Review Tahini's Restaurant - Dehradun

Finally a POCKET FRIENDLY and a great place to have lunch and dinner with your friends and family. Loved the quality and quantity of food, Presentation was not that good. But taste of food dominated the presentation. ❤️😍 MY FAV. From that place is Bhuna Gosht which was for 300 INR. With rulami roti and Chur chur naan. 🤤 And Creamy Mushroom corn which was for 360 INR. I've fallen for it and trust me I'm gonna have it again and again. INTERIORS were decent and the owner lady was also very friendly. Also she took our feedback and listen to the improvements that could be made very carefully. Staff was also cooperative. Check my pictures of this review for more information about the food and interior. ☺️ This place is something that need to grow in the food industry of the city. DO VISIT THERE FOR ONE OF THE BEST LUNCH AND DINNER IN THE CITY ITSELF. 😊

Ordered Bhuna Gosht and Chicken Biryani from this place, the mutton was ok but the chicken biryani was pathetic felt like it's not fresh also the oil they would have used was not tasting nice.<br/><br/>Guys atleast taste the things which you are giving people to eat. I got 2 Veg Kathi Rolls home-delivered for ₹178/-. What I did not know was that 2 Veg Kathi Rolls meant 2 packets containing 2 rolls each. So, what I got was 4 rolls. This is the oversmartness of Tahini's.<br/>Taste of the rolls is not up to the mark. THE RETRO ROLLS definitely serves much better Veg Roll & Chicken Roll.

Well I’m really disappointed with the quality of food these guys serve.. There was an actual COCKROACH in my food .. I won’t recommend these place to anyone ever .

It was not all up to the expectation. I hope that they will definitely improve their service next time. We ordered Momo's which was hardly available. Moreover the staffs were very much confused about the availability of the food.<br/>

Tahini's is situated in Dharampur . The ambience was great , atmosphere was good with comfortable sitting and they follow proper hygiene too . This place is on my list since long so I went there with my siblings .<br/>As I ordered variety of dishes but I liked their maincourse . A decent place to enjoy with your family and friends.<br/>Tahini's has got easily accessible location and a menu which will gain attention of North Indian food lovers.<br/>.<br/>We decided ordering<br/><br/>Lemon ice tea - ₹60 and Mango lassi - ₹70<br/><br/>Paneer tikka - ₹230<br/>It tasted good. Paneer was moist and soft tasted delicious with well seasoned onions<br/><br/>Veg Kathi rolls - ₹80<br/>They had delicious stuffing and allover had a good taste<br/><br/>Tandoori momos - ₹100<br/>They tasted average. Stuffing was delicious but they were a bit charred<br/><br/>Cream corn mushroom - ₹360<br/>The best I've had till date. Texture was creamy and the taste was amazingly delicious. A must have if you visit this place<br/><br/>In breads we decided ordering rumali roti ₹10 and butter naan ₹30<br/><br/>A 5 star rating for pocket friendly prices , location and taste.

Went to the restaurant with a few friends for lunch. The interior are simple and comfy, the owner greets the guests herself and makes sure everyone is comfortable.<br/>We ordered quite a few range of dishes starting from starters to main course and ending with Gulab jamun for dessert. Since it was a hit and humid day all of us ended up ordering shakes and Ice teas.<br/><br/>Starters :<br/>Veg Tandoori momos - Mildy spiced marinated veg momos and then slow cooked in the tandoor. These had fillings of cabbage, onion and soy granules. The momos were decent overall.<br/><br/>Paneer tikka - Beautiful marinated cottage cheese chunks and then cooked in tandoor. These had a beautiful balance of spice, heat and lemon. Could be eaten without any chutney or condiments.<br/><br/>Mushroom tikka - on the first look they appeared to be two button mushrooms stuck together with marinade and cooked in the tandoor. When spilt apart it was a different story all together. They had a lovely filling of spinach, garlic and cream which lifted the whole dish to another level.<br/><br/>Main course<br/>Paneer butter masala - This was a dish which was like a standard fare found in all restaurants. The flavours were ok. The gravy was thick and lent a nice texture to the overall feel of the dish. Nothing was out of place, nor anything stood out.<br/><br/>Cream corn Mushroom - Now we come to the star dish of the day. BEAUTIFULLY flavoured dish, which had sweet corn kernels which had been cooked in a cream base which was mixed with ground mushrooms. At fist look we were searching for the mushrooms in the dish, but none were to be seen. On tasting oh what a surprise it was. The beautiful texture of cream which hadn't split and mixed with the umami flavours of mushrooms and then the sweet hit from the corn and lastly an after taste from the cheese in the dish. This is a must have dish at this place for all.<br/><br/>Breads :<br/><br/>We had ordered Rumali roti, butter naan, tandoori roti and Chur Chur naan. All were decent and good. The thing in favour of the breads was that none of them was stretchy or hard and none of them felt rubbery on chewing. Which is a whole lot of plus in their favour.<br/><br/>Ice tea and shakes were a bit too sweet to our liking.

Poor service my order was confirmed and I was kept waiting for 1 hr and then suddenly I received a message that my order has been cancelled ,I got my refund but my point is if the restaurant isn't capable enough to deliver order then why it confirmed it really poor service<br/>
