Review Brown's Restaurant - Ernakulam

This was our first trip to Kerala and a friend recommended the place for lunch. the food was very good and served good. it was a pretty good experience for the first timer..

One of the finest dining experience.The ambience and interiors are excellent.The Owner and the staff are very cordial.The food items are really tasty.The Hotel is always busy even on Sundays.Staffs are always busy in attending customers.Expected waiting time is around 20 minutes. We had Meals and fish fry.It was delicious.

I've been here with my friends and all by myself. Both experiences were delightful. The taste, portion size and service is really good.

Located in a prime location of kochi and clearly visible as it is like an attraction Even from the inside aesthetically it's quite good and well maintained also looks clean and hygienic I wasn't in a mood to eat much so i ordered chicken noodles and chicken schezwan noodles Both were really good to taste wit adequate quantity to fill the tummy with many slices of chicken all well cooked I loved this restaurant but the rates here is quiet high tho The price should have been a bit less but other than than you can go for it

We tried only regional cuisine in this restaurant. Meals, prawn fry and fish fries was palatable. If someone is nearby the restaurant I will recommend them to try here. Ambience - 4/5 Serving time - 4/5, portion size - 5/5

I've been dining at Brown's for the past 9yrs. The taste is commendable but for the portion part it's low in quantity. When we compare the rates for the order we give it's costly but this can be compensated with adequate quantity. Rest everything is absolutely fine and cool.... All the best for their tremendous growth.

Went to Browns for a Sunday lunch after going to Seemati. It is right across the road , so easy to go. We ordered porotta and beef curry, chicken biriyani, and vegetarian meals. The food was really good - very tasty, hot food and good quantity. Nice ambience, quite spacious inside and service was exceptionally good. Would definitely recommend.

The quality and the taste of the food is up to the standards..I like the ambiance and cleanliness of the resturant and also the employees are very friendly and cooperative..About the pricing i feel little bit higher and have less parking slots. Rest of the is good

Clean neat and good ambience. Food prices are costly. Food is OK. The restaurant was empty even while I came in and till I left.

Best choice if u are at heart of the city, well managed restaurant Brilliant crowd management and service, excellent sea foods, Reasonably priced. Its more of a hangout spot with friends more than that of a hotel.. Just a single suggestion make an offer of the day for a dish half the regular price.

Today I bought a Chilly Fish & Chapati. Quantity was sufficient. Even though the price seems a bit high for the Fish (as much as Rs. 270/- for one), but it can be excusable when it's compared with the present market price of Fish. My complaint is not at that side but at the quality side. As I started having it (the Fish piece), no sooner did I touch it on my tongue than I spat it out. The taste was so unpleasant and horrible that I felt heavy nausea. To confirm that I shared it with my friend and he also said the same and doubted that the outer skin of the Fish was not removed and that might be the reason. This was the first experience for me as I have been having food from Brown's for many years.

Last night ordered two plates dragon chicken 🐔 from this restaurant. They charged 250/plate .Total I payed 573 including tax.<br/>If u see the quantity u will cry,I forgot to take pictures. <br/>One kg full meat chicken will cost around 170rs<br/>I didn't get 1/2 kg chicken for 500.<br/> Taste is good but for quantity I am very much disappointed. <br/>

Chinese chopsuey was full of thickening corn flour & felt like I was eating glue. Not a single piece of chicken or meat in non-veg chopsuey.

I've had better porotta in thattu kadas. good quantity is unbearable. i was supposed to get 1 curry free when i buy 2 of the same curry and I think they just divided 1curry into 2 packets and gave instead of 2 full curries. super odi. quantity sucks I repeat QUANTITY SUCKS.<br/>

Very disappointed with the food of this restaurant. The restuarant has places itself in the gold section so as to get the customers. The food quality is very very poor and substandard. Packages very poorly for such high rates and during pandemic times. Being in gold, one dish is free but the restuarant has factored it in by making the second dish small and again very poorly cooked.! Please avoid this restaurant if you can especially during this pandemic time !<br/>

Since it is the main restaurant that has been listed in gold facility ,i have ordered chicken biriyani and fish fry from here . The portion was good but it was not up to the mark.. the rice was not fully cooked and the fish fry was not up to the price. My first experience - The food was delicious and amazing and appealing.... The butter chicken is upto the mark I have not tasted such good butter chicken in eranakulam... And the dragon chicken was suprbb and spicy...<br/> Keep it up...<br/><br/>My second experience - the quantity and quality was lost, and dragon chicken had just 6 thin strips like chicken, butter chicken was like so less and I don't care about the quantity but u shud hv maintained the quality.... Browns I have lost it for u again... Please take this into consideration... N have value for our money too...

I'm attaching a picture of what I got in the name of Neymeen Fry(just one piece). And does anyone think it's worth 280/-. Because that's what I got. It was a wasted effort. Tell me, would you accept it personally?
