A cave full of goodies. People milling around filling baskets to the brim with Christmas puddings, plum cakes, marzipan, assorted chocolates, biscuits, cakes, pastries, fresh hot pattices, sandwiches, dry snacks and so much more. Loved the ambience. There are so many helpers around to guide you, suggest choices and offer tastings of the goodies available. There is a delightful array of cakes on display at the right side far end of the shop. The beautiful and alluring display sits demurely behind a large glass on shelves beckoning the sweet toothed to come and indulge. Will definitely visit again and again and again.👍👍👍👍👍

Ellora's bakery is not only the oldest working bakery in dehradun but they make the best plum cake in the town. The pastry's are amazing- moist and soft. But they also have walnut fudge, brownies with almonds, almond cake, and different varieties of biscuits.

This is a wonderful bakery and all the products are worth every bite. What I love more about this place is that they are priced so reasonably compared to the high end quality bakeries in other cities. Must try - Butter Biscuits (various options - Cashew, Pista, etc.), Walnut Fudge, Honey fudge. Do not miss these items. Their Milk Rusk is a speciality here, so one must try that too, although such rusks are now available everywhere. Also had their chocolate and butterscotch cream rolls, sticky butter toffees and Plum cake, which were good too.

Ellora's is one of the best bakeries that I have visited and it's a must visit place if you love good food. They have countless freshly prepared veg as well as non veg options to choose from. They have vallet parking facility as well if you decide to drive to the bakery.

Renowned bakery shop in dehradun. Every item is unique in its own way. You can find packed biscuits, rusk, tea snacks, cookies here along with ready to serve food items which are lip smacking including pastries, donuts, cupcakes, etc. You can take them home, get them delivered or simply walk into the shop and have a corner seat and enjoy.

Visited after some 20 years. Still exceptional. Had the mushroom bun, lemon tarts and pineapple pastries. All just as good as I remember them! RECOMMEND.

Quality doesn't match the reputation of this place. Regular customer since last 20 years but quality is being compromised now. Maybe won't visit again. Walnut cake got fungus the same evening I purchased. Maybe management isn't quite serious about the quality. Get back on feet or you will loose to the emerging competition.

Highly unprofessional.....even if you pay full advance for a cake to be collected after 24 hours...they conveniently forget the order. To top it all, look at their arrogance in saying you can take your money back....this is only because most of us rate them so very high. They can say this without caring for the fact that the kid standing in front of them has to cut the cake. This is height of insensitiveness . Even a poor rating is too good for such a conduct. Shame.

Most heard but didn't find any thing extra ordinary here. Might be extra ordinary at some time but now many bakeries are doing same as them( and much much better) in almost all towns. Prices are toooooò high.

I ordered a cake for delivery but the one that got delivered was drastically different than the one I ordered. I ordered a strawberry cake which showed a bunch of strawberries in the picture but the actual cake was just red in color and not a single strawberry on it. they delivered on time though, which was good. I'd recommend asking about the final product before you place your order.

We recently went to Mussorie and on the way I was so adamant to buy some cookies and biscuits from Ellora’s Dehradun. We took many things from them starting from their Chocolate Cookies to Khatai to Cake Rusk etc. Everything tasted as perf t as it is till the time we opened the “CAKE RUSK” packet. The moment I opened the packet with hot cup of tea I saw a live worm � in the biscuit. I got scared and just checked the other biscuits I saw many of them just running from here and there. My husband suddenly realised and checked the Expiry date and here it comes the biscuit has an MFG date of February 2015.... cannot believe this old shop is playing with others life

Shittiest Bakery products. Milk rusk, biscuits, normal rusk are very very bad. Don't waste your money or go by the name only. They are the most reputed bakers of Dehradun but their quality has downgraded so much that you can't even eat their products. Avoid Elloras..

All my childhood had been on stick jaw toffees from Elloras. It is one of the oldest bakeries in Dehradun and is my most favourite hands down. Their muffins, rusks and stick jaws are famous but plum cake is a new addition to my list this time 😀

I loved this Red Velvet Cake with the cherry toppings. The cake was moistened enough that it melted the time it entered in my mouth. 👄

Over hyped place, all the things tasted ok ok. Nothing fancy. Seating arrangement is also not good. Expensive.

I sent this cake for my uncle's birthday but I never knew it would be like that. I would appreciate that the cake was fresh but it wasn't written anywhere that the cake was vanilla flavoured.. moreover it looked like the cake was smudged. I am so disappointed with them. The presentation of the cake was the worst.

One of the finest bakery in dehradun. My personal favourite. It has variety of handmade chocolate, cakes , donuts, pastries . You can get sweet as well as savoury both. They have Pie,cupcakes too. Staff is a bit impolite. Its just opp. the school .The price is reasonable.

I ordered chicken cheese sandwich. It tatsed good but I didn't like the way they packed it. Like serving bread, chicken and cheese loaded veggies on different packages... I mean how come that become a sandwich... You should better put it together and serve it

Not ideal for ordering online as their menu ends up showing the products which are not even available.<br/>I ordered Choco Nutties Cake and made the payment, later on, they called me to notify me that it is not available and I had to replace it with truffle cake. They ended up adding unnecessary snacks to compensate for the balance amount which is totally absurd.

