Review Churutt Cafe - Ettumanoor

This is a small joint in a very busy street. It's right next to the bus stand. Parking can be a problem during the day. We tried the Churutt special shawarma which is made from Rumali roti instead of khuboos. This is a whole meat shawarma with crispy fries and light mayo. The meat was flavourful and you can taste various spices on it. I personally don't mind a little bit of veggies in my shawarma to cut through all the meat. They give pickled veggies and ketchup as accompaniment. The packing is also great. There's very little space to sit inside the cafe so we preferred to have it take away. Overall I found they were good. Would recommend it. Anyway I feel shawarma is an overrated food in Kerala.

Small and cozy place which serves legit shawarmas. U have the option of goin all meat and that is worth every penny ❤ all the best guys ❤ u made me a regular customer.

Ordered 30+ times from here. Special shawarma is fabulous. Lots of fillings and sauces and no cabbage. It was great when they used to have grilled chicken. The chicken peratt they have instead is a strange one for sure. I order less from here now because of the limited menu options. Please do bring in some new items to freshen up the menu.

The place serves one of the best Shawarma in town, the new mojito is a must try. The service is great, the place looks great after the renovation and the newly added dishes are really esquisite.

At present Its one of the best places to enjoy some good food,at the comfort of your home or otherwise. Their special churuttu is my favourite with a wholesome roll filled with juicy chicken and mayo and much more. I am yet to try the rest but whatever I have had is the best. I extend a special thanks to Roshan for taking up my order from Banglore to be delivered at my home in Kottayam which he did wonderfully .

It's very difficult to find out shop.. And absolutely no parking space. The food was good... chikken Perette which I ordered. I have a lot of experience from trivandrum in chikken perette, but when comes to here the name has no any relation with the original one.. Expect the masala. It's only a grilled chikken with some perette masala in it.. But the chikken piece is large enough and a great value for the money.. The myonice shall be more better.. Overall good value for money

The churutt resembled whole meat shawarma from Al taza...really good and juicy..the rumal roti was a bit chewey though...the tender coconut shake was too sweet..

The wrap was very rich and thickly packed. Its tasty and value for money. A suggestion is about the interiors and the space between which should have been a bit more good.

Churutt special shawarma is the best. must try. Prefer takeaway than dine-in.

Picked up dinner tonight and it was delicious--tasty,food is excellent, prices are reasonable and nice sized portions. small place with great service.

Small space, pathetic ambience. But wonderfull food. Special churuttu is a must try. Cashew nut shake, snikker shake were some next level food.
