Review Berco's - Dehradun

Greg Chapman
The always reliable Bercos. Read on for a protip that could save your tummy In my endeavour to eat less meat, ive found a great alternative in their Creamy Garlic Veg Curry and Egg fried rice 🍚 Decent interiors and food arrived quickly Bill came to 647/- and 2 hungry people ate well Pro Tip- i love green chillies in vinegar, the Chinese condiment . But , this bowl is the place where a lot of dead insects typically reside. Always get fresh green chillies cut and put into the vinegar- I've added a pic of this

Great food and taste.. especially try Thai curry and dessert

A good place to have Chinese food. The restaurant is entered by climbing down steps from the car parking area, which is also where one can drive in from the main Rajpur Road. The ambiance of the year old restaurant is different from most - neither good nor bad, simply different. Now let’s talk about the food for that’s why you have come here. Right? After the menu writers have taken the order you sit and listen to some music being played or watch the TVs on the wall. The food, when it comes, should be piping hot. Wrong. In our case, it wasn’t. Worse, the waiters have no idea from which side to serve - front, left or right. Apparently no one has bothered to train them. Okay, so the food. Well, it’s personal but I thought the food we had was excessively spicy for Chinese preparation and rather bland. But then again what’s my delicacy might be your trash. So, the place is worth a visit. Go and try it once and then decide if you’d have it on your list of favourite eateries. Enjoy.

It's hands down the best Chinese restaurant in town with authentic food and flavours. The restaurant itself has a feeling of fine dining and offers and exquisite menu of various pan Asian dishes to choose from. From the quality of lamb to the Pad thai, it's always the best spot to eat.

This is the place to get some authentic Chinese and Thai cuisines. The interiors are sombre and quite appealing to one's eyes. The parking lot is adequate enough to park your vehicles.
Rahul Jain
Centrally located eatery for savoring pan Asian delicacies. Decent taste. Moderate prices. Average ambience.

Bercos is a famous name in Delhi NCR, this outlet is easily navigable and accessible from the main road. Parking spaces available in the shopping complex. The interior are subtle with ambient lighting. Ample of seating capacity. The staff is courteous and professional with quick service. Food is good, especially the Tibetan food. Darsan is must try. Overall this place is recommended.

Great ambience. And definitely one of the best Chinese restros i have ever been to. Definitely recommend to anyone with a passion for Chinese. Their drink are awesome. But do order wisely as they give huge portions so you may wanna wait and order.

It is a nice place with a friendly staff. It has a good variety in the Chinese and thai cuisine . The interior of the restaurant is very good with a large sitting place in a vertical way. At last the sweet was something that amused me .So I would recommend that you can spend some time there with family.
Khake_dekh
The food and ambience is quite good . Neat, clean and quick service. Friendly staff.
The worst ever tasteless food with third grade packing, exorbitantly over priced,
The serving is too too small, not even half of what they serve at the restaurant.
The packaging used is of the cheapest quality and each packet was taped atleast 10 times as if the packer had nothing else to do.
A roadside dhabba would serve a better Chinese food than so called big name “Bercos”.
I had been a regular with ordering with them but will not recommend henceforth.
The management should seriously look into the issues else it will start loosing regular customer like us.
Gaurav Kharka
I order singapuri style children noodles but there is no chicken Slices in noodles only egg is available but quantity of chicken disappoint me allot I paid for chicken noodles not for veg noodles I want my money back... It's bettr to buy chicken noodle from stall genuinely they satisfy us
Akash Makhija
I ordered veg hakka from this place but they send noodles with chiken pieces in it. Horrible expirience.

Bercos is always a safe affordable and an amazing place to go for meals. We personally lover bercos for their reasonable authentic chinese and thai food and great hospitality.

Nice Chinese food .......chilli garlic noodles are awesome.....the chilli mayo prawns was also good although the taste of sauce is a somewhat overwhelming but still overall nice

Dehradun has always been a potential place when it comes to momos, there are almost 1000+ joints when we talk about momos in Dehradun, if that is so then how can one forget to try all the momos here !! Here's one of them from @bercosindia Dehradun, Berco's is an authentic chinese and thai restaurant situated at Rajpur Road near GMVN office.