One of the oldest and possibly the best bakery in town which is sure to serve and satisfy your sweet tooth! They have a huge variety of desserts, pies, cakes, snacks, shakes, cookies, croissants, sandwiches and a lot more. The walnut chocolate pie is totally a must try!

The best chicken patties and all items are reasonably priced. The chocolate fudge is to die for. Their chocolates are not bad either. Try the nutella ones for a moment of pure joy.

Melting moments is good bakery, but today I ordered thru Zomato, pastries were mixed with one another and quality of veg patty nt vry as compared to whn self picked frm store..next time will pick not order online.

Me and my friends had an urge of having some delicious desserts so we chose to order pastries from ellora's. We ordered three pastries Belgian chocolate pastry, choco mud pastry and tiramisu. All three pastries tasted heaven but they were charged quite high according to their size.

Awesome place this to visit for some very delicious pastries and chocolates of the most exotic types. The bakery holds a great variant of many items. The rolls, burgers and other items are also very delicious. Chicken makhani stuffing was one special item that left a remark in the taste buds.

I have been here on regular basis whenever I come to dehradun.but this time I was disappointed because we ordered lemon tart and after our first bite, saw there was hair in the tart.left the tart as it was.

I would have normally rated their food 4 but since this is a composite rating and they have a proper seating area too, it deserves an extra star. However the seating area is not very clean. I mostly prefer getting a home delivery, so I don't mind the seating hygiene as such.<br/><br/>Like - Great food - chicken kathi roll, mutton samosa, chicken patty, buns,milk risks, walnut cookies, decent seating section, great pricing.<br/><br/>Dislike - The seating could have been more hygienic.<br/>

I order chicken kathi roll but roll is so bad. its smeel to much & I put on dustbin, plzz dont order guys food quality is so bad roll is totally like ice cold.

We are a frequent customers. Whether it's a bday cake or some quirky snacks, elloras is our favourite all time outlet. Had tried almost everything from their menu: pastries, ice creams, garlic rolls, cakes and pastries.<br/><br/>Edited: the quality is decreasing day by day. Stale snacks specially chicken rolls, hot dogs and sandwiches. Sorry but I have to lower down my ratings from 4 to 2 now.

Used to love this place as a kid. Visited today after years and its still to die for. Highly recommend the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Truffle. Over all the bakery is kick ass with the best of taste and vibe.

I first visited Ellora’s when I was a kid and my parents had bought me a packet of Stick Jaws and in no time I had finished these Gheelicious toffees.<br/>Few days back was visiting a online portal called www.placeoforigin.in and found Stick Jaws from Ellora’s listed there in no time it was ordered. Received the delivery today and I must say thank You Ellora’s for bringing a bit of my childhood back today. No change in the taste: Original as ever.

Great place for family and with friends...prices are not to costly and variety of food is better and taste is of top notch....I have given it 4 star because the sitting space is not very much , sometimes when I go there it is filled up completely and there is no space to sit....but u will forget about the ambience when u will see the variety of food and it's taste..!!

It is a trusted place for ordering birthday cakes in our family since a long time. The cakes are really tasty. The stickjaw candy from this place is my all time favourite must try it at least once. The baked products are also good and well know.

went there with lots of expectations as have heard a lot about the same. honestly speaking the place disappointed us. the puffs were nice, but the pastrie we're not looking fresh at all. we ordered 7 types of pastry and all were very hard. deserves a 3 because of the puffs and rolls.

The quality of food is great, the things you buy are fresh and the breads and biscuits are exceptional. The problem however is that the chocolates are over priced. You cannot sit and eat at the place with utmost comfort so it’s better to buy and move out.

actually i dont want to give any star.<br/>Because It was Ellora's Melting Moments, one of the reputed bakers in Dehradun. So I did not hesitate to order 4 lbs Blueberry Cheese cake. But the product what I got was not what I ordered. Instead of Blueberry Cheese Cake I received Blueberry Cream Cake. Whole cream with Blueberry toppings at top and a layer of cookies at bottom.. Who eats cream as a cake?? It spolied our Surprise birthday party. I would like to add that the product quality is not good and not as expected. Or may be these guys dont know how to make a cheese cake. Really disappointed with Melting Moments. Guys if you want to order any cheese cakr for your loved ones, then I would suggest not to buy it from Melting Moments.

Best place ever for bakery products! <br/>Must try - red velvet chocolate truffle cake <br/>Bakery items - pizza rolls, mini pizza, Paneer rolls, cheese roll, Paneer kulcha and the club sandwich.. Do try !

Returning from Dehradun without buying Sticky Jaw Toffee from Ellora's is a crime. Ellora's is famous for its bakery products specially Sticky Jaw Toffee. These comes in two variants Chocolate and Caramel, my recommendation goes to the Caramel variant. I also bought Walnut Brownie and Chocolate Fudge from Ellora's. On their recommendation Cornflake Cookie, Vanila Cupcakes and Kaju Biscuits. Apart from Cornflake Cookies everything else was fabulous. The Cornflake Cookies were a bit hard but tasted good. Their Sticky Jaw still remains my favourite. A must visit place when in Dun.
