Review Firestones Pizzeria - Colva

At firestones pizza, sauce is the King ! Before mentioning the quality of pizza, I would like to appreciate the sauce ! In this day and age of instant pizza sauces, it is great to see the chef prepare his own sauce which actually tastes amazing 😋 Loved the char on the pizzas ! I tried the garlic breadsticks (dine in &take out), Margerita and the Ortolano (take out) . All of them were equally good and its hard to choose one as the best. But I would rate the margerita slightly higher than the rest. This classic prepared with cherry tomatoes and basil was so well done. The calibre of a chef is truly tested in classic dishes and I would compliment the chef / owner for not only his dedication to preparing a wonderful pizza but also his sweet smiling attitude when sharing his knowledge about pizzas. Highly recommended and I would definitely visit this again the next time am at the perfect holiday destination , Goa !

Dropped in at Firestones on Christmas Eve. The experience was magical, befitting the date... The pizza's were absolutely delicious. From the sauce to the dough - all ingredients came together wonderfully. It was served piping hot from the wood fired oven, with the sauce and cheese bubbling. It is one of the best pizza's I've had, ever - and that's over decades and over experiences across a number of countries 🍕 The owners were invested in their pizzas, how else could one explain the divine taste. The seating is somewhat limited, but comfortable. As a postscript, please thoroughly disregard the so called experts who've rated the pizzas as average. It's disappointing to see these yuppies giving gyaan about taste after watching two episodes of Master Chef Australia and three visits abroad. I would like to review " Firestones Woodfield Pizza " . The restaurant is located in margao, on the way to colva beach. You can easily locate the restaurant . They have both vegetarian and non vegetarian pizzas options along with the mocktails in their Menu card . Wood fired brick ovens and Pizza have been with us since the dawn of civilization. Wood fired or brick oven Pizza is a type of Pizza that's cooked in a brick oven. Instead of being heated by electricity or gas, a brick Pizza oven employs burning wood to cook pizza. The special about wood fired Pizza is that it's not only tastier than other kinds of pizzas but it also healthier. The extreme heat in a wood burning oven cooks the pizza super fast, which helps the toppings hold onto their natural nutrients. Wood fired Pizza doesn't need preservatives because it's made with fresh , all natural ingredients. It's also much healthier because the vegetables retain their nutrients since the pizza is cooked faster. The crust is full of good carbs, and any meats added on are a great source of protein. The restaurant is run by a very cool couple with their friendly staff . They always provide their customers excellent service. You can also order the pizza online by swiggy . We wanted to go for Domino's but we preferred Firestones woodfired pizza because it was very close by. It was a very good decision because if We try it then only we will know the difference in variety of pizzas. The pizza is cooked very quickly so no need to wait for 30 mins. The crust of the pizza is thin and it is cooked very will. Chicken Tikka pizza was very delicious... Very quick service ... so guys do visit the restaurant and try it once . If " Domino's Pizza is good , then Firestones Woodfired Pizzas are great ".

It's a small roadside place run by a very friendly person who is enthusiastic about cooking. The pizza was not great but good value for money. Will recommend eating here if you are in the area.

Very nice pizza, best in south goa. Owner is very enthusiastic about his pizzas and even told us the process and how he is making such tasty pizzas. Must try.

Extremely Amazing Pizzas... They use different woods in the Oven to infuse the flavours in their Pizzas and Garlic Bread... It is so full of Flavours and so full of Freshness... We had the Cheesy Spicy Garlic Stix, Veggie Supreme Pizza and their Sun Dried Tomatoes Pizza... and totally loved it... ❤️

In two days of our south goa trip, we decided to stay in Colva. As a pizza lover, i searched for pizzas restaurants and we choosed this restaurant for pizza. It was a correct decision to choose this. One of the best woodfire pizza I ever ate. Specially thanks to outlet owner Abdon. We were very pleased with his hospitality and greetings. Place is serving veg. and non veg. pizza. We tried Veg. Margarita, Veg. Supreme, Veg. Ortolana, Chicken Tikka and Chicken Cafreal and Cheesy Garlic Stix. You must try Paneer and Chicken Cafreal Pizza. This restaurant is my bucket list for my next trip in Goa. Overall : must recommending

I totally recommend this place if you want the best pizza in Goa. They use wood for baking the pizza which imparts a great flavour to it. The aroma of the pizza fills the room and they taste excellent. One must see the very interesting process of baking pizzas in woodfire.. They roast the tomatoes for a long time in the firewood and they use the same for making the sauce. Hence even the sauce is amazing... Everything is prepared fresh... Enough parking space is available...Visiting this is highly recommended.