Chicken Fried Dumplings with Sweet Chilli Sauce
One of a kind at Dehradun.
Must try if you are a momos lover.
Food: 8/10
Serving: Two pax (8pcs)
Price Range: Moderate
#petpujaari #dehradun #foodgasm #momoslove #momos #dehradunmomos #chicken #aunthenticfood #foodporn
#foodcourt #foodphotography #foodie #foodstagram #foodlover #chinesefood #bercos

This chinese restaurant is popular and they have best chinese food in dehradun. This chinese restaurant is very great. Hakka noodles and dimsums are my favorite. The staff is excellent. This is amazing restaurant. Dehradun is good place to visit.

Always loved berco’s but the dehradun berco’s Left me a little disappointed. The pad Thai noodles had way too much of sauce and was high on spices despite telling them before hand that I do not want spices. The pita pockets were slightly burnt. The only thing that tasted good was the thukpa.
Uma Shankar Sharma
The best and most authentic chinese and thai food in the town with great ambience and food quality. The service of the staff is great.
#bestchinesefood #bestthai ♥️
Please try crispy garlic vegetables 🤗♥️

My ramen did not contain noodles. Ramen is supposed to be a soupy noodle bowl. It was just some broth with garnishes. Ramen is not some soup that can be eaten with hakka noodles or rice.

The experience was good at first try but then something happened with quality the following times. All the times, we ordered a lavish spread of great food but then we were served food with frozen "shrimps" and such which could be easily guessed by the taste. Even the manager didn't deny it. Though Berco's Delhi is better I guess.
Harshit Jaiswal
Dehradun is famous for the local Chinese Cuisine. Their are many options around the city that one can visit. Wherever you feel like having an authentic Chinese or Thai cuisine food go for Berco's.
The ambiance is really beautiful and that extra star for the Staff. The only problem I found is that they take a little more time to prepare the food.

If you love to try something new than this is place where you can have authentic thai cuisine ..... Though the prices are bit higher but the taste help us to balance the expenditures.... U all must try this place once .. It is worth that
Nitesh Gupta
I ordered soup at home which did not qualify even close to what we call talumien soup. It's very disappointing to receive this kind of soup from bercos.
we used to love Bercos in Delhi! and the moment we saw the outlet here.we were so excited! and really wanted to try chinese here.well this place did not disappoint at all! even though it is a cosy lil place but worth going if you are a chinese food freak like me.

Best restaurant to eat chinese food in dehradun . It serves delicious food . I had chilly chicken , fried rice , prawns and dumplings over here. Everything tasted superb 😋😋
Anu Singh
The best chicken kothey I have ever tasted. I often go there only for the momo’s. This place was much needed in Dehradun, highly recommended if you want to have something different from basic pasta/pizza/noodles you get everywhere.
Kunal Dey
The best place in town to have Chinese. I have never tasted a better dish of Chilly Chicken in Dehradun than the one served here.

Besides chilly chicken, one must try out Mongolian chicken along with egg/chicken fried rice.

However, there is scope for improvement in their mocktails!

This place is a solution to all your cravings for good Chinese food in Dehradun.
Harry Juneja
Ordered for Thai Chicken Curry which included rice as well, but was delivered only the curry without rice. Negative on the part of Bercos as well as Zomato for not entertaining the compliant. I wish there was a zero rating also as this cheating.

A place that serves authentic, flavoursome Thai cuisine under quality ambience. This place has quality seating arrangement with classic decor, great hospitality and prompt service. The food is really delectable. We had pad thai noodles and fried dumplings in thai sweet chilli sauce. The food was perfectly balanced and great to taste. The prices stand a bit upscale but the taste goes value for money. A must go for thai cuisine lovers.
Ankush Jindal
One of the best Chinese being served in the town...freshly made with delicious mouthwatering taste... Chinese lovers must try this place once
Chef Varun
Tried Berco for the first time in dun and have Ordered basil fried rice which lacked basil flavour a bit oily and chilli mushroom were too dry
Arjun Patel
Had fish crispy garlic and veg khao suey meal. Fish was not fresh and was dry, it was not at all crispy. khao suey was taste. Noodle consistency was good and broth was also tasty.Liked the way it was presented.

A very decent place with good Chinese flavours , Really the place is very lovely in comparison to other multi cuisine , Good menu & location .
Akshit Gairola
I ordered dim sums and oyster chilli fish meal which was indeed really good. People who love Chinese and Thai food it’s the best place in doon for the same.
Siddharth Chadha
Meal bowl is a great addition.
It is as good as any Berco’s of any Delhi NCR outlet.
Staff is courteous and prompt in service.
Location could have been better.
Poor visibility of outlet.

