A beautiful rustic cute cafe with good food. We tried - pink sauce pasta, grilled veg sandwich, cheese omelette, fries, chilli cheese toast and coffee. Everything was good. Must try are pasta and chilli cheese toast. Their bakery items are also yum. There is no parking outside so you have to look for it in nearby lanes.

What fabulous experience, overall. I've, on a few earlier occasions, been to the Landour Mudhouse cafe and fell in love with the place & their coffee. This, the Rajpur Road outlet is no less. It is superb when it comes to the overall vibe of the place. Their coffee, OFCOURSE turned out just as expected - superb! The staff was extremely well behaved, friendly and professional. I'm definitely going back here atleast a few more times before I go back to Delhi! ❤️

Slightly expensive but great place , good ambience, good wifi connection . Not great parking though , enough for scooty , 4 wheelers might have to park a little far

I had visited Mudcup Café in 2019 for the first time and instantly fell in love with the ambience of the place. Cut to 2023, the place still has the same aura and good food to go with the beautiful interiors. I tried their Veg Pink Sauce Pasta, Hummus and Pita Bread Platter, Iced Kahwa and Hazelnut Cappuccino. The hummus and pita bread platter with the crispy falafel was the standout in my opinion. It felt light on the stomach and the texture of the hummus was extremely creamy. Made me kinda sad that I finished it quickly ^_^ The Iced Kahwa had a beautiful aroma and the hazelnut cappuccino was frothy and delicious too. The pasta sauce was silky and pasta was al dente. Overall, a must visit if you're looking for fresh and tasty food in the Rajpur Road area!

We visited this place after reading few reviews on google, glad we did. This place especially the ambience, food, service and view makes it worth visiting. The interior is in natural or rustic style, bread is baked at the cafe only. Must try their pancakes which are fluffy, soft and delicious. I would like to mention the staff and owner who took the time and effort to make us feel comfortable. Their hospitality and the vibe of this place make you feel wonderful. In case you are travelling by car, parking can be a bit of an issue, so try to visit early in the morning for that.

Nice place with a good ambiance. The food was tasty and the owner was nice. It has its own baked breads which were tasty. The location of this cafe is really good.

I've always enjoyed coming here. The views are not spectacular, but it's a great feel for a cafe with the open air. This can come with downsides of pollution and noise. Overall the food is good and they will make your order for takeout. Some of their baked goods are great to try.

The food was so delicious, the service friendly and the coffee very flavorful. This is also such a cute place to start off a slow morning, the walk from the centre is uphill, towards the mountains which is lovely. No need to worry about monkeys, as there is no way for them to enter, but one is still outside. 11/10!!!

Road side parking , congested road . Very neatly done space and excellent setup. Staff is courteous and high covid precautions still in place when all lock downs are removed by govt. Access to cafe is up the stairs so it's not old people friendly incase stairs is an issue or not wheelchair friendly. Food and beverages are nicely done and would be a four star for sure. Pricing of menu is very high if you compare it to other cafes of dehradun. Menu is very nicely spread out and does justice to the place.

Located in rajpur this place is probably one of the best place for tea lovers in town. The ambience, music and the view from here is just perfect. The food is really good and flavoursome. They the they have a huge variety of tea and coffee which are worth trying. Do try their desserts too! Overall a highly recommended place!

This is the 2nd Mudcup not to be confused with the one in Mussoorie, although the owner is the same. I'll start with the Key Lime pie. Ive also had this at ITC Sonar Bangla, and those guys are known for their sweets. The one over here beats it hands down. I couldn't get a pic this time coz it had finished Cold coffee is good, so is the banana bread 🍞. This place is quiet , except for the cars passing downstairs. So it's got more of a quiet theme.... Staff are courteous and friendly

Its a lovely place to have a good time with friends. The quality of food is topnotch. I really loved their ginger lemon tea and kahwa. I really liked the service too. The lady is very sweet and enthusiastic. Would love to visit the place again. Keep the good work team Mudcup.

