This comment is after meeting Mr. Kamal Verma in personal. What a man, I am having best moments of my life. Great hospitality. I highly recommend this place.

Pathetic service. They couldn't serve two tables in an empty restaurant. The best dish they served was mediocre at best. The seafood was stale, chicken lasagna wasn't fresh either. Don't go by the reviews, wouldn't ever go here again.
Arushi
Amazing food and ambience ❤️❤️❤️

Owner tries to befriend and recommeded some signature dishes. We ordered Thai chilli potato, pizza.
Thai chilli potato was blend and didnt taste well.
Utkarsh Tiwari
My experience here can be described as sub-par at best. The service was extremely slow and the staff is complacent. We had to wait for 2 hours for one dish to be prepared at a time when the restaurant only had two tables to serve. Now coming to the food, it was absolutely shocking. Non vegetarian food (especially the fish) wasn't fresh at all. The food in general was bland, and very ordinary. Coupling slow service with uninspired food, its only a matter of time till they shut the shop.

Food taste not good at all, not worth at all

The food quality is bad.Owner kept on blabbering and he did not provide any privacy. do Not visit the restaurant .
Suman Roy
Liked the way the chef himself was talking with us to get us to try their signature dishes. While one of his recommendation (Spanish sangria with strawberry base) turned out to be splendid, the other one(Thai fish) was bland. We also ordered pasta, pizza, xec xec crab and Vietnamese chicken with cashew and nuts. Food was very good.
SHARANG
Saw ratings online and visited the place. Food was not at all good. Sea food was bearable but other dishes were so blant and ok ok. Paid 3895 so food was not worth the price.
Yogesh Khot
Very disappointed with the food. We ordered for Afghani chicken kabab. In the description it was given as drumsticks but they gave something else.We had ordered cheese pasta which was of 290 and they charged extra 80 for cream which we didn't had told them to put.Not the taste of master chef . I don't suggest to go.Thank you.

Nice place with tasty food and hospitality personal)) highly recommended

We were looking for a reasonable place to eat near majorda & found this place on zomato. Excellent service & gr8 food. Honey chilli potatoes which i had there were amazingly light, the best I have ever had at that price. Noodles were great. We tried the feni too for first time but you need to build that taste with time. The waiter was polite, owner also attended to us & was very receptive. Only flaw was furniture. Most of the sofa benches were torn or faded & gave a bad look. Overall, must try for food.
just now

After seeing so many feedback we went to experience the food. The chef comes personally and talks really big. But honestly speaking the food is very average and pricing is very high. The ambience is below mark. The menu is extremely hyped and the food is just the opposite. They are all sweet talks and zero service. For a dish wirth 880 you need to ask for salt..onion.In all it was a bad experience.

A review of the experience that was @spicybellagoa 😍
.
.
Rarely do I start my posts with desserts coz its the end, but I have reversed the orders because the dessert, I mean just look at them. 😋
.
.
Had the following -
1) Hello to The Queen (chocolate fun)
2) Good Evening Paris (Appleciuos)
3) Non-Veg Cannelloni
4) Squid with herbs (My god!!)
5) Cheese prawn balls
6) Creamy Tomato Basil Soup(I just tasted it a bit)
7) Red Wine 🤫
.
.
Every dish was just upping the Masterchef's abilities to produce a masterpiece.
.
.
And I have always values the taste more than the presentation because at the end of the day, its food.
.
.
These were both instagram worthy and man, were they delicious!!
.
.
A high high recommendation if you are near colva beach.
.
.
I hope you get Ajay to help you out in the restaurant, he was very very friendly
.
.
#food #foodporn #foodie #instafood #foodphotography #yummy #delicious #instagood #foodstagram #love #foodblogger #foodlover #foodgasm #like #healthyfood #dinner #foodies #restaurant #tasty #follow #lunch #eat #healthy #photooftheday #homemade #bhfyp #breakfast #picoftheday #cooking #delicious

After being disappointed at a couple of places in the area, this place was a great relief. Ordered Indian food and quality and taste were all good. They use only wheat flour, even in nan, so extra points for that. Ambiance is nice. Situated 3-4 mins walking distance from the beach. Also, the caretaker uncle were very courteous.

