COSTLY is the word, I would start my review with. This is house restored into a hotel. They don't have enough parking. And finally they really don't fulfill the Mexican touch in their food. Needs improvement.

A different taste. Mexican dishes spiciness is comparable to Indian dishes & sometimes spicy like Andhra dishes . Absolutely loved their nachos, burritos, tacos & soups. But unfortunately now they have shutdown.

There's an outlet in our college campus(Sri Krishna college,kuniyamuthur)..when my friend and I went for the first time we ordered tacos..chicken wrap.. Vanilla milkshake and brownie with ice cream.. Vanilla milk shake was the best.. The rate was also reasonable.. <br/>Started saving money to spend eating @mexitoes.. :)))

can do better, the taste is not very authentic. Chicken wings were ok but we did not like the mexican food tried burritos. Also the spice levels were very low could do with more chillies.

Bad! Felt really bad for checking in here! Feels like a loss of money.. Could improve alot more on flavours and spices.. Food got by us was completely bland that we left without eating!

Mexitoes was a very promising restaurant becoz the city lacks a dedicated Spanish cuisine eatery. But mexitoes is nowhere close to match the expectation. I was really looking forward to the burritos and nachos before they opened their doors. But the first try itself disappointed me

Ordered: classic Bruschetta, Chimichanga Sonora veg, Quesadilla cheese and mud souffle<br/>Classic bruschetta: Had loads of tomatoes and was very tangy. Otherwise, was OK<br/>Chimichanga Sonara Veg: Very generous amount of fillings with loads of beans and mushroom. Simple and plain dish. Very filling too. <br/>Quesadilla cheese: Amazing! But they could have been a bit more generous with the fillings. But happy with amount of cheese!<br/>Mud souffle: I was expecting a very nicely risen chocolate souffle but they served me cut brownie with ice cream! That's pure cheating!<br/><br/><br/>

These were called Nachos... It tasted like papad with tomato chutney!..I think we don need any more comments... Took a pure risk even after reading bad reviews

Had a bitter experience.....! First thing came into my mind when i heard about the place serving mexican cuisine "spicy", but the food was plain and "not spicy".

This place left me with nothing but disappointment. The food doesn't even taste Mexican. The desserts seem interesting but taste awful. Been here once never went back.

They tag themselves Mexican but the authenticity is not to the perfection. A bit disappointed but they impressed. Worth a try and not more than that. They are in the main road and so finding the place would be a easy job.

i tried home delivery and unfortunately ended up having a bitter experience.Since i ordered for just myself i checked the menu given in zomato and carefully ordered for the minimum(home delivery has a minimum order limit of rupees 350).[I ordered grande nachos and a enchilada]The delivery duration here was given to be 30 minutes.I received it in 45 minutes.The bill i got at my doorstep was 479.After i settled the amount the guy who delivered said the delivery charge is excluded from the bill.when i asked him he explained some kind of a taxi concept like a per km charge and rupees 15 per km beyond a distance.He said the total delivery charge was 95.My opinion is not that they must not charge for home delivery but they must be professional and organized enough to deal with home delivery.They must have informed me since this concept is unusual. MEXITOES i request you to improve on your management

Why should Mexican restaurant offers Malaysian chicken. Any links. This shows the hotel is pro on the field. Tommorow they will offer chettinand. Coimbatoreans aware

Very mediocre place. Though it looks fancy from the outside, the inside isn't all that great. The service personnel who gave me the bill didn't know the difference between debit card and credit card. My card got locked. <br/>The music is nice. Food is good. Cosy place to eat. Could've been made a little more spacious.

I'm not willing to get desserts here , but I love their nachos but not a takeaway. The ambience is good and they are maintaining their hygiene in the way it must be maintained. They have to improve a lot. I'm not a fan of this restaurant.

Food is not in par with Mexican taste or quality<br/>One observation is all other food varieties are good compared to Mexican <br/>Ambiance is good with Mexican decorations <br/>Must try satay chicken and Classic bruschetta.

