Review Chacha Gyan Ka Dhaba - Faridabad

Small shop with a sitting place of 15-20 persons. Serves only non vegetarian food. The taste was 💯 and the price was also economical. They have so much of fan following that their chicken curry was finished by 8 pm on Saturday when most of the restaurants starts having crowd. Very much in demand in faridabad and worth a try for non vegetarians.

It has best food to eat. It has been for than 25 years this dhaba is opened. There is best quality and have large quantity of food but there price is high.

Food is Good But only thing I don’t like is they accept only cash ,no Paytm, Google pay no credit card or debit card or any online payment As our country is the first one in this world using digital technology on transactions and these people don’t accept it They are making good money from their sales without paying any taxes to the country I wonder why government or GST people have not reached to this place

Quality to food is nice and I have been visiting this place from last 9-10 years but they just improve the dine-in place now it's been quite old now and families wouldn't like to visit and sit and eat.

Points to consider: 1# Actually the Name is taken from the Owner's Father, who was Popularly known then (when He was alive) as Chaacha Gyan 2# This shop was opened few years back, but his Son who is running the same under Chacha Gyan name, are making Non -Veg for than 50 yrs now.. since Chacha Gyan's Time.. 3# That time Chacha Gyan himself use to cook at his small shop, but now they are running in a big shop space, Now the dish been made by his Son, who owns a shop 4# Located very near to Phaawddaa Singh Chowk in NIT 1 market 5# Quality of Material especially Mutton is nice 6# I cannot give my view on Mutton Dish as I never tasted the same in his shop ever.. 7# Will update the same once I taste.. 8# Then the Question is why 5 Stars, Answer: it is just an assumption, till the Time I taste.. One of the best place to eat non veg foods, if you want to eat chicken gravy or mutton curry then go for it ,food quality is also very good and price is also not much ie. Mutton curry 280 rs per half plate and chicken curry approx 260 rs per plate.

This place is like haven for non veg lovers. Their each non veg item will give you feeling of food made at home. Full of flavours and spices. Try whatever you want to try either mutton curry, chicken curry, keema kalegi, fish curry. All items are superb. I have been ordering from this place since 10 years and I never felt disappointed with any item.

Good pieces served however taste was miserble.. Quality has definetely gone down .... At a cost of 500 the taste should have been amazing.. Not worth the cost..didnt feel like as if having chicken or mutton. Seems like having a simple curry with no taste..

Good place to eat in faridabad, my personal fav. Is chilli chicken. Gravies are like home made. If you have a plan of dinner reach the restaurant before 9 pm otherwise you will not able to get chicken or mutton curry because it sold out very fast. Mutton and chicken curry are the legacy of this rest. Which is maintained over many years

This is my favorite destination for Keema Kaleji & Tandoori Roties from last 15 years. Mostly I visited here at lunch with my colleagues or friends. The same taste like legacy maintained from over a period.

This is the oldest shop from where i am bringing chicken gravy . One of the best in faridabad where you can buy these chicken . The flavours and the spices in the gravy give it a taste out of the world , one of my favourite places .

Ordered Butter chicken after reading good reviews. It came out to be good. Gravy was tasty and chicken was well cooked. Will try again.<br/><br/>This review is for food only. Packing was not up to the mark, it was in aluminum foil pack,rubber was already out of place when it reached. Somehow gravy didn't came out. Another suggestion is to have your outlet name on packing stuff else how consumer be sure if that's coming from place they ordered.

In Faridabad there are very few dhabha or restaurant who cooked best mutton curry. I only found three places in Faridabad for best mutton curry. <br/>Chacha gyan is one of them, but he is on my second choice . Go and Try. but only thing which I found that is inconsistent. But you like it every time.<br/>

Is there any "Mutton Lover"? Then this is the place which you are looking for. Trust me all mutton items are best over here specially "Tari Wala Mutton". Some items finish early because of huge demands and same happens twice with me :) Takeaway is good option here rather than dining. Ambience is not that much good (hardly matters if u go for takeaway). Overall i'm satisfied with food quality. Keep the Taste Up :)

Place is tiny with sitting for only 10 odd people and their signature dish will be finished by 9 30 pm. We went their around 10 30 and everything was finished and after few days we went again and only chicken masala was available we ordered that it was fine. The gravy was slightly more salty but chicken was nicely cooked and Tandori roti was as usual . Their chicken tari wala is yet to be tried by me which is mighty famous.

