Loved the food and vibe here. Rajesh helped us in choosing the food from the menu and also in customising the food to our taste. Must try Serradura and Tender Coconut Pennacotta. The staff are very friendly and the washrooms are clean and well maintained.

Saturday night at Viva Goa is something you ought to come and experience. Live music by a vibrant couple hitting out great numbers, great food choice , excellent service and ambience is the coctail awaiting you. I was there today. Looking forward to more. Your hosts Mr Francis and wife, with their most hospitable gestures, would ensure you had a great dining experience. 5 stars..😊

A nice joint of colva. Food was very tasty though a bit pricey. We ordered fish Toasties, fenni, veg xacauti , serradurra and one fish thali. Each item was really tasty.

Cute cafe located near Colva Beach. We had pancakes, chicken club sandwiches, and goan sausages. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a bar menu to choose from. The owner is friendly and sweet. The ambience is cool too :)

Food was great. Beef steak, Hot garlic chicken, Mushroom special were great. The mushroom was very unique and we enjoyed it. The senior person in charge of waiting at our table was so humble and warm, we enjoyed the food there. Price is great for the food that we got there when compared to North Goa. Enjoyed our meals there.

This restaurant and bar is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the inviting ambiance and stylish decor. The attentive and friendly staff made me feel right at home, providing exceptional service throughout my visit. The menu was a culinary delight, offering a diverse selection of delectable dishes and craft cocktails that tantalized my taste buds. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the presentation was nothing short of artistry. The attention to detail and use of fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in every dish. The restaurant's vibrant atmosphere and lively bar scene added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. I highly recommend this establishment for an unforgettable dining experience!

Great place for a peaceful dinner. The service is good. Not much of ambience, just regular tables and a small bar.

Visited a couple of times and tried a few veg and chicken dishes. Food was good with good quantity.

We ordered chicken kohlapuri and it was clearly substandard. Curry made with log of red chilli powder in it. We understand that kohlapuri is supposed to be spicy but definitely not this way. On top it we wanted to split bills on two credit card. The guy completely refused to do it and insisted on charging only one card. At the same time how it was told to us was completely rude and inappropriate. Complete lack of respect for customer. And gave no reason for not splitting amount on two cards.

For me it will be the best place in whole Goa 🤩 I had their special Crab xec xec and it was the best dish I ever had in Goa. The gravy was something else. It's a must try if you are in South Goa.

Had visited this place on Thursday and since I was veg on that day I opted for Paneer Tikka Masala with some butter roti and my friend opted for Biryani. We were not disappointed at all. The Paneer was soft and oozing of flavor from the gravy and the butter roti was the perfect accompaniment to it. The biryani was also oozing with flavors of the Indian spices and the meat succulent and tender. Must visit this place.

This Colva unit seems like an Accident.
I would have reviewed my experience many times but couldn’t Find a better Expression so I stick to It.

The place was welcoming by the sight of it however the staff made an impact otherwise. The interaction was more like state tourism owned units.
The food was acceptable but their explanation for Frozen (ok Cold) chapatis was not acceptable.
The pricing and their quantity again gives an impression of some complex Numbers in Mathematics.
I present 2-stars because I ate their Food else I recommend My allies to avoid this stoppage

When in south Goa - colva, you need to stop over at Viva Goa. Owned and Run by Francis who is an avid biker and a very good host. Been coming here for the last 3-4 years and not much has changed on the quality of the food. Might end up having a whole bunch of bikers hanging out over there. Just two tables setup outside while the rest of the place is indoor/AC. Service is really good. The staff and very polite and courteous, very helpful if you need assistance in ordering. Plus points to the staff for catering to my vegan friend. Coming to the food. This place is all about Goan cusine. My personal favourite is the Beef Cutlets - takes me back to Grandma's cooking, the Sausage Pulao is simple but yet so loaded with flavour, and the Pork Vindaloo you can't wrong with this dish. The rechado fish is pretty good, do mention if you want it spicy. The beef and pork chilly are really good too, juicy chunks of meat tossed in peppers and chilli and onions. Didn't quiet have space for dessert. 4.5 cause the restrooms aren't the greatest.

I didn't like it much here. Everything is sweet. I love the typical Goan food with it's spices not this. The ambience is what the rating is all about.

I was in south Goa looking for a place to have dinner with my wife and kids. On the way to Colva I found Viva Goa. It's a restaurant frequented by lot of local Goan families. On the first trial night I found it to be a very pretty and warm Restaurant with polite staff and exceptional Service. I am a vegetarian and found the goan veg dishes to be delicious. They serve north indian as well..and that's too good and fresh.

We decided to try it the second night as well and we were lucky that it was a Saturday night. There was live orchestra and I never new Goan songs are so beautiful. For the first time we felt the warmth and friendliness of local Goan families.

They invited us to dance and we did that for hours and it was so much fun. That was our last night at Goa and it was the best time we had.

Three cheers to the couple owners who make sure every guest is treated with exceptional service making ViVa Goa one of the most vibrant and warm Restaurants which also serves delicious food.

Whenever I am in Goa this is one place I will have my dinner.

