Review Bravo Charlie - Dehradun

Of the numerous new restaurants and cafes opening in Dehradun, I had a keen interest in checking out Bravo Charlie because rumour had it that it would have an insanely extensive menu including some interesting fusion recipes along with very nominal rates (despite being on Rajpur Road). Naturally, I went to the outlet as soon as I had a chance and was pleasantly surprised to find both the rumours to be true! 1. Location Ground Floor, Pinnacle Plaza (adjacent to Pacific Mall, Rajpur Road). Lots of parking space available. Also accessible by local bus and vikram. 2. Seating & Ambiance Bravo Charlie is spread over 2 floors of space divided into 3 distinct areas : Bombay Classic (ground floor, fine dine setup), Bohemian Castle (first floor, lounge setup with area for live performances) and Brother Che (first floor looking out to Rajpur Road, air-conditioned smoking area with full service tables). Each of these areas has been done up very tastefully and each of them has it's own ambiance and identity. Needless to say, all 3 areas are very comfortable, too. 3. Service The staff is trained and courteous. The service is decently quick. Special mention to their bartender who makes some of the best cocktails and mocktails that I have tasted in Dehradun in a long time. 4. Food First thing that I need to mention in this section is that EVERYTHING came in very generous portions which made the economical price point a much sweeter deal We were a group of 4 people and so we got to order a wide variety of dishes. Here is a short breakdown of what all we had and how it was : - VIETNAMESE LAU : A clear noodle soup with additives on the side, this is almost a mini-meal in itself. One of the tastiest healthy dishes I’ve had in a long time! - PALAK PATTA CHAAT : Light, crispy and perfectly tangy! - NIMBU TOKRI : Crispy edible nests filled with flavourful chicken keema! - SUGARCANE KEBABS : Mutton minced meat kebab wrapped around real sugarcane to give a sweet and spicy flavour. - DOON TO VARANASI : Paneer tikkar stuffed with gulkand - a delicious affair! - GRILLED CHICKEN HERBED SAUCE : Juicy and tender chicken pieces grilled to perfection. - DAL VODKA SHOT : Dal makhani cooked with vodka and served in shot glasses with tiny kulchas. - MUTTON DUM BIRYANI : Authentic and delicious! - MUTTON ROGAN JOSH : I paired the gravy with the biryani and the result was quite outstanding. Also, the meat was cooked to perfection. - GREEN APPLE JALEBI : A perfect blend of green apple slices friend in sweet jalebi batter and topped with fresh rabri. Conclusion : Bravo Charlie is THE place to try in Dehradun and I'm sure that, like me, you'll keep going back for more!

I have loved the ambiance of this place. We have ordered many varieties and we loved all the dishes. They are accepting Zomato gold at this place. I feel the prices are little bit high but they serve hygiene food and the quantity of the food is also less. Good place to hangout with friends.

Ambience is very regular. Food is rather good. Tikka tikka pizza was delicious. The mocktails were bang on perfect. The fatty bao was average. Service was good. Mr. Rakesh Chhetri, The Manager is an enterprising person. It was nice interacting with him. The serving staff was friendly n efficient.

Taste of food is very good. Only problem is that the portion of dishes offered is very less as compared to the prices.

One of the leading fine restaurant in Dehradun with a fantastic set of menu. Been here a couple of times and have tried almost everything on the menu and the food was very delicious. The ambience is very neat and clean. There service staff are well mannered. I would strongly recommend this place to all the food lovers out there waiting for something new to try.

Recently visited this place with family for lunch and what a vibe this place have. Talking about ambience place is cosy with 2 floors. What I liked about this place was the staff was welcoming and food was exceptionally brilliant. I ordered Thai bravo drinks, pasta, veg burger, chicken tikka and at last brownie with ice cream

If you are looking for good food at the best rates, this place is completely for it. Everything was excellent and more than we hoped for. Will definitely recommend and visit again. Really worth it!

The restaurant is next to pacific mall building so after shopping you dont have to wander for any dinning place. The ambience of the restaurant was nice with the good food.

I was in the city last weekend and must say that they offered good presentation of food..Dal tadka with Vodka Shots just blew my taste buds out. Wowed by drinks and overall evening. Location is also pretty good. Must visit if you are planning to visit Dehradun or passing by Rajpur road.

