Nice ambience. Staffs are more attentive. You will get a chance to test your horrible singing skills here.. when it comes to food, yes it's OK. I won't say it's great, but the ambience and the way they taking care of, will make you feel warmth. Bit expensive but fine to give a try. You can see lot of traditional stuffs here. You also have some books to read here.. :)

Good food with awesome taste .!! Interior was really awesome I can see more flags and boards with some funny Tamil dialogues 😂 .that will impress you sure and the dishes are really amazing. I am sure this will make you revisit again

A different setting of restaurant (you will find it when you visit), an out of proportion menu card which we will get used to, nice ambience, has space to serve many people... Food is good enough for the cost.... Overall good.

Great place for a slow dinner.... Atmosphere is really good. They serve the best Grilled fish in the city, almost all the items are really good, one of the best places to try different dishes. Only issue is slow service. Staffs are helpful.

Slaves Resturant at kovai is a ideal place for anyone let it be couples or groups. The Chill out Zone at Slaves Resturant is really a nice place to have a get together, party or business discussions. Food is really good with moderate cost only. Serves with lot of fish varieties, southindian, Thai, even continental. Chill zone gives a good ambience and being located near to Voc Park helps to reach the place without traffic hassles. Affordable for everyone..

We organised an party here. It's good and people who are working here are so supportive and ready to help. Food was also good and internal building structure is good. When we come upon cost, it's little bit high compared to the similar type restaurants.

The restaurant had a different view of setup which was very interesting to have my dinner. The dishes and starters were so amazing. Visited this place during lunch time ordered for their signature dal along with butter Naan. All of them were served within 5 mins of time which is actually pretty quick. The dal was excellent, absolutely loved it. Will surely be visited India soon and will return back to for sure

Awesome... awesome...awesome. Came back to my hometown, from usa after almost 4 years. Friends came to pick me up at the airport. I was dying to eat hardcore South Indian food, at the same time wanted a chill place to catch up with my friends. Based on my friends suggestion, went to the Slaves. It was just perfect.. best ambience I’ve ever seen in india. Relaxed and hippie. When the food came I was floored. Loved every bit of it. This is the first time few of friends visiting this place. They were super satisfied too. My come back to india started with a best time, so much fun time with my friends thanks slaves( what a name !)

Went with a group of 20 for a fairwell party. Although I have heard great reviews about the Slaves, never got a chance to try it myself. There is something about the way they attend the guests. Right from owner everyone does everything. Serving food, cleaning tables, interesting conversation. Good looking too :-) when one of my colleagues wanted to see the kitchen, chef came out to took him inside and explain all in detail. Fantastic experience, great food. Can’t wait to introduce this to other friends

Went to Thai mamma two days back with my friend from Italy. She asked for lasagne and I ordered mutton briyani. My friend wiped off the lasagne completely with such an happy face as she was served with Indian food for the past one week. Briyani was super tasty. I could not believe a Restaurant in coimbatore could serve both lasagne and mutton briyani this good!!! It is hard to have a team that could manage these two extreme cuisines this good..as I know it based on my own experience. On top of it, it was like dining in an art exhibition!. My friend kept talking about this place to all her friends. Coimbatore lifestyle certainly changing .

Great Ambience and vibes. Really felt the place will have great food, unfortunately wasn’t upto the mark. The complimentary veg soup was very bad, not recommended. The roti wasn’t cooked properly. We asked for Green chuntney and we had to ask the waiter 4 times and still the chutney was delayed. The air conditioning was not working and when we complained the waiter said that it was turned on but wasn’t. The egg fried rice was really good. Loved it.

Man they have been here for more than a year and I did not know that!! This place is something. When I stepped in I was welcomed like good old friend. Chef came out to take the order, owner came to check if all going ok. Boys at the floor are smiling all the time and when the food came it was really really awesome.

This place seems very impressive when you enter, but that just it.<br/>The food and the service was so bad.<br/><br/>The interior is indeed very well done. Could standout as a good museum.<br/>But I went there to eat food. And indeed it's worst place I have been to for food. The AC's were not functioning in this heat. And even after asking 4-5 times for them to switch it on they didn't. We were suffocating inside. The food is really bad quality. I could taste the raw maida on the rumaali roti.<br/>The chicken tikka was only full of bones and very less meat. The starters were really just okay enough to eat. I just sat and ate through because I was paying.

The ambience is different, like really different. I didn’t like it much but it isn’t bad. Had a red sauce pasta and a few starters. The food is pretty good. The complimentary soup for the day was also nice. Price is on the higher side when compared to the ambience and food. Worth trying.

