Service is great and food is just so delicious. We highly recommend
Lets wander doon Doon
Eden's Grove is one the most beautiful & Calm Place to visit when you en route to Rajpur Road. Me and my school friends were planning for a get together (after 5 years). We were excited for get together as well as confused to choose the best place to Visit. Many of them recommended Eden's Grove.! It is an open air restaurant. We were in group of 18 people, place was spacious enough for us. Let's talk about food: We ordered Both veg & Non veg Meals. We tried black current shake, Greek & Caesar Salads they were Good. We tried Chicken Peri-Peri Pizza: 4/5 Lasagna Veg: 4/5 Lasagna Chicken: 5/5 Pasta: 3/5 Nachos: 5/5 (must try). Overall place is a must visit with family & friends. Service: Quick Ambience: Good Worth: A Big Paisa Wasool.!

Eden's Grove is a beautiful open air cafe situated at Rajpur which makes it a soothing get away. The white curtains and the cozy ambience makes this place soothing. We tried the Snickers shake and the nacho's. Both the dishes were upto the mark in terms of flavour. The salsa in nachos was spicy and complementing nachos really well and the Snickers shake was really thick as expected.

I wonder how I could miss such an amazing place after being a doonite for over 10+ years? Well, this place is surely a hidden gem. Had been there recently with my foodie group and I swear you'll not resist praising the experience of being there. You'll not find such starters anywhere. I recommend you to try their Stuffed Cheese Mushrooms, Non Veg Steam Rolls & Hari Mirch ka Bhuna Gosht. I swear you'll not regret the decision of choosing this place in making out your perfect evening plan.
Eats A LOTT
Going from Mussoorie Diversion to Rajpur is one of my favourite drive routes - no potholes, no traffic and trees everywhere. On one such drive I noticed this restaurant and decided to give it a go (my friends and I are always looking to try new places). And boy was I in for a treat! ♥ 1. Location Near GRD Institute, almost midway from Sai Mandir and Rajpur Tiraha. Loads of roadside parking space available. 2. Seating and Ambiance The restaurant has an open air setup with enough seating to accommodate 50+ guests. The ambiance is very relaxing and I can't think of too many places that will be as chill as this one. 3. Service The staff is polite and eager to serve. The owner, a real gentleman, is usually on site and makes every guest feel welcome by personally interacting with them. 4. Food We started the meal with CRISPY CORN and CHICKEN KALI MIRCH TIKKA. The corn was crunchy while the chicken was juicy and had an excellent marinate. Note - The meats are halal. Next, on the recommendations of the staff, we tried the CHICKEN STEAM ROLL and the LAILA MAJNU KEBAB. The steam rolls were a little bland but paired excellently with the condiment provided. The kebabs were a 2-in-1 sort of deal with 2 layers - chicken and mutton : a combination that was perfectly balanced. Next came MUSHROOM CABANA which was crispy on the outside and succulent inside. We decided to try their Thai cuisine before moving on to the main course and ordered PAD THAI NOODLES and GREEN CHICKEN THAI CURRY (with plain rice). The noodles had a tangy twist to them which, though unconventional, was surprisingly tasty. The Thai curry was really good, too! I tried 2 beverages during the above courses - VIRGIN MOJITO and ORANGE MARGARITA : they were both made well and had a decent flavour-to-liquid ratio. Lastly, we ordered an Indian main course consisting of VEG HANDI DEEWANI and MUTTON BHUNA (with assorted breads). I'm not much of a mutton fan, but this was definitely one of the better mutton dishes I've had in a while. The vegetarian dish, however, was an absolute delight (which means I'll be getting some of my vegetarian friends here pretty soon!). By the time we finished all the food, we had no space left for dessert and decided to call it a day. Conclusion : Eden's Grove is a hidden gem that is a must visit if you're in Dehradun - they have a very wide menu which promises to have something for everyone and an excellent team in the kitchen. Pro-Tip : Eden's Grove is a really good choice for a date.

A good place to hangout with friends and family ofcourse. Ambience is average. Place is compact too. Food is good and so the price is bit above then average. A perfect evening can change your mind.

