Review Cafe De Piccolo - Dehradun

This cafe is an absolute bundle of cuteness. Serves delicious food, staff is polite and the service is great. Must try dishes over here are alfredo pasta and hot chocolate. Also, do try their cakes. I loved their carrot tea and banana walnut tea ones.

This quaint cafe was completely worth the visit. It had everything from a beautiful ambience to wonderful food. A must visit on your next visit to Dehradun if you'd like to have a warm cup of coffee while sitting in a warm fuzzy corner! I'm definitely going back again :)

The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. staff was very friendly and make good recommendation. We ordered white sauce pasta, farmhouse pizza and 2 shakes and it was DELICIOUS. Some may find it a bit expensive but it's worth going once in a while.

An absolutely gorgeous place to sit with your date, have coffee, eat their wide variety of food and just chill. I feel, the window seats (bar styled seats) would feel even more awesome when it rains. Look outside, sip your coffee, read a book - ah, absolutely perfect! Do visit this place atleast once if you're in Doon and you will NOT be disappointed! ❤️

Its a super cute cafe. I had the best veg lasagne of my life. It was superb.Hazelnut Latte was amazing. Staff was so cool. Ambience is cozy, cute and comfortable. Its a must visit place. Gonna come here again…

What a homely cozy ambience this cafe has ❤️ visited it twice in a week. Every corner of this place is authentic and has unique items. Food was again good. Highlight was mango ice tea. Loved the pasta here. Price can be lower a bit. Service was very good. The staff is very attentive.

I visited this café as a tourist and absolutely loved its vibe, ambiance and ordered amazing Pizza, fries, garlic bread, hot chocolate and mouth drooling White Sauce Pasta😋..if you are in Dehradun then this place is highly recommended..also the serving guys were decently dressed and were very soft spoken ☺️.

Great food and ambience with very friendly staff. The swiss hot chocolate is incredible. We also has avocado toast, piccolo special sandwich, pizza, onion rings and veg lasagne, all of which were great. Banoffee pie was average.

Good place for a hearty meal. Nice ambience, good music, good service. Although I just had a veg sandwich and an espresso which was nice. Well toasted bread with chilled crisp veges. Staff was well presented. Just a small suggestion on menu planning, need to make small changes here and there so not to loose customers. Thank you.

Perfectly located place with soothing ambience has its own beautiful soul { check out before and after pics of the place }.Like a small Spanish country side cafe with peaceful instrumental symphonies in the background. Christmas pudding ,banofie pie, waffles are best in town. Its neat clean and tidy in all aspects which is of utmost importance. If you are a coffee-being this is heaven. They have set Some serious standard and class as a cafe.

Cafe de Picolo is a chic cafe that looks European in its origin located in Rajpur Road. We had an All Cheesy Pizza which was just as we liked it - thin and crispy. The Chicken Paella was served in a cast iron skillet and was also tasty.<br/>This is definitely a welcome addition to the Dehradun eateries. Whether you came here alone for a coffee and cake or with friends or a small family group you will find the ambience and service to be very good.

This cafe has a beautiful location in Rajpur between Musurie diversion and the famous Sai Temple.It is a very beautiful cafe and its location adds up to to the value of this cafe.It has both indoor and outdoor seating and it is one of the most crowded cafes of the city.Most of the times you have to wait for the seating.This cafe can be visited with friends as well as family. It also features light english songs.It has chairs as well as mattresses for reclining.If interested in spending quality time then you should go to the upper seating.When I visited this cafe I saw people in the age group 50-60 visiting this cafe.You could also find many foreigners visiting this cafe due to plethora of food options being available. This cafe is famous for coffee and I saw varieties of tea and coffee options in the menu. I went there with my friend and we ordered chicken lasagne ,chicken cheese grilled sandwich and cold coffee and I was mesmerised by the presentation and the friendly staff.I tried lasagne for the first time and I liked it. But the problem was we were only 2 people and the food that we ordered was very heavy. We could hardly finish the lasagne so we left it. I also found the rates very high .Cost for two people is 1000 approx. But this is a must visit cafe in dehradun.