Viva Goa is a reasonably priced place near Colva. The place is kind of small with an average ambience. Unfortunately there were issues with the air-conditioning so that was a bit of a problem. The cream of Mushroom Soup was good. We also had Goan Mushroom Chilli, Chonak rava masala fry, Bombay Duck fry, paranthas and Dal Tadka Jeera Rice which was all good. The service was a bit slow which was an issue. Overall a good place for Goan food.

This place is near Colva beach.
Prawn biryani and bebinca was awesome.
Masala kingfish is passable. It had a weird sweet taste.
Fish curry was OK.

Viva Goa, Colva ... Is a must visit restaurant for foodies especially their Goan cuisines. Bet you would like to come again and again. Can't pick a single dish which is favourite since this would be harsh on the restaurant chef since so many dishes are good in all respects...

Viva Goa is a tiny little restaurant in Goa. They serve authentic Goan cuisine. Delicious Goan Sausage Pulao and Pork Vindaloo. One of the oldest restaurants i know of in Colva.

Dropped by this restaurant rather late for lunch Sat Jan 28th. What caught my eye were the nicely decorated walls outside the restaurant of Harley Davidson riders and being on a motorcycle ride from Pune I decided to stop. I ordered pomfret fish fry, fried mussels and some fish curry rice, all of which were really tasty with good portions. I enjoyed the restaurant ambiance which was nicely air-conditioned and had a relaxing meal. The service was spot-on and friendly. I would definitely make it a point to visit this restaurant when in Goa next.

Dropped in for dinner and decided to have some fusion as we'd got a bit bored of Goan food that week. Tried modso fillet masala fry with hakka noodles :-) Was quite tasty.

The best place in colva beach to enjoy goan food specially sea foods are awesome. If you are in colva beach you must visit the VIVA , where you will find very good goan food vegetarian and yes the specially the non-vegetarian . Enjoyed the drinks and the sevice was best. Visited the VIVA GOA with family and friends. Enjoyed the birthday celebrations. The best value for money. Will definitely visit Viva Goa when ever in south goa Colva beach. Enjoyed the Food, drink and birthday cake served by Viva Goa.

Service is very poor and the owner himself have to take orders despite having 3 or 4 waiters. The waiters will not come to ur place unless you call for them and they stand hidden most of the times that we had to walk up to their counter. GST was charged one day and the second day it was missing. Both were printed bills. Prices have increased compared to portions served. This was a must go place earlier but planning to avoid next time.

Definitely 1 of my best hunts till date..!
..every item we ordered was a top notch, right from scrumptious beef & pork dishes to seafood & chicken. They serve amazing food at optimum prices.
Not bad fr veggie lovers too....
Owners are delightful & sweet.

While we bid adieu to Goa, this restaurant gave us the most enthralling farewell. Cheers!

It's hard to find a good restaurant in Goa, especially if you have not developed a taste for Goan cuisine. This is mostly the complaint that you see on the food or restaurant reviews. Viva Goa is situated away from the hustle bustle. They have varieties of food available to satisfy your hunger. I would suggest to try the Goan cuisine here. The pomfret curry with rice is really good. The price seems to be bit overboard and they mention that the "size really matters". I mean the size of pomfret. The taste of coconut and slight tangy flavor of kokkum with goan masala is refreshing. The prawns balchao could have been better. The size of prawns were really small. This is another Goan dish with lots of tangy and red chilly paste with a dash of sweetness.
The pasta marinara, veg hakka noodles and chicken sizzlers tasted good. But they could have avoided the green peas in pasta and noodles.
If you are in South Goa, this is one decent place you can eat. The restaurant is clean and minimal staff they have are really friendly.

'Viva Goa' is Lovely but Small establishment located at Colva. They Are Packed at Nights on Weekends...and also incase you love Having a drink or two..this is the place you have to be at if you're in the neighborhood...
They have another outlet right on The Colva Beach...which has a better presence amd ambience all together....but all in all... Been here a couple of times. A small cozy place. We usually skip this if it looks crowded from the outside as it could get cramped if more than 3 tables are occupied. Food is the main reason we revisit. Service is quick. The staff are almost always very attentive and cordial. Seafood is usually fresh. Try the tuna on toast (not on menu), awesome find. Calamari butter garlic is better than most of the places I've eaten at. Fish fingers are another great snack choice. They have Nasi goreng on menu, which on yet to try. I wish this place was slightly bigger and spaced out. That apart, I have no complaints.

Great service, great food. When you eat at viva goa you are sure to have the best food goa has to offer. We went there twice once for lunch and then next days dinner. For lunch we ordered fish fry, beef chilly, prawn curry rice and the awesome goan sausage pulao. You have to try the pulao, it tastes as good as a biryani, super filling and super taste. Thye same meal we decided we have to come again, so told them if possible to keep shark and crabs. The next days dinner had shark tandoori, with 2 types of crabs - crabs filled with meat and veggies and then crab masala which we had with naan to enjoy the masala taste. All in all completely recommend.
Tejas Kuvelkar
It's a shady overpriced place with no exceptional food.. It is generally crowded which is not justifiable inspite of having a lot of other options in the locality.. Service is very slow.. They need to improve a long way!
