Went in and got burgers and wraps for a change. The wraps and the sauce used in it is amazing. Not much else to say about it. It's chicking.

Chicking's first store in kochi, their chicken is still juicy and tasty, I personally prefer their fried chicken over KFC. Pricing is reasonable as per fast food standards. Parking is not available.

Newly renovated CHICK KING gives a great ambiance and neatly arranged which showing its class . Ordered 4 pcs chicken 🍗 , Two buns and Frys item was not filling at one round and we ordered again for a second round. The Fried Chicken was ok , but it doesn’t come to taste what we expected , The frys was less in quantity and they are serving ketchup & it was in plastic bottle ( not packed one ) Bun was smooth and tasty , mayonnaise tastes better . Staff was so friendly and cooperative , best service given to the customers. 5 🌟Neat & Clean .

There have the place to play for children's for sometimes. So we ( father and mom )get some relaxation to talk a while. And good service and chicken is also good ...parking I didn't notice , roads are on work in progress.

Best fired chicken in town.Tastey food and good service. A small children play area available. Good seating capacity. Difficult to find parkin area. Underground parking area only accommodate only 2 or 3 cars only.

One of fine chicking outlet in town. Always give great experience. Ambiance and atmosphere is good. Staff was very friendly and always ready to serve. Food quality was finger licking good. Food was always fresh and authentic chicking taste. Good to go with family and friends, aslo have children play area.

Good option for Fried chicken. Lot of options are also available. Small children play area available. Car parking is very less, only 3 or 4 car parking available for whole buildings.

Food was really testy but after ordering its taking long time to prepare and get to us.

I'm ordered 4 Rapid Booster,medium chick pop and one mionise.<br/>But I didn't get the mionise with the packing.And the taste is not that much good.

If you order multiple items they will always miss some of the products. This happened to me on multiple occasions repeatedly. I once ordered a big bucket of chicken and what I got in return was 2 pieces of chicken with cold fries of which half was missing while whoever ordered that got a whole bucket of chicken intended for a group of 6 people. So disappointed. Chicking has repeatedly disappointed me. Would not recommend anyone to order from here.

i just ordered a M2 meal from chicking, goddamn it tasted ridicoulous , i mean the burger has no taste of a burger and it was put up like chef was in a hurry to go home , the fried chicken piece 🙏🏾 my neighbour has fat chicken than yours 🙏🏾

I love chicken , but am not that fan of very crispy fried chicken. I was tooo hungry after my work and opted the MG outlet since it's just 2 mins away from ma work place. I went with my colleagues there. The place is good but the service part is very lagging . They take a lot of time in attending and serving the dishes. Other than that the food part is fine.

We ordered from chicking after a long time,ordered 6 pieces broasted chicken,burger and chicken pops.it was a very bad experience.The chicken tasted old,had burnt colour under the crust.It was very dry,rubbery n hard with the raw masala uncooked in the big pieces.Burger had just one piece of a small dry chicken strip and a slice of lettuce,this is their so called burger.Will never order from them again.This is in sharp contrast to the food we had eaten from there 3 years back which was actually good...I m surprised how the owner is unaware of their food quality n despite of all these reviews, could afford to loose the goodwill of their brand once which they had...

Chicking always offers good food at comparatively lesser than KFC, the last time I visited Chicking in MG road ernakulam it was a mixed experience. I ordered a cup of Seven Up first but tasted like Soda.

If there is a rating less than 1, I would have appreciated that. I have never had such a bad experience in my life. First of all, it took around 20 minutes to get a bucket of chicken after we ordered. The fries tasted of old oil, the burger and popcorn was cold. Water was not even served. And the air-condition was not working until 15 minutes after we arrived. And when I went to pay the bill near to the counter, I could smell a stingy smell. And finally I decided to write this review when my stomach got upset and I had to write this. Kindly keep this in mind when thinking about going to Chick King, MG Road

good food , but horrible customer service<br/>While making calls for delivery they always keep claiming that the menu has been updated and that the menu which we got with us even a week ago is ancient.<br/>They then try to coerce us to buy some expensive meal and they speak in a rather unpleasant tone without offering any assistance when you order

Very very disappointed with the service. Ordered food for delivery at 1pm and the food was delivered at 3.30pm. Made at least ten calls and they kept saying the delivery boy is in front of my gate. Will never order from this place ever. Lesson learned.

