Review Champaran Meat House - Dhanbad

The food was good. However, it would have tasted better if served steaming hot. Also, they do not serve 1/2 kg Mutton in the earthen pot 😞. For that experience, we need to visit as a bigger group of about 5-8 people.

Taste is good. Some food items are very good, some are very bad. Service is not upto the mark. Overall a good place for non vegetarians.

If you are eager to try any delicious mutton dishes, this place is the perfect heaven for you... Various Mutton items at very affordable prices.. Ambience is not that extraordinary but the food quality totally overcomes it.. A must visit place if you are staying in Dhanbad..

Taste of mutton is totally authentic as famous for. It's totally touching taste of Bihari style mutton curry. It's aromatic as well due to Garam masala . But only thing which i didn't like that garam masla coming in mouth. But overall,4/5 from my side for taste.

Taste was good. But the plate they provided, u can see in my photos was of low grade. Albeit the smell of mutton handi was awesome at the entrance of restaurant, that's why I couldn't stop myself to enter there.

Visited this outlet with friends. Fried Chicken Biryani, Ahuna mutton and Chicken. Taste was good, I won't say it was very different and delicious. Mostly place is crowded and you might have to wait 10-15 minutes to get the table. Outlet doesn't have inverter, if light goes off, you have to eat in darkness. Worth visiting once.

This is a restaurant chain, with outlets across multiple cities (Dhanbad, Bhagalpur, etc.). Famous for the Champaran meat (also known as Ahuna meat - Google it if you do not know about Champaran meat). If you are new to Dhanbad, do not forget to try their Mutton Ahuna. They will directly serve the mutton in Matka if you order 1 kg of mutton. Taste is unique, and goes well with rice/naan/tandoor roti. Rice is my preferred go-to option with mutton ahuna, as also is the tradition in Bihar. Also serves Chicken Ahuna, Biryani(both mutton and chicken), and many other options.

Must try the speciality cooking of mutton and chicken. Serves earthen pot cooked and stainless steel cooked mutton and chicken. Loved it.

Ok ok but not up to the level of meat ! Visit spice affair steel gate Dhanbad for best mutton handi ...costly but satisfactory food quality. Thanks

Best place for a plate of biryani in dhanbad, the place is such a calm and excellent place to hang out with friends. It's biryani was very much out stading just like hydrabadi bawarchi franchise. Only one thing that ruined my experience a bit , is the small piece which they hide inside the rice, which doesn't go with the proportion with amount of rice you get. I specifically asked for a chicken breast and the counter guy told me whichever piece you will ask we will give , and I have passed the instruction to waiter but he gave me some other piece claiming it the same. Everything was good but I am giving 4 star because of your small Chicken piece, I am still hungry after eating a single plate Biryani,so please work on your proportion of size you provide for 170 rupees. Also work on your hygiene of the place, I was about to slip near washbasin because it was incompletely moped and the mop and mopping bucket were still there as someone has left incomplete mopping. And also your plates needs to be cleaned more precisely.
