The menu offered here is very vast . Bring your gang to try their vast food varieties . The quantity offered is really sufficient. We ordered Nasi Gorenga and Ninhao Special Noodles . Noodles was not spicy as mentioned but both tasted really good.Phuket fish was good too.The outer layer of bao was little thick and had less chicken fillings . Beverages were really amazing !!

Wanted to have good Chinese cuisine food and hence visited Ninhao restaurant. Ambiance was good and have a large space to accommodate people. We started with soup and starters. The soup portion was high and the starters quantity was also high. Soup and starters were good we’ve ordered 2 in veg(veg fried wonton and Mushroom fry) and 2 in non veg(Dragon chicken and Thai fish). Lastly we’ve ordered main course Chinese chopsuey and it’s quantity was also large. While leaving our tummy was filled and we liked the food.

The food is good but not the best. The atmosphere and the service is great.

Love the Chinese food and ambience. This place is usually quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful. Best part about this restaurant is they serve really quick and sometimes, we will have to ask the waiters to slow down. This is our go to place for Asian food. Prices are nominal and the quantity is usually more.

Late afternoon Friday lunch was a mixed bag. The host insists that name and phone # be declared prior to seating. Seated in a dimly lit segment. The servers enthusiasm and fast service got us prepped. Chicken sweet corn was warm and flavorful. Burnt garlic rice and gravy fish was a well done. Portion size are big. Chicken momos were disappointing with stuffing that had bones. Fresh lime soda was timely. Chef pankaj has flavors right and can inprove.

Ninhao is one of my favourite places. Mostly we would order via Zomato/Swiggy. Their portion size is quite filling for 2 people. Recently we visited the place to hv dinner. We ordered chicken noodle soup which was served hot and very filling.. but sadly couldn't take a picture as we were too excited and hungry to dig in. Appetizers Lipen chicken and Pork Fuyong was absolutely yummy , and again served in plenty that we had no room for rice or noodles. My kid is a big fan of their Blue Heaven

I have visited couple of times to this restaurant but i was not disappointed at any times. Staffs are more courteous, they will suggest must try product to try it out. Nice ambiance, good hospitality, and little pricey too... If you want to try chinese foods you can try this restaurant without hesitation...

Ordered momos and fried rice. Took half an hour for them to serve momos, that too after few reminders. Finally gave up on fried rice after about 45 minutes. Momos weren't good. I have had better for 40 ruppes.

Good fresh food and great taste...

The food isn't great. It's way too expensive for the quantity being served. The service was also bad. Takeaway taste was horrible. They also accepted orders although the items weren't available. There are far better chinese restaurants in town!

I ordered Li Min (Quick) it's a combo item contains salad, chicken manchurian and hakka noodles this is my 1st experience in this restaurant. Noodles taste like non other than our raggi seamiya, too oily . Manchurian is good finally salad 2 pieces of cumber and 2 pieces of tomato

The picture says it all. Ordered a take away: Wang Yong, and to my horror there was an 'unwanted element' in my food. A fried cockroach. The hygiene of this restaurant is pathetic. I am still grossed out about Chinese food altogether because of this disgusting scaring experience. If someone can comment relevant health inspection office number, I would gladly make this reach them

I guess ninhao already carries a good impression from the Chinese food lovers. Although from my past experience I dint see it feel it as a standout stop but lately when we had dined in their much attractive new setup, the food was just off the roof mind blowing. We had some amazing mix Thai rice and a pork starter. It was best for an evening craving.
Guys, Don’t think twice and just head down coz that pocket wont need to shell much for their serving size. I would definitely stop by again soon to try more. Go food frenzie!!! Enjoy!!

Very bad customer service. We went around 10:00 P.M. yesterday and restaurant was empty. We asked whether the A.C was on since it felt hot, the manager I believe ( a guy in black dress) acted like A.C is too much to ask for and said he will switch on the table fan and the A.C will take few minutes to cool. After some time i felt no change in the temperature and argued to them about it. He then said he will switch on the A.C and then told me A.C was not working. I told them we pay for experience in restaurant and not just the food. The manager was nonchalant about the entire thing and acted as if asking for A.C is too much and that we shouldn’t have come at this time.

It's quite an interesting place, ambience is spot on, staff are extremely friendly, we ordered noodles, fried rice pork and chicken, the cook on the food was good, we all agreed that the pork was the best that we ever had in our life, the food choices were also great,I criticized the pork for having to much fat, they immediately changed it
Why only 4 starts,- except 1 or 2 people the rest of the staff are clueless, the noodles had HUGE pieces of ginger and our drink didn't have ice in it
Do I recommend this place ?
Yes,
I will be back, hungry for more

Ambience : 5/5
Food quality: 4/5
Food quantity: 4/5
Prices : 4/5

Dropped in on Diwali, no reservations made in advance. The place was practically empty considering its a religious holiday. All the better for us. We wanted a quiet family dinner and that's exactly what we got.

