Review Charcoal Shack Restaurant - Ernakulam

Guys, finally the day came when I visited this gem of a restaurant. I could always see a Swarm of food and delivery agents at the entrance of this place and naturally assumed it was good. But it exceeded all my expectations. Average interiors but food was awesome. Staff very cordial, particularly the guy named Hassan who suggested what to order and what quantity. I am certainly coming back for more. More than 10 cars cañ be parked easily just behind the restaurant.

We had a chicken and a beef manthi. Felt like very average taste. Chicken is a bit hard and beef also very large piece and not juicy. It was not a good experience for the first visit. Heard shawarma was great, but I couldn't get a chance to try. Accessibility is a bit hard for customers to come with car.

I enjoyed the Jamaican chicken wings, and they were delicious in taste. The restaurant is conveniently located near the Town Hall metro station. Additionally, the mayonnaise they serve is superb. Overall, it's a good place to dine, and the ambiance is pleasant as well.

Nice place to have Mandhi.. usually a crowded restaurant with quality food... Usually takes 15 to 20min delay in serving. You can try this place with friends, family or lover❤️. Aesthetically pleasing due to the presence of golden light n interiors. You have an option to stick your comments on sticky notes too.. Tried their signature Jamaican kuzhimandi. The chicken in this have a special flavor compared to other mandhi chickens. I feel the making of this chicken is the primary difference keeping them ahead of the race. Moreover they offer unlimited mandhi rice. Mandhi rice is ordinary, nothing special. There is ample parking space available behind the hotel.

The food was good and ambience is ok . Not a chilling place but for fooding it is good. Try Jamaican mandhi

Very good restaurant, located near townhall metro and Ernakulam north railway station , Tried their chicken wings(180/-) ,kerala porotta and passionfruit sarbath. Service was also nice .overall it's a night restaurant...

I think this one of the best arabic food spot in kochi. I recommend to try their special jamaican alfam & mandi. Only issue i faced there was the waiting time, i waited almost 30mins to get the food, but still the food & service was amazing

Mandhi is must try and the ambience is very nice . Service also good. I tried the jamaikka mandhi. Overall the restaurant has a high seeting capacity. And also there is a tender pudding it’s also nice. Charcoal shake is the restaurant near town hall metro station. There wide range of mandhi, shawarma etc.

Good food, Very nice ambience, plenty of parking, due to the rush of customers you need to wait for some times to get a chair. And also wait for food after ordering, but not more than 20 minutes. I have visited there more than 20 times and I never feel any disappointments there. A happy customer. But Sometimes due to the customer rush they can't concentrate much on each customers that's the only negative I feel there I think they need some more coordination to handle that much customers.

One of the best Alfaham/grill places in Kochi. Alfaham and Mandi are the signature dishes here. The Alfaham of this place is expensive and hell, still makes up to the mark with quality. The staff are decent as well, for a busy place. Double seats for solo and family seats for groups are available, though due to the rush, I'd prefer you take out or deliver. Parking space is available at the back of the building. The vibe is pretty decent as well.

Ordered Jamaican chicken Mandi last night. The flavour of the Jamaican chicken was so new and fresh. It was a blast of flavours. Really enjoyed!

Unlimited rice is there and rice was tasty but a little hard, not too much. Garlic mayo was exceptional quality. It was thick, creamy and tasty and not like loose liquid available in many places nowadays. The smoke and honey chicken was sweet and had a smoky bbq flavour.

One of the best restaurant in ernakulam. The food was very tasty. Price was little high but worth for the food. The service is slow ( minimum 15 minutes or above) because you can order only after getting a seat. There is always waiting time to get a seat. The staffs are very friendly. Good space to go with friends (if you have some patience).

The coffee culture is still growing. I was happy to see coffee pudding on the menu. Was very mild with coffee flavor so i fixed it with a topping of a packet of Bru. Was very nice and bittersweet after that❤️ … the coffee got a packet too. Normal here to have weak coffee even when i say “strong” 😂 … also the kunafa is still a mystery to me… man was not able to tell me if it was cheese or cream… he said it was just sugar… but i think it was only a language barrier … i dont speak malayalam… there is no shame to say you dont speak English… too many people lie on their CV around here 😂… i liked the place a lot and will probably be back for the Jamaican spice meat or paneer❤️❤️❤️ Jamaican spice in india? I need to see this for myself 🧐🤗😁❤️😂🤗❤️