So we were here on 24/6/18 to attend a food blogger's meet. We pretty much tried everything , from soup to starters and main course ofcourse. SOUP - Veg and Non-Veg Lung Fung Soup - Non-veg was better than the veg one. Quantity was generous. STARTERS 1) Veg/Non Veg steam roll - Show stoppers of the day. - this dish is really unique and something you wouldn't find in other cafes or restros. It's like an upgraded version of momos , rolled up with paneer and veggies(in case of veg roll) , here we found the veg version more scrumptious. - highly recommended 2) Stuffed cheese mushrooms- This is another pleasant dish to try whenever u visit this place. Some of us don't like mushrooms right, but it may change your opinion. Though it was little blend for our taste (coz we love spicy food 😂) but most of our friends liked it , so we're betting on their taste. 3) Dahi kebab - Okay this dish was a complete let down, we've had dahi kebabs in the past and it was not even near them. I really wish they work on this dish and make it better. 4) Corn Seekh Kebab - Kebab tasted okay , expected a lot more from this dish though. 5) Afghani chicken - There were good tender pieces of chicken , it could have been more flavourful but it wasn't bad also. MAIN COURSE 1) Sliced chicken in hot garlic sauce - This was our favourite from the main course. Gravy tasted really well , and there was good combination of flavors. 2) Noodle with gravy - Disappointed with this dish, didn't liked it at all. 3) Hari mirch ka bhuna gosht - This dish comes from Hyderabadi cuisine and is popular worldwide. We wish mutton was more tender although the gravy tasted good , this dish could really standout with a little more perfection to it. 4) Malai kofta - recommended - It tasted just the way it should , our only suggestion is to improve the softness of the koftas in it , otherwise it was perfect. BEVERAGES 1) Oreo shake - Just the usual which you could find anywhere , we expected it to be a thick shake according to the price 2) Virgin blue lagoon and mojito - Simple drinks nothing much to praise about AMBIENCE - Who doesn't love an open roof experience, right? It you're more into enjoying your meal under the sky this is the perfect place to go to. It becomes more lively at night , in summers day time is not a good option. Situated at the old rajpur road , where weather is always pleasant , this place just doubles the happiness. There's one fountain in between and there are lots of prop to click selfies with , like selfie queen , tu mere hero😂 So you can also enjoy while having your meal. Did just forgot to mention the best part? - They have hot pot table , yes you heard me. Dream come true, you click selfies , enjoy and you don't even have to worry about the food being warm, just heat it then and there , yayyyy. Final words - Its a really good place but with little more work in beverages section and some more perfection to their starters this place could really standout. Prices are obviously on the higher side , so according to it they should maintain a better standard of the dishes they serve. Use our handle name - @khalipait11 and avail a 15% discount on your bill. Food is extremely good compared to other few so called best food joint in dehradun! Although service need improvement, but it's acceptable at the cost best food. Also being at a location which preferable place for youngsters, Eden's Grove is more suitable for family fooding !

This in one of the place which turn heaven with evening light. perfect place to have a dinner or lunch in a cold chilling day. As it is a open air restaurant it is not very comfortable in hot weather. I hope something can be done regarding this. Now, talking about food I had almost everything from starter to main course to dessert. but some of the dishes are unique and you can see the inovation done correctly such as Veg steam roll( upgrade version of paneer momo ), stuffed cheese mushroom and afgani chicken. and for main course dishes which I like the most are Hari mirch ka bhuna gosht and Malai kofta. I also had these dishes are they are normal and tasty. Chicken lung fung soup Chicken steam roll Dhahi kebab Corn seekh kebab Virgin mojito Virgin blue lagoon Orio shake Noodle with gravy Sliced chicken in hot garlic sauce. so it's a well balanced open air restaurant and you should visit.

My Dehradun visit is always memorable for me. Little sweetness is added when you get tasty and delicious food items from your favorite restaurants. Visited Eden’s grove last week on my Dehradun visit and it turned out to be a good one. Located near Sai Mandir, this place is magnificent in terms of ambiance.

Best time to visit this place: Post Evening.

Truly amazing outdoor sitting options are provided with a beautiful view of the fountain in front. One of the view food outlets in Dehradun where you can find good ambiance followed by delicious food items.

I ordered:

1- Mushroom Baby corn:

( Truly amazing and delicious. )

2 – Afghani chicken:

( Tasty and delicious. Juicy chicken pieces will make you drool. )

3 – Daal Makhni:

( Another master dish from the staff and the chef. Must try. )

4 – Butter garlic naan:

( It’s best in the bread section. Do try it with daal makhani. )

5 – Pina Colada:

( Not that good. Little alteration is needed in making of this particular drink. )

6 – Blue lagoon:

( Again not very fond of this drink. Average in terms of taste. )

*My Overall Experience*

-ambiance: 5/5

-service: 4/5

-food: 4.5/5

-drinks: 3/5

-quality: 4/5

!CHEERS!