Compared to the old place, the new establishment is MUCH MUCH nicer. The old one had a funky smell, a weird smothering atmosphere. The new establishment on NSR road, above Reliance Trends, is spacious, has a wall of glass to let people view the busy street downstairs, pleasing yellowish lights and a theme of red, yellow and black.
The entrance was beautifully decorated with lanterns and a very elaborate entryway.
Tastefully decorated. Good service.

We had the Mountain Treasure Supreme Soup, which was a thick (not thin, as the menu suggests) broth of shitake, black and oyster mushrooms. It was pretty mildly flavored. 3.5/5

Hong Kong Gobi - basically cauliflower pakora, haha. Nothing too major. Served with a sweet and spicy chilli sauce. 4/5

Vegetable Momos - served steaming hot, as it should be. Could use a bit of seasoning in the stuffing. Otherwise, well-cooked, tasty. 3.5/5

Sozo Pot Rice - garlic and herbal rice flavoured GENEROUSLY. This was the redeeming dish. Tossed in crushed black pepper, delicious by itself. Served with vegetables in white sauce. Mild but with a peppery kick. PERFECT main dish. Absolutely loved it! 5/5

After our first (pretty miserable) experience at the old establishment, I was skeptical to come here.
I guess we had gone on a bad day, the first time. We were pleasantly surprised this time around and I think you can expect us back sometime else!

Good restaurant.... But when i did an online order via zomato one of the item was misplaced. Hope this gets rectified with further orders. Also amount is not refunded. When asked they pointed Zomato for money issues. Hope at least Zomato would answer my query and refund the money in wallet
Antony Gladius
less piece and too much gravy

I found the food to be horrible, spicy, AC not working well and the service was the worst in my experience eating out so far. Korean chicken, phad thai, nasi goreng, Chinese tea were a few we ordered that were terrible! I don't write much reviews but could not resist this one:-( Total waste of money and spoilt the occasion for which I was invited, sorry! I will never ever go this place again!!

Nin Hao-one of the few chinese restaurants in Coimbatore. We had Dragon chicken,Paneer thaichin,Chicken fuyong,Chinese chopsuey, Egg noodles,Brownie with ice cream and cold coffee.Though the pricing is on the higher side, the quantity of food they provide matches it especially for the main course. Both the appetizers were good. They were not too flavoury nor too bland. The taste was perfect. The chichken fuyong is nothing but a chicken omlette and is overpriced.Nothing special about it.I liked the Chinese chopsuey very much whereas the noodles was a normal one we get every where.Coming to the desserts, the cold coffee tasted good but was way too overpriced definitely not worth the money. Brownie with ice cream was good. The appetizers are great here but the main course and desserts needs improvement.Their ambience was great and unique.Service was decent.
Appetizers-4.5/5
Main course and desserts-3/5
Pricing-3/5
Ambience-5/5
Service-3.5/5
(P.S-I would like to give it a 3.5 but new zomato update doesnt allow that so 3)
I had recently been to ds place after suggestion from a frnd. Easy to locate with good parking; this place is opposite to another food joint lets eat meat..
The ambience of ds place is too good n so was the food.
We had tried a couple of dishes- in the soups.. chickn manchow soup, meat ball soup and lung Fung soup of which the manchow was outstanding!
We also had few starters of which loved the drums of heaven wd Manchurian sauce!! This is a must try!!!! N i wd definitely come bak to ds place for it..
For the main course v had nin hao special noodles..! N DT was equally good!
The portion size was good..infact huge..so wn u go in a grp u dnt have to order many dishes... Also it is not too pricey for the quantity and d quality..

Ps: If u r a momo fanatic...do try dem too! Dey serve almost 7/plate!

I have been a regular at Nin Hao for quite some time.Good quantity and taste.Rated 3 because on three occasions I took away noodles n found pieces of wire in them to my dismay.Coincidence is fine but not on three counts ! I have since stopped visiting them!

Everything in this place is done to make it look textbook Chinese.. the decor, lighting and the people. The first thing on my mind seeing this was the retro Chinese eatery from the new Ghostbusters movie. The lighting wasnt that good giving it a dull look. We were two and the place was peaceful, for it was quite unoccupied.
Two different menus on the hand and one of them said continental for some reason. I like to have a lot of options to choose from and they both did and sometimes overlapped. The pricing is moderate, so one could very well try them all.
We decided on the dry "Schezwan pork" first and Schezwan never disappoints, flavourful and spicy. The meat was a little bit chewy for me but it was great otherwise. "The chicken momos" were good but i would have liked them to be steaming hot. The "Thai prawn curry" was simply awesome. It was a generous portion, the meat was perfect and packed with heat. It was a perfect side to the "Chicken flat noodles". The noodles were again an ample portion, with a good amount of meat in it. They were very satiating, i got filled up very fast.
Service was appreciable.

Taste of Chinese drove me to this place. Interiors give u a feeling of China. Slightly dim lit but neat.
The staffs are well mannered and pleasant. Probably cos they are from the NE.
Food part... the manchow soup was nice. Chicken in Schezwan Sauce was perfect. Flat noodles was less spicy but authentic Chinese might be that way. We are used to Chinese with Indian touch.
Not too heavy for the pocket too. Can come back for more.

