Review The Black Pearl Restro And Lounge - Dehradun

I wanted to visit Black Pearl restaurant for a long time and finally came here late at night, thanks to them for taking my last minute order and that too when they were closing their restaurant. The food was delicious, our servers were very friendly and the owners of Black Pearl were also very nice. The restaurant is very well decorated, It is very crowded here on weekends. You can come here for parties and their DJ is quite good.

This is one of the best places in dehradun for chilled out evenings. It's spacious and the first thing that strikes you is the decor. The dj started after 8.30. Music was fantastic.Lots of young people were dancing on the latest bollywood songs. We only ordered snacks and cocktails. Food quantity was good. Cocktails can be bit better.

Today I feel very good because making my day barman shivam making osm cocktail sexonthe beach ⛱️ is tarfic

Sometimes it also organises star performances.This place is best for small parties as they have separate area for the dance floor.I went there for birthday celebration of my friend and I remember they played the birthday song for my friend. She felt so special.The staff was very cooperative. Even after making a mess in the table and the floor they didn’t charge extra from us.Every dish was so delicious especially the non veg items be it kadai chicken or rara chicken or chicken lollipop.In all I love visiting this place again and again

Went there for a birthday party. The food was really good and the staff was too courteous specially mr rawat he managed so nicely. He even made sure that all the kids were well fed. Great for parties and celebrations

I had a wonderful experience at The Black Pearl Resort & Lounge. The hosts were exceptional, creating a welcoming atmosphere where I could simply sit back with my beer and unwind. The resort's various sections allowed guests to immerse themselves in different ambiences, all accompanied by delightful hosting. The staff was truly amazing, ensuring a memorable and lovely time there.

Food is not soo good but the atmosphere is awsom

Very good for family or official meetings. Proper dinning space and ambiance. Food is very very good specially chicken. I don't know about the veg. Rara chicken is the famous. It might be expensive for some people. Because this is for everyone. So i'm talking about everyone. If you are having chicken and naan and coldrink or mocktails. You will end up within 800-1000 for two people. But it is worth paying trust me. Very good staff. Proper space for dance. Drinks are quite expensive. Good for birthday parties also. Food taste was not so good that I can recommend some one to visit . As I tried Chicken afgani Lollypop Chicken rara..., Taste was not good Rest staff were good and well behave

Loved the food and ambience

One of the worst lounge in town.. they cheat on us.. first they provide discount coupons and then they refused to accept., food was pathetic and services are too slow.. 100/0👎🏻👎🏻

Don’t know from where to start<br/>1. Service was poor - proper cutlery was not provided, we had to ask for them<br/>2. Food was just average - nothing special <br/>3. No one was around during the meal duration <br/>4. Check the glass ( from the attached image you can make out- few glass were dirty )<br/>We had to literally shout to call up the waiter <br/>It is more of a bar than a proper restaurant

Recently visited this place for the very first time and it's having a good ambience and good quality food too.<br/>Honey chilly potatoes were excellent ❤️.

The place was lively and I liked the food , you get a lot of options and the prices are normal,<br/>I ordered veg pasta and veg lollipops along with beer, I loved the pasta and a bit disappointed with the veg lollipops.<br/>Overall one of the best in town

Most mismanaged place.<br/>They will book your reservation on call and when you reach there they deny it on your face.<br/>We had booked that place and travelled 40 kms at night but when they refused our entry,<br/>Denying that they didnt get the call saying the ph no. Wasn't valid.<br/>But when we called infront of them, the phone rang and was in the manger's pocket as we talked to him still he said some bullshit story and we had to walk away.<br/>

What do you crave for in a lounge<br/>1-good/decent meal<br/>2-adequate staff behaviour<br/>3-bang for the buck<br/>4-light/strong music<br/>5-nice quiet atmosphere<br/>6-a place to dance(if you're into it)<br/>7-cleanliness<br/>8-adequate seating place<br/>And the list goes on<br/>Well it's really up to your preference but that is what i crave for and black pearl satisfies almost all the check points in my list. Though the lounge is not for the cringy people who are constantly whining about how expensive a restraunt is (me included) but as it is said exceptions are always there.<br/><br/>The lounge is a good place to organise a party as there is ample space.<br/>Being located in a well known commute the lounge is easily spotable.<br/>The food although is a little expensive but worth it.The food offered by the restraunt was better than my expectations. I might say value for money<br/>The lounge does not offer any decent view..the only view available is of the road.<br/>For all you smokers out there There is no smoking area and if you wish to smoke then you have to move outside the lounge as indoor smoking is not allowed.<br/>There is decent variety of liquor available.<br/>The attitude of the staff is commendable and they are ever ready to assist you<br/>There is a dedicated dj if you wish to move those legs and they do play the song your desire<br/>Unlike other lounges where there zero room for sunlight (as if the people were hiding from something) this one is adecuately lit<br/>This is the place for people who want to have a good time with friends/family... yup this is a family friendly place(if you get what i mean)<br/><br/>My advice. Visit the place and experience it for yourself

Unethical....bad way of talking.... Manager was too rude for anyone's liking had no way to attend customers....... Was too off herself...Bad of a experience

An expensive place to eat and drink but the music and the ambience makes you somewhat ignore the cons of the place. Ordered Rara Chicken and Chicken Lollypop for starters. Chicken Lollypop was good and so was Rara Chicken. A 3 out of 5 rating for the place and hoping to give higher ratings when I visit the place next time.

