The food here was amazing, a lot of good dishes, was a bit hard to make decision but eventually the food that we ordered was worth it. For drinks I ordered a cocktail; Tequila sunrise, and I must say it was really awesome. The service here was good too, the food and drinks, everything came right on time. Decent find with some good food options and great service. The ambience is good too! Tried their squid batter fry and it was worth it! Crispy chicken was also pretty unique. Although, prawn wafers were a complete surprise! Didn't get any prawn flavour and it was a pure papad texture.

Ordered veg fried rice, crispy fried chicken, battered prawns, mandeli fish masala fry, fish fingers, lemon soda, chicken manchow soup and a coconut mocktail. The starters, soup and the drinks were good however, the mandeli fish was not fresh, it was smelling and tasted bad. The fish fingers were okay in taste. Service is a bit slow. Ample place to sit and have a good time with your family. Good ambience. Wash-basin and toilet is available here.

Ben and Sand my first time visit was very memorable. Known for its seafood it is vfm. Ambeince is good. Approach to the restiarant is good though parking can be a issue. Service was good. Fish served was fresh and to local taste. Lovely place to visit. Family place.

The one thing you've got to try here is the cheese garlic naan. I'm sure you'll definitely love it. Combine it with any of your favourite starters and it's a delicious meal for sure. The naan is so good that you can actually have just naan too, without anything to compliment the taste. The one thing that disappoints me is the service of the place because it keeps you waiting for longer duration maybe due to shortage of staff. If you keep the service aside and are there for food, then you're in for a treat.

Hello, Foodie from Mumbai here, We ordered Chicken Masala and Rotis. Don’t know about the ambience, just ordered because of the rating. Food quality was good not so dull, was doing justice to the price. Roti was just 20₹ and tasted far bar then high priced restaurant. Chicken Masala was not going that well, was chicken less masala, very few pieces and chicken and too much gravy that to very watery. But food tasted better no doubt Whenever visit goa don’t waste money on high class restaurants, you can order at hotel and save money and make it budget trip.

One of the very few places that have a mix of vibes without empowering the other.i have been here for dates,family outings and beer with the boys and I can say its a very safe place for women, a place for family dinners and also a bar type vibe for the boys. The food is your average roadside restaurant food nothing extra special but the seafood, Chinese and tandoor are amazing. The service is good having humble and helpfull staff. I ordered mutton sukha through zomato online. Quantity of food good. But the way they cooked horrible. Here Sweet taste it is, but mutton always cooked as medium spicy or spicy anywhere. And one more thing is fully masala mixed it is. Mutton sukha will be cooked with less quantity of masala and it should be always dry as it name States Sukha means dry. But here it's not dry , here it's wet masala with oily sticky.

Quite a pocket friendly destination hangouts or group outings that serves some really tasty Goan delicacies. Although the options are limited but foods are good tastewise as well as portion size wise. Golden fried calamari, we loved it. Simple and flavourful. Crispy veg is one of the best munching here for. We also tried biriyani, better than a lot of places. Also tried Hyderabadi chicken and paratha. Paratha was the only thing i didn't like. It's greasy. Pocket pinch for two: visited no.of times. Pocket pinch comes around Rs. 600 to 700 along with beverages.

For veg, one star is enough, but the non-vegetarian food is comparatively a but better, so the average of two stars. More than half the items on thr menu aren't available and when asked for shezwan chutney we were given chilly sauce. However, Virgin Mojito is the only good thing here. So do try it!😊

Being a fan of Goan cuisine and a half Goan myself, we long for authentic fish curry-rice when we visit Goa. Ben and Sand is a go-to place who do their best in serving Goan food. Their Crispy Fried Chicken is succulent with an amazing chilli dipping sauce. Their Prawns Masala Fry are King sized prawns with lip smacking masala. The Prawn Curry has ample prawns, generous curry made in typical Goan style. All in all, our Hangry tummys were super happy with Ben and Sand. Not only do they suit the pocket but their deliveries are also on the dot.

Located on the Margao-Colva route, Ben and Sand has gained immense popularity over the years for it's Goan cuisine and Tandoori fare, alike. Ambience is pretty decent, would appreciate some music to go along though. For starters, we had Crispy Chicken (finally crispy chicken, that actually is crispy!). Can't go to 'Ben and Sand' and not order seafood! Reashad fry Mackeral is too good! Very generous amount of tangy masala stuffing. Mussels rawa fry and Calamari batter fry are other good seafood options. In the very beginning, we ordered Masala Papad to go with the beer. It had generous about of veggies, however the 'masala' was missing! For mains, chicken biryani is pretty good here. Service was surprisingly quick, even on a busy Sunday. Pricing is good, very easy on the pocket! Would love to visit again.

Edit as of 26 may. I ordered mutton biryani, butter chicken and parotta. Horrible. I don't have a word to describe their food. I don't expect this kind of standard. They sent me staff food I think. All the biryani had was bones and liver pieces. Not one piece of meat. In my entire life I have not seen restaurants serving internal organs of the animals. It was disgusting. My stomach is knotted. I don't know if it was even mutton. It could have been dog meat all u know. The butter chicken as well was not what butter chicken usually tastes like. It was just shredded chicken in red massala gravy. If I could give negative rating that would have been great. Advice:- stay far from this restaurant. Not worth the money you spent. I am surprised to have received this kind of food when just a month ago the food sent was totally different than what I received today.