One of the first few restaurants in Coimbatore who opened up their doors specifically for Chinese food.I used to come here when I was a kid and started getting used to Chinese food though it wasn't 100% authentic but they follow the old school Chinese method which is really good.I haven't been to this place since a long time but recently I came here for a takeaway, their décor hasn't changed much just some furniture up gradations and the menu has some new additions.I like their Chinese paintings hung up over walls and the bright yellow lights making the ambience feel good.

Well,I had ordered for Veg Wanton soup,Finger fish,Chicken in Schezwan sauce,Chicken Flat noodle and Egg noodle.I made the order through phone and they asked me to get the food after 45 minutes.I came on time and the food was already ready.

The soup had a stringent aroma of the herbs well balanced with the wanton dumpling which was steamed perfectly. The finger fish was crisp and coated in a thin layer marination.

For the main course, the Schezwan chicken was a good combination for the noodles.A thick less spicy sauce with soft boneless chicken pieces in it.Both the hoodies tasted equally good with ample quantity for 3-4 people

If you are bored of trying the fancy Chinese restaurants in town, you can pay a visit here for a change

Ambiance, food, and service. In that order was my experience here. This place is located on NSR road, the signage is not very clearly visible from the road. We followed where gmaps led us and was spot on. Parking wasn't an issue, the streets adjacent and opposite have ample space and can fit in even durig peak hours.

On a hot summer chose to go here for lunch. We were three and the place was empty when we entered. The place is calm, dim and the table room is maintained ambient and cold. The walls were well done with flaunting decors and the ceiling was tall enough to enhance the hangings. Seats and cushions were suitably placed and the table was spacious enough to bear the traffic of food! This place could house upto around 40 people. It's however mean when it comes to privacy. The tables could be a little well spaced, the sofas were literally placed a chair width away from each other, double that would do just fine.
We went here in the middle of a food marathon, having eaten mostly sweets and pastries since morning, we longed for some spice and hot food. They serve a decent range of Chinese and Thai. They're famous for the seafood and deep fried starters. Its sad that veg momos were not available. Started off the with a simple hot and sour soup that disastrously ended up over spicy with excess oil. Couldn't finish one bowl, the three of us! For main course had a spicy Thai rice that was a simple Thai rice with tossed veggies like broccoli and more broccoli. Couldn't find many other vegetables in there, but it tasted flawless. Authenticity is something I wouldn't comment on and it was no close to Thai, but the flavour was optimum and I couldn't believe it came from the same kitchen that soup came from. Kudos. Already too full to eat anymore we called it a meal with a green apple mojito which was decent with flavoured soda with a lime wedge.
The staff and the attitude they threw was disappointing, and however good the food was, couldn't make up for their actions. I suggest the management to look into training them to suit the profession.
I'd be glad to explain the management in person on the issue if it would do them any good.

Complains apart, to summarise this is one of the better pan Asian (or partially pan Asian) dine ins that is capable of serving great food. If you know what to eat here, this could be an Asian cuisine destination in cbe.

Food- 3/5
Ambiance - 3.5/5
Service - 3/5
Reception - 0/5

This place can be treated lik a regular go place since its cost effective and the quantity they serve really is more than enough... Ambience is also good and taste wise also its satisfactory

Its been there since I was a kid.,eating here brings back old memories.,food 🍴 is good here but they are not as good as they are before I think they need to make some changes as now there are a lot of Chinese restaurants nearby, lipin chicken is my favourite here.

Visited this place with my brother on a heavy-rain day. Ambience is good. Food was too good. I loved the Chow chow rice with chicken and dragon chicken. Best place for hungry-as-hell times.

Was waiting to review for long time. First I went to Ninhao about 4 yrs ago. Coimbatore was not listed in Zomato. The taste was so authentic that I was waiting from that time to review it.

I haven't gone to china but I felt Chinese authenticity in the food they serve.

My favourite was Crispy rice chicken soup, Thai chicken, sumai chicken and Nin hao special fried rice.

Crispy rice soup - 5/5. I think there is no such soup anywhere in Coimbatore. Rice fried, Crispy added in the soup - was luscious and when it blends with the hot soup it gets puffed up, it serves its purpose to taste buds.

Sumai chicken - 5/5, lil spicy, Crispy dry, they serve huge quantity that two big eaters and one small kid, can only then finish it off. Tatsy, yummy .

Nin hao spl. Fried rice - 5/5 - perfect Chinese rice with full fried egg over the top with human and spicy soup kinda gravy with appealing chicken dropped in the gravy. Must try.

Egg fried rice ,my fav. Dish in here. I can easily see the difference between indianised version of fried rice and authentic rice. Again must try.

Avg cost / head - Rs.250

* kindly suggest the level of spiciness while ordering based on your limits.
Update: Wrt home delivery they have their own free delivery. I ordered recently and got it delivered hassle free and on time. I had a good experience. Food was fresh and hot. Packing is done in silver/alu foil neatly. If you guys bring up your own packaging box it will be amazing !

Ambience - 4/5 - its neat and clean. But can improve a lot.
Overall - 4.5/5
