Rooms have an ethnic look. The location is excellent, right in the heart of things. The service is excellent. The host doubles up as an excellent guide. For those who know him, Yesudas' ancestral home is next to this one.

5 star because this was a monument and the uncle there was very kind to us and for the fact that whenever we exited we would see tourists taking pictures in front of our gate.

Vasco House in Fort Kochi is a must-visit for anyone interested in history and architecture. The house is named after Vasco da Gama, the famous Portuguese explorer who discovered the sea route to India. This beautifully preserved building is not only one of the oldest Portuguese houses in India, but also served as a filming location for the Malayalam movie Big B. Amazing place to stay, I totally love it here. I stayed here for 4 days and it was lovely. The location is great, so many amazing places nearby to eat and roam around.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay here. The owner George was unbelievably helpful and a super host. The room we stayed in was mind blowing, the two double beds were fab and we were able to watch all of the new years build up on the street outside. The house has been used in the film Big B, expect slot of locals taking pictures of the building outside.

This place is pretty amazing. The building is more than 500 years old and there's a lot of history attached to this. Vasco Da Gama died in this house. Lots of movies have been shot as well. The crowd clicking pics outside the house everyday can confirm that for you. This place is hosted by George Santosh, an amazing person who takes care of everything that happens there
