Review Ellora's Bakery - Dehradun

Athira Balakrishnan
Charming old school bakery. I am not from Dehradun, but could tell on my first visit to the bakery that it is an old place loved by people and trusted for its tasty dishes to offer. I wasn't wrong, the chocolate eclair was amazing. I also had an apple pie which was equally good.

Ellora's is one of the best bakery in Dehradun. It has been my absolute favourite since last 3 years. This bakery is not only familiar to doonites but people from other cities are also familiar with Ellora's. They've variety of desserts such as cake, pastries, brownies, cupcakes, muffins, cookies and much more. I'm in love their dessert. They also serve snacks, so is the perfect place for snacking. Ellora's special rusks are famous. I'll recommend you people to visit them atleast once for dessert and bakery products.

their milk toast is the best and whenever we are in Dehradun , we do buy a few....also try their Cale rusk. Awesome with tea. The shop owner mr. surender is a wonderful person. All stuff available is super. Do also try their chicken patties and paneer rolls.
Garima Agarwal
The oldest among all the existing Elloras. Love the cheese patties and the butter chocolate pastry. The plum cake and the pista biscuits are it's trademark
Priyanka Iyer
Typical old school bakery and very famous for the milk toast. When visiting Dehradun / Mussoorie, you do not have many gifting options for you to take back home. Just go to plain old Elloras for getting Milk rusk and an amazing assortment of cookies. Their stuff is very fresh and loved by everyone. They have everything from cakes, to pies and tarts as well as chocolate eclairs

Pankaj Bafna
One of the oldest bakers in Dehradun famous for their pastries and cold coffee. Itā€™s nice to visit old places. Everything is good, but nothing fantastic.

Satisfy your palate here at the plethora of savouries, each better than the other! Old word charm in modern environment. A must visit in Dun valley

Dehradun's oldest bakery Old Ellora's serves some droolworthy cheese balls and trust me, when I say so. The first time I visited Ellora's was in 2016, when I came to Dehradun for higher studies and work. I had tried a lot of baked products and have no complaints so far. I had this cheesy beauty back in February this year during a solo food trip in Ashtley hall. What I love about this quick snack is, it is simple in its own way, creates no fuss at all, has two of my favourite ingredients potato and cheese which almost overpowers my emotions to have one more (probably that "One more" thing continues until my "Tummy khush hota hain"). What I love more about this cheese ball here especially is due to its elongated shape. I mean, I couldn't be more thankful for the "No sphere" concept. Also it is lightly spiced (read it, sigh of relief for me) and crisp to perfection. Special mention for the cold coffee. Deserves a bow.

Bakery is quiet old even my parent use to take a stop when they where in school so itā€™s that old and I believe it hasnā€™t lost taste since then.
Subhash Soliyal
Best ever cakes from here.. You can also buy all birthday items from here... Here is many varities of cakes with new designs.. I bought a chocolate from here and it was too yummy.. The cake bas is sooo soft... Cream is also good... Little issue of parking here... Rather than no issues in cakes and its taste...
Tankadhar Tanti
Best place to buy bakery products especially cake. Fresh, tasty, and reasonable prices for all bakery products, must visit.

Must visit if you are in Dehradun. Donā€™t fall the fake one just on the right of it. The cakes, pastries, the rusk, and snacks are absolutely delicious.

One of the best place for buying bakery products. Not only People living in doon but also people from other cities are familiar with the name. Pista Biscuits, Atta biscuits, sticky toffee are few of the items you can buy

Cannot resist confectionery, and I've got so many recommendations on Ellora. Upon my recent visit to Dehradun, I stumbled upon this bakery and picked so much to eat! Got a lot back in Lucknow, and my fam's going gaga over how amazing the food is. Specially the biscuits, rusks, wheat puffs & banana chips!
GAuRav GuSaiN
Amazing experience as usual...ordered fast-food n g pastries totally up to the expection and freshly done..staff is very helpful and well mannered loved the place
Reshita Pokhriyal
I ordered fruit cake for birthday they sent dry cake. Had to go back to return the cake to the shop. No courtesy was shown they instead just blamed Zomato. They then gave fruit cake which I ordered. They gave me the cake at Rs460 which was a 1 pound cake. Which I got to know is actually for 300 something.

