Very nice hotel and room quality is very good. Food is average Location wise its cant be better than this. Manager and all other staffs are very polite and very much helpfull

Good place for vegetarians. Food is okay considering there are hardly any pure veg restaurants in Darjeeling. Location is fantastic, right on the way to Chowrasta or on the way back from there depending on where you are headed.

Nice place for veg lunch and dinner Lot of options including curries and idli and dosa Service can take time

I must recommend this place if you are looking for good vegetarian food. I ordered their special thali. It was so delicious with a variety of food. Also the portion was more than enough for one person.

Pure veg restaurant in Darjeeling. Well sitting place is not adequate. Otherwise its good for veg food.

My experience of this place has been very different in the month of April 2022 compared to some of the negative reviews. Though I only ordered a Veg Chowmein and a cup of coffee, there were multiple things behind this good rating. I reached in the evening when there was no one at this place but it soon more people trickled in. The tables as well as the place was very clean. The view near the window is really good but this is true for some many places in Darjeeling. The chowmein was cooked using vermicelli noodles and though I was not prepared for that, the taste was really good. It was desi Indian style chowmein not the authentic Chinese taste but I like the desi version too. Coffee was strong and wasn't too milky. This was a really good option for pure vegetarian food after the disaster at Frank Ross nearby where the food was literally unpalatable the day I visited it.

We went there at 3pm. The place was half full, but the service was quick. Many workers in this restaurant. You can pay with card or phone. Food was good, price reasonnable.

Hasty tasty restaurant in Darjeeling much better place for vegetarians and fast food lover with hygiene. I visited here for 2 years before with my wife. The atmosphere and the location is fantastic.inside the restaurant some greeny area at its boundaries.the scene from the window is beautiful. I was ordered veg noodals and masala dosa which is sufficient for us. there is no any waiters n all. self service only.the taste is good not too much. Overall the aura of this restaurant still in my mind.

Value for money veg restaurant. Order/pay at counter, receive ticket and collect when your number called. Good quality veg biryani, paneer butter masala and amazing aloo paratha. Open kitchen and constant cleani g/tidying tables and chairs. Only negative is no WC (or I didn't see it) Would visit again

Food was good , best option for a pure vegetarian . Although waiting time is a little more. It offers various cuisines like North Indian , south Indian and Chinese as well. A Little expensive by local standards but from a tourists perspective , Pricing is okay.

Self service food counters, if you’re looking for veg food they have ample options to choose from. Nice and clean place staffs are helpful. I took special veg thali, food was hot and served timely.

Veg soup was amazing, dishes are freshly prepared.. you have to wait a bit long to get your ordered food.. it’s a self service hotel.. you will get South Indian food as well.. taste is good. Everything will be served hot

The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We highly recommend it. Many combo meals. And Sunday was equally as good. Staff were extremely friendly and delicious many foods. Well done 👍

Best place to have lunch with a view. Taste is okayish. Dosa is really expensive. 170 for a masala dosa? I don't think it's really worth.

For vegetarians, This restaurant Is totally Bliss. <br/>The have wide range of North Indian food to South Indian Food and Chinese. I won’t recommend Momos of this place. But apart from that everything of this place was just So perfect in taste. As we were travelling from 10days and then reached Darjeeling as our last destination before ending that trip We were craving for some good North Indian Desi Homemade kinda food and this restaurant served food which exactly what we wanted to have. Food was just up to the mark. Daal Tadka With Rice, Chilli potato, Kesar Milk🥛,Dosa etc every single dish what we had was just so amazing....<br/><br/>Pls do visit this restaurant if you are in Darjeeling

Not bad experience as a whole. I can vouch that you must get the deliciousness of veggies. Most importantly the ambiance is really nice and you would feel one of the most classy cafe in the town. Please visit there if you go to Darjeeling ever.

Pav bhaji n hot chocolate drink cost me 160/-<br/>Price of pav bhaji 70/- n chocolate is 40/-<br/>Where did my 50 bucks go???? For what was that extra cost.<br/>Bhaji was way too sour to eat. I gulped my pav with chocolate drink. Perhaps the extra cost was for that.

This was the most crowded veg joint 10 years before. Looks like it has lost its charm in the decor and ambiance front...but not on taste. Super tasty and hot stuff. Especially North Indian dishes. Hot Phulkas and most reasonable pricing. Veg guys must visit this location again and again.