Eden’s grove is beautiful open air cafe to visit wid friends nd food is also good. But the staff takes too long time to serve the food. All in all the ambience is good nd is roadside cafe easy to find the way. The white curtains add Beauty to the place. Love it.

Food is great, the ambience, not so much. It could really use a redesign.
The Indian dishes on the menu are really good in taste.
Service is fairly good.
Overall it was a good experience.

Grear food, no bullshit. The food was finger licking specially the Kadhai chicken. Even for vegetarian this is a nice place to eat. Pineapple raita was one of the highlight. One of the resturants in dehradun which focuses on food rather than decor. They need to work on their service but the quality of food cover up everything.

Been waiting for 45 minutes, only one waiter, very slow, chinese and continental not available, 45 minutes and counting, still no food on the table. Came here after reading great reviews, as our favourite restaurant orchard was closed on tuesday.. hugely disappointed to say the least.
Also our server mr. Dipendra rana was super rude.. icing on the cake

Have visited this place before too but I think this time I had tried their new menu. They have introduced Italian food too now. Me n my sister ordered their snickers shake(loved it.) and blueberry shake.
My sister is into fitness so she had ordered Caesar salad and Greek salad following by cheesy nachos. We really enjoyed nachos a lot from the presentation to the taste. We also ordered lasagna and arraibiata pasta. Lasagna was out of the world but I am sure that they can work on arraibiata pasta a little. Interior are outdoor, which ppl can enjoy.

** very unprofessional staff**
They simply forgot the orders and we were sitting for 25 minutes and one of the staff asked us to vacate the place. We were surprised as the main course dishes were yet to come.

Would like to have a response from the management!

Was expecting much more from this place especially after reading the reviews. But it was bit disappointing when it comes to the service and the atmosphere.

Ambience: 3/5
Food quality: 2/5
Food quantity: 2/5
Stuff behaviour/service: 1/5
Serving time: 25-30 mins (starters only as main course was not delivered)

You need to be attentive after placing the orders as the staff are not trained well to serve you.

However, they can easily increase the attractiveness of the place by removing those 'roadside dhaba style' placards and increasing the greenery. It is a small place but they can make use of the beauty of the place like orchard or Chhaya cafe.
Restaurant is not very spacious but okay , food prices are very hiked and food quantity is really very small . It must provide proper and timely service to its customers .

I just simply loved the location. Has a concept of private outdoor sitting. Place is peaceful with nice soothing music. Started with lung fu soup which was great. Butter chicken for dinner , which was just perfect. After a long time had such perfectly cooked butter chicken. Service was quick. Gulab jamun was decent. Chicken lovers it is a sweet spot for lunch and dinner.

This restro has a outdoor sitting, the sitting is very limited & sweet. Food is really good. From starters to main course to desserts all are really delicious.
A must try place for food.. the love butter chicken.

This restro was pending in my list from long time. Finally visited the place last night with two of my close friends. Greeted by staff members with warm smile. It is a beautiful garden seating place to have a good time with friends. They have only outdoor seating with lots of planters and a fountain in the middle of the restro. We ordered assorted veg platter and dahi ke kebab. I really enjoyed platter but they can surely improve their dahi ke kebab. They also have induction fixed in each n every table so that if your food gets cold thn u can reheat it. Very nice concept.
Food-4.5/5
Service-5/5
Ambience-4.5/5
Value for money-4.5/5

Thanks to the restro owner for the personalised service by showing his restro completely. Loved the place.
We were here for a family dinner and instantly fell in love with the place. It had beautiful cabanas made using white curtains.

Soft music, the sound of the fountain made it all perfect.

We had the veg platter and a few mocktails as starters. The platter was huge and had a lot of variety. I loved the pudhina paneer tikka in it.
The virgin mojito was also made perfectly.

For mains we had garlic naan, jeera rice, pindi chane, their special dal Makhni and mutton curry.

I loved the Dal Makhni as it had extra tadka in it. Super buttery and delicious.

You should try them.

Went here for dinner and loved the ambience of the place.
The staff is friendly and the service is fast.
We ordered the following:

Strawberry surprise mocktail
Virgin mojito
Chilly garlic veg noodles
Chicken malai tikka
Chicken lollypop ( these were super amazing!)