Nice ambience. I suggest to go after sunset. The lights look beautiful at night. Food was okay. We ordered pancakes sandwiches nad pasta. Pancakes were awesome. Pasta was okay but the sandwiches were dry and tasted terrible. Overall a good experience though.

Quiet good and peaceful place. It is basically bakery plus cafe. So the bakery items are good. I tried Nutella waffle that are great in taste. There are different types of teas are there which are also great. Honey chilli potatoes are so crispy but I find them not so really good because after some time it's kind of difficult to eat them but overall this place is awesome. I would love to visit again.

The soothing entrance with a touch of greenery and few chairs to wait there catches a customer's eye. The wooden furniture, I admire an encephalon of that architect who recommended this and implemented this at an inception! It's unique and mollifying! Little Italy ambient and varied interior leaves no hollows to complain. Soothing light and brown color decore give a cozy feel. I had Chicken Sandwich and Coffee..I am in love with Sandwiches and creative way of presentation.. Most important very friendly and polite staff which gives you feeling of comfort.

This cafe which is now known as mudcup cafe is located in the old Rajpur kairwoon gaon. The location makes this cafe beautiful. The wooden interiors and peaceful ambience is cherry on the top. As the menu is limited, it is more of a coffee place. <br/>We have tried their iced tea, brownie and also chocolate eclairs. The desserts were average.<br/>The service is very slow and sometimes they don’t even listen. With the ambience so great, the service and food quality can be improved. <br/>Price for two : 600

Mostly young crowd forms the client base with people working on their laptops and enjoying their choice of caffeine. <br/><br/>With a few desserts and breads to choose from, this cafe is perfect for brunch and ofcourse you can have coffee at any time. Ordered hot cappuccino which was a fine one. Closest comparison would be CCD. The chicken soup was so rich and appetizing that we regretted not ordering more from the food menu. Had Cinnamon bread aa well which was perfectly balanced in sweetness and you'd love it. Everything was flawless except for the service. Had to wait a while and ask for glasses to have water,. Mudcup at alaya gives you an experience that you'd never forget. From wooden interiors to elaborated menu I love it all. Their pizza was cheesy and has delicious toppings with base baked to perfection. Falafel hummus and pita was a bit bland but I didn't dislike it. Their drinks are amazingly delicious and worth trying.<br/>You should definitely try this place once.

Cafe has serene ambience with average food and service. Drinks are passable and too sugary. Pizza were just average. Cookies were nice and fresh. Sauted veggie with rice was fresh and delicious.

Recently I visited "MUDCUP CAFE" which is located in Old Rajpur Road, Dehradun and ended up loving this place.<br/>The cafe have a decent wooden interior. There is also a working space in which you can relax and use your laptop and do work.<br/>Now moving towards the food.....<br/>They have an interesting menu with variety of food option. Their taste and presentation was perfect.<br/>FRUIT PUNCH WAFFLE has become my personal favour.<br/>English breakfast, Hot Chocolate, Irish Coffee, Espresso, Oreo Shake, Egg Cheese, Grilled Chicken Salad, Pizza Margherita were amazing.<br/>Coming towards price, it's pocket friendly.<br/>It's really an amazing place. I'll recommend you guys to visit this place atleast once and surely you are gonna love it ❤️

Mudcup Dehradun, a cozy cafe situated at old Rajpur with wooden interior which I personally liked alot. .<br/>This place has alot to offer and starting with their interior the seating is very cozy and they can adjust a group of people too. They offer workstation too in a separate room with charging docks where you can work in peace. .<br/>Coming to drinks,I tried their expresso double shot and the coffee beans they use are from Landour and the beans have a very unique flavour as they don't give out bitterness but a roasted flavour and a note of sweetness at the end. .<br/>Now coming to food part, I tried stir fried vegetables in gravy with rice, their veggie delight pizza, Margherita pizza and waffles with fruit.<br/>Vegetables in gravy with rice was perfect as the heat from chilly and the fresh crunchy vegetables in the perfect gravy along with rice was imparting a very nice flavour. Their pizzas are one of the best thin crust pizzas in Dehradun. They had a very nice cheese pull and had a authentic Italian touch to them. Ended my meal with crunchy waffles dipped in maple syrup along with fresh fruits was a perfect end to the meal. .<br/>I really loved the hospitality and the staff is really professional and the best part is this place is not expensive and you can easily plan a date here without worrying about expense part.

