Review Chick Bake - Ernakulam

Delighted by the dining experience at Ceylon Bake House. The Dragon Alfam with Kerala poratta delivered exceptionally tender, soft, and juicy chicken. Despite the high price, the combination of great food and a pleasing ambiance makes it a recommended choice for those seeking a satisfying meal.

Never knew this was this beautiful 🔥 Really loved their interior lighting and all. A perfect place for family, friends and if you are going on a date. Tried their chocolate ice-cream and was super tasty. If your are somewhere near kochi and marine drive, should definitely have a try.

Very delightful experience. Used to go there 35 years back. It was nostalgia to taste their old chilly chicken which you will get nowhere in the world. Pathiri, egg curry, idiappams and parottas were really very good. Paal Kappa meen was out of the world

Fish biriyani was tooo good (a bit overpriced..... 300+ and got only 1 peice of fish 😬)... And that spcl falooda 🤤 the different flavour of ice creams ❤ chilli chicken was not that special especially that gravy just disappointed me …. Chicken was ok 👍….. parotta I liked it … it was special for me 😻

I had an excellent breakfast today with a beef curry and poratta. The beef curry was incredibly tasty, and the poratta was both soft and crispy. A delightful combination for a satisfying morning meal! 😋🍽️

This restaurant has the best meat in all of kochin. They source really fresh and best portions. The chicken, the beef, the mutton all really really good. And the taste too. Ceylon biriyani needs no introduction. Try the beef coconut fry which is one of my favourite with Kerala porotta. Must visit place. Side note: do not go to the Ceylon bake house near Marine drive, they are terrible. The one in mg road and the one in Chalikkavattom are the best.

One of the best biriyani I ever tried. The biriyani was exceptional and I think there's no other biriyani in kochi to beat this. They have a very unique flavor, which is not very spicy. Both the chicken and mutton biryani tasted good, both have three pieces and a decent quantity of rice. The mutton were perfectly cooked and all the flavours of the mutton were preserved in the meat. The quantity of the meat was also excellent, there were only very small portion of bone in the meat. The porotta and chilli chicken also tasted very good.

The food is usually good. The Ceylon paratha is a specialty. The service is average. They got the items wrong and we had to wait until they took it back and prepared the right item. The way to the parking lot is too narrow.

We tried lunch at the restaurant. Chicken biryani, pal Kappa and fish, dragon chicken and porotta- loved each of the dishes we tried. Less crowd now a days, but quality and taste of the food is maintained.

Ceylon bake is a wonderful place to have food. It serves authentic Kerala dishes. The biryani here is excellent and for Non Vegetarian this place will be a delight. This hotel is a must visit for Lunch or Dinner.