Awesome place, at monsorri diversion. But better at night or for night dinner dates.<br/>Its cool but a lite expensive but what in the end its worth it.

There's no roof top ,waiters aren't professional ,mocktails will make you sick ,crispy corn wasn't crispy corn it was a mix veg .Stays up till 11:40 in the night .

Disgusting taste of food with too much of salt in every dish and wasn’t fresh at all, poor service and their zomato menu has different pricing as compared to in house menu which is relatively much higher. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all if you want good food or family atmosphere dining.

Been there had tried their dahi kabab, chilli paneer & their cosmopolitan...i did not eat more thįngs but whatever i ate which is awesome nd decorations was nice nd music too... all were good👌

An okay place to through a party rates are little bit on the expensive side but the music and the ambiance kind of makes up for it. <br/>Saturday nights are busy so if you’re planning to visit on saturday please be patient for like 15-20 minutes as the table gets free.

A good place to throw a party. They have a large area with good music system. Also one can have drinks as they have bar which servers good cocktail. Price is high, food is aversge, ambience is good. Overall it's an average place. Good for partying.

Zomato reviews weren't very high still gave it a shot and walked in. Poor selection of beer nothing on the menu available. Worst was the food ordered chicken stroganoff. The gravy was so watery topped with oregano. Total no no for this place

If u end up being at Black Pearl accidentally (not a part of the a pre decided party), u may get stinking food. They can’t serve u beer they mention on the menu. Thats the tragedy with Dehradun (majority of them): “Unchi dukan pheeke pakwan”. <br/><br/>

Honestly I taught this would b good lounge to organise party but they just ruined it ...food and lighting was good but there were several problems like management was not in time ...they will tell u that they will play dj upto 2 hours but honestly they didn't even play it for 2 hours properly ... I was really disappointed by the management as they didn't placed the dinner on time coz of tht my three freinds went away as they were getting late nd also hukka was totally crap it was not getting charge even several attempt it was just not .... At the end of the day customer has no problem in giving payment as long as the service is worth it 👎 ....sooo if ur planning to throw a party here just think twice 🤐

Food was quite good not too bad you could say average , but do notice this thing that management system is too too too poor like serious shit.it could ruin your mood as you have to get up again and again and ask for thing as no one will be there to a point you and hooka i mean like shit it was the worst i have ever in my life smoked in 3 puff i knew its worst and they even weren't able to fix it so 0 point for that and my personal advice never ask hooka at that place cause its use less apart from that dj was quite good as lights are good up there but again as management was poor our dj was poor aswell didn't played as per said drinks were good i found only and only one worker good out there who was helping me out else manager was not ever bothering bout things and even the dinner wasn't ready at time for that management thing i give zero so my advice not good for organizing party but good to have dinner

A big no if you’re visiting on Saturdays. We had to wait for like 15min for the table and no one was there to assist, the other 15min we had to wait at the table for the waiter to come. Continental menu was not being served. The good thing is the music in there. <br/>Ambience - 3.5/5<br/>Food - Chilly potato-1/5, Chilly Chicken-2/5<br/>Service - 1/5<br/>Staff is polite so 3/5

This place is nice if you wish to throw a birthday party or hanging out with friends. The place is huge, I particularly liked the bar section. There are less places in Dehradun where you can actually sit on the bar and drink.<br/>They serve good cocktails too, and have a good disc area if you wish to dance.<br/><br/>We tried both veg and non veg dishes. the Tandoori Mushrooms were amazing and so was the egg noodles and tangri Kabab.<br/><br/>Prices are slightly on the higher side, but then the ambiance makes it up for the same.<br/>

The location of black pearl is situated at a serene place in dehradun. It is very spacious and has live dj live bar and everything u wish a lounge has. We ordered a crispy Vegetable and harabara kabab with passion delight in drinks. Food was really good but it is over to a pricy end in terms of costs . <br/>Went with my food/crime partner Neha Jain

It is an expensive outlet with delicious food.We were two people and we ordered manchow soup,Harabhara Kebab,Crispy vegetables and chosen Passion delight as a beverage.The mocktail was absolutely refreshing and so were the delicacies.<br/>Their kebabs are amazing.The funny thing in their menu is instead of snacks they have mentioned snakes🤣<br/>The ambience is amazing.If its convenient for you then try to go to this place at night or late evening.

The 2 starts are for the decor. The food well we didn't get any coz the staff said that they couldn't provide with any kind of bread even @7pm '' ROFL'' so North Indian food option was out, and not like they have a large variety of Chinese dishes. The DJ they spent so much money on was useless as the one operating only played what he wanted to listen so dancing was not an option. Ultimately we had to leave only eating starters so thx to them our birthday party was a ball of blunders.

Good change to usual pubs in doon in terms of dj and dance floor bt varieties both in food and drinks are very limited. No such spl dishes and drinks. In beer only budweiser was available and hard drink usual 100 piper, black dog etc.<br/>On request hookah was given with choice of only one flavor and that too was jst ok @500 ₹ which is more than many other gud places in dehradun.<br/>Songs are played only when large group of ppl is present otherwise they dont play.<br/>Hope they improve in near future !!!
