Ashita Suvarna
The food is very tasty😋but the quantity of food is very less.. and the price of the food is very high...Service they provide is good👍

We had lunch there and the place's ambience is not that fancy but sitting is available on the roof top too. They also had outside sitting near the road but I feel the roof sitting is better. We ordered only veg items and all were good. Tandoori items are not available at lunch time as they start tandoor at night only. Also drinks were good. Food quality was excellent and I really enjoyed the food. Prices were also reasonable as per other restaurants nearby. If you are lookin for just food and drinks then go for it.

Nice vibe. Enjoyed the food. Staff was really good. Very patient and helpful. We had the Thai curry and steamed rice along with peri peri fries. Fries were nice and crispy, not too oily. Thai curry was good but maybe a bit too much corn starch.
Sunil Fernandez
This is quite to quite close to beach. But the prices are reasonable and the service and food is great. Must try - biryani and prawn masala
Nanda Bellary
Food was quite delicious. Had been with group of friends. I being a vegetarian, ordered veg.
Dominika Dyszy-Fryc
Very testy food! Friendly service and drinks are perfect.

Our saviour after a distasteful Martin's corner outing. We were recommended Portofino by our cab driver. And we are thankful to him. The food was affordable, tasty and served with a lot of warmth. We went back the next day for the beautiful and comforting creme custard.
Debmalya Mukherjee
Good vibes all together with good food quality and very much cost effective Bar . All prices mentioned in the Menu card include GST & VAT That's the BEST thing .
Aavin Fernandes
Good restaurant with reasonable pricing, the owner is really friendly, restaurant has wide range of starters and the items are really delicious
Kutubkhan Indorewala (KKArts)
The vide and the food both are great. The staff and the owner are so warm and welcoming. Food tastes very good. Didn’t indulge in any alcoholic drinks but the mocktails were very good.
Sidharth Saran
A boutique restaurant near Colva which serves both coastal and North Indian cuisine with a great sense of taste. Loved the North Indian chicken curry and the king fish tawa fry with great drink options.
madhuri rumde
We discovered this place towards the end of our trip however the food was delicious we tried prawns rava fry , Goan chonak curry and rice and amazing taste
Gerard Sheppard
Great place to sit and watch the world go by while enjoying good food.

Food was good and pricing was ok, spcl mention for Das who was attending us, he is an asset for the restaurant.

Really had high hopes from the spot due to other reviews. It wasn't bad but didn't meet my expectations. We dropped by around 2 pm and the place was deserted. We were the only ones there. We ordered Chicken Cafreal, Pork Chilly Fry, Prawns Taipei and Triple Schezwan Rice. Everything was extremely average. The Prawns were the standout, compared to others. The service also was very slow. I might go back for the Prawns.

Horrible service, horrible attitude of staff there ...! Discrimination is there one the best quality which they master in ...!! Lair they all are ...!! Horrible ambiance ...! They cheat in the ingredients they use to make food from ...! My self in food and bevrage profession so I can see and understand what they were doing . Bold man sitting at cashier desk claims to be a manger doesn’t have manners at all . Mostly foreigner go there as prices are cheap because food quality and they don’t understand food very well and In there menu hardly any continental dishes are there . Ahhh how I can miss this they made us sit out side restaurant where they have kept table chairs in front of other shop , almost at the end of hour horrible experience shopkeeper owner comes and tell us to get at its late , @ 10:40 pm which is not even there closing time ....!!

Located right on the road leading to Colva Beach, this eatery is nothing too fancy, but serves good food. We loved the prawn curry & rice we had for lunch and the staff were sincere & efficient. Definitely won't mind going back for more.

Restaurant that’s stands out from the crowds of colva, highly suggest this to anyone that’s looking out to dine in in colva side. While you are there try out their garlic sauce squids and their Goan style beef stake 💯 and this strawberry pancakes( the syrup made with love by the owner herself ❤️)
Gulnar Sahi
Walking distance from the Colva beach. Nice restaurant. Has indoor and outdoor seating. The food is great. The staff polite and efficient. The owner Mr Xavier was there making sure everything was in place. A must visit.

I had ordered their Tuna salad via Zomato. It was very soggy and the salad mixed seemed to be very old. The quantity was good for the price no doubt. But it was more salad and mayonnaise and less of tuna.

This place is located exactly 5 mins away from Colva beach (south Goa). Outside seating area is much happening due to Nice ambience all lit up well. Fresh breeze coming from sea makes u feel more fresh. Good service. Food is nice with good quality and quantity as well..