The Tea Room at Alaya is as interestig as it's name. It being located remotely is perhaps the best thing about it, rightly situated in Rajpur, away from the city buzz. It a nice little cozy place with a very balanced and yet appealing ambience.<br/><br/>The food menu is definitely not very diverse, but then it's not the type of place where you go for a big fat meal. It's the kind of getaway place where you go to have a cup of tea-coffee with some good bakery items and a good conversation.<br/><br/>I usually order a banana cinnamon pancake with a cappuccino, and that takes me quite well through a one hour conversation.<br/><br/>The food and everything is not out of the world, but it's quite good combined with the location and the ambience that the place offers.<br/><br/>You don't go to a place like this one specially to eat the good pancakes, but if you want to get away from work or citybuzz for a while and relax with a friend or your partner, enjoying good food and coffee, THIS IS THE PLACE.<br/><br/>

Tea room at alaya is situated in Rajpur . A quiet serene place with nice ambience on old mussoorie road. The food is good though Menu is limited. The sitting area is comfortable. The interiors catchy and different. They also have their own handicraft shop which is worth exploring. A perfect getaway from maddening rush of town.

One of my favourite places to chill in the Rajpur cafe circuit and by that I mean the kind of ambience where you can zone out for hours with just a couple of coffee or tea servings to keep you in touch with reality. The interiors are beautiful and the bakery tie-up with the Orchard Restaurant is a great idea! The cinnamon and banana pancake is a must have, perhaps the best of its kind in the valley.

I so wanted to visit this place from the day I heard about it. I went to this place today with one of my friend. You can actually see clouds hovering mountains. Interior is complete European style. I am a purely a nature lover and after visiting to this place I am in love with it. Unfortunately I could not eat anything because of my fast but I tried their mango lassi. It was original, without any artificial flavour or anything. It was just the curd and mango. No sugar or any mango crush. Very balanced and refreshing. Server was also very polite and humble. Service was real quick too. I am coming soon to have your hummus and pita bread. Thanks for opening up such a beautiful place in the city. All the very best.<br/>

One of the most serene places in Dehradun. The journey from Pacific mall till this exquisite place makes it even more beautiful. Good food and quiet surroundings made me put it on the check list. Would love to visit the place again!

Liked the aesthetics of the place a lot .....chai is what I mostly have there specially kehwa and other experiment for experience ...music is good nice place to chat over a cup of tea ..haven't tried anything on food yet..yes but did tried there eclairs some time back wasn't impressed......so I believe it still a learning curve and I am sure the place will evolve with more offering and better tea and bite experience.....the place definitely holds a lot of promise... parking might be a challenge as being on the sharp curve.

Well this place is just perfect for a lovely evening date. Its away from the city takes a nice drive to reach and we were in awe to see the nice wooden interior it’s one of a kind. The view of the hills from the tea room is beautiful and so is the ambience. The food was great.<br/>For beverages We ordered a ginger lemon honey tea which was amazing and soothing too, and an exotic iced kahwa which is their specialty and you cannot deny that. It was so refreshing and also had almonds it was flavourful. <br/>Along with that we ordered chicken keema samosas. Well this is the first time I had those in Dehradun and I would say they were great , filled with enormous amount of chicken golden fried and so crispy they were served with a nice chilli sauce which complimented it so well .<br/>Lastly we ordered from the Lebanese cuisine pita bread with hummus and falafel. Well this looked great the hummus was creamy and very tasty the pita bread was more dry than normal and the falafel was good the best in this was the salad served with it it was beautifully flavoured with a sweet chilly dressing. <br/>And also this place is very pocket friendly. Great service.