Just writing this review so that you are careful before ordering from here<br/>Very bad experience ordered cake directly from them and have ordered a chocolate pineapple cake and they delivered a plain vanilla cake underneath the dressing just very disappointing<br/>Look and check before you order from here

I usually donā€™t give 5 stars that easily but this place is so good that I canā€™t stop myself.. every item in the shop is tasty.. their dry cakes and cookies take it all.. you must visit this shop and get something packed for your home when you are in dehradun..
Malhar Lakdawala
Visited this place on recommendation of my friend. Didn't enjoy anything we had here. Red velvet pastry was very hard and rough. Nothing like smooth ones. Caramelized chocolates etc also were okish. Nothing great about this.<br/>Though it is an old outlet.. may be it was not our day..
Abhinav Pandey
Worst service by the bakery. Doesn't provide fresh products. The staff is not at all friendly. It is highly recommended not to order and fall ill.
Ishaan Batra
Picked up some bakery stuff from Elloras while crossing through Dehradun . The Chocolate pastry was simply yum . Itā€™s so different from the ones you get in Delhi . It was pure buttercream. The filling of the lemon tarts was good but the tart was kind of undercooked. Also found the walnut tarts pretty dry.
Rashi Tamta
nice šŸ˜Š

This place is perfect for snacking, with a wide variety of cakes and desserts they also serve snacks such as Kulcha, Mix veg patties and so more.. They also serve freshly baked breads and rusks. Do try their chocochip cookies and walnut brownie

chocolate truffle pastry is very good and the rumball is also nice..but this bakery does not have red velvet pastry in their online ordering menu card.. please add that also

Anurag Singh Chauhan
I ordered for blackforest cake through Zomato but was delivered a basic chocolate cake...when I shared my concern with the Zomato guys..they were helpful and connected me to the shop directly...Apparently the Elloras person was convincing me that it is their version of blackforest cake..and this is how they do it....It was so stupid of him to think that customers does not know the difference between two flavours..

Studying in Dehradun ,Elloras had always been an absolute favourite when I was a child. I don't even remember the amount of times I've packed bagfuls of bakery and confectionery from here in all those years. Even though there were a number of things I used to love from here , 3 things were my absolute favourite here. So while passing through Dehradun this time ,I decided to stop by and pack my favourites from here.<br/>The Lemon tarts , the Walnut tarts and The Chocolate Buttercream pastry . The simple Chocolate Buttercream pastry had the same taste I'd had in my childhood . Just cake and Chocolate Buttercream . If it wasn't for the calories ,I could have eaten 10 probably. The Crunchy Walnut tarts were good too but the tart shells in the Lemon tarts were undercooked and I wished they were a bit more buttery and flaky. Also tried the Honey Almond Cake which was really soft and delicious.<br/><br/>

MUCH HYPED BAKERY. These words perfectly define the outlet. They may have been the best in the past but it's below average now.<br/>I bought doughnut which were as hard as wood bought fruitcake, it was having a raw egg smell. Bought plum cake, raw egg smell again.<br/>The most pathetic part I found out yesterday when I visited there, I saw cockroaches enjoying on the bakery items inside the showcase counter out of which they were selling the food.<br/>Even upon showing them the filth, the person on counter just ignored it like it's my fault.<br/>Shame is the word for this.<br/><br/>Be very careful while having anything from here.<br/>Nany's is much better option. Best is to avoid this outlet.

the mutton samomsa i ordered, its meat was smelling and so was the chicken burger. This is not expected by elloras such a known shop, which has a such big name.