Amazing place in colva especially for its food and ambience. The quantity they serve is amazing.
We tried their fries and chicken satay😍, it was too yummy also the staff is helpful. For amazing experience do visit here in evening, as you will enjoy the food with soothing music.
Snackk_attackk
This place turned out to be surprisingly amazing for me in colva. I just visited here to try the Goan drink that is Cabo, it is a white rum with Coconut flavoured. We had continuous 3 shots of Cuba ,it just tasted like bounty chocolate so please must try this drink.. as it is not at all that strong.
Also the chicken satay was super tasty. The only problem was that the food takes bit time, so do order your food first and then drinks.
Sameer Bhand
worst experience ever...
not at all a place for indians hence you can see reviews from all the foreigners.
owner doesn't bother to ask you for menu or food.
If you are with family this is not at all a place for you.
worst place ever near Colva beach.
Prabhjot Sidhu
Amazing Food. Friendly and well
Mannered staff. No need to say about location. Most important this one is affordable too. If you live near Colva. Do try this one

Was on a short trip to south Goa, got a recommendation for this place so I tried their famous pork crisp. Awesome deep fried crispy pork with slight sweetness and perfectly blended spice. Followed by veg biriyani, I m not a veg fan but wanted to have something light. But this was one of the best veg biriyani I have tasted. Correct amount of gravy and spices.
Tiny feedback- they could have better sound system to soothe the dine and wine.
Place is close to the beach walkable distance and on the road side nice and good place to chill for food and couple of drinks good people to talk. When it says Goan food food should be good which was a bit of problem for me. I had ordered for king fish no doubt it was fresh but lacking of basic flavours.. Chicken cafreal was ok ok 2.5 of 5. The prawns curry was nice and mouth watering 4 of 5 for it. Needwork on the taste a bit more.

This is a charming place, on the road to combs beach (walking distance from the beach). They serve amazing food.
The pasta dishes (ravioli, spaghetti carbonara, seafood pasta) were spot on.they were drop-dead delicious. This is one place where they know how to cook the stuff brilliantly.
The pork chops were perfect as were the ribs. The meat was so tender..it literally fell off the bone!

Ask the servers for recommendations and you will be delighted :)
the portion sizes are really good, fulfilling and one tends to stuff themselves here with such wonderful food!

If anything wasn't great, it was the waiting time between ordering and having the food on the table.

I would definitely (and highly) recommend this place.
Francis Kevin Fernandes
Lovely ambience. The staff was courteous and accommodating. The problem was the food. Again the food was disappointing. Anticipated flavors and great cuisine but came back with dashed hopes.

Visited on May 16, 2018

Visited this restaurant today for dinner with my 12 friends. worst food , even a basic rice not cooked, chicken cafreal was the worst cafreal(after lot of argument this dish was canceled) I had here, biryani was totally dry...service person argument on food was really pissing off factor...there attitude towards customer was like, give money n get off. Not recommended joint at all. Worst is not the end word.

It was a sudden plan to have dinner over here with cousins.... N I must say a place vd good ambiance, food, drinks n live music makes me more happy and relaxed.... Although being a Saturday night it was not crowded n I just loved it.... The service was prompt n serve with curly hair was courteous.... Tysm for amazing night... Vl surely try dessert over as I'm curious, the next time I come back to goa...
Went there for our dinner. Had the following

Jeera rice
Fish Tikka
King prawn curry : had a view of the prawns before being cooked and they were huge. They had 12 prawns on display priced at 1000 bucks. We asked them to prepare it in a spicy Goan curry style and they didn't disappoint. A good quaint restaurant in colva
Prasraban Halder
First of all,the restaurant is biased towards foreigners particularly Russians. Russians were served with priority and Indians were kept waiting. At last, when our food came,it was pretty bad, tasteless and appeared stale. We felt sick after consuming the food. DO NOT VISIT this restaurant.
Jessy@mezegourmet
Located just before the Colva beach this place is casual dining outdoor seating resto-bar. Menu options were alright, taste average but portions were good. The Fish and chips was good. Tried the batter fried calamari, Singaporean noodles, methi chicken, crispy hot chicken. Since its outdoor they need to maintain the hygiene as there were flies snd mosquitoes around.
Mrunal Talwadkar (The Hungry Rider)
This place is situated right near road that leads to colva beach.

Ambience is same as every other restaurant in that area.

They have a vast drinks menu.
But very few veg menu
What we ordered

Calamari butter garlic fry
Pot rice
Naan
Mushroom peas gravy

Nothing much to comment about the restaurant .

Good if you want to have few drinks and grab a meal.
Amar Lungare
Ambiance is ok, nothing to write about.