Quantity is too less for the price.... And now they have tax over it. <br/>The old quality is not there and the rate is high. Only good thing is that there is a play area for kids and the ambience is good.

The one place that revolutionised the way that we malayalees thought of dining. <br/><br/>I remember a time when Chic King was the talk of the talk and everyone loved their chicken. Their Zinger supreme were to die for !!<br/><br/>Times have changed now and with the advent of many new restaurants, Chic King has come down the favorites list. However, I continue to enjoy a sandwich or bucket from time to time. <br/><br/>To me, Chic King will always be better than KFC (at least in Cochin).

The food was dry and lacked taste....and the packing for the take-away order was below average.The service was good but the order took a lot of time.

Some yrs back I was quite impressed with their chicken recipe. Recently when I tried their chicken ... it did not have the same magic... I visited this place again and I felt the taste is unpredictable... Pricey for the quantity and their service is just about ok.

This outlet of Chick King was not impressive. The service was slow. And the food we ordered wasn't available. We were informed of the same also after a delay and the food we ordered instead of that also came late. The staff kept mixing up the orders and wasn't very welcoming either. Not very with thus place. The food was just average.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE<br/>We happened to place an order in my road branch. While ordering we told them we need in 45mins.Otherwise we can't place order as v r short of time. At 55 mins we called & cancelled the order. Still they brought the order 1/2 hour after that. The people from chick king started to. call from different no.s and told us you should take otherwise they will cut the money from delivery boys salery. They kept on calling from so many numbers. Which is an act irresssitible calling to female customers from different numbers saying the same thing. To avoid them calling we had to take the order. <br/>Would not recommend chicking to anyone. We won't table it from here anymore!!

One of the worst outlets of the chain. Less quantity. Dirty broken plates.<br/><br/>We ordered a variety of dishes. There came really late and a few of them were cold.<br/><br/>Most dishes tasted bland, no seasoning. French fries were all cold when they came in.<br/><br/>The only thing good was the burger.

The worst of all chicking outlets in India. I ve visited this mg road chicking outlet several times. The content of the food is very less here compared to other chicking outlets. I have already complained about this today and I saw a lady returning her order back pointing the same issue I said.

Cochin's own brand of fried chicken.... Often called as cochin's KFC.... Has a number r of outlets in the city. Nothing fancy, it has all types of fried chickens n burgers. I liked it's tuna sandwich which was a regular whenever I was there... Nowadays, quality has gone a bit down but the fried chicken is good. A savior in late moments of hunger.

My family's go to place for fast food chicken. My dad is their biggest fan and therefore Chickking replaced KFC in our lives. It's atleast 2 Saturdays / Sundays in a month kinda dinner with a couple of drinks for me while watching football. I usually order in but I also like their restaurant, which has a playpen for kids.<br/>Other than fried chicken, try their flame grilled chicken with tortillas and garlic sauce which is much better than their usual southern fried stuff.

Chicking It's My choice... I like Chicking Foodies Like Burger's Strip's French Fries Everything. And the Delivery Also Good. But One problem Still Parking Area Tooo Bad...

I would say its an OK place as noted by other foodies. Its not bad but its not WOW memorable as well. If i am not mistaken this is an international franchise, if so considering this then i would say they need to improve overall. just dont compare to the best fried chicken in town :)

The grilled chicken used to be quite nice but not so much anymore. Before the grilled chicken was available, I used to order the fried chicken and it was sometimes really good and most of the Times just about acceptable.<br/><br/>Edit:<br/>The grilled chicken is nice again.

My wife (then girlfriend) had her office in the same building as this, so used to wait here with snacks till she used to get done with work and come. Sweet memories. Food is normal like in every other outlet of theirs.