A nice sweet old place that is significantly famous whenever one talks about Dehradun.<br/>You may find some other bakeries serving better items than here but trust me the rusk are a must try if you visit this place. I don't have a sweet tooth so never tried all the cake/bakery items but still I don't mind visiting this place whenever we visit or pass through Dehradun. Overall an average bakery with only few good options but for the outsiders the bakery products might act an a sovereigns.
Ulfet Tirmizi
Red velvet cake was average. Please taste the red velvet cupcake at Glen's Bakehouse in Bangalore to know what real red velvet should taste like. Ellora's, like many places in Dehradun, is praised highly by the locals, but is overrated as hell, and I feel quite sad for these people who will never know what a good bakery is. I like their breads, though, for the sheer variety. Got some chicken sandwiches from here as well, and they barely contained any chicken.
Kavita Garg
It has a good variety of cakes and sweets. Its has a wide range of bakery items too and worth trying. Explore it and you will love it. I visit it every time i go there.<br/>

On Christmas , we decided to satiate our sweet tooth with Elloraā€™s confectionaries. The boyfriend bought some plum cake . And I gorged on a minced pie ! The pista cookies were the most celebrated and hence we bought one packet each ! Very satisfied and mighty reasonable :) do not miss this out on your next visit to Doon !

I've been here a lot of times since I was a kid. So I've been a customer to this place for over a decade and what can I say? The food here makes me nostalgic. We ordered this black forest cake for a special occasion and the cake only made it more special! The cake was perfectly moist and soft and delicious. The apple pie was a little on the sweet side but still delicious! Wanted to have the lemon tart but it was unavailable that day, but I can tell you it's delicious. Definitely worth visiting!

good fooding quality...nice and well mannered staff <br/>its locayed in a good location and i tried some good starters which i liked alot..<br/>good work..keep goingā˜ŗā˜ŗ

Highly overrated but still a decent bakery in Dehradun. They are famous for their stick jaw toffees which is available in two flavours- Plain and Chocolate. They also have a wide range of freshly baked cakes and biscuits. Nothing spectacular but still for old times sake, good for one trip. One of the two shops, advertised as original shop has small seating section where you can order patties, slush , pastries.

We have been living in Dehradun since long. We always place order for Cakes at Ellora.Ā  The Cakes of Ellora are really delicious, fresh and tempting. Ellora is a place for Tongue Tingling Temptations 3T. Zomato Coupons are there at Couponzpoint.com
Rashmi Rashh Kanti
Sesame seed rolls were awesome. Garlic Roll was stale. Cakes were as usual appealing. Will not recommend some of their baked snacks items like Garlic Roll and Paneer roll. Rest is okay.
Utkarsh Kalwar
best place for bakery, desert. my first choice of item over here used to be cheese patties , pastries and other Bakery items. And you can always find cakes for birthdays and parties

Finest bakery shop in Dehradun, it is famous in all corners of India, their cakes are totally yum and delicious, do try their plum cakes which are best, biscuits are also the finest to offer, be it any product you wont regret at all. Had many parties at their place and still its our favorite.
Letslearn_to_live
Ellora's is one of the oldest and famous bakery in Dehradun. They serve some of the best cakes in the city and the shop is known for its confictionary products. Although there is not a big place to sit but the cheese sandwich and tarts are amazing. The lemon tart has a tinch of sweet and sour taste while the chocolate serves best for chocolate lovers. Tarts are a must try here.
Miss_live_to_eat āœ”ļø
It's the one and only Elloras after all. It will never ever disappoint you, whatever you choose to eat. No picks really. Each item, be it the simplest patty or the heaviest pastries, all are equally scrumptious. Elloras and Melting Moments are to Doonites what cherry Is to a cake. Both thumbs up.
The Famished Eater
One of the oldest Baker and confectionery shop in Dehradun, offers wide and vivid range of cakes, pastries, cookies. <br/><br/>You'll always find this place crowded with people. <br/>The place also offers some dry snacks to buy.
Laxita Soontha
Expensive as compared to other bakeries but if you are in dehradun everyone should come here and enjoy the goodness of pastries, cake<br/>The cake is always fresh and yummy<br/>One should Definitely give it a try I love it's cream too and softness of Bread
Anubhuti(@foodierabbits)
Ellora's is a renowned place providing awesome cakes. It is indeed one of the best bakery in town.<br/>We had the vanilla jam cake recently which was delicious and worth the money. I have always loved their chocolate truffle cake.
Rishi Prateem Dash
We ordered chocolate truffle cake which was nice...tasty..chocolate was fresh and melting..the cake was delicious and flavourful...but the service is pathetic..rude behaviour of some staffs..but staffs are humble and nice..overall taste 9/10..service 6/10..value for money 7/10.
Archita Shalini
One of the best bakeries the town has. Red velvet cake is a must try for this place. Pineapple and chocolate pastries are yums. Every fourth person in Dehradun would have had his birthday cake from here once in there lifetime. The bakery biscuits are also nice.
Agrim Chaudhary
One of the oldest bakery in town !! Still the same great taste that we used to enjoy during the school days !! Everything is yum from pastries to cakes to the special toffees that they make . Hands down the best bakery in town
Surabhi Gupta
Ellora's is a brand in dehradun and it is worth to be called so. The most surprising thing is that they have maintained their authenticity till date. They have so many branches now that it has become difficult to different between authentic and fake.<br/><br/>The best bakery in dehradun āœŒ