Service was good and quick.

The food was excellent.

It was late evening and we were all tired after a day long excursions in goa and it had been raining somewhat so we settled for this place hoping for some palatable food. We were pleasently surprised by the food they served.

The roties were soft and well roasted and made of wheat unlike other places claiming to be made of wheat but serving them made of maida.

We ordered all veg food since we were not very hungry and had too much fish during that stay. We got simple veg dishes and had to order more roties since it tasted so good.

masala papad

dal tadka

veg kolhapuri

butter roti

steamed rice

Will definitely go there again
Chinmayagarg.29
Smelly and dirty table cloth says it all. Dull place with no music. They should improve the access to the restaurant......basic. Restroom full of mosquito so.

Best food in South Goa and great hospitality and service. Any choice of dish is truly amazing, same goes to the beverages. Must try Calamari Masala fry.
Nitin Varma
Food is good but the ambience is average...... Service time is a bit slow and the mocktails are excellent....Shanghai chicken and devil fish are good....triple shezwan is the best!
Shanti Reddy
Amazing prawn biryani & decent service; friendly staff who will get your food before your hunger pangs fumes ..... ;)
I also liked the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream ( I know it's a standard dish that no one can mess with.... & these people have presented it well enough to mention)
Nikhil Jadhav
Ordered pork ribs in bbq sauce which were well presented but the taste didn't really match the appearance and also the beer was old. Service too is ordinary. Good location and a fancy name that's about it.

For people who are staying at Colva can have lunch and dinner at this place. I am rating this place 3.5 coz they dont serve the food in our plate. Anyways food ordered were super tasty and was bought in 15mins of time. The pork fry was neither sweet nor hot which made my taste bud wonder for more. The prawn salt n pepper and chicken hakka noodles was too good. They got a projector and play football. I liked the place and if I go goa next year, i will visit again for sure.

Visited here just a few days back and I decided to dine at this place only because of the ambience. Although it was outside it was very well maintained and not dirty like most of the outdoor places...the waiters were very kind and we'll dressed. Some also spoke a bit of Russian to the Russian customers. Well now about the food, i had ordered pork spare ribs, beef stir fry, chicken pasta in white sauce, fresh lime soda and some other mocktales. The pork spare ribs wer just awsum!!! The beef was also tender and cooked well with beans and other vegetables. Pasta was good just the way I wanted it.. But there was one thing that I was very disappointed about, It was that The fresh lime soda was prepared out of lemon syrup instead of fresh lime like the name suggests, and it was very sweet and was not at all good as my son who loves sweet didn't like it. I also had a look at the neighbouring table and I seen that they wer eating fish & chips and a large bowl of ice-cream. That looked very lavish and tasty as it had very large peices of surmai and the people wer just enjoying it also the ice cream bowl had a lot of fresh fruit peices along with it and the kids there just loved it so much that they ordered a second one. Finally I would definitely recommend this place as the food is good and the service is also excellent. Only was disappointed that the fresh lime soda was not prepared the right way even though the restaurant regularly serves foreign tourists.

5 mints away from the colva beach circle. Ambiance are really nice. Tandoori items are well and any external colour not added. Honey chicken not upto the mark
Kumar Raj
Good for a short meal... definitely not for outing... chicken items were good especially chicken masala, tandoori rotis were very fresh and tandoored just the right time... fish fry is so so... Colva particularly lacks good restaurants so this can delight you...

Food is okay. Location is good. Ambience is below average. Worst is the way you are treated. We went there as group of two families. Since we were 8, requested the waiter to join tables. The owner started making faces and shouting at us at that very moment. That was just the start. The owner would comment and object at whatever we did. Had an infant with us. The owner would object 'disrespectfully' at whatever he would do.

The last straw for the fire was when the owner shouted at the 1-year old for taking out a set of tissue papers from the case. Ultimately, we had to leave the restaurant then and there itself.

The owner needs to learn how to speak with customers, whatever his concerns be.

Portofino is strategically located near the Colva beach as a result of which it gets most of its customers. The menu is typical of what you could get at any other place in Goa. We were a group of 6 and we had placed an order for chicken wings, chilly chicken, prawns, and Kashmiri chicken all of which came covered in just ONE sauce. Each dish tasted the same. The cocktail I ordered tasted like Benadryl cough syrup and was laughable. Not a great place to spend money!

