Review Mamagoto - Dehradun

Delicious sushi, dim sums, spicy noodle and chicken dishes, and tasty baos, Mamagoto is a brilliant addition to Ddun’s food scene. The decor is mad as well. I’m also a big fan of the Gomai salad.

We came as tourist to this amazing Asian place and it was above our expectation 🤩 We ordered : Veg dim sum platter & Veg Hakka noodles And both were so tasty and scrumptious 😋 The service by Manju Raj was specially overwhelming and she was so sweet like our dessert 🍨 ( must try homemade coconut date sugar ice cream ) Overall 10/10

Amazing and authentic food. Love it from past 7 years. I have been to their various branches country wide and the taste and quality remains same. My all time favourite is the sponge cake with toffee sauce and the dim sums

Been fairly regular and not even a single time has the place disappointed. The food, ambience, and the staff… best experience in dehradun. Was served by this lovely lady, Ms. Manju Raj, the hospitality was simply amazing!

This is a good place to try Pan Asian food options , I like there Ramen bowls but it can be too much spicy for those who can't bear hot chillies, so do confirm about your tolerance level before ordering .

The ambience was good. Food and drinks were very good. The place was baby friendly. The sushi we ordered was amazing. The staff was friendly and courteous. Tried the pomegranate margarita and it was well mixed. Had a good time. 4 stars because the service was a bit lousy and can be improved.

Mamagoto, in literal meaning is an interactive, context aware Japanese dining system which encourages kids to 'play' with their food to sense its texture and shape. Inspired from this concept, idea of Mamagoto existed to give their customers a fun Asian eating experience on the table and it lived to my expectation by the time I left the place after enjoying my lunch. It’s one of the rare places in the city for good sushi, so don’t miss out! You also get plenty of options for the main course, which are perfectly filling and equally delicious. Desserts are just as scrumptious as the rest of the courses here. If I talk about the ambiance, it’s quirky with Asian pop art strewn over the walls.

Enjoyed the cocktail called Spice Merchant mixed by the in house bartender S. Rawat. Tastefully presented food with amazing flavour and a deceptively simple appearance. Great place to eat and treat yourself. Not noisy or crowded!

An authentic asian cuisine restaurant in Dehradun! As soon as I entered, the ambiance did it for me! The staff was quick on their feet to get our orders. We had sangria which was delicious, sadly I had too many of it during the lunch. :( Loved the steamed chicken wontons! Will surely go again and try more stuff out from their menu. An update: Went back again and this time tried chicken fried rice and noodles, they were top notch! Enjoyed it with couple of pints of beers 😁

Just happened to visit this place when i was in dehradhun, This restaurant is located next to pacific mall, i loved the food and service. Coming from a metro like bangalore and experienced a lot of fine dining, food was a pleasant surprise and the cost was reasonable. Service was great. Do not forget to order the coconut and palm sugar home made ice cream.

Can cure your Korean food cravings. Friendly people with great environment. The paintings are so good and different from others. Bowls of food are like bowls of love and reminders of that you are still alive 😌😌

Just walked into the place with just a vague idea of having sushi. Loved the interiors just from the moment I pushed the front door, and walked into an embrace of a place with fresh air, delightful music, japanese murals and artworks on the walls and comfy seating with mood lighting. No doubt the food was great including the Lemon Zest and Mint Lemonade, Spicy Salmon Rolls and Street Style Spicy Dimsum Chicken. Prices are not too high, you can expect a bill of around 2000 rupees for two people. The service is fast and the staff is polite and professional. Will be visiting again soon, but with friends this time.

Do you wanna try that dish out that you saw on some K-Drama? Don’t worry because finally our city has got the first and the oldest Pan Asian Restro. Isn’t that a great news? Now you can have authentic Ramen, Sushi, Gimbap and flaunt on your IG stories.😍 As soon as you enter you would see Japanese Portraits on the walls that gives an aesthetic look to the Restro. Even the decor is authentic and the ambience is vibrant. So you would surely get some instagrammable pictures here.😌 The music is dynamic and you will actually feel the vibe.💖 As I have already mentioned, it is a Pan Asian Restro so you can expect wide range of Sushi, Ramen, Dimsums on the menu. The veg options are minimal also you may or may not like the taste of Sushi if you are having it for the first time because not everyone has got a taste for that. Special mention- They serve complimentary Rice Crackers with Sauces. They are really yum!🥰 Well, this place is be a bit pricy but it is totally worth it. The staff is courteous and the service is satisfactory. Some Must Try⭐️- Wild Mushroom Edamame Cream Cheese & Truffle Oil, Passion Fruit & Orange Cooler, Crispy Lotus Stem, Veg Basil Cup, Caramel Sponge Cake.

Ambience-4.5/5:Being a multi-city restaurant Mamagoto's ambience is a bit familiar to me. I’ve always adored its quirky, colourful, and urban art decor inspired by manga and anime that exudes playfulness on every corner. I find myself admiring the countless fun poster frames and the flares of vibrancy throughout the restaurant. There's even a lounge-style outdoor space and an expansive bar - courtesy of Foxtrot. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Food- 5/5: It's one of the few options in Dehradun for trying pan Asian food and I can't complain as they have been very consistent with their flavour and menu choice. I'm gonna list down my favourite ones from the bunch. Mamagoto means "to play with food" and it is the first and only pan Asian cafe. They have Verity of dishes and i can't even name my favourite. They have a quirky and colorful ambiance. There sushi menu is also great.

A well known chain that finally entered Dehradun !!! The decor is simply outstanding with lovely colours and a well lit seating area. They have an outdoor space too . The menu is well spread and has a lot of options too . Everything we ordered tasted good.

I am giving them five out of five. I wanted to eat 🍣 sushi for a long time and had it right here (mamagoto) and it was good for no doubt. And one thing Wasabi is not the original, as I had sushi in China the wasabi is amazing that I was not able to eat (hehhehe), but here it has no tough taste. And we do orders noodle, momo and drinks. Noodle and momo were so so, not so amazing. But I like their service and sushi of course.

Mrs Manju is doing an amazing job.Great food and amazing environment to get belly full.
