Review L'amour Bakehouse - Dehradun

I have been visiting Lamour Bakehouse for a few years now and the experience has always been pleasant. If you wish to get a customised cake, this is your go to place. However, the customized cakes are quite expensive, sometimes prices are as high as 3300 for a small cake (weight wise) but an elaborate design. Even a basic sheet cake design is 1500 for 2 pounds pineapple cake. Which I feel is at a higher price range. Probably non customized cakes might be reasonably priced. However, the cake turns out almost 90% the same as the design. The taste is also good, better when you opt for seasonal cakes like mango strawberry etc. The bakehouse is upfront about limitations, costs and any customisation that is not possible, at the time of taking an order, so there are no surprises at the time of delivery. They are also very punctual and the cake is always ready at the time they communicate at the time of placing the order. Hence, the reason for sticking to this bakehouse is the professionalism and their attention to detail. You can even customize the sugar content in the cake if you like less sugar in your sweets. The bakehouse which was earlier at GMS road and is now shifted to vasant vihar is at a perfect place as it's not difficult to find. It's the opposite of "The Asian school". The Ambience is lovely, the decor is perfect and as soon as you enter this place you are surrounded by the fragrance of cinnamon and cakes and everything is nice and you are instantly reminiscing about Christmas. I have never had a chance to try snacks here but would love to try in the future. For cakes, it's a no-brainer go-to option if price is not your limitation.

10/10. It's one of the bakeries in Dehradun where they actually know how cheesecakes are made.. I also got to know that their chef had worked in a lot of bakeries abroad. Hence his experience says it all.❤️❤️ Cheesecake and Co. Ko acchi takkar di hai yahan ke Cheesecakes ne.. moreover prices are also pocket friendly.❤️I have a cheesecake obsession so I can comment on that only..Rest I hope other items are also as good as cheesecakes.😊👍

The place is quaint. It has a warm and cosy vibe. The outside seating is bright with white furnitures and a lot of greenery. The staff are attentive and polite. We had gone for some coffee and snacks. Though the coffee was good the coffee art could have been better. We had chicken bruschetta which was tasty but the chicken coleslaw sandwich had an overpowering taste of mayonnaise and that is all that one could taste. The fresh fruit pastry was the best, light not too sweet with a nice balance of flavours. The chocolate doughnut was very dry and probably not fresh.

A lovely little bakehouse that is dishing out some delectable desserts. We enjoyed : Banoffee pie (5/5), lemon tart (4/5), hazelnut cake slice (5/5) Sweet buns (4/5) Lavash (4/5) Paneer croissant sandwich (4/5) Iced americano (4/5) Iced cappuccino (5/5) Service by Priyanka Yadav was attentive and courteous. Thank you. Ambience is rather cute. The vibe is perfect for chilling with friends and family or simply a solo outing while one can read or type away on a laptop. Street parking is available.

Recently visited Food : The most amazing and unique pastry I have ever tried is their rose and pistachio pastry . It is so soft and velvety and absolutely delicious. Their fresh fruit pastry and other bakery goods are also nice The white sauce pasta was good … the lamour cold coffee was also good. The peri peri fries were very crispy was flavourful . The lemon ice tea was average … the paneer croissant sandwich is not something I would recommend. Ambience : It is very chic and cute and is suitable for a date or just to chill out with friends . They have indoor and outdoor sitting area .. Hospitality: The staff is very polite and nice Though The service was very slow on the day I visited . Parking : Ample parking space is available . Best to visit during evening ❤️

A good place to spend some time by yourself in the heart of the town. The service and staff is good but the only down side is the limited options of food on their menu for a Cafe. As for the Bakery, they do have a variety of options available. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating option. Go ahead, give them a try!

It was a wonderful experience and the jamming session was great to hear

I had been passing the area at least twice a week but never tried. A complete surprise when I came with my wife. We took lemon honey tea cafe mocha a couple of sandwiches and apple tart and chicken patties. They can beat the best in the town as I often go hunting for good food.The ambience has a distinct continental touch. Just amazing. Chetan and Priyanka also took the role of an understanding host. I recommend strongly for visits who are in Dehra and also those who stay around as a tourist as it will be a memory to cherish.

I have good experience here it's not a cafe it's more of a Bakehouse where will get some amazing baked goods be it muffin, cake , croissant and much more. I have attached some amazing photos ☺️ check it out and enjoy.

Love the ambience! We had a cappuccino and a ginger lemon honey tea. Both of them were good. Good place to hang out for a coffe.

This place owns my heart ❤️ beautiful, simple,not so expensive and great food. I tried Margherita pizza,peach ice tea, Lamour cold coffee and peri peri fries. Everything was amazing. Must Visit this beautiful place. This place looks beautiful in the evening.

Lovey place to enjoy your coffee .The ambience is good and the coffee, awesome. It's a good place. Behaviour of the staff is excellent. Prices are moderate. Ideal place to spend some time over a cup of coffee or snack with friends.