So being in Coimbatore we decided to give he finest Zomato gold partner a try.<br/><br/>Honestly we were quite impressed with the ambience and overall feel of the place. It is absolutely artsy and very tastefully done, but sadly food is no match for its looks. <br/><br/>What we ordered:<br/>Fire roasted panner : this was skewered paneer cubes which were toasted on direct fire making them all burnt and stiff. There was actually no noticeable flavour/ seasoning in it either because it was not applied it or because the burnt flavour masked it over completely. Paneer in it self was not soft and creamy but very rubbery and bland.<br/><br/>Poor prep<br/><br/><br/>Red Thai curry with plain rice: <br/><br/>The gravy was tasteful but for the first time I had misfortune of having cauliflower instead of broccoli in Thai curry. It completely ruined its flavour for me. Curry also didn’t have zucchini and tofu in it and the charm was definitely missing.<br/><br/>Rice- it was daily typical south Indian rice which was being served with the Thai curry. Although I don’t mind the rice as such but there should have been proper jasmine rice to go along.<br/><br/>Pad Thai noodles- this was one of the worst preps I have had in years. All the noodles were very poorly boiled and were clumped together making it a one fine mess. The gravy was missing and instead they were very sadly tossed in some very oily masala- yes you read that right!! Not sauce but some very sad masala. Bad !!🤮🤢 had to get it packed and give it away.<br/><br/>Overall food: 2/5<br/>Overall ambience: 4/5<br/>VFM: 1/5<br/><br/>Given the location and the quality of ambience of this place this resturant can do much better if they work on their menu and invest in good chef. <br/><br/>Else it is a colossal waste of money of both owners and customers

IAm really impressed with decor such a beautiful concept and the menu was perfect bcz all type of cuisine best one they added on menu this is not one type of cuisine . All of them try this restaurant atleast once in a lifetime:) special and delicious food was grill fish. Actually I frighten to order that but unpredictable taste must try this food ..I want to give five star but I have two disappointed in this restaurant 1st there is no proper service for food serving they named slaves but no slaves there😜and 2nd lava cake so much liquid chocolate cake so less the quantity also too much lava cake should be small .. I’ll be again soon to try other dishes 👍🏾<br/>

Great improvement overall. Been to this place few months back and walked out with big Disappointment. Visited again because of monthly party. Big changes overall. Thaimama south indian dishes are some of the best ive had in cbe. Especially their briyani! Bright future for them i bet. The concept of monthly secret party is very innovative.

We went to this place for dinner and loved the food! The grilled fish was melting in the mouth. Drunken chicken was perfectly done. We had a lot of starters and everything was very well done! The Ambience is gorgeous. A must visit for a fun evening with friends and family!

I have tried some Thai dishes ... Specially ‘Thai Roasted Fish’ It was extremely good. Amazing Ambience with Antique art work... completely a good place to dine with family!

The Fish which I ordered was like a plate of Halwa.. so well cooked and well presented.<br/>Had Tandoori kebab, an awesome flavoured starter. any non veggie should try this out for sure. Still I have the taste in my mouth. Don't try this place if you are a pure veggie I would say.

This place is good only for ambiance and order ! Not for buffet. The taste is not that good in buffet though there are variety 👍🏼 service is better but a best place for taking pictures with friends since it has got the innovative and creative interior.

We ordered mutton vartha kari, grilled fish, chicken Monica, chicken biryani, naans and pollachi chicken gravy.<br/><br/>Mutton vartha kari - it was soooo delicious and was very lite.<br/><br/>Grilled fish with Peri Peri sauce - this dish was mind blowing, the fish just melted in the mouth, it was very juicy.<br/><br/>Chicken Monica - though dish was not there in the menu as far as we knew, we asked if they can make us this dish and they were so courteous to do so but it was a let down.<br/><br/>Chicken biryani - it was normal.<br/><br/>Naan - Naan was fresh and smooth.<br/><br/>Pollachi Chicken - it tasted good like a home made gravy.<br/><br/>We should have sticked with the starters.<br/><br/>My suggestion would be to go on with the starters as they have various varieties.

Went to slaves along with my friend who is a hardcore foodie.  unexpectedly, he fell in love with their south Indian food. I had Thai curry which was pretty good too. What I liked about this place is their friendliness to the extent, the owner sat with us and had a good chat with us, cracking jokes, like a good old friend. Lovely and handsome chap! oops I said it!

By far the best restaurant I've been to in Coimbatore.  When I planned to visit them, I was not sure as I have not heard much about them. Just knew they have been there in Pollachi for a long time. <br/>Food was soooo yummy, especially mutton sukka and ghee paratha, best ever! Spoke to owner,he said they are going to become more south indian focussed restaurant pretty soon with new brand name!  I think this is going to be a landmark place in coimbatore in the near future provided they keep up the same food quality and service.

I went to try the lunch buffet at The Slaves and they had introduced their new Thai cuisine. Starting off with a Fruit feast strawberry melon salad and after that, we enjoyed the Thai chicken curry and the spicy Devil Leg prepared for us by Chef Prabu. Also loved the ambience.

Really loved the food. The special veg side dish they made us was superb. One Mr. Ganesh (I think) who spoke to me on the phone was very helpful and executed my instructions perfectly. A suggestion to the chef would be to cut marinated panner by half and then smoke it (for smoked panner) so that there will be more flavour in each piece.

The distinct coconut flavour along with the delicate touch of heat from the red chilli showed off great authentic thai flavours... Had ordered a side of stir fried vegetables that also hit the Thai flavour notes perfectly... Carrots, beans, baby corn strips, golden corn, broccoli, mushrooms and cottage cheese flavoured with grated coconut and spices...<br/><br/>Finished it all off with my favourite... Hot brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream garnished in chocolate sauce... All in all... Wonderful experience... Again 😊