I would like to review this place a 4* out of 5. I would like to specially mention Mr. Ajay, he is more then 60 years old but he is active like a teenager, he engages with the customers like a restaurant owner does. Meeting Mr. Ajay today was a gem, who is working so diligently, devoted to the work. Coming to food now. We ordered prawn richado masala and salmon fish fry with roti. Food was good and decent. Interior was very beautiful and romantically decorated.. must visit once for Mr Ajay.
Chetan
The Best and the most peaceful place in whole goa to have a perfect dinner/lunch/breakfast/drinks.

Amazing Dum Biryani... They Actually Steam the Biryani Before Serving... Recommended for Everyone..
Samanvith Mulpuri
I, with a friend visited this place recently. The staff are soo friendly with us, I met Mr. Ajay he engaged us all the time we spent there like we have known each other very well. The master chef visited us and the other customers too asking if the food was good and if there is anyway he can improve to make it taate better. That was very cool that they actually take the customer suggestions directly.

So, my rating for Hospitality is 6/5*. Seriously, my experience was beyond expectations and I'm more than happy to visit them again.

The ambience is pleasant ans well maintained, with the location of the restaurant by the beach, a complete bar and the musical nights too are available here, with outdoor seating. My rating for Ambience is 5/5.

Coming to the food, I had Cheese prawn balls, when I heard the name I expected them too cheesy especially inside, but was disappointed to find out they just put the cheese over the prawns balls. The quantity of cheese they used to okayish but if they cooked it with the prawns marinated with cheese it will taste the best. The Fish Vindaloo and the butter rice they served made me vitness the pure Goan cuisine. It was the best I have had in Goa till now.

We also ordered Sashi Chicken Dum Biryani, the quantity, the appearance or decoration and the way a Biryani is cooked is great but there's something lacking in it when it comes to aroma and taste. We realised that we should have skipped the Biryani and try something from the seafood since the restaurant ia famous for Goan, Portugese, Thai cuisines. My experience with food was not that impressive during thia visit so it would like to rate it 3/5* and 2/5 for Biryani.

The prices seems to be quite high for such a casually maintained place with no air-conditioning. For certain items it was too high and my rating for the price is 3/5

Most of the items in the menu are not available at the restaurant as they said it was off season. So we couldn't try many things and had an average experience. But if one visiting here in prime times would definitely enjoy the day. Though my overall experience is 3.5* and its not worth a 4, I'm leaving 3/5 in Zomato, but I strongly recommend this place for someone who would definitely like trying different cuisines.

Steer clear of this place if you are at Colva. The food is pathetic, service even more so. Not even the pizza was palatable. The chef asked us to come back the next day for a free meal but we passed. Bad experience especially on a holiday :(
Clyde Dsouza
Im giving 5 stars because it deserves 5 star, exceptional food, spicy very spicy but it is tasty very tasty. Loved the flavours , ambience , the staff, the owners , all were so nice and friendly. If you are in this area you should try this place out definitely.
Mansi Jain
Food was horrible. We ordered some veg food and it didn't turn out good at all. The rating for this place is highly overrated. Please avoid this place for veg food
Aditi
Although we went in the off season and very selected items were available from the menu, we ordered a Malaysian paneer tikka suggested by the restaurant staff and it was more than delicious. The flavour was just right. The restaurant is located a little off the main street to the Colva beach but was easy to locate. A nice and cosy place with courteous staff. Overall, an unexpectedly pleasant experience. Would love to visit again!

We went here for lunch ,the place was nice. Service is very slow. Starters were not upto the mark. Squids were not fresh. Biryani and Thai rice was really good.
This is one of the best place in South Goa to try out authentic Goan cuisine and other sea foods. Very well decorated interiors. Try out the chef recommendations, you won't be disappointed.

Awesome taste 😋 + great service 😊 = perfect place 😀
Would recommend everyone to visit at least once.
Thai Fish fry and Chicken xacuti (Thai flavour) was awesome.
Must visit restaurant in South goa.

Superb food, prompt service. Friendly staff. Must visit when in the south. Had the black salmon with spinach sauce, salmon curry and squid masala fry all the dishes were exceptional..
Clara Patrick
One of best places to have Goan food the chef is very passionate about food I tired squids which were one of the best and the fish curry was awesome 10 on 10
Rohan Da Costa
A must try with the best chef dishes in town... they offer a great combo of starters and main course... people who have gone there will not regret. They have all kind of dishes from Indian to come continental to chefs special which is like the cream on the cake.
Jasmeen
Spicy Bella is an average place with no A.C n more like some banquet hall n very low food quality .we ordered lemon water for kids n it turned out to be some brown coloured bitter drink ... Thai Curry was more like spicy Veg Korma n chicken was also average ... Our experience with this resturant was sad ..
Manoj Katariya
If electricity goes ...no generator no inverter and please be prepared for that ambiance is ok ... also price is very comparatively high... quality is ok service is ok...