What a lovely place in whole of Dehradun. Situated in a really prime location, what a quaint ambience inside and outside. Such beautiful decoration and staff that I would recommend it to everyone. The hazelnut coffee is the best that I tried there.people visiting doon , please visit this place if you’re coffee lover.

Perfect place for any social group. A sweet, cozy spot for couples, a cool, budget-friendly café for that weekend outing with college/school friends and a warm, homely place for those special family dinners. The vivid, colourful ambience of the café is only accentuated by the feeling of having had a meal cooked with love and care. Choose to sit-in or relish in the crisp Dehradun air by sitting outside. You cannot go wrong here.

Nice cozy place for hangouts. The shakes were pretty good. However, the Hazelnut Latte was not upto the mark. When u order Cappuccino or Latte you expect the coffee to be with some art, in this case it was missing (as u can see in photos). The staff was not at all flexible as we wanted to order a Pizza with Half BBQ Chicken and Half with Veg Toppings and the staff simply refused to accept this request. After lot of discussions they accepted to give us Half BBQ Chicken and Half Margherita Pizza but i never understood what they achieved by not putting some veggies.

Great place!! When you enter the cafe the vibe is so different it's a beautiful cafe inside and the food is also amazing. White sauce pasta is very delicious and must try. Peach iced tea is also good.

I really enjoy Cafe De Picollo, as it is one of the few places in Dehradun which has a warm and cozy vibe and always has a Christmasy feel to it.<br/><br/>I really like their decor and from their menu I would recommend the following:<br/><br/>1. Caramel Latte<br/>2. Grilled Chicken Sandwich<br/>3. Tomato Pasta Veg<br/>4. Bannoffee Pie<br/><br/>They always have great service and good food, sit with your friends on their upstairs lounge on the mattress seating, it is always fun.

I feel the portion size is a bit less and most importantly the taste of anything in the menu is just okay , nothing great. From coffee to sandwiches everything tastes like home food which isn't i go out and pay for.

Although the ambience looks insta worthy but it absolutely doesn’t justify the prize they charge, we should be always vigilant of prize we feel right about a place that looks nice and spend lavishly feeling justified. The coffee is same as rest of coffee shops excluding some pseudo Spanish dishes which charges mountains. Don’t make rich richer, don’t get sold into market vicious cycle.

Had heard lot about this place. Place is nicely located. Has good roadside parking. It has outdoor sitting too. Looks are deliberately designed very exotic and not local. Food is good but servings are small. Slightly expensive. But I imagine more serving/size of the dish for this price.

This place is awesome. We were on the checkout of good places to have a cup of coffee along with some munchies and snacks and Cafe De Piccolo didn't disappoint. It has a nice, colourful interior with good food. The space is a little cramped though, that what I felt.<br/>Anyway, three cheese pizza... woot woot.<br/>Waffle, chocolate pancakes... awesome.<br/>Overall a pleasing experience. We had our little munchkin niece along with us, and she was delighted too, to see the different shades of colours and the friendly staff.<br/>Good food. Good place. Cafe in its name but “ coffee shop “ by its vibes . It is one of the most mesmerising cafes in doon . It’s white decor with well themed designs makes it stand out . The whole space is very well planned and very beautifully designed.<br/>Though the basic theme is white but the walls and stairs add a very colourful touch with all the beautiful paintings painted on them . <br/>The cosy indoor and springy outdoor seating are very thoughtfully put together giving a very english touch to it . Prefect for dates, casual coffees or to spend some quality<br/> time.<br/>If I say they serve best coffee in the town then I’m definitely not lying. Coffees are a must have here . Else than that pizzas , pastas, milkshakes , ice teas, pancakes and waffles are worth trying. Their presentation is very tempting.<br/>The food is amazing slightly overpriced but the ambiance makes for it . <br/>The staff is friendly very well trained.<br/>Parking is not an issue.<br/>

This is like the cutest cafe I've ever been to till yet. Just love the outlook of it. Especially the attic seating are beautiful. Value for food, is really good. I ordered white sauce pasta, BBQ pizza and mocha coffee. It was really good. And service was pretty quick! It's a place you must visit. :D

Their paella is soaked in oil, the owner pays no attention to the quality of food being served on the tables. Bad experience. Uncooked chicken pieces were served and the owner didn't even bother to come and speak to us.

