My all time favourite biryani hotel. Restaurant may look old and outdated. But the biryani and kola taste is still mouthwatering. Same throughout the year.
Side dish wise, they have only few varieties in chicken and mutton. One must Pepper chicken , which is more special and different.
Biryani quantity okay. But side dishes are of small portion only. But always good quality. Will cook only limited quantity, and must visit bit earlier to get served all their items.

Ordered a mushroom biryani from Swiggy. It was quite tasty, the mushroom had good flavours like the rice. Generally, I feel that mushroom is put on top in mushroom biryani, which doesn't have good taste. Here that wasn't the case.
It comes with a korma gravy and onions soaked in curd (raita). The portion size of biryani was big and it was just for 90/-. I like their korma too, it was very different from all the other places I've had it.
Overall, very reasonable place with good food and taste.

Mutton Biryani tastes awesome and the gravy given also good. We had grilled chicken and Lemon soda also but it's not upto the mark. In sides some items are good but not all... Overall it's good for Biryani

The best mutton biriyani I’ve ever tried. Whenever I travel to Coimbatore, my travel is incomplete without a mutton biriyani from Venu. I have not tried their chicken dishes much. I stick to mutton biriyani, different dishes in mutton.. mutton sukka, brain, liver, kola etc. The meat is tender and well cooked. It’s so well mixed with the rice. The raita they give along with biriyani is also awesome. They also have meals, fish varieties etc. Usually crowded, but they have efficient staff who manage the crowd really well.

One of the best biriyani which I had was from Dindigul Venu Biriyani.This is the first time I tasted it,too yumm to forget the taste and flavours.
Very light to have,no excess oil or ghee used in the food.The taste was delicious.
One must have when you are in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Location was easily to spot and had sufficient Car parking in the back. Food was expectational, stick to the basic Mutton Biryani, Dalcha and Kolla Urudai. They neatly packed for us to take it back to Chennai.
I wouldn’t vouch for the Grill or Kebab dishes. The space is quite messy and not maintained in any standards. The restroom was pathetic. Would definitely go back for the food and only the food.

Nice 👌 mutton biryani and ch 65 delicious and superb 👌 kola urundai excellent. In main road, but no problem to car parking, back side of hotel.

The service is what stands out. Great service. We drove 250km to have their biriyani and it was pretty much worth it. The biriyani quantity is less but you get buckets of chicken and mutton gravy with them accompanied by rasam and curd milk. If you stay close by, you should give it a try.

Ordered Mutton biryani, etc & paid Rs.578. When the parcel was delivered to me, I checked again with the lady at the counter if it was the right order, as the whole process was a bit chaotic. The lady confirmed . Reached home & I find 2 chicken biryanis costing Rs.380. Tried calling the restaurant, phone no. is always busy. Feel cheated & disappointed.

I just love this place and if at all I wanted to taste biryani of any varieties their biryani stands at No.1. I could even give more than 5 stars if possible. Try Mutton Chukka and Liver fry which are equally good. Surprise is their evening food also superb quality and value for money.

Biriyani was at meet a podi rice. Chicken 65 was actually stone 65. If a person respects his tongue or tummy, it’s advisable not to swallow their so called excuse for a food. By the way this rating is only for food, excluding the cockroach roaming on their after meal jeera

Hello people! I ordered mutton biryani (1/2 ) , pepper chicken and boneless fish. What the gave me was mutton biryani quantity was very small(it was like quarter size) . Pepper chicken was so dry and tasteless. Whereas the we did not get boneless fish we got katla fish instead . The food we got was tasteless . Good reputation on the hotel is gone. People be very careful. I felt very hungry after eating and I found it waste of money.

Mutton Biryani is the best. Next comes chicken Biryani. But seriously someone kindly enlighten me the difference between 1/4 Bowl Biryani and 1/2 Bowl Biryani. Quantity looks the same but cost is much higher... Why? I might as well buy 2 quarter Biryani than spending so much on a half and getting nothing extra. Seems like cheating. Either price should go down or quantity must be increased considerably else the restaurant will go down!

Basically I love the taste and quality of the food by venu Biryani. But I am disappointed with the last two orders I had ordered online. The crab lollipop in the first order is not cooked and it's raw. In the second order there a only 2 small pieces of mutton in 2 mutton biryanis we had ordered. The quantity of mutton chukka is like two spoons. Unbelievable thing is that they have not given any raitha or gravy for biryani. The quality and quantity is dropping. Please take care. If such things happen frequently, u may not be in our favorite list.

Their briyani tastes divine and it would be outright wrong to even compare them with others. Unfortunately, this is also their Achilles heel. Sometimes, they just soak so much in this pride that they forget all other aspects, like checking if Raita has gone sour before putting it on customer's plate. Or checking if they have packed all kurmas for a delivery order. It is time you wake up and put in a more stringent quality check process please. It would be very unfair if you go out of business because of these issues and I would definitely feel guilty for not bringing it to your notice sooner.

I ordered 1/4 mutton biriyani and boneless chicken 65. Biriyani was good but I was given chicken 65 with bones in almost all of the pieces. Clearly, it was not boneless 65! Please don't change the order that is being requested. It leads to disappointment. :(

This restaurant serves authentic biriyani with many other dishes. Biriyani is cooked with seeraga samba rice which best for biriyani varieties. We have ordered Mutton kola urundai, Pepper chicken, Boiled eggs and Plain biriyani. As usual the restaurants that origin from dindigul serves good Biriyani. The quality and service was good. The prices of menu is low compared to other restaurants. If you are biriyani lover you should try here.