Delicious wood fired pizzas and garlic bread. The hosts are amazing and will make you feel like home and may even ask you to join them to create the pizza 😀. Best pizza i have ever had.. it's a must try place. Will definitely recommend!!👌👌

One of the best authentic Italian style pizza I ever had. A big thanks to the Firestones for giving me and my family this tasty treat which we will never forget 1. If anyone wants to taste an authentic pizza he must visit this place. 2. Owner of this place welcomed and treated us very well. He also introduced us to one of his regular customer. 3. All the staff is very generous and humble. 4. Price of the pizza was also very reasonable.

The pizzas are lovely. Very tasty and the chef was very sweet and interactive. My family and I enjoyed every bit of it.. we would love to come back again soon .

This place has an amazing team and very warm hearted people. Abden, the owner was a wonderful host to us. We tried a couple of pizzas, veg and non veg and garlic bread sticks here. This place is value for money. The chef prepares their pizza base and sauces from scratch. Taste-wise these were decent and very home like flavours. Good thing is that this place doesn't use commercial taste makers to artificially enhance their flavour. There was no unusual after taste and no heaviness in the tummy. We did suggest a few possible improvements they could make especially in flavouring and amount of toppings (the veg pizza had very little and much unnoticeable toppings). Abden was more than welcoming to our feedback. This guy has a great attitude! Good place to try your pizza here if you're looking for a more natural flavour and a healthier option.

The chef is very welcoming and the ingredients are homemade and very delicious. They use special wood which gives pizza a unique aroma. Really recommend to stop by and give it a try.

Restaurant owner is friendly. He even showed my daughter how to cook pizza.. 1. Pizza were delicious.. veg supreme was on another level. We have ate pizzas of Domino's and pizza hut and others but this 1 was genuinely better 2. Garlic bread so so juicy and so much of flavour Totally great time we had.. my daughter was so happy that she was eating pizza she made. Thank you firestones woodfired pizza.....

Visited this on our recent trip to Goa. The ambience, service and food everything is exceptional. Thought it's a small quant place it it yet one of the best places to have a pizza. One can see the whole process and witness the baking in the wood fired oven as well. Can it get any better? The chef Abden and staff are extremely hospitable, warm and welcoming. The pizzas impart such a delicious taste and the aroma of the carefully selected wood enhance the lusciousness of it. I have never seen anyone so passionate about food and feeding. This place will always be recommended and definitely worth visiting at every trip to Goa.

The experience with the pizzas were extremely good. The authentic way of wood fired pizza . The woods are of different types : mango and cinnamon. The chef is very friendly . Food: The food tasted just as the classic pizza . Would reccommend you to go and visit. Do not order or else the pizza would not taste better Best Pizza I have ever haded!!!

We just happened to pass by this restaurant and decided to try the pizzas. We ordered 3 small pizzas and the penne seafood. The chicken Tikka, chicken BBQ and chicken peperoni pizzas were excellent. The owner Abden Pereira personally comes to chat with each customer. One feels special. He has over 23 years experience working in the UAE. He mentioned that he smokes the tomatoes to make the sauce and the Mango wood used in the oven adds flavor to the pizzas. The penne seafood pasta was excellent too. Right amount of herbs and sauce. We were too stuffed with the pizzas to finish our pasta. So we packed it up. Will definitely finish it tomorrow. If you happen to be on the Colva Beach road, do visit this little wayside eatery for some yummy wood fired pizzas :)
