The look and feel of this cafe is amazing ! Not only because they decorated it well but also because it is beach facing. You can have your meal while enjoying the beach. There were many shacks at palolem but this one truly won our heart. Despite of the rules to not open cafe after 11pm (due to election) they still served us food, but not liquor because it was not allowed.
We were so hungry so they asked us to wait for sometime and they’ll surely serve us food! They care for their customer. This is one of the amazing things.
We ordered a lot of food. I don’t exactly remember all but it was mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian. And the mouthwatering food took our heart away! It was really delicious.
Thank you team for serving us with best food and amazing memories. ♥️
Nice place to enjoy the beach. Will recommend pasta and coconut Fenny in this place. The ambience and hospitality is good. Avoid eating noodles here.
Had a wonderful experience overall at the shack. Read the review to understand my experience.
The parking is a little further (200-300 metres) from the shack which we were hoping against because we had an 86 year old grandmother in a wheelchair whom we wished to come along. I got off the car and was examining the route to the shack which was full of sand and was wondering how to get the wheelchair through it until I met Gary who waits and serves there. Very humble, honest and helpful guy who was apologetic of how circumstances were against our favor and when I chose to leave.
On my way back to the car I decided to come back only because of Gary who I felt was extremely cooperative. I went back and asked him if it were possible for him and staff to help me carry the wheelchair along with our grandmother to which he instantly agreed. We carried them entirely for 300 metres and through the sand to the shack. It would have been possible without him.
I noticed the shack is a little further from the main Colva beach and is very peaceful and mesmerizing. Menu is vast and while I placed the order, had food and left, Gary was a gem who would help with everything and be cooperative. Food was too good and juices were excellent. Prices are competitive and cheaper than most shacks. The manager (whom I don't remember the name but speaks Marathi) was also very kind. After we were done, Gary helped us carry grandma and wheelchair back on the road and refused to take tip.
We have to understand that food and seating/ambience are huge aspects but staff and hospitality goes a long way with the experience and emotions. I have decided to come to this shack at least once every visit to Goa even if I don't stay close.
