Review Astoria Veg - Dindigul

We went for lunch, had South meals and North meals. No difference other than two chapatis provided in North meals. Also the rule of meals remains the same here as well, unlimited main and side dish. Also just a heads-up if you're planning to go for dinner try reaching it by 7-7:30 as by 8-9 you won't get a place to sit. Sorry I didn't click pics .

My preferred spot for vegetarian delights in Kodaikanal! A must-visit every trip. The food consistently boasts top-notch quality—never a disappointment. Clean, well-equipped, and the staff is exceptionally helpful. I've revisited multiple times without a single bad experience. The extensive menu caters perfectly to all vegetarian cravings. A reliable gem for plant-based food enthusiasts!

The place we just entered randomly, looks like the best food we ever had all over Kodaikanal. The food was too good with chutney and sambar. Location also good. As it is famous you will face little bit rush inside. First find a seat for yourself than order. It's full vegetarian restaurant. Nice experience.

the service was nice, though the thali I'm sharing(special meal=176 something₹) didn't have that much of the taste, still I liked the vibe. It's very near to the bus stand and has a lot of space. staff knows a little bit of hindi and English, so the orders were easy to understand.

I recently dined at Astoria restaurant and I was thoroughly impressed by the dining experience at this wonderful vegetarian restaurant. From start to finish, the meal was a delightful journey for the taste buds. The restaurant's ambiance is both charming and comfortable. The warm lighting and tasteful decor create a welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place for a cozy dinner or a special celebration.

I recently dined at Astoria Veg Restaurant, and I'd like to share my experience. Please note that my review pertains exclusively to the restaurant itself, excluding any opinions about hotel rooms. We opted for lunch at Astoria Veg Restaurant, and I must say it was a satisfying experience. The highlight was their unlimited meal option priced under 180 rupees per person. Given this price range, the value offered was exceptional. It's a fantastic deal for those seeking a budget-friendly yet fulfilling dining experience. What impressed me was the prompt service. Our food arrived swiftly, ensuring we didn't have to wait too long to indulge in our meal. The quality of the food was commendable, especially considering the reasonable price point. The cuisine leaned towards South Indian flavors, offering a taste of traditional dishes. It's worth noting that the popularity of Astoria Veg Restaurant was evident from the crowd. The place was bustling with patrons, a testament to its reputation in the local culinary scene. In conclusion, if you're looking for a pocket-friendly restaurant with a quick service, delicious South Indian cuisine, and a great deal on an unlimited meal, Astoria Veg Restaurant is an excellent choice. It offers good value for money without compromising on taste and service.

Its undoubtedly the best veg restaurant in the Kodaikanal town. The food served here is tasty and delicious. The hotel will be always full and hence will need to wait sometime for getting the table. Parking is a big concern here as there is no dedicated car parking for the restaurant. The wallet parking on the roadside is the only option and needs good skill for parking in this area. Highly recommended for a family dine in resaturant experience

The best in the business... Had an Authentic breakfast at this place.. Very Healthy n Hygiene maintained.. The food was tasty and delicious.. I recommend to have paper dosa, Rava dosa.. the price was decent as per the quantity and quality.. This place is a bit rushed as the demand is high.. Waiting time is like 10 to 15 min.. Beside this place you will find other shop for chocolate oil and spices.. Overall 10/10...

Astoria is the best vegetarian food restaurant option at Kodaikanal. Although there is a rush , it's worth waiting a little bit for an empty table for what they have on offer. Shop people help to get seats quickly.. Car Parking is available some meters away at a private ground.

One of the oldest restaurants in Kodaikanal, 35 years and running. Ghee roast dosa was absolutely lip smacking, must try. Service was hovering between good to great. Hygienic place, easily accessible.

Had a great experience at Kodaikanal's top vegetarian restaurant. The food was delicious, and they made sure everything was really clean. The people who worked there were super nice and helpful. Just a heads up, though – finding parking might be a bit hard. If you're looking for yummy food, a clean place, and friendly service, you should definitely give this restaurant in Kodaikanal a try. It's worth it for the tasty food.