I'd heard some great reviews about this place. Tried getting there once but being a Tuesday, reached there only to find that it remains closed on Tuesdays. After a beautiful drive down the lanes of Rajpur, climb up the stairs to reach this cafe. The place looks interesting with some outdoor as well as terrace seating with gives a beautiful view of the mountains.<br/>The menu is very limited. We place our order for lemon mint ice tea, virgin mojito, lemon soda, grilled chicken salad, fresh fruit salad, vegetable sandwich and keema samosas.<br/>The beverages were disappointing. The ice tea was bitter, and the other two drinks tasted almost the same. The salads were good. We liked the keema samosas which were served with a chilli dip. On asking for more dip, we got tomato ketchup and when we asked for the same dip again, we were served mustard sauce. We ended up eating them without it finally. The waiters did not comprehend what we said and we had to repeat our request a number of times. The sandwich was overpriced and so were the desserts. The desserts are sourced from the Orchard's bakery. The portion of tge brownie was too small and they did not seem fresh.<br/>Would not recommend this place much to people actually looking for food. Only for ambience, view and a few things off the menu.

Good ambience. Located in a calm and peaceful place.<br/>Ordered just a cold coffee and a lime tea. They were decent. Not very great, not too bad either.

Its a serene place located at Old Mussoorie Road, Rajpur.We were 3 friends and we had Lemon Mint Iced Tea, Lemon Mint Mojito, Veg Burger and Three Cheese Sandwich out of their brief menu. The burger was different. Can go for it. Mojitos could have been better. Spent 650 bucks there. Would give 3 stars for food. One star more for courteous staff people. Overall experience was fine. Recommend if one wants to spend some Me time away from the city.

It’s a kind of place where you can sit by yourself and do your work or read a book. The ambience is perfect and the food is pretty decent. I ordered a fresh juice , a mocha and hummus with pita bread. The service wasn’t slow and the juice was so refreshing,loved the coffee. But the hummus with pita bread was ok-ish. I’ve had better. Overall the place is a must visit for all those who want some quiet quality time with themselves or their loved ones!

Such relaxing place it is 😍. Loved the songs they were playing such soulful and old school. As the name says the tea room, so it stands by its name tea were awesome and pancakes were amazing.

So it's been a long time since I tried a new cafe. Also, I had my eyes on this one for a long time. Finally was able to take out time to visit this place.<br/>This cute little cafe..well, for me every cafe is cute and little! 😀. The name itself gives an idea that this space is for tea/coffee lovers. And why not? We do need some more such cafes where we sit for hours taking in the aroma while sipping our tea.<br/>Now, such cafes usually do not have much on the eatry menu(which I had in mind). This one on the other hand has a wide variety of eatry.The food is good; so is the service, warm and quick. The best thing about this cafe is the unique ways they have of presenting food infront of you, which was very amusing to me. 😂<br/>When it comes to interiors, it's simple all wood. A bit old school but this is what makes it stand out (considering how other cafes are playing with their interiors and colours). I personally loved it. Somehow I find the place soothing.<br/>Also, if you happen to be there you can also check out a small store selling all natural stuff from pillow covers to ipad covers (yes the cafe is on first floor). My camera battery had died so couldn't click pictures of the store. 😀<br/>

A perfect place to spend time in peace. Located on the old mussorie road in the mist of nature. Away from the hassle of the city. Good ambience, good service. Food is a bit costly. U can have brownie and coffee which is good. Visit during cloudy days u will love it. A good view of nature with some picturesque scenes.

The Tea Room, a superb place to spend ur noon, evening.. Great ambiance, awesome music and a lovely staff. Easily one of my favorites cafes in Dehradun. Love the coffee and pancakes. Their ambience, music and view is just perfect. Totally recommend this place if you're out with your friends or just looking for a place to sit by yourself.