I just love the food from here. I've tried the chicken fried rice gobi manchurian chicken cafreal and chicken dum biryani and the cheese naan. Excellent food full of flavour. The chicken biryani although tasty was extremely spicy and the pieces of chicken was more bone than meat. Besides that no issues.

Big Disappointment! Have been here 4 times before but the food was really good but this time it was a big disappointment. 👎 We ordered Chonok Rava fry, the fish was not fresh at all. And it was not cooked properly it was raw and tasted very bad. The Garlic chicken was awful I think they had stored it fro ages. Never gonna visit this place again 😑😑 Only good time here was the Beer, Tomato Ketchup and tissue papers 😂😂

A pocket friendly, non ac restaurant with a good ambience and quick service. We tried their Machow soup, Crispy Chicken, Veg Spring Rolls and Chicken Cheese Garlic Naan. The soup and crispy chicken were good but the spring rolls were very bland. A must try is definitely the Chicken Cheese Garlic Naan. It's absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back for it.

Amazing ambience 👌👌👌 we ordered mackerel fry with rechado masala, squids batter fry, cheese chilli garlic naan , chicken 65 and butter chicken. Fish and chicken was cooked perfectly. I really loved all the flavours except chicken 65 taste was a bit off. I would give 10/10 for the taste of all the dishes but not for the chicken 65. I loved the crispy chicken and the cheese garlic naan which was definitely the best I have had till date. Apart from that, King fish rawa fry is something that every tourist should go for in goa. It's the best kind of fish fry you will get to gave in goa exclusively. In drinks, they offer a variety of mock tails, cocktails and alcoholic beverages. A good, affordable place.

Ben and sand This outlet is located near the colva road and this place is always crowed in the peak hours so I recommend you to visit this place around 7 to have a best experience. The chicken crispy, chicken lollipop and the naam are the dish to definitely try out. Its a good place if you're looking to watch a live football or cricket match with your friend with a couple of drinks and side dishes. This non - ac restaurant is a casual dining place with ample of sitting area. It is usually crowded in the night so the service is as slow as 40-45 min. If you are IPL fan they they have put a big screen for you to enjoy the matches. Since the service was slow we ordered the dishes which we could get sooner. All the Chinese dishes will be served in 20 min. We ordered cheese chicken garlic naan and crispy chicken which is a must try here. The prices are also reasonable. *Note : Tandoori and Naan not available in the afternoon

With recent renovations it would be thought to get expensive but they have maintained the rates and quality too. For starters we ordered crispy fried chicken, chicken lollipop, rava fried prawns and calamari butter garlic. The calamari was cooked properly but the garlic in the sauce need a bit more heat to it. The prawns and the chicken were missing spice too. For main course we ordered butter chicken and mixed fried rice. Although we ordered mixed fried rice, we could not find any seafood in it. The butter chicken served to us was either not what they said it was or the worst butter chicken I ever had till the writing of this review. The luscious green field view from the restaurant is very calming. The service was fast enough but there were times when we could not find a single waiter on the floor.

This little shack like setup is just off the main road to Colva. They are famous for the local cuisine. Not a very fancy place but the food is quite good and prices reasonable too. It gets a lil crowded and hence parking is the only issue I see with this place.

Given the price, the food is excellent here. We tried calamari batter fry, crispy chicken as starters, both were good. The cocktail was great, beer was economically priced. The chicken xacuti with cheese garlic nan (Indian bread) was brilliant. But after eating so many things, your bill cannot cross 700. If you are looking for Goan authentic food then this is one of the best joint in south Goa. Famous restaurant in local crowd. Tasty food served very wel. One thing I liked very much is they serve palm size king fish slice. I liked both Goan masala fry and rawa fry king fish. Prawns are also good. Enjoyed sea food here.

Located around a Km away from margao. The place has good ambience. However there are very less dishes to choose from. The service is quick, food is at affordable rate and Cheese na'an & chicken crispy are must have items . Other food items aren't so delicious.

Located only a few minutes from margao this is a restraunt known fr it's quick service. Rates are affordable however the food is just average. Fried fish is deep fried and just too oily. A big thumbs down to this restraunt.

Our Go to place whenever we are in town, situated near the main Colva road, approx 500 meters from Margao. Small cozy non ac setup (like a shack), crowded if u reach after 8:30 specially on Saturday and Sundays. So be early if your going in a group, you can also reserve you table well in advance. Now goes the food, we have our menu fixed as its the best out here which has the Reshado Mackerel, Juicy Chicken tandoori, Cheese garlic nuns (you gotta love it with beer) and their mix fried rice. Squids are Lil under cooked but the quantity is enough for 3 people. Kingfish rava fry is one of the must to have. Ratings - Service - 3.5/5, Food - 4/5 Ambiance - 3/5

Firstly the place is very good if you are looking for cheap and good food . Try ordering Kismoor and you will be shot with a plate enough for four people .Food overall is good . If you are going out with a group of friends then this the place to be. Not recommended for couples though. Ambiance could be little bit better . Since its Goa there are no complaints about the service and the staff. Must visit at least once if you are in Goa since a long time or the matter of fact if you are a Goemkar .
