Review La Cafe - Coimbatore

The Cafe is well placed right at the heart of RS Puram. The ambience was good. We had lasagna, cappuccino and fruit juice. Right from selecting the food from the menu till the delivery it was tidy and apt. Perfect for cozy diners with ambience. We really liked everything we ordered. Especially the coffee 😊😊😊 Highly recommended if you’re coffee lover ❤️❤️

The overall Ambience / atmosphere was good. . The staff were very friendly and polite . . Most seats are either 2,4 , and 4 plus type seating. . First thing is that it didn't mention that it was veg on the front. And the name of the dishes there were also like non veg but all here is veg... as we went there we have ordered some veg pizza... for the money we paid the isn't worth it...as the crust is so small...but the overall Ambience was legit good and clean. . Other than that overall it was fine .

Small cafe located in the buzz filled RS Puram area of the city. The cafe has a small and warm ambiance. Food options are great and value for money. Most importantly this place allows you to work while you order your fav coffee/snack options. I was looking for a place to complete my work on laptop and also eat but couldn't find any in the city. This is the best suitable place. The service given by the 3 boys there is appreciated. They were patient and understanding.

A must try cafe in town. Tastes are really better. One fine ambient cafe to chill out, have pep talk with friends or even for a fine mini date. The prices are nominal. Iced tea is a must try. The service is good. Coffee is top-notch. The ordering process is thru online. You can scan and then order, pay at the end. You can request the services thru the same site. It was quite unique and impressive. It isn't new, yet it was nice to have one around in this locality. The presentation of the dishes were commendable.

We ordered combo dishes. They all tasted good. Price is also reasonable and though the place was small, the ambience was good. Loved the dishes especially their baked pasta,peri peri fries,iced lemon tea.

This is one of the best cafe I have visited in Coimbatore. It's in RS Puram. A pretty cool interior with good decorative items. The staff are very friendly and it's a quick service. Prices are very reasonable. I have tried Oreo frappino, it was very cool and refreshing. Jalapeno pub fries - good starter, though it's bit spicy the taste was great with lot of jalapenos and sauce. Hot and smoky pasta was my favorite here, was so delicious with creamy sauce and soft. All the items were good and affordable. Overall, it's an amazing cafe

Wonderful experience! It's a spacious, quite and a wholesome cafe. I took my mother there and if she likes a place it has to be good. They are very careful in maintaining the authenticity of the dishes. We tried out Hot Chocolate, Hazelnut Coffee, Mediterranean Wrap, Fries and Cheesecake. The fries here anytime beats the ones from McDonald's, KFC or Burger King. The Hazelnut Coffee is way better than Starbucks. If you're looking for a place to hang out with friends or you want to take your family out for quick bites, try this place. The toilet is well maintained, and that was a definite mood changer hehe. So rare!

One of the must visit cafe in Coimbatore.. The ambiance is so good and staffs are wearing mask and gloves. My rating on below items which I tried is based on taste. Pizza-5/5 Garlic fries-3.8/5 Hot chocolate-4.2/5 Recommend you to try their pizza and hot chocolate😁❤️ If you are lucky, you will get seat. Last time when I went there, It was very crowded and I literally had to wait for 15 mins to get my seat. Plan accordingly and then visit the cafe.

Amaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great, waitressing is friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. But due to new year rush, slight delay in serving. I ordered a Die hard Lasagna ( which I feel was the best in this city), Classic Mojito made my day. Salad which they called grilled Veggies and Quesadillas( please try Corn stuff, I went for Cheese ) were average.

The food was great. The ambience was quirky. It is the best place to get vegetarian Italian food. I would say its a great place to catch up with friends. They took a lot of time to serve the food but it was totally worth it. Their hot chocolate and Tiramisu frappe is a must try.

Good food. Enjoyed the meal. Refreshingly it's a vegetarian only place. Would have given five stars if there hadn't been a ten minute gap between us finishing the entree and getting the main course. That too when half the tables were empty. Hopefully they will fix this issue. Recommended for fans of Italian cuisine. Do note that there are lots of tables set up back to back in an enclosed space.