Like this Bakery..as it is too old ,,but somewhere this line suits on this "old is gold"" <br/><br/><br/>I shop from here "cake" which is too yummy ..I also buy mouth freshener,,cookies ,, toffee...nice place

My first priority is, "Ellora 's bakers and confectioners" when it comes to cakes, pastries and any other bake items in Doon. I have always loved the quality they serve. During my childhood, I used to visit here with my father and mother and now, I am continuing the same legacy with my daughter and son. This is the USP of this shop. They have never compromised with the quality of their products.
Ayan Sadhu
A good old bakery shop to make you smile. You will get lots of stuff which you won't get anywhere else in this city. And the best part is they make awesome cake according to your requirement. Lets have a look:<br/>(in the gallery)
Social Tahelka
One of the oldest and famous confectioneries of Dehradun, Ā known for the variety of cakes and pastries. But its cookies and rusks are demanded through out the country. Butter toffee is also tongue taste of the customers.
Ruchi Sehgal
I have to admit Ellora's made me feel like the prince Charming searching for Cinderella (although I never want to feel like a prince, being overly feminine), but just like that search for the perfect fit of shoe, I had been searching the original old Ellora's all across the city. It took me a long time to finally discover the right spot!<br/><br/>A small outlet stuffed with a variety of cakes, cookies, biscuits, rusks, Ā snacks and other baked items, Ellora's is like a wonder bakery and confectionery. The attending staff is warm and makes sure they give you their best and fresh serves.Ā <br/><br/>We began with the famous Doon rusks and muffins. The quality of baked items was so impressive that we took no second thoughts in buying a cake for my parents' anniversary celebration too.Ā <br/><br/>Now being a resident of Chandigarh and not Doon, I wanted something which had longer shelf-life, so we opted for the carrot cake. Yet at the same time, they were generous enough to do the chocolate sauce icing over the dry cake too, which is kind of rare. We didn't even have a refrigerator in the guest house room to keep it, yet the cake complied to its freshness and softness for more than 10 days, which was remarkable!<br/><br/>Ellora's experiment with their recipes by making sets of Ā mini cakes and muffins, one such set was red velvet choco-chip muffins and chocolate walnut muffins. Once again, the freshness was intact, and above all, the red velvet cake was moist and soft, with a hint of natural sugars. The chocolate walnut muffin had a usual taste, although it tasted more like a solid brownie.<br/><br/>Getting rusks is no big deal in Doon, but something that attracted me the most were their Mini-rusks. Such things are quite beneficial for people like me who find the huge rusks hard and messy. These mini bites are not too hard and don't scatter around much either.<br/><br/>The counter has a display of confectionery items and an array of candies which are rarely found in hyper stores! I don't remember when was the last time when I saw those candies shaped like orange segments, in different flavours such as - orange, cola and even mint! Other than that there were small packets of imli goli and other tangy after-meal refreshments which are rarely seen these days.Ā <br/><br/>So finally after a ride through the city, I reached the real Ellora's, the one which is incomparable.
Dr.Soumya Prakash
Heared a lot about this place<br/>About their rusk and biscuits<br/>Overall experience was not so good nothing so new about this stuff..<br/>Lots of rush here.that is little problematic.
Gajendra Khanna
All Doonites know this bakery very well. Its a landmark and one can't miss it on Rajpur Road. Their short eats and bakery items are known all over Dehradun. Serves one of the best pineapple pastry one can get anywhere
Atmatriptfood
