Review Sri Meenakshi Chettinadu Mess - Coimbatore

Briyani is less quantity. It's like half plate. Taste is ok. <br/>Pepper chicken is not Chettinad style. Bcz full of soy sauce. Expected a cheddinad style instead.

Very very spicy of my food order.. Any one don't food order this hotel cheating my food order..

We have ordered grill chicken. But they gave Parotta. We call to hotel and ask them this not we have ordered you have sent wrongly but they not responding properly. They Spoke bad words. Management is Not fit for business. They don't know how to treat the customer.

You order for Egg Kothu Parotta, they deliver afternoon leftover Kuska which is pathetic. And for kadai paneer, you get some panner nonsense masala!

Ordered 8 parottas.. got gravy only for 4 parottas.. and I gave cooking instruction which he did not see and keep it...

I love the mutton kudal gravy from here. wow its so tasty juicy .. and yummy<br/>

I ordered a Vazhai Elai Parotta and Mutton Soup yesterday. After having them both, I suffered stomach pain for the entire night and lost my sleep. Worst quality ever.

I have taken parcel of vanjaram fish and charged 190rupees, they are selling stale fish and it's not at all vanjaram. Its keluthi barely costs 40rupees, they are selling as vanjaram fish for high cost. Pls be genuine with business velan chettinad mess. Because of eating this fish we got health issue.

Different food was delivered, not the ordered one. This is the second time it's is happening. The hotel Sri Velan Chettinad has been delivering wrong and stale foods for a long time. Disappointing.

I ordered chicken fried rice but the taste was horrible I just kept one mouth that's it very worst no spicy at all

I odered vazai ilai mutton gravy parrota but received chichken gravy parrota. I called them but not give a correct information using samalification

Add some gravy for briyani items to be better,

I am writing this review after having food for third time. Tried their special item vazhai ilai varuval parotta, naatu kozhi twice and mutton once. Every time it was dry and the last time it was 3 pieces mutton and the parotta hardly had any gravy in it. It was as good as having plain parotta. Definitely overpriced for your 3 pieces non veg and two pieces parotta<br/>This will be last time having food here as they do not want to improve even after repeated customer feedback.

Fried rice is very horrible in this restaurant.. the rice is not cooked properly. Pls take necessary step so that u<br/>don't lose ur loyal customers<br/>

I had food from the mess directly and via Zomato. The place really had a distinct taste for their dishes. Mutton varieties are very good and spicy.

For idly chuttni and sambar not delivered. Dosa is missing. Worst experience. Don't order in this restaurant. If we call they say sorry by the time 10.00 pm. How to eat idly?? Really worst food and delivery...40 rs dosa missing... Cheat...

Love the taste and delivery, packing was great and food is good too. Food is up to the expectation. Completely satisfied with the food and experience.

Pepper chicken was awesome....spice just blew my brains...had to drink a bottle of water later🤪. They need to improve on their packing material though

I ordered chicken kothu parotta in this hotel.It costed rs.135. The name is only chicken parotta there was only 2 tiny bits of chicken. The egg parotta is around 90 bucks.For these two tiny bits of chicken they charge 45 rs extra. Worst experience from this hotel. The taste was okish not too good. It's not worth of money. Only gravy are of MEDIUM TASTE. Please do not order anything here other than gravy items otherwise you will regret it.P.S.The gravies such as chettinad ,pallipalayam also consists of only 5 pieces for 125 rs .Choose wisely.

Really super I support your hotel but my favourite dish was mutton kudal pepper gravy wow awesome taste because I am from chettinadu my native karaikudi

Friends I tried this<br/>hotel yesterday namely sree velan mess near hopes.it was really awesome. It doesn't have any special ambience ant it was a typical middle range hotel. But the taste was thaaru maaru thakkali soru. the hotel was specialized in parotta and it cost 15 rs per piece and they are serving with both chicken and veg gravy. Gravies were really awesome and the special dish to taste their was vaazhai izhai chicken parotta, vaazhai izhai mutton and kudal followingly. They are preparing the dish in unique manner by placing a chicken or mutton stuffs in-between two parottas and mixing it with gravies and wrapping with babana leaf and kept in steam for 15 to 20 minutes. After that they are serving as a bundle wrapped with banana leaf. Once u taste it definitely it ll be treat to ur taste buds. U can feel smell and taste of banana leaf and the parotta become so softer than b4. The rate was little high. Around 100 to 130 rs. But one set is more than enough for one person. Plsss try it when u found time.

Everything is awesome except for the biriyanis...never order biriyani here.....the rest of the food are fantabulous...grill is fine....but go for it if you want curries and Kothu parotta

It is situated in Masakalipalayam road.<br/>It is a local restaurant. So, you can't expect an AC room or cushioned chairs.<br/>Parotta is fabulous and the Mutton kuruma will be ravishing.<br/>I had ordered Mutton Biriyani.  There was very less rice in the biriyani and the meat was very tough, and the meat tasted old. It wasn't served hot.<br/>Also I have ordered goat brain, which is fine.

owner and staff are very caring.. they neither speak hindi or englisgh but we went on recommendation of a friend.. had mutton chettinad, biryani and rotis.. <br/>great quality.. ambiance isn't what your woud want with your date.. but its a mess afterall..