If you're like me and you have sudden nacho cravings, this is the only place in town that can deliver the closest thing to good nachos. Plus it's a decent sized plate for one person or if you like to share your nachos you should probably get some barbecue wings cause I guess that's Mexican too?

Descent Parking Space and Awesome ambience. exhaustive menu. Mildly surprised to find the foods taste authentic Mexican. The quality of their dishes justifies their price tag. Another important factor which I liked the most is that they have an equal number of vegetarian dishes also...Mexitoes is definitely not one of those namesake Mexican restaurants...definitely a must visit place for Mexican food lovers...

Went to try some different kind of food .. But amazed with the taste of Mexican dish.. Good taste and friendly staff. Must try out <br/>place for those who explore good food.

The ambience is pretty good. One advice is never opt for a take away here. Everything becomes soggy and inedible. Dine in is pretty decent. Loved their nachos and fries. Not a huge fan of their desserts.

Loved their authentic mexican food. The ambience was so cool and quite. My family enjoyed the food. Will def recommend to my friends who look out for good food esp Mexican.

Food was very much Mexican. Expensive but later came to know that cheaper Combo was available (for lunch only)<br/>Good place for once in a while.

Not as good as expected.. very slow in serving the dish. Had to wait fr a v long time to get the order served..!! Veg dishes r better than non veg. Wouldnt visit fr the second time

its one of the best foods i ve eaten in coimbatore <br/>taste very good service is also good and my only set back was the amount of food put on a plate <br/>for example only 3 tacos in any taco meal . i mean it costs around 230 rupees and i think they should make it at least 4 pieces <br/>apart from this everything is awsome

Anybody doubt about its food on seeing a house like appearance initially but trust me you will forget after tasting food. One and only option for Mexican cuisine lovers in Coimbatore , Though there are few more restaurants who have mexican dishes, Mexitoes stands out of the crowd. Flavours are awesome.Every items are made out of special care. Service is decent. Happy eating?.

No desvies la mirada! (don't look away)<br/>Quedate cerca de mi! (stay close to me)<br/><br/>When I stepped in, it was like a home in the middle of a desert! Typical Mexican atmosphere as shown in the movies! The ambiance was perfect with Spanish songs humming!<br/><br/>Bruschetta, Enchilada, Crostini...& lots more. I must really admit that Keralites are Daredevils.  The Keralite chef has lived in Mexico & brought the cuisine to Coimbatore! :-)<br/><br/>The taste.... just awesome! The service is also too good. Mocktails were perfect. I wanna take my next bite here as soon as possible.<br/><br/>A little more marketing will boost their business for sure. Little expensive but taste says worth it ;-) Mexitoes....... here I come!

Nice to have a Mexican speciality restaurant round the corner even though the starters & shakes are great the main course sucks should build up on the cleanliness aspect !!

Food is above average and not a Mexican styled ones. Tastes more like Indian. Service is bad with only one attender for all tables. Overall, it's just another hotel and nothing special about this.

Excellent Mexican food in a city like Coimbatore. Loved the "Rice Bowl" - Worth repeating I would say. Its a small house convert restaurant. Good courteous staff.

We had a nice dinner at Mexitoes. It was Colourful & delicious.. We liked their crispy tacos very much. BBQ platter was really good with different flavours of chicken skewers..

Me and My Friends were craving for "out of the ordinary cuisine" for Dinner. Finally decided to try Mexitoes. As soon as i entered i got a good feeling about the Place. It was Neat with well arranged tables, also well air Conditioned. <br/><br/>Started of with "Chicken Wings" , Which was cooked to Perfection. We loved it and went on to have "Meat lover's Rice bowl". The Platter looked well Garnished and by the looks of it , it had "delicious" written all over it !<br/><br/>And this came to an end with "Virgin Mojito" which was Pretty Good too.... <br/><br/>The best part is it happened 2 months back and i still remember the dishes i had. That is because we loved the food so much. I had a Good experience , so Mexitoes will always be on my menu for next time, when i reach Coimbatore. Keep Going !!!!