Excellent Tari Wala mutton.in a very pocket friendly manner.Real taste of authenticity.Not a very decent place for family but you can always take a take away.The owner is very friendly with an always smiling face.

Excellent food, ambience may not be idol but if you stay nearby then packing is the best option. Now coming to food, it's very good and tasty. I have become a fan of mutton Tari Wali, tried almost 3-4 times yet it tastes the same. A must try place for mutton lovers... Happy eating.

On a Saturday afternoon I jumped on my scooty and rode in the lanes of NIT 1, stopping at Chacha Gyan ka Dhaba - known to serve chicken curry and mutton curry. The place was not much crowded and there was a dullness to the place. I got chicken curry packed. <br/><br/>I had it with the homemade tandoori rotis. The gravy was rich - with more of onions and less of tomato, and loads of garam masala. The chicken was tender. The downside was that the garam masala was over the top and unbearable to me. One could have it on a rare occasion with a roti or two but it's not something one would love to have again and again. <br/><br/>A decent dish overall but nothing great. <br/><br/>

Who would even think that the finest mutton would be available in a place hidden in the lanes of NIT. Chacha gyaan ka dhabha is the place for all true chicken & mutton lovers. I have been in Faridabad for the last 2 years but could never visit it and today it was destiny that brought us together. <br/>To start with Mutton Tari wala, it's the best mutton curry I have ever had in my life. Man!! Everyone should try that. The mutton was tender and juicy. The awesome part was the gravy which was so yummy that you can't control yourself with just a single bowl of it (Yes, the gravy is unlimited). Just keep on asking for hot tandoor rotis and enjoy the world's best Mutton Tari wala along with onions and the green chutney.<br/>You can also try the chicken item also which is equally good. <br/>The best way to enjoy is go over there sit and enjoy the food. <br/>In terms of ambience, i would say it's quite good. If you are looking forward to take away...one of the best place around NIT....the food is marvellous if you compare it to price it's even awesome...but don't go after 8 or 9pm coz the best dishes would be finished by that time jst coz of the wonders that they do with the dishes...simply awesome food...you wouldn't be disappointed by the food they serve....if you are an non vegetarian you should definitely try the mutton they serve...it's fantastic😉😉

This place is ideal for all MEAT lovers. If you love dhaba meat then you must try meat tariwala here & it's really a finger licking mutton which you can club with khasta roti or butter naan. In just 500 bucks two of you can have a real good meat feast here.

Tried this place after 4 years. I used to get non-veg(chicken/mutton curry) from here very frequently earlier. The food used to be very good and authentic punjabi taste. But, the taste and quality is degraded now. I tried it two times recently. But its still better from other places in Faridabad, if you want to have authentic punjabi style non-veg. Mutton curry is a little better than Chicken curry. Try the two dishes(chicken and mutton curry) that are prepared in big boilers. They serve into plates/pack from boilers only. These are the flagship dishes of Chacha Gyan.<br/><br/>Its good for Chadas(Bachelors) as its not a kind of family restraunt/urban dining. You need to take away if you want it for family. Parking you car is also a problem sometimes as its located in a very busy market in Faridabad.<br/><br/>Its surely a place to go if you are a hardcore non-vegetarian staying in/visiting Faridabad.

Ok Everyone I used to be Non Vegetarian A Year back...And I do not want to miss this place as the Butter Chicken And Butter Naan is good offered by this Place.Chicken had flavours and gravy used to be thick.<br/>If I talk About Mutton Kali Mirch,Its better than other kinds of Mutton, may be because I like flavour of black Pepper more and it should be eaten with Laccha Parantha or Plain Parantha.<br/>Ans also in Winters Chacha Gyan Offers Chicken Soup Thats not in the Menu.<br/>And if you are going in a gang of guys then its cool but if you are going with your family then you have to think twice because the area is not hep..Its downside market place in Faridabad.<br/>The tatse scores over the ambience but you guys can take away for your family.