Dropped in for beverages and the taste was good.The cafe offers a reasonable price for its items.The waiting time was reasonable.The ambience was good but the chairs were a bit uncomfortable.The cafe is a bit small and cramped and tends become noisy. If you expect privacy and peace this is not an ideal place. If you're in a group of more than five people, there are'nt any comfortable/good seating facilities available.

Place and food is very good. Table size for small for two peoples. High rate. Bit delay in serving food. Magnum Shake is ultimate.

Overall very nice .... All the items served as well and good...... Electric blue beverage is tasty.... Peri peri fry was crunchy and spicy .. chocolate banana smoothie was yummy.... Cheese cake giving wow taste..... Ambience is super ...... Chocolate waffle was melted and juicy filled with my tummy... Steak fries box, buttery panneer keema, Ghost rider pizza and hunger breaker burger all is good..

I ordered the die hard lasagna and mushroom basket on Zomato after looking at the rating and reviews, to say I'm disappointed would be an understatement, the lasagna was the driest I've ever had, absolutely no sauce, basically just 4 layers of pasta with paneer and a dry tomato sauce in between with cheese on top, the mushroom basket had bland mushrooms with some kind of peas curry that you'd normally eat with chapathi poured on top of the mushroom and i say pour cause it wasn't thick enough to stuff, worst part were the bits of cashews inside. I do hope the rest of the dishes were better, but based on what i tried, I'm never going back.

The cafe has cool aura with simple decoration inside. I have been longing for this cafe and it took years to get accomplished. The hazelnut cappuccino is just tasty and delicious. The masala chai was perfect and worth the money. I couldn’t try the snacks and food. The prices are quite high yet the taste is good. Good place for a quality time

This place has a nice ambience and good decor <br/>The food here is top-notch.. I have not seen any other place at our city with such versatile menu.. Right from your burgers , fries, pasta, Shawarma to Aloo Paratha, they have it all. <br/>We have tried their baked pasta, Barbeque Burger, fries and sandwiches. We loved it all.. They might have to improve a little on drinks and service. The staff here are very courteous.. Been here 2-3 times. Good ambience, good food. Hazelnut coffee is a must try. Pastas and fries are good. Was a bit disappointed with the Bombay sandwich. Cost approx 800/- for 2. Staffs are well mannered. Love the place for the fact that it's pure veg. Not even egg is served!

Had their Peri Peri Fries, Gobi Paratha and Lasagna. The taste of Peri Peri Fries was  very good. The only minus is that the quantity they serve is quite less. Their Lasagna tasted first class. Again they can increase the quantity for the amount they charge. Rating it 4.0 just because the quantities of the items served or else is a perfect place.

While searching for flat in RS Puram, i camr across thos cafe. As it was 3pm and never ending wait for owner of flat, who promised to come in that area by 2pm and after few promises of 5minutes wait, he decoded to switch of hos phone. So It was more of need not greed which compelled me to enter the place. Empty stomach increases your irritation level and being new in city u cant find anything to take it out. Good food calms you down.<br/>Place was filled with Gen Z n that was fitst indication that I was at right place. Young kids know where exactly they r hanging out n with whom. Malai Paneer burrito was well presented, maneer was very soft n stuffing was really big.<br/>Little improvement required for coffee they make.<br/>Value for money is excellent. Non vegetarian will be little disappointed.. Staff are very polite n efficient.

My forever favorite place in r s PURAM. A very cute Cafe with a variety of dishes on the menu. Each one was unique and the presentation was also good. Feels like you are in some Cafe abroad in Europe or something.

Curry pasta was awesome,must try. jelly stone waffle was not good,could have served better when given home delivery.,was very dry. and stir fry mushroom pasta's taste should be improved.

Love LA Cafe for their effort into veganizing dishes for us on request. Apart from the already existing custom burgers which we always crave for, they got us shakes made from soy / coconut milk and vegan whipped cream which were brilliant! Cute little place to sit back and relax.

Best and the most underrated cafe in India I would say... Way way way better than even Starbucks.. Prices are also not so high.. Nominal.. And yeah! Must try sameers' caramel ecstasy! Out of this world.. Unbelievable drink.. And Yuvaraj is his tutor and guide.. The owner of this wonderful cafe.. He is world class in his dishes.. Most yummy food and extremely unique and just unbelievable experience on the whole..must try.. Get ready to get addicted friends!

