Had Vanjaram fish fry, chicken biryani and non veg meals. This place is under rated for non veg lovers. Non veg meals was just amazing. Loved it. Loved the service. Will prefer to go again.
Had been here for lunch on Sunday after about 5 years. Could sense the improvement on the quality, variety , service and taste of the food ordered.
Kola urundai's were fresh, bones in the soup were nice, enjoyed the quality and quantity of Mutton Biryani.
Mutton Chukka was not that good.

The extended ice cream bar is awesome
Yummy bun parotta.. never experienced such taste with chicken gravy for just ₹99.. really worth the penny. Keep up the good work team. Will Expect the same in future..

Had a very nice chettinad fishcurry with amazing thalis its good and wonderfull taste, ambience or authentic and traditional too.service was good all menu prices is woŕth and good quality aswell.
We went here for an office party so we ordered almost every starter they had. We found them to be really good. Biryani was also very tasty. My friends had crab too but they said it wasnt fresh. But chicken was good though.
Had a wonderful lunch ordered "popular meals" (nonveg thali) from the menu, chicken cettinad, chicken curry, fish curry, mutton curry, curd, rasam, poriyal , papad, Roti's , rice, and 3 more veg item all for 160 was really worth , friendly staff and quick service. Keep it up anjappar.
My friend and I had a wonderful lunch (Prawn & chicken Biriyani, Prawn fry, chicken &prawn gravy were fabulous yummy). thanx to ANJAPPAR @ chennai. Best service.. I would love to come again & again & again.

A very good place to have chettinadu food. Food is reasonably priced. My personal favorite is Vanjaram fish fry from here. I d recommend this restraunt for spicy food lovers.
Anjappar is my fav chettinad cuisine restaurant...!!! I loved it and always used to visit in indira nagar and koramangala in bangalore..!!! So i visited here too...!!! I felt in coumbatore being lil more ethnic than the in Benguluru...!!!
One of the popular restaurant...... Few years back it was verryyyyy tough to go inside the restaurant during sundays but now not that much crowded..... Their meals and biryanis are very popular..... We have tried many chicken starters here..... Heard that mutton items will also be nice..... We also like their kaadai fry, it was very tender and tasty...... They are also famous for their falooda(my frens' suggestion)..... Overall must try restaurant😃.
Ambience lacks but they make it up in their super fast service, quality and lip smacking taste of food. Sitting is too close to each other, n u end up knowing de menu others have ordered😜. Light on pocket too
Great food and perfect ambience for both lunch and dinner, try the seasonal items if available, items are priced bit high compared nearby, service and parking facility were good.
Chettinad cuisine is best served here! Best Chettinad biriyani's are available at an affordable cost. People who doesn't like Chettinad cuisines will have a bitter experience. Not so costly, not so cheap! It is definitely one restaurant in Coimbatore where you get authentic taste!
Anjappar has been one of my go to places for yummy non veg food.
I usually try their lunch. I like their biryanis especially the nattu kozhi one.

Nethili fry is one thing they are so good at. They are crispy and perfectly done.
The authentic south indian chetinad quality food is served best here. Chicken /mutton briyani, fish fry, pepper chicken, chicken chetinad , tandoori chicken and the NV meals are in the top list . Its rush most of the time so have to wait for the table. Its located across globe so everyone can taste and enjoy authentic food.

The taste of the anjappar is still living and its standard in all branches...the only thing this lack is customer service lil bit and the ambience...needs reconstruction...the ambience should be bright to make customers eat with a interest...and there is some kind of raw meat smell around..it needs to be get rid of....overall taste is good
Had visited this place with my friend accidentally. Loved the ambience. Serves authentic south Indian food, which is actually tasty. Probably will visit the restaurant if I am in Coimbatore sometime.
Good, spicy food! I have been to the place for 3-4 times. Their chicken chettinad was awesome. Prawn Chettinad was also good. Biryani was not so great.

Chettinadu dishes are good there but I realized that they are more than "good" by the way my pals fought & hogged over the meat. 'Meaty' wars I must say!
Biriyani was really good; so were the kebabs.
But the place is a mess. Looks a lot of compromise is done on hygiene even in the seating areas. And to top of that, the staff service is only average.
You can dine once... you'll be fed, but not waited upon properly.
I went to this restaurant for a weekend lunch. The taste was authentic chettinad which is my favourite cuisine and the staffs were courteous. I ordered for a naatu kozhi biriyani and nei meen. As I mentioned earlier taste was very good but the quantity is just enough to feed a teen. I was not satisfied with the quantity served though the taste tries to make up for it. My suggestion is try out fish dishes and naatu kozhi instead of the mundane broiler chicken dishes.

Last week after a day of shopping at Gandhipuram n RS Puram, we end up at Anjappar around 9.30PM for dinner. We were group of 5 and all of them were non vegetarians.
I have been to Anjappar few times, but around 7 years back when I was studying here. Bharathiyar Road, Gandhipuram always known for decent restaurants like A2B, Anjappar, Rayappas, Chicken Sampoorna, etc..
We ordered 2 Tangdi Kebab, Fish 65 for starters, 2 Chicken Biryani, Chicken kothu parotta, 2 Dosa for mains & 1 fresh line juice & 4 fresh lime sodas as drinks. Totally it costs ₹1519 (₹1420 + tax). All the items were decent & value for money.
Service was not that great, since they served some of the dishes & accompaniments very late.
Overall a decent chettinadu restaurant with good food & not great service.
A good hotel for Non Veges who prefer biriyani!!! Taste is good. Ambience is also good. Unlike other hotels this hotel has biriyani made of basmati rice. That makes this hotel a special one!!! You have to pay for the taste!!!

Not all the dishes are good,but some dishes are good.The prices are high compared to the taste.If you want to have a snack or brunch,you can opt this place.

I've eaten in Anjappar in Bangalore and i've gotta say this was the best food I've had and the way we were treated was fantastic.
Dishes I had was Tandoori Chicken, Meals (specially the Rasam, it was the best i've had so far), Chicken Fried Rice (no complaints here as well) Mutton Biriyani (trust me when a muslim guy tells that the biriyani was awesome) & Parota. They had given ample gravy for everything.
The food was good. We tried the CB and fried rice. It taste good.

A well maintained restaurant with excellent service.Food is a bit costly but the taste is worth it. The lighting inside was so perfect and brings you to a calm mood just what is required while you eat. Air conditioning is available along with music. So the place not just feeds your stomach but also your mood. Total capacity is around 60 people. Has 2 people, 4 people and 6 people dining options.
It's really tasty, spicy and sweet then it's much satisfied and it's good

Good restaurant offering tasty south Indian spicy Non vegetarian foods. Ordered one variety each time and each have a unique taste. Chicken Biryani was my favourite dish and i order it very frequently. Recommended for Birthday parties, get together, etc...
Had mutton brain fry...its very tasty.
Ambience is okay. Meals for Rs 160 is not worth it. Only chicken gravy is given no curd. Staffs are good.
Normally outside in a decent hotel you get for Rs 100 to Rs 120 chicken, Mutton and Fish gravy (curry) with decent porial(vegetables).

I have a short story for above comment,
We have ordered many items everything was tasty & worthy. After the dinner we paid the money. Mistakenly they swiped two times but I haven't noticed on that time. Next day am went back to Chennai & checked the balance in my account, noticed two times money was deducted. We contacted them through number which was in bill, then they responded back in amazing manner. Then I explained them, then agreed that mistake is on their side. Then they assured we will put the amount through bank. After 3 hrs I got the amount (1626) back to my account.
Note : They have not transferred through internet. They went to bank & transferred by filling the form.