I am a big time dimsum lover and after hearing from my friend a lot about their dimsums I thought of trying it. I liked the entry of the restaurant a lot. They have a selfie corner kind of the thing which is really interesting for the present generation. They have planters at the entry which makes the place really lively. We ordered vegetarian, non-vegetarian dimsums and ginger fizz. First ginger fizz didn't taste like ginger at all. Secondly we had waited almost 35-40 minutes for our dimsums which is too much for me to wait for it😜. I completely get that that they prepare fresh dimsums from the scratch. Dimsums were really fresh and soft but I did not like the taste much. And then we thought of ordering Singapore style noodle which again took too much time and did not taste like Singapore style. That was just like a normal street wala noodles. As per the quantity and the quality I must say that they are over over priced. For these 4 things we almost paid 800/- which is totally no value for money.

The food was really nice also the owners of the restro are very sweet . Nice to see Berco outlet open in Dehradun finally . If you love thai chinese its a good place to visit

Late post!!
I went to this place last month when i was in Dehradun.
I expected too much from this place. The place is beautiful no doubt but the service is slow and the food quality wasn’t like bercos at all. There were no veggies in the honey potatoes. It was just potatoes. The quantity of the soup was so less according to the prices. Pan fried noodles were okish.
Mama_R_Eats
The food was good but not great. We ordered the normal chinese fare, nothing extraordinary, just your regular Hakka noodles , gravy accompaniment and also chicken fried rice. No complaints in the food department at all. However, the service was really slow and we were not there on a weekend so there was no rush to speak off, yet it took a long time for our order to arrive.

The mocktail was a major downer for us. We order an iced tea which was way to sweet for our liking. Also do you chop your mint leaves in mocktails/cocktails? I'm no expert but it surely did not taste right.

Another downer for us was no baby friendly seating available.
Shipra Gaur
Had lunch at Berco’s yesterday. The food was not that great. Had order Veg thukpa , stir fried vegetables , fried rice . The staff was polite . Service was good.

Great interiors and nice ambience!! The food is okay!! We tried the momos, noodles..
Not the best I’ve had!! It’s a little bit pricey so there’s always room for improvement!!
~Follow on instagram : @suchfoodies ~

known for its thai and chinese cuisines
its a place for people with taste of such food
the food is a little expensive but the quantity and quantity is enough for tht
parking is also available
staff was very cooperative

I like quiet birthdays best enjoyed in my parents company who don't relish any outside food other than Pan Asian cuisine. So this was the reason I visited Bercos.
Very pleasant servers.
Ordered Chicken Tom Yum - lacks authenticity , overtly sour and heavily garnished with the not so required coriander.
Chicken Drumsticks- Delicious and aptly flavoured.
Crispy Fish in garlic - Undercooked as one can taste the raw floury coating.

Chicken Pad Thai- Perfectly Yummy !

Good experience in totality.

only place in dehradun to find authentic thai food. Crispy vegetables with lemongrass is highly recommended. you can also find Ramen here which is quite unexpected.
Nandita Kala
Loved the food. Been a while since I visited but the food had the perfect combination of flavours. The Thai Curry was so good, just the smell of it was mouth watering. The chicken drumsticks had a perfect blend of flavours. Was a littles spicy so I liked it very much.

"Put your expectations down and you will love this place."- you are finding thai cuisine in city dats more than enough.Expecting good thai food may lead to disappointment.

I am writing this review after my 4th visit. its just walk away from Madhuban Hotel.

ambiance and service is good. Options available at menu is also available most of the time.Their Rice bowl is value for money.

They are in love with coconut milk and i belive they are finding it on cheap cost as they love to use it in your food immensely.

Well, this place is good to go for family /official gathering

What separates a good restaurant from a great one is the amount of food one packs up with oneself, and in my case I wasn't ready to leave anything to waste. I packed it all up for a leisurely lunch the next day and it tasted just as good as it did in the restaurant.

I highly recommend the following: Cheese and Garlic Wantons, Red/Green Thai Curry (Veg/Non-Veg) and the Chicken in Creamy Garlic sauce. Now while I've recommended these dishes, it doesn't take away from their excellent collections of Soups and other Appetizers. In fact, I was brave enough to try their Mustard Fish preparation and I loved it.

So, come with a hearty appetite and don't forget to take the leftovers, they taste just as good (if not better) the following day.

Food: 5/5
Definitely the finest Chinese in town.

Staff: 5/5
Very helpful, sweet, warm and welcoming.

Ambience: 5/5
The place has a very soothing feel to it.

Loved the place. Love the food.

