Review Biryani Baar - Darjeeling

The chicken Biriyani was superb. From the monotonous availability of momos, chowmein and bread omlete at Darjeeling, it was great feeling to eat the Biriyani. The biriyani was different from the usual Bengal biriyani. We called them before coming and they waited for us with the chicken Biriyani. Great hospitality.

We had a lunch here last year. The food is adorable price and very delicious fresh. It's family owned resturant with friendly service. They served authentic style biriyani it's smells different and so delicious. Highly recommend this place. Owner is a very gentle person.

Probably best biriyani in Darjeeling, went to try this place after seeing so many great reviews, and was not disappointed, service is fast, biriyani, their signature item was a real treat, specially the mutton biriyani, rice was soft, mildly spicy, mutton peices were succulent and tasty, even better than many biriyani joints in Kolkata whose main focus is on the mandatory Alu above all else, Overall I recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty biriyani.

Had one of the best mutton biriyani experience over here. It's was quite delicious and the quantity was sufficient for a single person. I could say this is one of the best I have tasted in bengal so far. Even the chicken meal was tasty.

This restaurant in Darjeeling thrives on serving home food. Its preparation including different chicken and mutton items is quite similar to what one makes at home, of course with a local tinge typical of Darjeeling. Halal food served. The owners also host you like their guest, trying to fulfill your appetite needs within the limits of their menu. A good collection of soft music plays in the background. There can be improvement on the infrastructure front, but the current setting may also be to avoid giving an out and out commercial location feel

I am from Hyderabad and I know how original biryani tastes. I came here with no expectation but to my surprise I found the best biryani here. I was dying to eat some good rice and I found best biryani here. Must try mutton biriyani and fish fry. Very affordable highly delicious 😋. Far from home found delicious biryani here. Thank you Alex bro for such a friendly experience. You look tired take some rest.

Excellent halal food, excellent staff behaviour, great atmosphere, reasonable price. Overall a very good experience during one of my stays in Darjeeling with family. Even the owners are very very polite and makes sure their customers are happy and content with the food and services.

Just opposite goenka petrol pump. Mutton Biriyani and mutton curry is just awesome. They also have Indian meals and chinese dishes.Very neat and clean restaurant. Mutton curry costs just 120. A must go restaurant in Darjeeling.
