Review The Choclate Log - Dharamsala

We tried The Chocolate Log for the first time and had a great time. This is the perfect place in Mcleodganj to sit back and enjoy delicious food and drinks served by attentive and courteous staff. The Network, which accommodates The Chocolate Log, has cozy seating space on three levels and a beautiful bar with impeccable cocktails. The live music was undoubtedly the best I've experienced so far! Would definitely visit again!

had a fantastic experience enjoying live music at the restaurant. The ambiance was enhanced by the Rahul who was playing the guitar and the melody of his voice that created a vibrant atmosphere. The selection of songs was excellent, catering to various musical tastes, and the music engaged with the audience, making it a memorable evening. It added a unique dimension to my dining experience, and I look forward to returning for more enjoyable moments with live music.

Perfect Place to Sit, Enjoy Live Music over Weekends and have your delicious BITE of the CAKE and Hot Chocolate! Came here just casually strolling around on the streets of M'Ganj! Really liked the Ambience and Loved the Crockery and Lights! We ordered Hot Chocolate, Carrot Cinnamon Cake, Banana Cake, Double Chocolate Cake! I personally enjoyed everything except Banana Cake, but others liked that as well! Enjoyed our time here with loads of Books and few Games to Play! On Weekdays, the place is bit quiet and not crowdy if one wants to enjoy that atmosphere! On Weekends, place is quite happening with Live Music and Crowd! I recommend trying this place when in M Ganj! Place accepts Cards, UPI and Cash!

I have visited for the first time in Mcleodganj and I never thought that the place will become home to me. But "The Chocolate Log" made it happened. The ambience of the cafe of so soothing and a proper wifi facility is available to make your dream workstation experience,a reality. The staff members, the chef and even the owner is so cool and friendly. I literally recommend everyone to visit "The Chocolate Log" and must try all the yummy dishes especially the "Cilantro Chicken" if you're a non-vegetarian and "Basil Tofu" if you're a vegetarian.🍽️ Thank You @chocolatelogmcleodganj for such a wonderful experience and memorable nights.🤩💃

I got the info for this restaurant from google. It serves good indian food with indian Chinese. Butter chicken and roti is a perfect combination for a winter night. There is 2 section one rooftop another is below that with room heater facilities. People who wants a good indian dishes they must try this ones. They don't accept cards like maximum restaurant in mcloyed which is bit of surprising. Though there is a paytm no in the name of mr. Kamal kumar, still they refused to accept the same. Also they charge rs 10 extraa for mineral water bottle while other charges rs 20 only.

The chocolate log is a very famous bakery in Mcleodganj. Located on jogiwara road. It is run by an old lady who loves to talk.

I have been here a couple of times. This time it was closed unfortunately.

Though it has a wide variety of menu, it is famous for its patisserie menu, beverages and breakfast.

I have tried their chocolate cake, orange cake and lemon cheese pie.

Chocolate cake was quite rich. It just melts in mouth instantly.

Orange cake was the "hatke" item and was also good.

Lemon cheese pie was fine. Ambience is excellent.

Consider it as 3.5 stars.

A rooftop lodge sitting area this place has, its really simple but great view cafe. The place has an excellent variety from north indian to chinese and italian the prices are really affordable. The food is tasty and authentic. The north indian food is really good in taste and the pancake does need an improvement all n all the place is good.

The quaint little cafe, serves delicious soup and hot chocolate! The staff were so courteous, almost treated us like their own family. The food was okay overall, I did not like the pasta alot, but the drinks were made well. The place is situated very close to the main market of Mcleodganj and you can see the hustle bustle of the whole city while spending time here and yet be in your own solitude. ❤️

This place was near our stay and we decided to skip the Zomato rating and let the laziness decide where we eat.
Laziness has its own rewards, choosing the best eatery at MacLeodganj, in this case.

The Chocolate Log is easy to miss place and name is totally misleading. They might serve the best chocolate but it was not available. What was available however was an extended breakfast, Indian and Chinese menu. All done equally well. We ordered from all the three options and were never disappointed. Paratha, chicken omelette, butter chicken, lemon chicken were all tried in our 3 visits to this place. The fact that it still deserves a 5 says highly of this place. Courteous owner and staff does not disappoint you either.
A must visit place if you are in MacLeodganj !!

Homely environment and the lights in this place really brightens your soul in a rainy evening...hot chocolate and tuna sandwich and hash brown are just yum! I went to this place twice. Try their butter chicken, one of the best in my list and to complete ur dinner go for carrot cake or death by chocolate...you wont be able to resist a second visit !!

On our visit to Mcleodganj, it was a rainy evening when we visited this place.. The place was lit beautifully and the staff was very much friendly.

We had hot manchow soup and some freshly baked cake.
The hot coffee served here is very satisfying. The carrot cake is a must try here

Nice cute place which is open till about midnight and serves some really nice food. Tried our hands on their butter chicken and dal. The chicken completely stood out, was soft and almost melted in the mouth. Loved the taste!!
We had their vegan chocolate cake which is perfect if you prefer less sweet bakery items. The Russian salad had lots of mayo which didn't appeal to my taste buds. The Parantha was good though.