From rusks to there famous butter tofee n there cookies everything is good n worth trying have it n get packed on ur way to mussourie n dehradoon
Ishita Dubey
Fresh cakes in shape, size, form and flavor of your choice. I have had multiple cakes from this bakery and they have never disappointed me. From cake in form of MARLBORO to a water melon lookalike cake my experience has been great. They give perfect form to your idea. Prices are reasonable and staff is cordial. Try this place if you want unconventional birthday cake for your bestie!
Rashmi Manish
The location of the bakery is perfect, you can easily get there. I was visiting with my family to Mussorrie and given the hype, we decided to go to their shop. I visited their oldest shop in Dehradun, and was quite amused by the collection they have. I bought a lot of stuff from there but unfortunately they did not live up to expectations as the products were definitely a few days old and lost all taste and texture.Ā <br/><br/>Apple Pie - Great in taste<br/>White forest pastry - old<br/>Choco chip pastry - old and hardĀ <br/>Doughnut - hard and dry<br/>Cashew tart - old<br/>Brownies - old and smelly<br/>Chocolate eclairs - the filling was stale and smelly<br/><br/>Rest all I can say that I wont visit the place again!
Akanksha Joshi
If you are a Doonite, you cannot just miss this place for deserts and much more. Pocket friendly pizzas and varieties of cakes and pastries. Do try the chocolate cold coffee and the mini mushroom pizza here, also the panner pattie here is out of the world.
Franky Gupta
Love this place for the rusksĀ and the toffees. I remember when i was a kid we used to buy cakes from this place and the plain pineapple cakes that had slices of pineapple and cherries on the sides tasted yummy!
Tushar Chaudhary
Tea time cakes and rusks! One of the oldest family run bakeries of the valley.
Prabhdeep Singh Baweja
Ellora's, a great place with great name for trying great bakery and confectionary products ! Over the years, the place has served and carried the legacy of providing great bakery products ! All my experiences have been amazing which goes in line with the amazing status of this amazing place !
Ankit
i never visited the place but heard a lot about it so thought to give a try as a cousin of mine who resides at doon brought me some stickyjaws n actually they were awesome i would love to visit the place the next time i visit dehradoon
Iramm Bidawat(The Food Hogger)
I visited this place in Feb,i found it to be highly over hyped, there;s nothing great about the products,i visited this on a friend's insistence but was disappointed........................Fail to understand this enormous hype
Bedanta Chakraborty
I don't really understand the enormous amount of hype this place has had. According to reviews I've read it is supposed to be a really good and old bakery. Old, it might be; good? I have my reservations. I had an apple pie, and honestly, I didn't like it much! I mean I didn't hate it, but again I didn't love it. Because, when you see really good reviews automatically your expectation increases. And the same happened to me; I know that it would be wrong to judge a place by its apple pie, but also my friend who had a couple of things didn't like it much. Hence the review.<br/><br/>Happy eating.
Dr. Sahai
Dehradun has been synonymous with Ellora's, among other notable reasons. Especially so for the 'butter sweets' or 'stickjaws'. Interesting enough, the stickjaw nature has now given way to a buttery caramel feel to the sweet delicacy. A 100 gms packet can be a tad expensive but what the hell, it's a delicacy and delight of Dehradun. A confectionery that has seen the splitting of the family brand name into various stores bearing the same name. However, the original store remains the one that is first of the two that are opposite to Baskin & Robins at Astley Hall. I do feel personally that the quality of their pastries has taken a hit. But the name sells on.

