The momos were very tasty and were freshly made. The atmosphere was nice with good lighting and aesthetics. There was also an option for sitting cross legged or normal chairs.

Nice cozy atmosphere. Relatively fast service. Tasty food and really big portions. Especially burritos and lozania. Good bakery production, especially bread)

We tried Thai curry, hummus pita, burritos, pizza .., all dishes taste delicious and portion size is also good. You can carry your own beer, order delicious food and enjoy at this place. Great vibe, amazing staff and service is fast. By far the best cafe in bhagsunag area.

Amazing cafe with great food and service! Good portion size and prices are similar to other cafés around (all slightly overpriced). Great fresh juices for detox!!🀩 Tried their hash browns which were different from the normal ones we have in cafés- they claim this to be the authentic European styled hash browns. Nevertheless, it tasted good and came in a huge quantity!! Perfect place for brunch, relaxing and chill :D

I would have given this place 6 or more stars if such an option existed! I absolutely love this place: from the delicious variety of food which includes vegan, Israeli, Thai and much more to the relaxed and peaceful ambience, I can never get enough of Chilly beans! The restaurant staff is also extremely friendly. I have never been disappointed with their dishes. I tried their vegan Buddha bowl, vegan breakfast, Thai red curry, steamed and fried momos and healthy breakfast. Everything was finger licking. You must definitely visit this place!

If you are looking for a healthy, tasty breakfast-cum-lunch at a very effective price, do visit this little, yet a place with amazing vibes. The. quantity, quality, and taste of food is beyond comparison with any other big "famous" restaurants we tried in Mcleodganj.

Compliments to the chef! You would not expect to find such carefully prepared food in this area. Compared to other places the cooking here is outstanding, especially for the price. A relaxed atmosphere tops it off.

Chilly Beans Cafe in Upper Bhagsu is a great spot for remote work and dining. The ambient is inviting and calm with good and reliable Wi-Fi, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is tasty and offers a wide variety of healthy choices, including smoothies, juices, salads, soups, thali, momo, and more. It's a great place to stop for a quick juice, read a book or settle in for a productive work session.

I have visited Bhagsu 6 times between 2012-2021 and have spent about 18 months in the town. There are a few good restaurants in town, but Chilly Beans is my favourite. I would have eaten at least 100 meals at Chilly Beans over the years, and I have enjoyed every single one of them. Like the whole of Upper Bhagsu, Chilly Beans is a pretty laid back place, but the staff are also friendly and efficient. The large interior is split in half, with one side having standard tables and chairs, while the other has low tables with cushions to sit on. The menu is the most wide ranging in town and covers cuisines from around the world, in full meals and also snacks. Non-veg dishes are available, but those of us who only eat vegan or veg are very well catered for, with great selections of plant based choices that are delicious. I can't wait to get back to Bhagsu and sit down for a meal at Chilli's.

One of the best cafes I have ever been to. I stayed in bhagsu area for 6 days and inspite of trying many other cafes in thr vicinity, I always turned to this place for atleast one meal a day. Whatever I ordered was a treat in every sense!! Can't emphasize enough on the value for money aspect of this place.

During my stay in Bhagsu I've hopped to different cafes and dhabas throughout the week. Chilly Bean's has topped my list with it's absolutely delicious food and it's humongous quantity of servings. Their Israeli cuisine and Chicken steak recipes are on my list of must-try. Very good experience.

Its a really cozy place and the momos were really good. But the salat which was supposed to be with vegetables was not really vegetables as youd expect. There was no zuccini or eggplang or anything. They had cucumber and tomatoes they count as vegetables so you get a wrong idea of what a "vegetable salat" sounds like. Its just a regular salat. But was tasty.

Well I recently visited mcleodganj. And I went to chilli beans cafe near Bhagshu Nath temple. I tried customisable pizza, nachos and chicken sizzler from menu. While the pizza was good. However, chicken sizzler and veg nachos were average in taste. Both were not properly cooked and all. Not recommend!!! Overall
Food: πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹/5
Service: 😊😊😊😊/5
Ambience: 😊😊😊😊😊/5

I liked Chilli beans because they avoid plastic as much as possible and have moved to metal straws. But their food is not upto the mark. We had French fries and it was half cooked and not crispy at all. I hope they improve upon their menu soon.

Place was okay..typical hippie setting .music was boring .food was average ,given the wide array of cafes and amazing food this was by far my worst .service was poor as well.
I don't recommend this place

The food is tasty and lots of affordable vegan alternatives. We had Vegan breakfast, Fresh up and Iron boost. Also they avoid using plastic straws and use steel ones.

This is a lovely place, one must definitely gobble up here. We stayed at a hostel near this place and were looking for a cool, contemporary and a cosy place near by, then we stepped here. We ordered a sandwich, pizza and a lasagna. I am usually very finicky about the salad but the one they gave me was excellent, it was juicy and effortless to eat. I honestly couldn't stop myself. Sandwich was very mouth watering, so was the pizza and the lasagna. Lasagna for sure was able to satisfy the hunger. Lastly, service was great, polite and warm.

I'd definitely recommend everyone to visit this place. :)