Nice place. Value for money. We ordered chocolate skyscraper, hot chocolate along with pizza sandwich, aloo Capsicum sandwich and achari prantha. Prantha could have been more spicier since its achari parantha. Service was a bit slow and can give side accompaniments like ketchup etc without asking for. Overall very nice ambience.

The place is quite compact and the ambience is simple but elegant.We tried Butter paneer lasagna which was very different from the others lasagnas i have tried and we also tried kitty alfredo pasta and the chocolate milkshake which was yum❤

La cafe is a beautiful place - it has a calming and soothing vibe around it.<br/><br/>Firstly, la cafe is definitely a place for coffee. Loved my hazelnut latte. Cappuccino was also great! Hot chocolate was yum at first but towards the end it became too sweet to drink.<br/><br/>Next moving on to the food, loved their hush puppies - cheese balls. Their cheese sandwich was simple but made to perfection. However, their churros was disappointing! I came with alot of expectations for this particular item. It had too much powdered sugar on it and in short it doesn't match to an actual churro.<br/><br/>First visit here was memorable, will visit again - just for the coffee at least!<br/><br/>

Visit 1:<br/>First time I visited i believe a year and half or two years ago, back when they had a place Race course. Remember hitting this place with so much hunger, and we ordered few starters and correct me if I'm wrong, I believe they had non-vegetarian options back then. <br/>I don't remember much, but I do remember the food was extremely tasty, well done. Loved the ambience, as always. Looked very cozy to go anytime.<br/>The cons at that time I felt was, it was pricey for the amount of food. Lack of staffs, made their service sloppy because we had to wait so long for the food to arrive.<br/>Visit 2: <br/>So this is my recent visit to their place in RS Puram. A very well situated calm place looks amazing and gives that french feel with an open kitchen/bar. The lighting, decor and maintainance was done well too. They now have only vegetarian menu, yet the options are so many to choose from. They had a separate menu to craft our own burger, house special monster shake which were the highlights of the day. Loved the fries and their variety made us keep digging for more. Cheesy nachos are a must try too. I truly feel this is one of the places in coimbatore to give a good burger. Now the service was quick, and the food was a value for money. Absolutely loved my 2nd visit. Almost nothing to point out wrong this time. Great job!

This is the worst experience one can have. Did not take order for almost 20 minutes and no one was there at the restaurant. They have two servers/cooks. I’ve been waiting here for someone to come take my order, no one has bothered.

They have the best lattes in town for coffee lovers. I just wished the have nice comfy seats to enjoy the fantastic lattes. The lasagne is tender and cheesy. The ambience is semi cozy and secluded from noisy street.

La cafe, is a quaint, beautiful little place which will definitely leave you satisfied and happy. The place isn't really crowded so you can have a really pleasant time. The ambience is soothing with wooden benches, stone walls and brown wallpaper. We ordered a cappuccino, garlic parsley fries and lasagna. The fries were really delicious with the right amount of garlicky flavor. I expected lasagna to be served on a little tray because I've got this little rule in my head that lasagna should always be served in a tray, and was a tad disappointed when I saw a porcelain plate, but leaving these really small ramblings aside, it tasted amaazing and the quantity was just perfect. The cappuccino was also really good.<br/>Overall it's a place that you will definitely frequent, because the food is also great and pricing is also reasonable. I hope to go again some other day and try the other ones on the menu too.

It was long back that I headed to this cafe on a weekday for a late breakfast! The place was empty wen I walked in... Calm cozy little place neatly maintained n their manager was very humble n courteous...I had the chocolate banana milkshake, butter toast n plain waffle with chocolate sauce n chocolate ice cream on top.. The milkshake was a thumbs-up, the waffle was good but definitely not the best... I've had better waffles outside n didn't really bcom a fan of the waffles here.... The butter toast was just one plain slice of bread cut into four halves toasted in butter n it was priced Rs. 50/- then. There is of course nothing to be surprised but I didn't like it even... The bread wasn't good....so the toast was a let down.... otherwise I liked the place.. it's a cute coffee shop perfect for any time of the day wen one wants to snack in or refresh or have a quick light meal... I became their regular now. And I absolutely love their pastas, Peri Peri fries and all of their drinks are a must try! It's a great lil place to have a relaxed meal.