The owner of this cafe is really rude , we were clicking some pictures outside around a table and she sent a staff and put reserved sign on the table and then even after 1 hr no one came to that table , I will never visit this place ever again

Bright & happy with it's cottage facade  & I loved the cozy ambience & the red sofa... perfect for lounging around with friends & a cup of coffee...<br/> But we had gone for dinner ! We ordered a risotto, a pasta & the food was really good especially the pizza....crisp,thin crusted & loaded with cheese.<br/>The staff was sweet & accomodating.<br/>So,yeah,I'm going to be back!

A restaurant with one of the nicest locations and ambience in the valley. The menu is a little expensive, but quite varied. The food is excellent, however, with generous proportions. This place is always crowded because if the food and the ambience. Their menu is quite unique. I have lasagna, sapghetti and both was above average. I live the way they serve food.

I visited this cafe yesterday after everyone hyped it for me to no ends. Agreed its apt to its name Piccolo (Italian for small in a cute way) and the aesthetics were grade 1. With all the hanging ceiling lights and chandeliers, low roof seatings etc. But coming to the coffee, I did not find it any excpetional or maybey expectations were too high. The hazelnut latte was alright and cupaccino was good too but for experiment we ordered something offbeat called Cinamon latte mixed cuppacino I guess or something like that. It was quiet terrible honestly.<br/>For food we ordered pizza, which was by far one of the bests in Doon I guess. Three cheese pizza is heavenly, try it. But we ordered Banoffie pie for dessert and boy was it a failure! The banoffie pie is mix of biscuit base with toffee and banana topped with smooth cream. But the cream was quiet not right, banana and toffee layer was still ok(you cannot screw that) but the crust/base was tragic. At some parts it was thick and hard we couldnt break it with forks and knives and had to use our hands.<br/>Overall if you are in Doon, wanna hangout with friends and just enjoy the aesthetics of a cute cafe, its ok but not sure worth the money.

This is a nice cafe cozy and pretty. Food is extremely delicious especially vodka sauce pasta and chocolate milkshake. Staff are well mannered. I had a great experience here. I would love to go back to Dehradun just to have food here.

Disappointing first visit. Ambience excellent. Ordered one thin crust pizza with mushroom and onions, it was terrible and burnt. I was a bit surprised that they did not notice it and served. <br/>Ordered one Spaghetti with red sauce. It was served cold and appeared as if it was precooked, mildly heated in microwave and served. We looked at it for a while and decided to get it packed so that we can just pay and leave the place and on the way feed it to some one really needy. The worst was Hazelnut Ice Latte (One) which was worst than a street vendor selling sugar cane juice, that would have been much preferred. Well what we paid was Rs 1008.00. This was quite a rip off for a fashionable half an hour stopover.

The cafe is located near old Mussoorie road and is small nd such a cute place to visit. I just loved the ambience nd interior of cafe. The outside seating is also available with beautiful roadside view. The food is soo good as I ordered choclate Shake with burger nd penne Arabiata pasta. The place looks and feels like Christmas. Its one of my favourite cafes in Dehradun. It’s beautiful. Has some really nice food, coffee and desert! The staff is wonderful. Their loo is always squeaky clean. It’s basically a great place to go for a meal or even just hang out.

Cafe de Piccolo is an Italian cafe. This was such a cute place to be in. It’s a really cozy place. This is a miniature cafe in Rajpur, Dehradun. We loved almost everything about this place. The ambience, furnitures, food, drinks, interior decoration, service, everything was lovely. We tried Chicken lasagna, Caramel ice blend and Caramel latte. The food was really really good. Be it taste or the plating of the food, everything was amazing. The way this cafe is is designed is really great. A great place to spend time with your loved ones.