''Ellora's Meltting point''<br/>''BAKERS''<br/>As I have been there twice so already had left a review for their Rolls and Sandwiches...<br/>But need to post a new for their desserts as well....<br/>I had ordered<br/>Almond Cookies<br/>Choco Chip Cookies<br/>Meltting Cookies<br/>Lemon Tart Pastry(Highly recommend)*<br/>Rum Balls<br/>Fruit Pasty(Highly recommend)*<br/>etc.<br/>Well I enjoyed alot...<br/>All of their products are amazing....except Rumballs,<br/>almond and Choco cookies almost same in taste...<br/>As i already said it is a nice place for spending time with your Friends...Situated near maine Rajpur road....<br/><br/>Desserts 4.0<br/>Rolls n Sandwiches 4.5<br/>Staff 3.0<br/>Cleanliness 4.0<br/>Presentation 4.0<br/>Decoration 3.5<br/>Sitting arrangements 3.5<br/><br/>Overall a good experience....

The best bakery in town. They have prompt service and a huge collection of confectionery. They also offer rum chocolate which you can customise. Overall a awesome experience.
Prashant Chandola
Because of this bakery i don't have six pack abs :P i can't resist their biscuits and cakes...best bakery in town..My fav since childhood...
Shubhangni Jain
I don't know why this place is hyped so much. Maybe it was good before but now its so bad. The truffle is so average. I'd rather eat it at some other place. The cheese cake was nothing like a cheese cake. It looked more like a purplish strawberry pastry. I don't know what it was but it was definitely not cheese cake. One thing I expected would be good was black Forest but it wasn't and lastly I wanted to puke the carrot cake
Vaibhav Agarwal
Their paneer Patty is gud in taste ..<br/><br/>But they r famous for their Grilled Sandwich ... Nd their Grilled Sandwich was Gazaab in taste ..<br/><br/>Do try ... :-)
Shantanu Agarwal
Have been visiting this place since my school days when we used to bunk classes and paid visit here to have it's famous Grilled Sandwitch! Overall a decent place, quite spacious to accommodate 30 to 40 customers! Lots of confectionary and bakery items available which are fresh and fantastic! Little overpriced due to name in the town!
Mohini Negi
A must stop on my every visit to Dehradun or Mussorie. The pure ghee biscuits are amazing and so soft that they just melt in ur mouth leaving the rich flavour behind. My favorite is the pista biscuit.
Anushka Arora
A decent place to grab some deserts with friends. <br/><br/>Ambience: is okayish, nothing really pretty.<br/>Price is reasonable, a big variety of deserts and chocolates available. <br/><br/>Truffle pastry is worth having. <br/><br/>Rusks lovers: do grab one. <br/>
Vivek Sharma
Although this is one of the oldest bakeries and claim to be the original elloras as opposed to the splinter factions " home aids " and "melting moments" they have failed to innovate and serve the same listless uninteresting stuff, the dated well past its expiry date is felt the moment you step inside this place and by the frowns you get from their owners and staff. Just steer clear from all the elloras , there are much better places in this town. Special caution is advised when purchasing their multi grain bread.
Ayush Garg
Very bad...i was told by some online platform like "Zomato" that elloras is a place to eat..but i find it distasteful and the quality was very poor..
Anmol Garg
I'm a long time admirer of this bakery. My grandparents still get their bread from Ellora's only. Our whole family loves this shop. Its pista biscuits are quite good and a must have for evening tea. Pastries are worth a try.Ā <br/><br/>PS: If you ever visit this place, carry back the Butter Pista Biscuits for your friends and family. You will not regret it.
Ahsaas Tarwani
Went in on the recommendation by localites. Though it was Sunday evening and crowded but the owners were as gentle as possible and were great hosts! The plum cakes were delicious and tasted fresh. Try out their brownies, I hadn't had like those in a while. As a modulus operandi when in such confectionaries, u eat some and pack loads! Bought in rusks, pista and almond cookies. Chocolate toffees and yet again some chocolate cookies and plum cake, all at par with the Ellora's hype. As all reviewers insist, this place must have atleast a small slab of time in ur Doon itinerary.<br/>PS. Ellora's also have a eat-in a few metres ahead in the same lane and side if u wanna try their other bread products and snacks!
Taran Puri
This is a amazing bakery shop with a lot of cookies my favourite are almonds and the legendary atta biscuits <br/>But the best is the stick jaws which comes in caramel and chocolate flavour <br/>Also tried their chicken kulcha which was amazing <br/>If I'm Dehradun this bakery shop should not be missed
Kkamaljit Siddhu
I visited this place with lots & lots of hope as I heard a lot about bakeries of Dehradun. I selected the so called best.... visited & tasted food. Found food & preparation very average. Very normal patties veg, paneer & mushroom. Nothing special. Pastries were also average & not very soft. I have had better bakery stuff.....much better than this in Delhi/ NCR bakeries. Staff was also ok. May be cookies & rusks are better as I haven't checked that. But the myth about Dehradun got clear.
Ibad Hanif
A must visit if u r in dun. <br/>The best part is the plum cakes no one can even compare to what they churn out. <br/>Chocolate eclairs is a pastry which they serve with chocolate cream inside unlike the way you get all across the country with a vanila cream inside. <br/>Risks are great as well. <br/>Patties are fresh and nice. <br/>Have been a fan for decades, my dun trip is incomplete without going here.