If you are looking for a place to hang out with your friends or just be by yourself, La Cafe is the best. I went alone, with a copy of the Christmas Carol in my hand. I had the best time! The staff was really friendly, service was quick. I didn't eat much but I tried the latte which was yum (I had to order 2 more)! But the best part I like about this place is the music isn't loud and the AC wasn't turned up. Perfect atmosphere to socialise. :)

Looking for a calm place, good music and a coffee. Get your bike started and visit La Cafe. One of the must visit cafe in Cbe. Though its a very tiny place but the food there would compromise your complaints. Pink hot chocolate, sizzling walnut brownie, stuffed mushrooms and those crispy french fries is a must try. And its quite easy on pockets. A few other delicacies I did try but then its hard to remember those names. I personally enjoyed every morsel I tasted.

exellent ambience!<br/>best place to hang out with friends..<br/><br/>we had hush puppies (cheese balls)<br/>oreo frappino,veggie balls pasta,piri piri fries and electric blue cooler. <br/> they had different varieties of frappinos, mojitos,smoothies, and hot coffees.<br/>everything was good and it's worth for the price.<br/>

The  place is located near Wang's kitchen .  The ambiance was good but however I felt the place was a little cramped. <br/><br/>We ordered a classic mojito , cheese chilly toast , cheese fries and a baked pasta. <br/><br/>The classic mojito tasted nothing different than a lemon soda. <br/><br/>Cheese chilly toast was good, but before even we could relish the taste of it , it was gone. Quantity was way too less.<br/><br/>Baked pasta was good with cheese overloaded but I felt it could have been baked even more. Im afraid to say, but I m not sure if it was baked in an oven. However I couldn't think of it as a baked pasta. <br/><br/>Cheese fries - At first we thought we were served a normal fries , but after clarification , we came to know it was indeed cheese fries . I was expecting french fries in cheese sauce , but instead cheese was sprinkled over it. And to be honest , we did not get the cheese flavour in the fries. And fries was really good. Its been sometime since I had yummy french fries. Long , potatoes baked perfectly , and fried just the right amount, the fries were indeed outstanding.  Tip :  Order large portion , that's the normal quantity of fries.  <br/><br/>The overall experience was fine . But I think they can refine their menu. A look at the menu card gives an impression that the place is economical. But given the quantity , it isn't .

Heard about this cafe long back, but got a chance to visit today. Basically i have walked half a kilometre under the bright sun to visit this cafe so i was totally fired off, but once i entered the ambience made me feel clam and refreshed. Now let's come to the food, i have ordered for a barbeque burger (filling was caramelized onion, sauteed mushroom and a block of cottage cheese cooked in barbeque sauce) which tasted so amazing and fresh, then i ordered for a chocolate frappe which was good but would have been a bit more thicker, now the best part was for me the espresso 'perfect.... ' just one word and The pricing is so reasonable. Mr. yuvraj and his wife (sorry forgot to ask your name😁) were so kind and helpful. Will come to grab some more of your dishes next time. Overall it was a great afternoon experience for me. It's a must try place.😀😀

The atmosphere at La cafe is that of a street side cafe in the old part of Paris...With their Sandy oak wood tables and matching decor it genuinely does feel like you're about to tuck into a quaint little afternoon of good coffee and hors d'oeuvres.<br/><br/>Which is exactly what this all vegetarian cafe offers. From a small plate lasagna, to stuffed mushrooms, to burritos, they cater to whatever you might be craving, and is in my opinion a must try even if you're not a vegetarian.<br/><br/>Their coffee menu is extensive and exciting while their food menu, although wide in approach, comes together quite well.<br/><br/>Even though I've only had the opportunity to eat there once, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the dishes, especially since I was I skeptical as a hardcore carnivore.<br/><br/>All in all this is a great place to while away a few hours sipping coffee and pecking at a few good munchies.<br/><br/>Follow me @king_a_la_carte on Instagram for more gluttonous food porn pictures and reviews.

Very good quality coffee! The place is done up very well with a lot of bright light coming in. I have been here a couple of times and would keep going back for the coffee. Friendly staff too.

