Review The Garage Dine In - Dehradun

Good restaurant though could be better. Small place and should be more cosy in winters. Food is okay. Some items I ordered were average and some were good. Quantity and price is good. Restroom needs cleaning though. Car parking could be an issue at times on peak traffic cos you have to park on the road side.

Nicely designed with modern architecture to suit its name. Traditional Indian dishes with modern tadka. Food was fresh and well cooked. So guys do try once and see it yourself.

I ordered butter chicken and it was good.. loved the tenderness of the roasted chicken. Please sir you need to improve the portion quantity of chutney as I got a 50 gm of green chutney with a full portion of butter chicken. (What if I ordered half portion then I'll got the same portion of chutney). Didn't like the other chutney as it's taste like peanut and coconut chutney, like we eat with south Indian dishes.

Their commitment to the car theme is what attracted me and I tried the place out. Ambience and presentation does not disappoint at all. 10/10 for the atmosphere. Their menu is also very creative with dishes that you won't find anywhere else. Lots of cool dishes to try! We tried chicken cigars (an interesting dish that has chicken rolls presented as cigars with some amazing chilli sauce dip) and grilled chicken tacos that are pretty great with an Indian touch to the popular Mexican dish. Not the BEST tasting food I've ever had but it's pretty close. Well cooked, tasty, filling and very satisfying for the price. Unfortunately we didn't take any photos but I'll maybe upload some next time because we're definitely gonna go again. Recommended. Very creative and unique place. Definitely worth a try.

Awesome dinner last night.The chicken was too good and hats off to the decoration.It was all plain and unique. The staff was had a really good and genuine nature.... Please dont forget to look at the petrol filling pipe which gives water.! 6 of 5 stars

Great food, nice little place to have a sumptuous meal with a variety to choose from great starters to main course to drinks to desserts. Love the presentation. To top it all, the staff and service is amazing and loved it. Will visit again when hungry alot

The variety of food u r gonna get there is really good. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly. All the dishes are good. U can try them all. Must recommend

What a fantastic restaurant in Dehradun on the way for Mussoorie to Delhi. They have managed the restaurant very amazingly great, What a good quality of food and a Proper blend of spices and very great hospitality. Services were even at its best.

Honestly I can't wait to visit this place... specially because of the Chef Sidakpreet Singh Kalra..!! Chef Kalra brings with him self his distinct journey which inspires a cuisine infused with tastes commingled from all over the world... Savor through his rendezvous with flavors so finesse and distinct that it can be compared to none in his echelon.... Highly recommended! !

Zero customer satisfaction , pathetic service .

The garden restaurant bahut achcha restaurant hai yahan per bahut achcha khana mila tha packing acchi karte hain aur yah testi bahut achcha hota hai clearance bhi achcha hota hai so I like this

One of the excellent Dine-In places on entire GMS Road & Chakrata Road, Dehradun. Innovative ambience, moderate pricing and excellent test. Plus, offers good service and ample open parking.

its a must try that place. they provide variety food in Dehradun. Especially the chawal with raita combos and tacos...love it.. looking forward to visit again..

Food quality is worst. Ordered non-veg dish and it was uncooked. On requesting the waiter to change, the staff as well as the owner behaved rudely, instead of changing the dish. Worst restaurant in dehradun. The owner n staff have No manners at all how to behave with guests. If you want to waste your money n get disrespected then only you should go.

Went to The Garage Dine-In for the first time on a friend’s recommendation and been there many a times since. Without an iota of doubt one of the best restaurants in town if not the best. It’s USP is the non- vegetarian items it has to offer coupled with the ambience,decor and the service and you will find yourself feasting and finger licking. For the vegans you must try its Dahi ke Kebab, I can bet you won’t find better than that anywhere in town. Easy on your pocket you will enjoy the wholesome experience The Garage offers and leave as a satisfied smiling 😊 guest .