Everything was delicious and when in Doon, you shouldn't skip this one.

We were here for a family dinner and I must admit that everyone loved it. Everything from the setting, ambiance, vibe to the food was perfect!

The staff was attentive and concerned. They served us really well.

Coming to the food, we ordered the clear chicken soup as one of us has a bad throat, it was really soothing. Next up were the kebabs. These were chicken mince wrapped by mutton mince. Best of both worlds indeed.

We also tried the spring rolls and chilly mushrooms. These were Also made to perfection and were polished off by everyone in minutes.

The cabana seating is perfect for a date or a family get together. You should definitely try them. They are reasonably priced and everything is value for money.

Happy Eating!

In my last visit to doon,I visited this place with my friends. The place was decorated nicely and looked really really cute. I liked the ambience. We ordered soups, chicken starters and main course. The food was delicious. Chicken in hot garlic sauce was amazing. The laila majnu kebabs were best of all. Loved it soo much.

I have been hearing about this place since quite long. So I went a week back to this place. This was my first experience dinning in an open air restaurant.

The place is small in size but has quite some seating capacity. The decor has been kept minimal with white curtains, simple furniture, music in the background and a beautiful small fountain in the middle. Considering this place is an open air restaurant you might get to think this place is not for the season like monsoon, but you are wrong. Though this is an open area place the seating is covered. So while it pours you can still enjoy your food without a care, specially in the night. As this place looks dreamy. The staff is courteous and service is quick. As for food they have quite the variety in snacks and in main course. Best part they have hot pot table, so you don't have to worry if your food gets cold.
The things that I liked were-

Lung fung Soup - Good. The consistency and taste everything was good.
Stuffed Cheese Mushroom- nice
Veg Steam Roll- loved it, highlight of my trip to this place.
Dhahi Kebab
Noodle with Gravy
Malai kofta

I tried their drinks as well but didn't liked them much either the taste wasn't up to the mark or the consistency was thin. They need to work on their beverages. The prices are on the higher side. Can do a lot better.
Otherwise a good and quite peaceful place.

My second visit-

This visit is about a friend's birthday party that I was a part of. A bunch of us decided to celebrate her birthday here. Since we were a big group I got to try quite a few things on their menu.

Blackcurrent shake
Veg Greek salad
Alfredo pasta (white)
Nachos
Arraibiata pasta (red)
Veg Lasagna
Veg supreme pizza
Margherita pizza
Chocolate ice-cream

Everything tasted nice except for the salad didn't work for me well. Although I liked their pizza- freshly baked, soft, delicious and with the right amount of cheese. One bite into the mouth and you can always tell when it was baked. The ones that I had were definitely baked fresh, This is how a pizza should be and that is how I like it. I also liked their ice-cream. The quantities were decent.
A good place for large gatherings or parties.

It's a nice quiet place on rajpur road., ahead of sai mandir. The ambience is nice but they only have open outdoor sitting so it's difficult to sit during the day so the best time would be late evening or night
Coming to the food. Tried a lot of things but the dishes that stood out were -
1. Steam rolls- had both chicken and veg. Both were so good and definitely worth trying
2. Chicken Afghani- was really juicy and creamy and had a nice flavor
3. Malai Kofta - very few places have a decent malai kofta this place is one of them
4. Hari mirch ka bhuna ghost- was different and Worth trying for a mutton lover
~ Follow on instagram : @suchfoodies ~

If you are someone who dearly loves and appreciates the Doon weather, this is the perfect place for you. The beautiful Gazebo like setting and décor serves food as good as the ambience.
For starters we had Veg/Chicken steam roll, Dahi ke Kebab and Afgani Chicken. The steam rolls were really toothsome. Dahi Ke Kebab was something that Doonites will really enjoy as you don’t get such flavours in Doon. The main course of Eden’s Grove is something exceptional. Hari Mirch ka Bhuna Ghost has flavours that are out of this world; tender meat and amazing flavours are something that define the amazing dish. This in one of the place which turn heaven with evening light. perfect place to have a dinner or lunch in a cold chilling day. As it is a open air restaurant it is not very comfortable in hot weather. I hope something can be done regarding this.