The service is extremely slow, the waiters don't have any knowledge about the dishes, the dessert we ordered was made of Britannia cake and was not worth it.
Akshat Karnani
Out of all the dishes, only one dish that was Thai based was good and different. Everything else was pretty average if not below. The service too was very slow
Vipul Agrawal
The food was really delicious the Dal makhani (spicy) was too daam tasty and kadai panner was also awesome....😘 And it's quite expensive but it's ok for one day

Amazing place located in a good location near to beach.
Ambience was so much good.
Staff & service was awsome.
I had tried many dishes over there 5* for food.
Specially Rajasthani thali was super class...
Must try..
A unique place located in the vicinity of colva beach serving mouthwatering food and drinks in a cozy ambiance. One of the best pizzas I have had in years was at this place. Designed and made with passion and love by award winning master chef Kamal Verma, this place is a must visit for the tourists and locals of Goa.
Pranav Nadkarni
The place has a decent layout, and is one of the rare places to serve Rajasthani and Gujarati thalis along with other menu. The chef, I was told, has over 10 years experience in the culinary art.
We had the green thai curry. It was a bit on the spicier side but sufficient for 2 people. One extra serving on rice was required though.
Kuldeep Shankar
Amazing food, ambience, staffs. Best place in colva by far this is a must visit place and one must visit this place if you are staying in colva 😍

Decent food. A little slow but works.! Good tandoori chicken and very delicious dal. Can’t say about sea food. Would not recommend if you are in a hurry! Otherwise its great!
Nishit Kunal
Lovely ambience. I personally prefer visiting a place which is not so crowded, which was definitely the case here. Ordered Paneer Roganjosh and tawa roti and the former was brilliant. The paneer properly blended with the gravy and simply melted. The food items were extremely worth the money. Will recommend if you ever visit Colava.
Supriya Chakraborty
Warm and friendly place.. Worth a visit.. Though the order takes time but its worth the wait.. Right from mocktails to main course all dishes were super yummy.. Courteous staff too... Will surely visit again

The ambience and the food were wonderful. The staff was courteous, polite and ever ready to help. A must place to try. Paneer Tikka was awesome.

Awesome food and great humble owner and staff. Good experience. Nonveg food was too great as my friends said and great location to have food at with view of colva beach.
Got misguided by the reviews on zomato.

A disappointing experience at the first food joint i landed in south goa. Prawn and baby corn mushrooms and hakka noodle are the ones what we ordered. Prawn was cold and not that great ad goan sea food should be. Babycorn was mediocre. Hakka noodle was well garnished but dint meet my expectations.

A simple but good restaurant in colva. Has a good menu offering various dishes. Ambience is fine. Sadly there were no other customers when we visited. I usually like to visit places which are lively and have a lot of people walking in. Food was delicious. We enjoyed everything we ordered for. Also happened to meet the owner, nice guy that!
Ritul K Bora
I had the horrible misfortune of visiting this restaurant. Not worth a visit. It is hot & stuffy. There is no air conditioning. The Chef was rude beyond words. When I asked the waiter if they had pork on the menu ,The Chef kept on repeating that it was an international restaurant and turned upset for no reason.
Meghanakakade01
Simply loved the food and the chef ofcourse as he was the best host can go again n again only hygienically it had to improve and keep the washrooms clean

Must visit restaurent when in south goa, had my most tastiest meal out of 6 days in goa here, met the chef Mr Verma who is very friendly and make awesome food, we had sweet chilly potatoes, chilly paneer, kadai paneer and paneer platter and all of them were awesome, thanks forthe wonderful food!
please go if near colva beach.
Ankita Samal
My friend and I are tourists who came across this place while visiting Colva Beach. It has a peaceful ambience with beautiful interior. The hotelier and staff were welcoming and polite. Great Hospitality! :) Food is amazing, Murgh Mussallam dish is a must try!
Gokul Maheshwari
The ambience : was empty when we went. Ambience was ok, more like a sophisticated Udupi.

