I visited Sagar Ratna at Chaudhary Plaza Rajpur Road Dehradun. I loved the variety of Dosa's there like fusion Dosa 'spring roll Dosa' but my favourite was hot garlic Dosa , Idli Chaat and Tandoori Salad. Idlis were also soft and yummy. Vada were crispy😋staff was good. Overall a nice outlet to visit..

Went there in noon time.It was almost empty.Firsr of all tables were not that clean.Ordered rava dosa combo and strawberry shake.

Review for the new outlet ( Opposite silver City)<br/>I'm big fan of South Indian Cuisine, and for the very first time I tried Sagar Ratna.<br/><br/>What I ordered: Maharaja Masala dosa & Filtered Coffee.<br/><br/>I loved Maharaja Masala Dosa it was filled with Aloo & Paneer, it was served with sambhar Coconut Chutney, Red Chutney honestly it is way better than other Places.<br/>I will surely try more things from Menu.<br/>Filtered Coffee was also Good.<br/><br/>Highly Recommend If You love South Indian Cuisine.<br/><br/>Price Range: 300-600 (for 2 Person)<br/>Worth: it's a Paisa Wasool Deal 👍 ❤️

I went to this place to have a 4ft dosa with my friend...we really liked the staff they were polite n friendly and the dosa was also upto the mark but the sambar was not at all good....we hope next time we visit you the sambar will get better

Decent place for your South Indian cravings! I had ordered a Rava dosa which had a decent taste. However, one cannot expect the same quality as he or she would get any of its Delhi or Bengaluru branch!

Sagar ratna is a good and one of the favourite destination of vegetarians. Its a nice family restaurant serving quality dishes. Since its a chain, so they hardly compromise with service, hygiene and food quality.

BAD!!! It was really bad. My worst experience in sagar ratna. The quantity was too less. Sambhar was like shit. Chutney was stale and dosa wasn’t crispy at all. It was bad. I would not recommend anyone to go to this place.

The service at Sagar Ratna is extremely quick if you are ordering authentic South Indian food. The dosas are absolutely yummylicious. Went a few days back to try some medhu vadas and they were freshly prepared and really tasty.

Went there this week with great expectations but they were dashed quite rudely. <br/>The food is barely passable though it is supposed to be a specialty South Indian Food place. The sambhar left a lot to be desired as did the vadas. Dosa was passable and the rasam...just about ok. The ambience is going to seed and the owners need to do something about it pronto.<br/><br/>We were so disappointed that we didn't even have our fix of filter kapi, just wanted to get out of the place soonest.<br/>'Aint going there again, for sure.

Not recommended. Sambhar served with dosa tastes like spicy daal (flavoured with typical North Indians spices) and dosa was way too oily. Won't recommend for south indian food.

Wanted have some authentic South Indian food so thought Sagar Ratna would be our place. To our surprise the ACs were not working that too didn't deter us. It them almost 15 minutes after we were seated to just hand over the menu. To start with we decided to order a plate of idle, vada and their filter coffee. After requesting the staff several times to hurry up our order they finally brought a plate of idles, almost after a wait of 20 min plus. When I asked about the vadas they said it would take another 10 minutes. The idlies were under done they tasted raw, extremely poor texture and very hard. Sambar had no taste whatsoever only saving grace were the chatenies. Finally vadas arrived they were over done, slightly burned and tasteless. Seeing this we cancelled our coffee order and asked for the bill.<br/>Want to have bad time, lousy food and poor service go to Sargar Ratna!!!

We were looking for some food outlet other than north indian main course/ Punjabi and hence choose the restaurant. The food was really delicious and freshly cooked. When we entered, we were the only customers and hence were doubtful regarding the quality, but it was really good. We had veg soup, tandoori platter 2, paper masala dosa, uttapam and Hakka noodles and all were very delicious.<br/>We ate till our stomachs could not take any more. I would recommend this restaurant over many fine dining restaurants.<br/><br/>Definitely try tandoori platter 2. But for 3 people or more only as the quality is really good.

Not as good as expected!! Ordered paneer masala dosa taste was ok nothing special !! We have tirupati which has set the standard very high !! They need to work hard to get the customers coming back as tirupati is way ahead of the competition in terms of taste and quality !! Great ambience though

I went to this place with high expectations only because of the brand name. But was not satisfied considering my high expectations. <br/>Food quality (3/5)was just okay, even you will get better food from a apparently low profile restaurant like Tirupati. <br/>Food Quantity (4/5) is fine, it's sufficient to fill your stomach :-D<br/>Price (3.5/5), I won't say it is a cheap place or very over priced. But yeah considering the south Indian cuisine tradition, it's bit over priced.<br/>Hygiene (4/5) is cool<br/>Hospitality (4.5/5) is quite nice. Waiters are well mannered. <br/>Somehow the taste of the sambar and chatni disappoint me the most.<br/>

I 'd definitely suggest this place to be tired by anyone looking for family get together.<br/>Sagar ratna one of the best restro for south indian dish,if you are a south Indian food lover then must vist once.<br/><br/>The food and place is good,good ambience and good food,you never go wrong with this place. They have lots of tasty dishes in there menu.<br/><br/>They mainted the place well, neat and clean. The staff is polite and pleasant. I really belive if you have pleasant staff,as customers it make you feel welcome again and overall experience good.<br/><br/>I order harabara kebab,uttampam of my choice (paneer uttapam not including in menu but they make it on my special order),rasam vada, ravi kesari.<br/>All food are good and freshly cooked up<br/><br/>Reason of disappointment small space of parking area, over all good<br/><br/>

As the name is a brand in itself for delicious south Indian food. It was not so crowdy when we went there. Tried Rawa mysore masala dosa and something different from the basics of dosa i.e., hot garlic dosa, It was also good. The service is also good. This place is almost at the turn towards mussorie, so location wise it's best. You can go here while going to mussorie or coming back. They have really good food. For the 1st time I had cheese corn and spinach dosa, and it was amazing. And also had their vada sambhar, the vada's were nice and crispy as I like them and the sambhar was full of spices and tanginess as it should be.<br/><br/>The service and ambience is nice, the place is clean as well and also not at all expensive to the pocket.<br/><br/>All in all a great experience, definitely coming back here again.

Since Sagar Ratna is a brand and known for is quality food, I was excited when a branch opened nearby. We tried dosa and noodles which were just ok. The worst part were the stinking glasses due to which we could not drink water. The first experience of a customer should always be a good one which obviously was lacking.