After shopping i was looking for some place in mall road to have some evening snacks.<br/>This is located in mall road only and they have ample space for seating. It was crowded and slow was slow.&nbsp;<br/>Had masala dosa and sandwich, both were average in taste.

Located in mall road of darjelling. I was looking for south indian food so visited here during trip to darjeeling.&nbsp;<br/>Order masala dosa which was average in taste, dosa should be more crispy and shambar was also like mix veg vegetable curry.

This place is one of the oldest veg restaurants in the town. Just because of the age of this place, many people refer this place to tourists for veg food.<br/><br/>But i am gonna give you enough reasons why you should stay away from this place -<br/><br/>> Pricing might seem to be on a lower side initially but dont get fooled bcz the quantity is half of the normal plates. Dishes like Dal makhani costs ₹100 approx but the quantity is very low. Only enough for one person at max.<br/><br/>> No service. Only self service. You have to ask for everything, plates, spoons , bowls, etc<br/><br/>> Remains crowded and looks like a fish market bcz of the location and age of this outlet.<br/><br/>> No handwash basin . Although there is space to build one but there isnt any. Just imagine, no place to wash your hands after eating main course of indian cuisine.<br/><br/>> Taste of the food sucks. A few items might be ok. But majority (90%) are totally worthless.<br/><br/>> They charge ₹70 for a plate of steamed rice but the quantity is only one mid size vegetable bowl.<br/><br/>> Told them 15 times to use less oil in the main course dishes but nobody cared. Simple food on a budget. that pretty much sums up Hasty Tasty. Don't expect to be bowled over by deliciousness, but it's good, functional fare. Our group had dal makhani and chola batura, and it was quite nice.<br/><br/>The food can sometimes take a while because the place does tend to get crowded, but with the ticketing system, you can be fairly sure that they won't forget your order.

We ordered chowmein and idli. It's a prepaid self service restaurant. The taste and quantity of chowmein were fine but not for idli. There were only 2 pieces. Sambar and coconut chutney were also less. They charge extra for taking more sambar.

Very bad service. Owner is with bad attitude. Avoid going to this place. They take long time for service. And owner is a bad guy. Owner doesn't care about customer.

Talking about the cleanliness its highly unhygienic.<br/><br/>Poor quality of good ordered hot and sour soup it was yuck in taste and seemed like as if they have added only imli water. Also, the dinner ordered was not up to the mark it was worst experience.<br/><br/>In short worst food ever had in my life. <br/>

It is in main market food is not that much tasty. We had pau bhaji, aloo paratha and chilli potato. Bhaji was not tasty at all. Don't order pau bhaji and aloo paratha here. Chilli potato was better then other two.

Their chef cannot cook, and the owner does not understand the concept of common courtesy. They have really long wait times and I'm 100% sure was this restaurant located anywhere other than on a secluded hill station they would've had to close down a long time ago.

This is a veg restaurant with some amazing food they serve. They have a self service system, they call you by the number which you get while placing the order.<br/><br/>I had veg sandwich and hot chocolate from here. Went here today for dinner with family. We ordered Dosa, Masala Dosa, Chana bhatura, Chowmein and Chilly potato. Food was average and not upto the hype. The restaurant has self service system and the minimum time is 20-30 mins to get our order ready.

Tried this outlet while i visited Darjeeling. Its a veteran in the crowded mall road in darjeeling.<br/>I tried the fried and steamed momos, were okayish in taste.<br/>Hot chocolate was well prepared.

Food: Awful in one word. They simply cannot make any Chinese items. Chowmein was disgusting, fried rice was poor. They do not have momos in stock most of the time. Even Indian items like Chola Batura, Alu Paratha are poorly made, very dry and inconsistent. Cheese toast had only a few thin strands of cheese.<br/>Alongwith taste, the quality of the ingredients is also low.<br/><br/>Price: On the higher side considering the poor food quality.<br/><br/>Ambience: Simple, dirty and not at all maintained.<br/><br/>I am giving them 2 stars only because they have a nice food ticketing system.

We dropped in here for breakfast.I loved the ambience here as well just a bit crowded at times because of the rush.We tried out dosa,uttapam, chole bature & few more items which i don't recall.I would recommend this eatery!!

Which was so so....<br/>The masala dosa was good...<br/>And the chapati and mix veg was also good ..<br/>The price is reasonable...and the staffs are polite and courteous...<br/>You may have to wait to find a place to sit...<br/>One can stand and look at the way the whole cooking process is being done ..<br/>