Rainy day enjoying my drive around.. Stopped by at this place portofino... Cool place... Was very clean organised and hygienic place especially considering it was a rainy day.. Location is great near to colva beach.. Ambience is cool.. Light music... Great place for drinks and sides.. Had French fries and mushrooms salt and pepper.. All were good in taste and enjoyed the mushroom salt and pepper alongwith fries which were as good as Mc Donald's... Nice place to relax... Would recommend to try this place at colva beach. Adding some pictures.. Enjoy!!!

Been here on a Sunday night.. the ambience was good.. The tables outside seemed good so we sat there.. But the mosquitoes and flies did distract us...

We ordered a beer and some drinks and to go with it some paneer crispy, crispy thread chicken and an Alfredo sauce pasta... the paneer and chicken were crispy with the fried noodles on top but were a bit too oily for my liking.... the pasta was good but i would've liked a bit more seasoning on it...

For dessert we had the caramel custard which was really good...

The service here was good... i got a fly on beer which they quickly replaced.. overall a decent place to go if you do not wish to travel far from the colva beach....

One of the finest restaurants to spend ur evening in Goa! As lazy as you can get!!! The wonderful setting in those lovely January evenings, the cool breeze, the silent road adjacent to it taking you to the Sea,the lamps taking its effect as the night rolls over with the lipsmacking Tandoori with a chilled PINT beer will be always the highlights of my Goa trip!

The only worthwhile place to go in Colva that doesn't have annoying lunch and dinner timings, Portofino is the one place that you can truly depend on to enjoy a good meal. The three times I went there, I wanted to give the chef a standing ovation for the delights that he was stirring up for us.
Beef Roast BBQ sauce - chunks of beef, cooked well, soft, good for those who aren't into chilly. The BBQ sauce provides a wonderful flavour to the dish.
Beef chilli fry - a little too chilli for my liking, but great nonetheless. Those of you with a liking for extra spice, this dish may be right up your alley
Green Thai curry- Fit the bill. A chef has to be screwed up to not get this dish correct.
Beef steak - If you had to break your beef virginity, it would be here to this dish. Soft, juicy, exquisite.
Goan sausage fried rice - went beautifully with the beef steak and tasty in its own as well. If ordering this, makes sense to also order a dish with a little gravy or juiciness to balance this dish out (not mix with the dish).
You get decent Goan sea food and really good continental food . Nice ambience. Nothing out of the ordinary but a good place to dine and hangout after dinner.

We came here by chance as it was the only place open in the area at that time. We were greeted by a very amiable waiter. We kept our order simple and it was delivered without the Goan Susegaad laziness. Our Tomato soup was hearty and cured my boyfriend's mother's cold. Our Veg Manchurian and Fried Rice was just like it was back home in Mumbai. We enjoyed it a lot. My butter chicken was delicious complete with the drizzled cream and with cheese stuffed garlic naan. And finally, the desert, Cheesecake with orange sauce was delicious. Only thing we were not okay with was that the Butter Chicken initially came without lemon and onions on the side. The waiter kindly delivered it upon asking. Again, the best I had Colva until now. I strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Colva!!!

Food is very goood. Ambience is also good. A very nice place to have goan delicacies. Service is a bit slow but worth the wait. Friendly service. Nice place to visit
Meghna Chhabria
We had the fish biriyani here for a change and it was yumm. The mussels rawa fry was good but a little too oily. Surprisingly this place is significantly more crowded than its counterparts. We didnt quite figure out why though because although the food tasted good, the service was quite painfully slow and the rates higher than other such places in the area!

We visited this place on December 26th and as usual had the bubbling Christmas Aura of Goa.

The place has an inner seating area for four each along with outer sitting area for family. The place has a good collection of sea food, chicken and other meat. Place includes an excellent drinking crowd.

We ordered only veg items which were classic.

Peach ice tea - good tea with mint leaves for extra flavour.

Virgin mojito - Sprite along with lime juice flavored with brown sugar, mint leaves and presented well with unique straws. Good drink.

Crispy paneer - Fried paneer which is coated with dry noodles provided with dip. Great

Mushroom salt and pepper - best starter of the day.

Tomato and baisil soup - Tomoto thick soup with baisil powder makes it a perfect hot soup with bread slices on a cold night.

Cream of mushroom - Although not much hot the soup had its own class.

Veg fried rice and noodles were good although mushroom noodles was superb.

Mushroom penne pasta with Alfredo sauce - One of the best pasta I have had in couple of years. Do not miss this as its their speciality.

Coming to desserts they have an excellent ones.

Caramel custard - custard covered with caramel sauce along with cherry and mint leaves.

Fruit salad with ice cream - nothing exceptional although its great .

Malai matka kulfi - Presented well in a mud pot the kulfi will take time which is pretty hard although worth the wait.