Located opposite to the maharajs college ground!! No issues getting here.. A neatly maintained place ..the only problem u'd face is parking ur vehicle!! A fine place to dine out with kids..amply equipped with toys in a setup playground is sure to engage kids!! The poor man's KFC. Been visiting this place since childhood before all the international places set for in Cochin. Nothing exceptional, but well located, status open till 11:30ish and does home delivery. Chicking isn't my first choice but it is still a guilty pleasure when I want to gorge on junk food.

Not bad and not good... It comes under the category which doesn't exist in my categories... Had chicken burger, pops, wings and fries, all are OK only... If there is no McD, no KFC then this place can satisfy somehow...

Don't have a happy dining experience to share. Really not happy with the quality of the food. Being regulars at Mc D, there's a tendency for comparison. Just average or even below....

If you are trying to clone a KFC experience, this place would disappoint you. The menu is overpriced for the food that they serve and the service TAT. Only breather is the courteous staffs and the air conditioning ! Good with all Chicking across Cochin

Very much inspired from KFC. However when it comes to the taste, trust me when I say this no way close to how the chicken in KFC tastes. The service take too long and one only gets full when he or she pays the bill. Their food won't make you feel full that's for sure.

Chicking started of as Cochins version of KFC... Hoping to build up a reputation before the big guns came out. When we were kids this was the place to get good fried chicken..... Things have changed since then, they've grown bigger ( as in they are in multiple countries now) .... And chicking has a brand following that started off right here. It's worth visiting and they have their own style. Proud of these humble beginnings and where they have reached. <br/><br/>The rating would be for general quality ( since it's a fast food with limited service, it can't be too high in my opinion)<br/><br/>Worth a try for those that are done with kfc and other fried chicken outlets.

Have visited the outlet umpteen times right from my childhood. Since then , i used to feel the same great taste of the chicken all throughout. The smell which greets me is still fresh in my mind. Its in my list of restaurants to visit whenever I am in EKM.<br/><br/>Cheers,<br/>Arvind Soju

When here for a treat from my best friend. This place looks quite similar to how KFC looks. First time when i had from here i didn't like the burger i think they put mustard sauce in my burger. But i went here second time and had the Royal crunchy burger  i told them not to have put the mustard sauce ans this time the burger tasted really good. And the specialty of the chicking is that they removes the chicken skin before they cook it which doesn't happens in KFC. Overall i like the place and the food. Give it a try i liked it. :)

Having been to Kerala and being a big follower of KFC, I thought I would give Chicking a try. Their restaurants are pretty much similar to the many other quick service restaurants. I had the Chef's Special Royal Crunchy Burger. Not amazing, just ok. Other items are also not standout. Overall, I would say not my choice for fried chicken..

lack of hygiene and poor service has killed the memories attached to this place. It used to be a good fast food joint back in early 2000's and most of my college day evenings were spent at their outlets for a quick grub and now this place is half the place it used to be ...very poor service

This place is with lots of memories,as this was the place I being the most for fried chicken but till the time KFC nd all came I was done with the whole thing with fried chicken.<br/>This place is small place with decent ambience.the menu carries things like fried chicken,burgers nd all. The taste was good before but the quality hve gone down drastically,it taste more of oil nd less of the fried chicken ,the fries are not fresh nd Crispy. <br/>NOT GREAT CAN DO MUCH BETTER.<br/>

Pathetic service... Ordered on a day (today) when it was raining. My problem is not that the food was cold.. My problem is that the fried chicken was soaking, the French fries were soaking wet n I got 2 teaspoon full of curry that they charged me an extra 20 rs for. Everything was cold... It rains a lot in Cochin..so shouldn't the management take extra precaution n deliver edible stuff. Never Ever will I order from here again...

Guess this was the first of those new generation outlets that started serving Burgers and French fries to families in Kerala in the early 2000s. I have fond memories of dragging my parents for dinner at Chic King and making them try Burgers and Fries which we had only seen in Cartoons and English movies. The service has deteriorated in comparison to the olden days and the outlet has lost its charm. A bit more of enthusiasm and energy from the staff's side can do wonders for the outlet. The food taste is as standard as ever across all Chick Kind outlets, so really cant comment on it.

Reasonable prices when compared to KFC. Thats all