The only Café style Café in Coimbatore. The coffee is one of its kind. Might be too intense for Indian standards, but by international standards the coffee is just perfect. Latte is amazing. They have a limited but exclusive range of food in their menu. Tried some salads that were amazing. The interiors are well designed. Makes up a Cozy spot for coffee and conversations. The location is easy to find and I am glad that we have something like this in coimbatore. A must visit if you live coffee or crave for a coffee house setting that is similar to that of the West. A hidden wonder.

Went for a brunch on a leisure Saturday morning.<br/>The ambience is good and a lovely place for an evening date.<br/>The kitty pasta was moderate but the cheesy potato wedges were good.<br/>Mojitos added to the contemporary outlook of the place.

Been to this place twice! The first time me and a friend just had an iced tea each and some hash browns!! Both were pretty good! The iced tea was well flavoured I must remark. The second time I tried the mojito, my favourite flavour, green apple. I loved it!! Just like the iced tea it was very well flavoured and nice and chill!! Although I'd suggest they give more quantity. We also tried the quesadilla, which was beautiful as well!! Spicy to indianise the flavour but cheesy and good amount of veggies, the dips with it complimented the quesadilla very well!! Overall I've had two good experiences with this place although I've not heard very good reviews from the people I know!

Awesome place, awesome food... Guys definitely pay a visit to tis place. It has really gr8 menu... My fav was de freshly baked Choco Lava cake.. It was so yummy.. Try panner cones too.. V ve gr8 choices for toppings.. I m definitely going again to tis place... 👍👌

A small quite place, warm ambience and slow service. Ordered a peach iced tea, cold coffee, the corn risotto platter and the parsley garlicky fries. The drinks were decent, the fries were manageable. I could hardly taste garlic. The risotto platter was bad. Never had Basmati rice tossed and sautéed in Salt and pepper and barely topped with cheese, served in the name of risotto. Risotto is supposed to creamy in consistency and this was dry. I hope they fix their risotto, or stop calling whatever they serve as "risotto".

Personally, its one of my favorites. This cafe is not crowded. An amazing ambience for get togethers, a date , unions , etc. I love the vibe it has to it. A great place to catch a small talk. Waffles were below average. Quesadillas were yummy and the smoothies were on point. A big plus is that it is veggie friendly but a major con is that it is on the expensive side. Definitely recommended. :)

Excellent ambiance, yummy food, value for money, good place for gossips and time pass.. Must try!!!!  I ordered for chocolava cake & it was really good made hot & fresh. Also tried for grilled burger which was so tasty

Had been here a couple of times, lovely ambience. We had tried the waffles here, and it was pretty average. <br/>The baked pasta and the fries here are really good. They give the baked pasta in a cup of tea which is really fascinating.<br/>Coming to the service part, a little slow! We were the only ones sitting inside but still took more than 30 mins for our food to arrive. But if you can wait for good food, this is the perfect place. <br/>Try to make the service a little faster.

la cafe is located at old Muhil Donuts near wangs kitchen.it is nice place for a evening chit chat meet...........snax are good.but a dissappointing one is that a orders takes more than 20 minutes to attain our table

This cafe is opposite to A1 snack street and is easy to find. It's a small place with a clean and beautiful ambiance. Had a coffee, smoothie and waffle. Tastes were good and the rates are also considerable. Peaceful place to spend an evening with coffee.

La Cafe is situated adjacent to Wangs Kitchen on DB Road and is hard to miss. The seating is limited but is like benches you'd see at a park, and is well furnished. The ambience is really good , but if you're sitting here for a little too long, then the wooden benches might be a pain to sit on! The first time i hopped in here was for some Irish Latte, and I didn't quite enjoy it. But I guess you can never judge a restaurant after having just one drink from there, so i decided to go yet again. It was around Christmas Time, so the place was well decorated and looked lovely. They also had a spin a wheel mounted on the wall, with various offers on your meal for the day. The place was filled with the aroma of freshly baked plum cakes and brownies, so we couldn't say no to a plate of them. The brownies were well baked and tasted good. Their nachos are a good appetizer too. We ended the meal with a drink, the Sunrise and enjoyed it. Hoping to try out their burritos and waffles the next time here! Overall, a 5/5 for ambience, 4/5 for quality of food, 3/5 for service , and 4.5/5 for value for money.