First off, it is a great relief to find a mexican restaurant in Coimbatore. Mexitoes is tucked in a quiet residential neighborhood. The ambience is welcoming with a comfortable and spacious seat arrangement. I could fathom the playing of mexican music in the background but little did it contribute to the feel of authenticity.  Car parking can be a hassle. <br/><br/>My wife and I, ordered the Crispy Chicken tacos and loved it very much. The taco shell was thicker than I expected and the chicken was yummy. We also got the Monterrey Chicken Quesadilla that was an absolute delight. The chicken was cooked to perfection with a perfect medley of veggies. We couldn't get enough of the cheese dressing on the Quesadilla.<br/><br/>We also got the Chicken rice bowl Burrito and the Chicken Fajita. I felt a bit let down on both of them, probably because of the standard set by Tacos and Quesadilla. I felt the mexican rice was a bit bland and undercooked , maybe because of the short grained rice with not enough time on the stove.<br/><br/>The chicken that came with the burrito was perfectly cooked where as the chicken fajita was very dry as it was the same chicken as that of the burrito except it was grilled further which took all the moisture out of it.<br/><br/>Now that I think about it, I never got any pico de gallo or sour cream with any of the dishes. The salsa was good but I would have it a little more spiced up. And finally, we got the almond horchata that was delicious with an excellent after taste.

Visited Mexitoes for the first time yesterday, the food was absolutely fabulous esp. the Enchilada and the nachos. The place has good ambience and is very neatly done. A must-visit for Mexican food lovers. For first timers, try the 300 bucks corporate combo.

For those who have no idea of what to order in a different Mexican menu, Just go for a 250 Rs. Corporate lunch combo at Mexitos!... Great recipe.. Mexicano feels good????????

Been here with my office folks , 18 of us altogether. as it was a planned visit , they offered a customized menu and it was very purse friendly :) . the ambiance is very good and they guys served us well. we started with a Mexican soup , very yummy appetizer, then tarts , chicken & Mushroom both tasted good . then we tasted burrito rice bowl and  burrito wrap . we ordered a sea food burrito wrap outside of our customized menu it was the winner and we don't know how much we ordered again and again. to our surprise the customized menu was never ending. we tasted inchilladas and finished with  mexican brownie and ice cream which tasted really good . overall a very good experience with mexitoes. I highly suggest this restaurant for team gathering and corporate eatout events.

It was our first try with Mexican food and wasn't disappointed.<br/><br/>First credits to the service.  Nice team and good service.  But we would expect them to be more suggestive as we the cuisine is a new one.<br/><br/>Food and presentation was great.  We enjoyed every bit of it.  Nacho chip chicken dip stole my son's heart.<br/><br/>The place is not a grandeur, but a homely atmosphere with good ambience, enjoyed it.<br/><br/>Kudos Team

I have never eaten Mexican food so I m not sure if this is authentic mexican but the food was awesome. Lot of variety and delicious. Small but good place

The waiters were friendly, the menu looked interesting etc but the proof of the pudding is in the eating..  Was very disappointed with the food, it felt like the chef was learning to cook mexican food through online recepies...<br/><br/>I was not expecting a London wahaca but expected it to atleast match the taste of fast food chains like Taco Bell or chipotle but was left very disapointed...  A very poor atempt at serving Mexican cuisine..

You can go there for their anchilados. A very nice dish! The starters are not bad. Veg people will have a tough time to decide because this is a decent non veg restaurant. !

Many of my friends say that "What ever you eat, you only say its good". I say, what's wrong in that? Is it an individuals taste to like a food or not? Every dish has a taste in it. A uniqueness. It may not be the perfect way to make it. But when it is made and u like the taste nothing else matters. <br/><br/>Thus my first attempt with the Mexican food at our city was good enough to make me smile and a very good first impression with the ambiance and service. Keep it up.<br/><br/>Coming to the main part. The soup was wonderful and spicy enough to make my eyes wet and the Grilled Cheezzzy Burritos was good and Quesadilla was excellent. The fish platter was less of salt so they were kind enough to change it. The desert that the owner suggested was awesome. But its not a caramel pudding. Looks similar but it had a different name.<br/><br/>Mexitoes is also coming up with BBQ's and grills in coming days. Glad to know that.
