Review Woods Grill Lounge & Cafe - Dehradun

So this is just next to hotel JSR continental hotel , it's on the First floor where you need to take elevator to get onto the lounge , no stairs . The interior has it's authentic look. Place is cozy and elegant good for groups but not good for dinning alone. Has separate area for hooka lovers and have huge sitting arrangements. All kind of mocktails and beverages are available here. They don't serve alcohol here as young kid's also come around the lounge . Has rooftop cafe with lovely sights covering the huge range of doon. Good staff and well maintained dining tables. They also accept all Card payments.

Ambience - 4.5 Service - 4 Food - 3.5 Overall - 4 without doubt. Had a great experience with friends on a birthday party. Good food, though on the costlier side,with the ambience they provide is worth a try. Kudos.

Awesome Service and Awesome place. The overall price were very good. Hookah lounge and food court are separated that makes this place unique and better than others. I would recommend hookah at a very reasonable price and Awesome food quality with a large number of options. Like Chinese, North Indian, Hard core main course menu. The food was good and portion size was awesome. I ordered grilled chicken that comes with complementary potato fries. Overall a good experience because of nice ambience, good food quality, awesome service, hygiene was good. Payment options flexibility and so much cozy environment that I recommend next time whenever you go to rispana try to check out the place if you are interested in hookah.

Don't order CHILLY POTATO... I had a very bad experience with that, even the waiter who was serving that day he also said that Chinese is not good in here, when I asked him to suggest something. But I can't say this restaurant bad, it has nice decoration and atmosphere. Staff was very polite and friendly 😃😄 but they need to change their chef. Location is good but I will say that parking is not sufficient there. All the best WOODS GRILL LOUNGE & RESTAURANT.

Wonderful place to eat as they have a great taste. Location can be ab issue as you can face a heavy traffic reaching it at the Respena Pull. The launge area is now covered with glasses which used to be open and ventilated.

Great interiors and nice ambience. The staff and management is warm and welcoming. The food was light and tasty. Palak corn and garlic kulcha is highly recommended. Overall a great experience, would love to go again.😁

Ambiance of the place is pretty good, but food on menu is not always present. Has seperate lounge for hukkah and stuff, a separate restaurant and a seperate cafe. Staff are nice, be careful using the elevator.

Ambience is pretty good, food is ok but staff is very good. Plus you got rooftop experience here. So you can have pretty good time here with your friends.

90% of the restaurant is sealed. Only 1 waiter in the whole restaurant. Zomato gold was denied.

Amazing food, and the staff is really good, the service is just amazing and moreover the interior is really good. It’s a must visit place in Dehradun. So I request everyone to go.

Worst experience. Wasted about 1k. I never saw Lachcha Parata of the kind supplied. Chicken was not at all good. Poor quality. Regretted booking food from this place.

Loved the terrace area....the food was quite good...specially the chicken tikka and murg malai tikka. Service was fast...overall good experience

2 stars only for the ambience. The terrace seating is nice and spacious. But I didn't like the food. The peach ice tea was too sugary. The shakes menu is a bit limited and the shakes weren't that good. It tasted like something we would make at home. Also tried paneer sandwich which were the worst paneer sandwich I have ever had.

2 pieces of gulab jamun for rupees 90.well it is too expensive!! and it wasn't good enough to justify the price..let down by the whole experience

It was a great experience. To all the hookah lovers it is a great place with bolly songs but for the non lovers or we can say hookah haters then they can go at the rooftop. All things were great but they just have to improve their service as today i wanted to eat pizza but it was not available.Sad

Well I am rating it 3 just because of the peaceful ambience they have.<br/>I ordered veg pizza and death by Oreo Shake. The pizza was just okay they need to have it pan based, bigger in size and toppings should be better, the pizza sauce was so much on the pizza that it was making the taste bad of pizza and shake was nice.<br/>They need to work on food.

Butter chicken was good but the chicken didn't seem to be fresh. Hakka Noodles were fine not exactly Hakka. Food needs improvement. It's a new restaurant/cafe so I think they will improve with time.<br/>

Awesome restaurant for veg food.  We ordered veg sizzler which is one of the best I have ever had!!! Loved the starters & drinks. Very good service. Will visit again for sure.

Visited this place for evening snacks. The ambience is good but the adjacent hookah parlour's blaring Bolly songs did seem a bit annoying. The decor is nice and the graffities wall looked cool.<br/><br/>As for food, we ordered chicken mayo sandwiches, chicken lollypop and chicken malai tikka.<br/><br/>The sandwiches came with a side of crunchy fries which were good. But the sandwiches themselves were disappointing to say the least. There was very little filling inside, and it was pretty dry. Moreover, there was a strange milky taste in the sandwich which was very off-putting.<br/><br/>The lollypop tasted average (I mean have had much better lollypops at shabbier places) but it is way overpriced- six quite skinny pieces for nearly 300 rupees is not at all justified.<br/><br/>The malai tikka was the best of the lot; it was creamy and filling though a little underseasoned.<br/><br/>We had ordered a virgin mojito and orange juice. The mojito was good but the orange juice tasted watered down (or perhaps made from powder).<br/><br/>Overall, a letdown and not second visit worthy.

I must say I’ve been to this place more than 3 times and everytime i go its always as welcoming and refreshing as the first time!! The unique decor and ambience makes you never wanna leave! You can enjoy the amazing delicacies and try flavoured Hukkas as per your choice. If in doon and want to escape the city crowd come to this amazing place with rooftop area to enjoy the scenic valley view....And the food is great...Loved there double cheese pizza and honey chilly potato.

If your in Dehradun and looking for a new and awesome place to have a great meal look no further than Woods grill. This place was recommended to my by one of my friends and it turned out pretty good. Located near the Rispana bridge the restaurant comprises of two floors with a rooftop sitting arrangement. Great ambience and excellent service really puts a smile on your face as you eat their delicious food. We ordered Murgh Malai which is one of the best I have ever had!!!<br/>Hope to come back and enjoy the food again.

So I went there a few days back.<br/>It's located near rispana above Yamaha showroom on haridwar road.<br/>The ambience is quite good. But food was not up to my expectations.<br/>We had honey Chilli potato, fried rice, Manchurian, noodles, spring rolls and chicken lollipop.<br/>Honey Chilli potato and Manchurian were horrible.<br/>Noodles were good. They had a smokey flavour.<br/>Also the chicken lollipop was OK.<br/>The spring rolls and fried rice were average.<br/>The food needs improvement.<br/>