The iconic bakery of D Dun.Weekends you will find hoards of school kids and parents stocking up on "Tuck", The biscuits are legendry as are the pastries(pineapple a hot favorite) and after Kwalities closed many years back the place to buy the popular "KwalToff"!! Sticky toffee for the irregulars. Chocolate and cream eclairs are still yum and taste the same as yesteryears !! Cold coffee is good ,milky . Sorry that the ever popular "Bulls Eye" mint has gone out of production.Elloras is a must visit for all thoseĀ  who have spent time in D Dun and a suggested stop to passerbys and new comers.

Talk about Bakery - Talk about Elloras. I have eaten at various bakeries across the country including the famous "Karachi" bakery. Elloras just stands out. Nothing can beat its Cream Rolls and Ā Pista biscuits.<br/><br/>I have been a childhood admirer and continue to do so..

The Ellora Bakery needs no introduction. Being delhite I knew there is some famous Bakery and I casually asked that way only to reach their shop. <br/>No exaggerations they are worth their fame. Although they are famous for their rusks. But that is not the end of their goodness. It's just a beginning. <br/>Be there and enjoy their products. East some get packed a lot. That is what happens there.

Itā€™s the most known and popular bakery in dehradhun. On route from dehradhun to mussoorie, had to visit them for nostalgia, donā€™t seem the same feel as before. Bought the Plum cake and the sticky toffee for family at home :).

Elloras has created a benchmark in the city and the legacy continues. Freshly baked cakes, cookies and pastries with namkeen and cold coffee are hot selling items of the shop. The aroma instantly attracts you and gives you a feel good factor. Located on main road, the shop is quiet, neat and well maintained. Must visit for all.

The best part of Dehra Dun and many of it's eateries are their signature dishes and items. Talking of Ellora's, they have a whole range of confectionery, biscuits, cookies, rusks and cakes. However, to my memory their Chocolate Eclair has been a stand out. It is perfected done, with just the right amount of chocolate and cream. Their toffees are popular and one has to be careful since they do stick to the teeth. Beware, people with braces.Ā <br/><br/>Great place, full of tradition and goodness!

Elloras bakery is one of the best bakery brand across Dehradun. Besides other things Dehradun is famous for its bakery and Elloras is a prominent name. My friends from NCR often request me to bring along Elloras bakery rusk and a special toffee they make called the sticky candies since it sticks in your jaws. <br/>