Service: slow. These guys are understaffed. The guy who made Mojito was good. He was diligent and made perfect Mojito.

Food: good. Honey chili potato was sweet. Paneer rojanghosh was ok. Drinks menu was limited. Margarita pizza was super, so was penne in pink sauce (for kids, which they enjoyed). Dal was good.
Jatin
We went to check out the restaurant ,the owner introduced himself as MasterChef and asked us to check out his hall of fame. He was boasting about himself and we fall into the trap.He also mentioned that each and every dish will be a fresh preparation.
After listening to all this We had ordered chicken mussallam,it was a take away order. After tasting it we found that the dish only had the taste of chilly infact lot of chillies. The dish was not having any taste other than chilly.
Our stomach got upset the next day coz of this dish and the day was spoiled.
Eat at it own risk.

Must visit if you're a foodie and are in Colva... The chef is super friendly and makes amazing food... Been visiting Spicy bella from the time when it was in Palolem. Must try the Chicken Hot signorina pizza (spicy alert). Actually, pretty much everything here tastes divine.

Food was really good, so was the service at the hotel. Goan fish fry, other fish items and cocktails we tried from there. It was near to the resort we stayed so was an easy and good choice.

After we were done we tried to pay via card, their machine wasn't accepting cards. We paid by cash and then I checked my phone t amount was deducted from my account as well. I showed them the message and asked for a refund
Lady at the counter was like " this has happened with us before also and money will credited to your account or else let us know we will pay you back". It did take a lot of calls but they did pay us back. Appreciate that team spicy Bella

Excellent food , Must visit if you are near to Colva beach , we ordered Veg Biryani & murg Mussalam . both dishes were delicious. Thanks to chef Mr Verma ..

VERY GOOD VEG FOOD HAD TRIED DIFFERENT DISHES BUT ALL OF THEM EXTRA ORDINARY . CANT GET BETTER VEGETARIAN FOOD IN SOUTH GOA THAN SPICY BELLA. MR. KAMAL IS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPS IN TRYING DIFFERENT DISHES . OVER ALL VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.
Sabyasachi Das
Excellent food. Must recommended for people travelling to south Goa. King fish, Pomfret, Prawn are to be tasted. Nice ambience and staff are very cordial.
AP
Average place hyped up by the self proclaimed master chef. Service sucks, food is good to average. Ambience lacks air conditioning for Goan weather. Lots of spelling mistakes on the menu which may not be a big deal, such as spelling chef as shef, but when you call your self a master chef, pride should be taken in all these things.
Sunny Sharma
We met the chef himself kamal verma. The staff is so polite and nice. The food is top notch. Amazing taste, great quality and nice lovely ambience. Definitely should try this place once when you are in south go!!

Last week I had been to the place with my family and friends. Thanks master chief Kamal Verma for the warm welcome. This is a must go place if you are staying in colva area. penne arabbiata paste was superb having a good flavour of cheese. I liked fish recheido and fish in Thai sauce the most. Garlic naan is simple and superb. kabab were well cooked, tender and moist.

We arrived here famished and exhausted around 4.30 for lunch from colva beach in search of some good seafood. We were served by Mr Hemang and Ms Sunita. Ordered vindaloo fish gravy with rice along with murg banjara kebab. The fish gravy was the right mix of spice and totally amazing with the rice. The chicken was so soft and well cooked . The service was superb and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend this place if you are anywhere near colva or betalbatim during your goa trip.
Lavanya Narayan
Niranjan Sathyamurthy and I came there during our day trip to Colva. The food and drinks are to die for and the staff are so friendly. A Black Russian (cocktail), the pepperoni pasta salad and the Mexican corn balls are heaven. Visit this place when you’re in Colva!

An awesome experience... one of the best places in South Goa... especially Colva... Not much of options in South Goa... so this was a rare treat for me and my family... Super staff and delicious food. ..the owner... Mr. Kamal
....is very friendly and makes you feel very much at home... Try this place without hesitation

Bang opposite the place we stayed at Colva, Spicy Bella was a good surprise.

We visited this place in off-season on a Tuesday night, and were surprised to be greeted in a very friendly manner.

We chose terrace seating and jumped straight to mains as we didnt have much expectations!