People recommend me to even go fr the pizza so next time I'll come there I'll definitely go fr the pizza

Beautiful location and amazingly and artfully done ambience. The use of wood, natural and artificial light, paintings and decor is superb. The cafe itself looks like a masterpiece. However, I wish, I could review the food in the same category. Their speciality of the day came out of McCain's packet and that too at an exorbitant price, which wasn't cooked properly before serving. I guess that says a lot in itself. Heard a few cuss words(mc-bc types) from staff, while they were chit-chatting amongst themselves. So 3 stars, otherwise the place deserves a lot more.

It’s a small and beautiful cafe located on the main rajpur road. It has both indoor and outdoor seatings. The food here is delicious and upto the mark. Nothing to be disappointed about when you visit this place. Definitely an insta-pic worthy cafe (recommend to visit in evening). If you visit during the evening you will see beautiful trail of lights from the trees leading to the cafe.

Very good place with a serene and calm environment. It is a good place in the winters as it is cozy inside and an awesome view outisde and the waiters here are friendly and there is good ambience inside.

The place has got an amazing vibe. The menu options are nice. The food could have been a little better. But overall it's actually a good place to be.

This place is my happy place.. The food is something you will love, the ambiance is cozy and homey, the music is according to the vibe of the place.. a bit expensive though approx 800 for two... but the food an place worth it ..

This place always caught our attention looks so cute and cozy. We visited this place for some coffee and cake.<br/>We ordered a hazelnut latte ,a white chocolate latte and cake of the day that was caramel cake. <br/>Hazelnut latte was average <br/>White chocolate latte was good but extremely sweet.<br/>And the cake was also average <br/>This place is hipped up a lot. And also is expensive. <br/>We payed around 700/- for just this.

Cafe De Piccolo is a newly opened Italian cafe in the Rajpur Road. It is beautiful, enticing and exuberant cafe located on roadside on the way to old Rajpur road. It gives the Italian ambience in the town. Also it serves exotic European cuisine. We ordered Black Forest Waffle which was a perfect balance of sour black syrup and sweet waffle with cream. So definitely hope into this cafe if in search of some yumsum European food🙃

We tried pancakes and arabiata pasta.. the sauce of the pasta is amazing and spicy..not the usual arabiata pasta..and the pancakes were soft and delicious..quite and amazing experience I had there! The ambience is beautiful too. Must visit. Will try the pizza next time.

Cute little place that reminds you of a doll house! Had some cold coffee here which was okay. The upper seating area is super cozy. Will return sometime to try the food.

In Love with the location, interiors and overall ambience of the place. It takes me back to my childhood. The staff is very jovial and courteous. The food is sumptuous. My personal favorite from this place is Cinnamon infused chocolate Cappucino; Its worthed...🙂🙂

Love the location, food and ambience of this place. A nice cute hut kinda cafe. Though service was a little slow. But the food quality is worth the wait. I tried out a cold coffee and pasta (arrabiata in penne).<br/>The menu is limited but there are still a lot of good options to hog on. The cafe is a little low in height when it comes to getting seated upstairs. Though the roof doesn't touch your head.<br/>There is a pretty seating outside as well which provides a great view of the main Rajpur road.<br/>The cafe is lit up beautifully in the evenings and makes it all the more brighter.

This was my first visit to Dehradun. The first meal we decided to eat was at this place. I am a vegan, so I scanned the menu hard. With no obvious vegan item, I asked the owners. They initially offered salad. Then a sandwich. Then the waiter informed the bread might have eggs. And he then went on to offer to veganize their vegetarian paella. I was ecstatic. Primarily because he took enough care to actually think and offer me with a solution and secondly because I had never eaten a vegan paella. The love in the food lived up to the love given by the waiter. Thank you so much for the lovely food and the care to help out someone who chooses a certain lifestyle for reasons of compassion. Your compassion and kindness is appreciated and acknowledged. Do consider adding a few vegan items. I know you might not have any demand, but extend your love to all other sentient beings and start putting vegan options in your menu. Given the love you and your team have put into the space and everyday customer interaction, I am sure this is not much of an ask :) much love!!

Foods good just the service is pathetic. Wait period post order is high. Messed up most of the times don’t see who ordered first. 3rd time in a row happened. So had to mention this. We were the first ones who had coffee at this place even before their launch. Since then service has not improved inspite of owners being there. Guys lot to work here.