Amazing experience with a decor that justifies its name “the garage dine-in” for starters the attendants have a garage uniform for themselves .. and the wash basin is made of tyre and gas pump nozzle!! What I tried-<br/>1) hand rolled cigar - excellent preparation with well cooked chicken stuffing giving a well burnt feel that seems like a cigar<br/>2) Chicken taco- it is a fusion with Malabar parantha acting as a taco shell and taco stuffing none of them have lost their taste in the fusion the parantha retained the South Indian taste giving a spice of Mexican taco <br/>3) Mutton Barra Tandoori- extremely delicious well marinated and beautifully coated took me back to the Mughal era.<br/><br/>A highly recommended place to savour in Dehradun !! <br/>

Tried the rara mutton on recommendation and it didn’t fail to amuse my taste bud. And tawa fish wit mint was good. Little focus needed on the service otherwise the foods thr are amazing.

This one is like my favourite. I have visited to the restuarant only once but ordered food like thousand times.<br/>I love the variety of chicken they serve. Vilayati subz was delicious and chicken patiala shahi , chicken rara and chicken tari wala. Everything was upto the mark.

This place is so cool.<br/>The waiters are well dress and very polite. The food is so good.<br/>The ambience is cool. They serve the chutney with your order and the snacks and yup they give you the पान wali toffee with your bill which reminds you the 90's.<br/>

Nothing is too good here.<br/>I ordered chicken sandwiches that had only mayonnaise and no chicken loaded with oil.<br/>Ambience is simple.<br/>Washroom is funny definitely..like a garage with barrels and stuff.<br/>Chilly hot chocolate was different but not good.<br/>They tried fusion fooding but I don't think it is up to the mark.

Worst decision to go there. Chicken was under cooked or something it had blackish veins inside it. I would not recommend anyone going there.

This has been my favourite dine-out place ever.<br/>We had chicken chawal, mutton curry and raita in our main course and Garage trio as dessert.<br/>Presentation: 4.5/5<br/>Taste: 5/5

The only thing that was worth a try on the menu was this Garage flower pot. Layered Nutella cake with ice cream and Oreo was indeed a treat to the sweet tooth.

An expensive one!<br/>Their sandwiches are superb whereas they lack in beverages.Their drinks are not at all good in taste.One thing that I would like to appreciate is their way of presenting a dish.<br/>One can try out this one.

This is going to be my last order from this place we ordered 2 portions of butter chicken and 10 khamiri chapatis. The chicken was horrible and chapatis uncooked. They replaced the chicken which was i dont know what dish it was but it was tabdoori chicken in some gravy which was thrown away to the dogs ofcourse. The chapatis were uncooked parathas they even know what khameeri roti is. I have attached the pic of the chapati. Just have a look at it yourself again those were thrown away to the dogs. Atleast they had a party of rs1100. ... this place should NEVER BE CONSIDERED for an option as food.

A calm place away from the city's buzz. This is the place if u r interested in twisted flavours ! All their "on the menu" food are fusion which are well tested and perfected. The Malabar Parota Taco and Flower Pot are pure show piece. This is definitely a must go place for trying out new "off the shelf" food. BEWARE: The joy of the people here is highly contagious ! They ll befriend you in notime ;)

Had food here twice..once dine in and once home delivery...bit unique preparation...tarts were good...roll was also good... service is nice at the outlet...home delivery is slow... ambience is good...overall taste 6/10..service 5/10...ambience 7/10..value for money 7/10.

Vanilla ice cream topped with oreo biscuit chunks. Even though in the menu the description also mentioned nutella, but apparently there was no nutella. Tad expensive. Beautiful presentation.

They present the most basic indian cuisines in a very Creative manner.. we ordered a simple paneer tikka masala but didn't expected the way it was presented to us. Two thumbs up for the presentation. Paneer tikka masala and khameeri roti is a must try.. the only downside is the seating arrangement and space. Definitely worth a try though..

This place is a must visit! The ambience is perfect. The quality of food server is marvelous. I personally met the Chef just after I had the first bite. It was the first time I tasted such a dish! It was Awesome!!!! The tagline "Progressive Indian Cuisine" perfectly describes everything! <br/>I bet you won't have tasted the desserts they offer, anywhere! 💯