Now, talking about food I had almost everything from starter to main course to dessert.

but some of the dishes are unique and you can see the inovation done correctly such as Veg steam roll( upgrade version of paneer momo ), stuffed cheese mushroom and afgani chicken.

and for main course dishes which I like the most are
Hari mirch ka bhuna gosht and Malai kofta.

I also had these dishes are they are normal and tasty.

Chicken lung fung soup
Chicken steam roll
Dhahi kebab
Corn seekh kebab
Virgin mojito
Virgin blue lagoon
Orio shake
Noodle with gravy
Sliced chicken in hot garlic sauce.

so it's a well balanced open air restaurant and you should visit.

Eden's Grove is a beautiful open air restaurant located at Rajpur Road; few metres ahead Sai Mandir. The place offers droolworthy Indian, Chinese & Thai cuisine with some starters that will blow your minds away.

Penning down my recent visit to this place:

Soups
Very first we ordered Chicken lung fung soup that I think was a good start to our meet. The consistency was perfect, a good portion size with a lot of veggies and chunks of chicken. I am not always a soup lover but this soup is definitely something different. 4.5/5 for it.

Starters
In starters we had Veg/Chicken steam roll which were something 'out of the box' on their menu. Dehradun is known for its spring rolls but not all prefer those oil filled rolls. If you are the one among them then Eden Grove's these steam rolls will make you think twice; Steamed wrap outside and veggies/chicken filling inside.. The next starter was Afghani Chicken that made me a die heart fan of Eden's Grove Chefs. The tandoor cooked chicken wings marinaded with rich creamy preparation is something that can make you forget about other chicken delicacies around. Their next starter Corn seekh kebab has a sweet ting on it and failed to relish our taste buds.

So I highly recommend you trying their Steam Rolls, Mushroom Cabana & Afghani Chicken that were so delicious that I cant resist giving full 5/5 marks.

Beverages
In drinks we had Virgin mojito, Virgin blue lagoon & Orio shake which were satisfactory (since their starters were already grabbing much of the limelight of the show)

Main Course
At last we had Noodle with gravy, Sliced chicken in hot garlic sauce, Hari mirch ka bhuna gosht, Malai kofta & assorted breads in the main course. Never had the type of mutton like this one; tender, thick green gravy full of aroma. The soft malai kofta was the charm of main course; very soft, richness of nuts was going pretty well with tandoori butter naan.

Dessert
Didn't find much about their desserts since we were only served ice-creams.

Well I am pretty much satisfied with Eden's Grove Food, Taste, Portion Size, Service & overall Ambiance. Thank you Rishi for showing me this hidden gem in city. Looking forward to show this place to my other friends & family.

So we were here on 24/6/18 to attend a food blogger's meet. We pretty much tried everything , from soup to starters and main course ofcourse.

SOUP - Veg and Non-Veg Lung Fung Soup
- Non-veg was better than the veg one. Quantity was generous.

STARTERS
1) Veg/Non Veg steam roll
- Show stoppers of the day.
- this dish is really unique and something you wouldn't find in other cafes or restros. It's like an upgraded version of momos , rolled up with paneer and veggies(in case of veg roll) , here we found the veg version more scrumptious.
- highly recommended

2) Stuffed cheese mushrooms- This is another pleasant dish to try whenever u visit this place.

MAIN COURSE
1) Sliced chicken in hot garlic sauce - This was our favourite from the main course.

4) Malai kofta - recommended
- It tasted just the way it should , our only suggestion is to improve the softness of the koftas in it , otherwise it was perfect.

BEVERAGES
1) Oreo shake - Just the usual which you could find anywhere , we expected it to be a thick shake according to the price

2) Virgin blue lagoon and mojito - Simple drinks nothing much to praise about

AMBIENCE
- Who doesn't love an open roof experience, right?

Keep following our journey - @khalipait11 on Instagram as well.

Ambience 😍
The location is the prime location of Dehradun at old rajpur. I tried the starters i.e Vegetable crispy salt and pepper and hakka noodles which were good in taste neither very spicy nor very simple. The seating area is developed in contrast of nature that makes us feel very peaceful.
Will love to visit again and try more dishes.

Went to this place for a family get together and came back a bit disappointed. The ambiance is lovely and so is the service but the quality of the food is below average. The place is too pricey and does not do justice to the quantity. The starters are still good but the main course is absolutely not up to the mark.

Food is okey. The service is pathetic... the waiters are unprofessional, the service is late.. not good for winter as the food gets cold very soon, the inductions on the table are bot functional.