We go there quite frequently. To begin with, the brand name makes one expect a good ambience and great food. The parking space is ample, indoor ambience is good, the music soft and the servers polite. So far, so good.

The food is moderately spicy, by good Chinese food standards, so there is no requirement of adding any sauce or vinegar etc at the table. The soup is served hot but maybe they should let the flavours do the talking. Letting inedible pieces of stuff like Kaffir lemon leaves, Thai Ginger chunks etc remain in the soup in inexcusable. They simply distract from the taste of the soup.
The main courses are generally good and ample in quantity. The items other than basic noodles and rice (Pad Thai for eg), tend to be below par. The noodles are good though not of the level of Mainland China; but then it is cheaper too! They will happily pack up any left over food...so there.
We generally avoid desserts so no comments on that.
The after food, sweetened ginger is passable but can be better.
They levy a 5% Service Charge which is neither here not there. Either they should raise it to 8-10% to make it a reasonable one or leave it out altogether and the diners can leave a tip as they wish.
Overall, an above average Chinese diner in Dehradun.
Doonfoodtales
They serve perfect chinese and thai food !
If you have chinese/thai loving taste buds, this place is a must visit.👌
They have very sophisticated and customer friendly staff.
Food =4/5
Ambience=4.5/5
Service=4/5

Bercos one of its kind.... A very famous Chinese chain is here in Dehradun......
Definitely a delight for the Chinese and Thai lovers...
Starting with the location its in the same building as of the Bikanerwala with ample parking available... On the Rajpur road !!
Clean good ambiance good decor and ample seating area...With definitely good music!
So we started with the soup veg and Non veg hot n sour 5/5. The best I have ever had just perfect with some pepper !!
For starters we had 2 vegetarian dishes 1 was vegetables in spicy chilli sauce and Cheese and corn wraps ... The cheese wrap was amazing , the vegetables were also good . For Non vegetarian starter we had chicken drumsticks and fish chilli amazing 100/100 especially for the fish....
Moving on to the min course we finally had the Pat Thai noodles again 100/100 and will definitely go to eat it again (just a bit oily) and oyster sauce noodles chicken but that somehow did not suit our tounges...
At the end we had chocolate pastry and ice cream combo so soft and so delicious ,the ice cream was so fresh and it seemed they made it themselves...
Price wise a bit on a higher side for students as for the above dishes be paid 4k ...But worth it

Overall guys go go hurry up u r missing on some amazing food .....I'm going there again what about u?
Prerna Roy
Authentic Chinese....finally.....and they even give you chopsticks on request.....tried thupka and it was up to the mark....have no complaints or regrets...a must have in cold winter nights of Dehradun

The experience was pretty mediocre.
First I will take about the ambience- being located in rajpur road, having good interiors, and good service, it gets 2 thumps up 👍👍(everthing nice till now). But now the misery starts when we talk about the food , they are no where near as compared to the outlets in Noida and delhi(C.P.)-, they couldn't match up to the quality. But having said that it's still a decent place for a fine dine out experience.
Must try foods-
Chicken in black bean and oyster sauce are amazing!!!! ( trust me)
Bercos sirancha prawns
Chicken pan fried noodles are also good.

All n all give it a try , you might just love it😄!!!

I went to this place just because of the ambience. The place is nice ,staff there is also good ,food is good considering the price. But eventually i would say , its a good place to try out .

One of the best Chinese chain, but looks like the Dehradun branch is not able to maintain the standard. We have specifically instructed to keep the food less spicy but the food served was so spicy that we were not able to consume the same. Ambiance and the service is above standard and the staff behaviour is also very good. Overall an average outlet.

Berco's is one of the better restaurants of Dehradun. It is a tad on the expensive side, but it'll give any competitor a fair run for it's money. They serve the best Chinese and Thai in Dehradun in my opinion. However, the mocktails are total letdowns. The combo meals offer amazing value for money. A smallish place with nice ambience, and easy to miss. Highly recommended though.

Do not miss ordering the following:
Shredded chicken with dry red chilli
Crispy chilli mayo prawns
Chicken five spice
Sliced fish with basil
Singapore style noodles
Soggy basil bowl
Akshat Dutt
Great ambience, Great food, must try for chinese lovers. Slow service but worth it. Must try Stir fried Vegetables and chocolate cake with ice cream(its lovely)...Drinks okayish but really nice coffee...

Fantastic place! Bercos is certainly a chicken lover's paradise. So many options to try from, and all are lip smackingly yum! I strongly recommend the creamy garlic chicken, chicken noodles and chilly chicken.
