Popular for sweets and food (Indian cuisine), went to this place for lunch. On the ground floor they have a sweet shop and above they have a pure vegetarian restaurant. Tried Dahi Puri, Pani Puri, Veg Noodles, Onion Rawa Masala Dosa and Gulab Jamanu. Pani Puri and Onion Rawa Masala Dosa was average in taste. However Dahi Puri, Noodles and Gulab Jamun were delicious. Rates are little on the higher side. Service is good. Staff is courteous.

You get variety of food and snacks ! It has sweets and chat counters on the ground floor and a restaurant on first floor. Mainly a fast food kind of a restaurant! The food is good, however the chat section is best out of the options available! Service is prompt! Nice pure veg restaurant in dehradun. We tried makke ki roti, sarso ka saag, lacha tokri chaat, veg steam momos, khandvi, dry Manchurian, gur rasgulla. Everything except momos was very tasty. Momos were a big disappointment. Everything is not overpriced also. But the taste is really good.

It was a wonderful experience there. We were not so hungry that's why we tried their snacks. Oh boy they were one of the finest i have ever had in Dehradun. To start with we shared dahi bhalla which was not super cold and also was so damn flavorful. Then we tried something which i am forgetting it was equally good just as dahi bhalla. Then we tried the veg spring rolls. The spring rolls were very soft and were fried as per to my liking; less fried in oil. The service was great as it was not that busy at around lunch time. 5 stars for everything.

I ordered a Mysore masala dosa from this place. I ordered basis the review rating on Zomato. The delivery was quite efficient. It was packed well. I liked the chatni and the thick sambhar however the dosa cud have been better. The crispiness was somewhat missing. I found too much potato stuffing. But it was ok. It is medium priced.

We went for dinner. The place looks small and average from outside but the food is something which leads you to this place. We ordered, Mini thali - tandoori roti was soft and crisp, matar paneer tasted very good, dal fry was nice and full of tadka. The rice could have been better. - Singaporean noodles was too yumm -Masala buttermilk was perfectly spiced with ginger, chilled and coriander. Superbbb combination. Do try it Overall a nice vegetarian restaurant serving good food. Also the chaats and sweets are good here.

I visit here almost every week I love Chaats And undoubtedly they Serve best in Town. My favorite is Dahi Puri, served with lots of Chutney and Dahi. Masala Dhokla: Rs 35 only. Again, I loved it..❤️ Malpua with Rabdi Malpua can be better Rabdi was delicious. Overall: it's a Paisa Wasool Deal 👍 ❤️

We were taken here by friends and locals. Spoilt for choice with the huge range of veg options, I went with kulcha and tikki. Having never eaten these before I wanted to try something new. The aloo tikki chaat was just amazing. It's become my new favourite. The kulcha was a huge aloo paratha, but it was very good, too. Ordering the kesar laasi reminded me of the thick, rich laasi I had in Jodhpur, 20 years ago. Others ordered the thali, Chinese platter, kulfi, rasgulla and I tried some of my son's rasmalai at the end - it was so good. The bill was nominal for the amount of mouths fed. Anandam has set a new standard for veg restaurants. I just wish they had a branch in Delhi.

This was my to go place years back when i was in Dehradun. Now there are 3 outlets of this restaurant in Dehradun. I visited the one in Hathibarkala recently. The taste and quality remains the same as it was 5 years back. Had pani puri, tikki, pav bhaji, laccha kachori and samosa. Liked aloo tikki the most. We ordered Pav Bhaji, Cholle Bhature, Onion Kulcha with Dal Makhani & Raita, Anandam Special Dosa, Badam Milk & Kulfi with Falooda from here. All the items were very good in taste. I have been to this place many times. It is a just like a Haldiram of dehradun but no self service. I ordered - raj kachori , Kalma vada , cholle bature , pau bhaji, kachori with sabzi & kulfi faluda. Everything was presentable & great in taste infact quantity was also appropriate to its price. I personally found it very easy on pocket. Staff was very friendly. Overall it was good except for the fact that the feel & ambience of this place is just okay. Visited today after a few months, the outside was stinky. As soon as I entered, a fermented sweet smell welcomed me. Upon sitting on the table, I was handed over a menu card which was probably used as hand tissue by last customer. The waiter changed it on request but gave 2 menues one of which was even worse. The table was looking stain free but was sticky all over. Didn't have anything after that hence no comments on food quality but... Conclusion. The hygiene and cleanliness has taken a backseat in anandam and hence a big NO at least for current humid and rainy season. I hope they take this review seriously and do the needful.

Its a family outlet with ample of seating space three floors and outdoor seating area, but then also there is waiting and long queues. The ambience is subtle. The staff is courteous and the service is quick. It was a family dinner and there was a lot on the table. Paneer butter masala is a must have. Their mushroom tikka is not good, I even conveyed the same to the staff but there wasn't any action. Kulfi falooda is must have. Overall the outlet is highly recommended. One could spend a good time with their family and friends there.

Anandam has a good variety of sweets and that makea it so special. Their lassi is lip smacking. Plus the raj kachodi is very tasty. The kulfi, rabri, malpua, rasmalai, are also amazing. It was simply good. Just that their malpua was too thin and only one per plate with too much of rabri was a low. But yet the taste did not fail to impress.

A PLATE FULL OF FOOD

Anandam, in the haithibarkala sarwala is a nice place for Indian snacks and main course along with lots and lots of Indian sweets. So comming towards the interior, it is quite good, clean and well - maintained. Moving ahead with the food:- First thing I ate was pani puri popularly known as Golgappas and many different names. They were not as delicious as I expected. Then I had papdi chaat that was not at all good, it was sweet instead of being spicy. Then at last I had ras malai which was the best of all. I will be rating this restaurant 2.5 as there was no one to assist us and the restaurant was not able to make my plate full of food.

I love this place. Their kulfi faluda is amazing. Their snacks are mouth watering and delicious. Dhokla, khandvi,chat are my favorite over there. Their dosa is a must try. I didn't like their gol gappes but all in all it is value for money. Sitting arrangement and ac will let you eat in peace. Though their indian food may be less in quantity but they maintain hygiene and quality so it is acceptable.

Usual ambience with nothing fancy. Food is decent as well. Visit this place for a quick bite of local chats - pani puri, chats and all are good. Don't try Chinese cuisine not their specialty at all. Staff is friendly and service is quick as well.

It's a good place for sweets and chat, but being on the higher side and not delivering that taste makes me rank this one a but lower. The burfi and Ras malai are by far my favorites here