Perfect dinner at Goa post Christmas. Jingle bells !!

Excellent service and value for money.
Shalini Masih
Excellent food n great service. Must try. Seating could have been more comfortable. Try the beef vindalo... being right off the street gives you good view of the hussle around.
Ankur Desai
Loved the place. Had quick lunch after long drive from panajim.. They have good seafood soup and awesome dal rice.. All in all good place for quick meal.
Pankaj Gupta
I visited the place with my frnds and ordered sweet and sour prawns and beers etc. For me it was a nice place to sit with frnds. Food was ok but the service was lil poor, may be because of the peak season. We were sitting outside enjoying the beer and looking around. Nice experience
Sohan Thomas
Lovely little joint on the colva strech . Usually come here with family. The food here is always good especially the tandoori rotisserie always fresh and hot . The service is good the waiters always willing to help .
Marjorie Pereira
The calamari chilly garlic is yum here as well as the cheese garlic naan...iv had cheese naans at different restaurants before but this is really good!
Gopalbhaire
One of the best place near Colva. Food here is tasty and affordable. Ambience is good. Takes quite a time to get order ready. Kitchen is hygienic and large. Lacks Goan flavour in some dishes.
Anuj Kuriachan
I was here in November 2013 on my Goa trip with my friends. After the day at the Colva beach, we decided to settle somewhere for good goan food. This place was situated right on the main street leading to Colva beach. We entered the place seeing it was crowded.Well I loved the outdoor dining of the place. The service was good and we had one of our tastiest food here.We ordered a variety of cocktails alongwith a few appetizers like . We loved the prawns and the lamb they served. A must visit dine-out place if you are around Colva beach.
:)

Went with high expectations as the name goes, but were disappointed with the quality of food.
We ordered goan fish curry which lacked the goan flavors.
Will never recommend it to anyone.
Mrinal Shinde
Located on the main street leading to colva beach. Good ambience.
Food is delicious. Calamari chilly garlic and their cheese garlic naans are a must.
Shashank Sawant
Well, a nice comfortable restaurant this could have been. But thanks to the exceptional service offered to the foreigners, I was not attended for about 10 minutes after getting a seat. The chicken fingers I ordered were just not worth it despite an excruciating wait. Add to it, I said "No drinks, thanks!" Gone. That did it. Maybe of you're a drinker with lots of patience, you could give this place a try.
@foodiefrombeyond
So you are in Colva and looking at a crowded beach with a grumbling tummy; well walk away and head down the road for Portofino cafe... Good Goan Sausages and Pork Chilly were my starters paired with good white wine... We had squid butter fry as well as we were ravished !! Cheap prices attract crowd like flies and try getting a seat outside always as dinner is the best time to be here !!
Logan Almeida Coutinho
This is my every saturday night hangout restaurant with my guys. What else can I say. The staff are very pleasing and the food Need I tell bout it? The Chilly Garlic Squids are to die for. The same goes for the Honey Smoked Chicken. The only place in Colva that offers gr8 food for the price.
Malika Gupta
Only had coffee but yummy it was! Mostly a sea food place... Not very many vegetarian options...close to colva beach- not facing the beach though...soft music..
Swapnil Pinjarkar
We had been to Portofino for dinner twice during our trip to goa. The restaurant has a good locational advantage located on the main street leading to the Colva beach. Considering we were a bit early for dinner (7.30 pm), we managed to get a place to sit but the other tables were soon occupied by locals and tourists alike. The staff was kind enough to help us decide on the menu and i must thank them for de wonderful combinations they suggested to us. Amongst the several delicacies in the menu, we opted for Crab meat soup, pork ribs, chicken caffreal, cheese garlic butter naan, and a few chicken starters. Each of these food items were cooked to perfection with a gud portion size leaving no room to complain on any front. A meal for two with drinks cost us around 700 bucks :) This place is highly recommended if you are going to Colva beach during your trip. Had a nice long chat with Mr. Xavier, the owner of the restaurant, who came across as a very friendly person. Cheers to your venture and all de best for the good times ahead.

Went there yesterday for the first time. I have been on colva couple of times, but never been to this place.
I took a chance yesterday. Saw that it was much crowded than the other places. So too zeroed on to this place. Ambience is OK. Menu looked too looked OK. Options on the menu card are very limited if you want to taste authentic Goan food. I was a but disappointed about this. Finally we had king fish with Goan masala. And it was really awesome!!! Also had prawns starters which too was good.
Ambience - 3
Variety - 2
Taste - 5
Overall 3.5
????