We were both surprised and delighted when the order came -Thai Fried Rice (made a bit spicy on request) and Chicken with Thai Orange sauce (perfect mix of tangy and sweet fhavour). The food was really good.

The dessert "Hello to the Queen" made of baked banana and choco crumble was yum!

Would recommend all to visit atleast once.
This is a new restaurant which definitely surprised my senses. I still remember the taste of spicey pasta, though few may not call it authentic. I met the chef (the owner), he loves cooking and is a master chef. I wish I should have tried this restaurant earlier than last day of my trip or atleaslt should have been more hungry.
Pramila Singh
Amazing food with amazing ambience...must visit if u r at Colva beach. It serves some really good soups, biryani, Mexican and italian food. Service is also excellent.
Foodie Richa
On our first marriage anniversary, we chose this place for dinner as it was near to our resort! I loved the ambience 👍🏻
We had ordered honey chilly potato along with lime water and lime soda. Starter was yummy. Then we had shahi dum biryani which was a bit different than the biryani I tried earlier at different places. It was good but a bit dry. Overall food was delicious.😋
Staff was so courteous that they suggested food as per our requirements. Their master chef Mr Kamal Varma personally took our feedback about the food! That was so impressive. 👏🏻 kudos for that!
If you are a pure vegetarian, this is definitely a recommended place for you!
Savio Malegao
Had been to this newly opened place on 16 Jan with family and friends. Was given a warm welcome by the owner and chef of the restaurant. I choose to sit in the balcony location, however the choice was bad as the lighting was not up to the mark. Just wanted to feel fresh with the open air and not be tied to the air condition settings. Chef made us comfortable also explained the menu. Our order taker (don't remember his name) looked grumpy. We placed he order for the drinks and it was brought very quickly by the server (Savio, great guy). Since we had ordered for 2 beers and we only 2 persons were suppose to have the beer he asked if one beer could be brought later which was a pro active thinking as the beer would get warm if both had to be opened together. Then came the time to order for the starters. We ordered for the rains garlic fry and it was not up to the mark. The only saviour was the non veg platter which had variety of kebabs and the chutney provided was really good. The we ordered the food which was kingfish curry and prawns curry. We ordered this in a semi dry gravy, however the quantity provided was not worth the price you pay for. The only thing that was good is the setup of the location, service wise, Savio our server was the fastest guy. He was just shuffling between different tables and just tried to do his best. Good job.
Would suggest chef to improvise on the sea food cos most people who come to Goa would just love to try the sea food since this is what Goa is famous for.
Vanshika Khanna
Great food, good ambience, very clean, serves fresh and the most welcoming owner and warm staff ever!!! Look for Mr. Savio to serve you. You'll leave fully satiated and with a wiiiide smile!

Went here on a quiet evening between Christmas and New Year. The service is friendly and helpful but not overwhelming. The food I had was very tasty, nicely presented and obviously cooked fresh as did wait some time for the food to arrive. The Afghani kebab was delicious tender and bursting with flavour. The Penne Arrabiatta was subtle and the oregano came through, just felt it was missing maybe some garlic pao. Overall a tasty meal and I would go back even if a bit more pricey than some other restaurants nearby.
Mrudula Kulkarni
Visited for lunch, and found a gem. They have very professional staff, welcoming owner. Coming to the food part - it's a must visit if you are vegetarian and want to explore goan cuisine and say sorry to those paneer dishes. Goan curry is awesome. And veg tempura was delicious too. Quantity and quality both were good.
Value added is they have really posh and very clean ambiance.

Me and my husband had visited this place on a Saturday night. The ambiance was lovely. Here's what we had ordered: hot and sour chicken soup (Tangy and spicy, just the way I like it), and a medium chicken tandoori platter (A platter generous in quantity and variety, and also succulent). There was absolutely no space left for main course or even dessert, we were that full. The service was slightly sluggish, but the delectable food made up for it. The owner, Mr. Kamal Verma, visits each table personally, which is really sweet.

Keep it up.

Been to this place twice during our two day stay at Colva beach, on our first visit we sat on first floor, place is beautifully decorated, this time we were in chilled out mood so we choose to sat on ground floor. They have live seafood counter from where you can choose variety of fish. We had lobster this time it was prepared in Thai sauce and it was amazing, enjoyed it thoroughly with filly loaded cheese garlic naan and Thai fried rice. It was a delicious meal and we will remember the taste for long time.