This fusion place that opened just 1 year ago is an excellent place for trying out some amazing combinations.<br/>I tried their:<br/>Charlie Chakhana which was a serving of 3 different types of chakhana based on peanuts, chana and wai.<br/><br/>Fried Box - It was a serving of 3 different types of fried potatoes(wedges, french fries, cheese bomb) which was super delicious.<br/><br/>You should really try these combinations. Worth place, must-visit.

The place is great... Food is amazing and the sitting area on the 1st floor is good for a small get-together. The staff is very courteous and quick to respond. Must-Visit.

I read some good reviews about this place so decided to pay a visit. Restaurant has three floors, with different themes. We visited the ground floor decorated in Bombay classical theme. The restaurant was fully empty on a Friday night ! We were given kiwi delight as welcome drink which was good. The dishes names are quite creative. For starters we ordered Doon to Varanasi, paneer tikka stuffed with Gulkand and served with three different chutneys. This was the best dish we ate. For main course we had Malai kofta, Chicjen korma, garlic naan, lacchha paratha and pudina paratha. Malai kofta was good. For korma, all I can say that the chef has never been near a korma. They were just pieces of skewered chicken in a watery gravy . The absolute worst korma i've eaten. Staff is courteous but the service is slow. I think their strength is in the innovative dishes they have made. Will try them the next time.

The place is great... Food is amazing and the sitting area on the 1st floor is good for a small get-together.. The only thing bothered me was the welcome drink, it wasn’t good.. Plus according to me, they shouldn’t be serving welcome drinks in shot glasses...

Heard of this new place in town so decided to visit it with a couple of friends. We went on a Saturday evening and expected it to have a lively environment. Only 2-3 tables were occupied. It has two floors with the ground floor having nice ambience and gives a family restaurant feel to it. Whereas the above floor is just okay. The music was good. The food was just okay, nothing special or extraordinary I would say!<br/>The drink I had i.e. Bourbon based cocktail was nice. <br/>Overall just an average experience!!

We visited for our weekly book meetup and were ecstatic to see the hospitality and professionalism of the staff! Everything was beyond expectation including the food, beverages and the way they have designed the place. It was a pleasure experiencing the different sections they have created with attention to detail. There are some places where you just want to go back to again and again. Potterheads just had so much fun!

We had a lovely lunch in rains here yesterday.. polite staff and a great chef ( Mr.Dharmendra Negi) who knows what’s apt to order for the season..keep cooking great food guys!!!Good luck👍

We had pleasant experience at Bravo Charlie. We found the menu of the place has out of the box dishes and offerings. The staff is also very well trained and highly professional with great hospitality service. ummm..... Yummiest food ever in doon . Loving it. Specially the doon to varansi is my personal favorite dish in bravo Charlie. Eveyone should try if they are looking for unqie and delicious food.<br/><br/>

This restaurant is a Must try in Ddun!<br/>The fusion food here is interesting and delectable to say the least.<br/>The ambience and staff are extremely pleasant.<br/>They welcome you with a complimentary drink, a smile and suggestions.<br/>We ordered fish and chips, sugarcane kebabs, Hawaiian Tikka.<br/>The fish was Amazing! It's one of the best fish I've had in Dehradun in a long time. Extremely fresh and juicy. Sugarcane kebabs had pretty interesting effect on the taste palette. Hawaiian Tikka was pretty fresh and delectable too.<br/>Ordered veg and nveg biryani. Both were satiating!<br/>The winner was Green Apple Jalebi. It had perfect balance of crunch and sweetness.<br/>Overall definitely worth trying this Restaurant.

I visited this place yesterday for my friend's birthday treat . We were given a complementary welcome drink each, which was quite good. We ordered a watermelon drink and a New Zealand style blueberry pineapple drink which were both refreshing. We ordered a fries box , which is a platter of potato wedges, french fries and potato tots, which honestly one can hardly mess up. Chicken popcorns were exceptionally good and the mixed sauce pasta was decent too. I just loved the prompt service and the judicious pricing of food items. The staff is courteous as well. It could have done a little better with the interiors though. I tried the safe dishes this time but will visit again and experiment with my order the next time.

Had the best experience dining here. A very good staff who would love to serve you and a taste that you will enjoy to the fullest. The food, mocktails and the desserts all were awesome.
