Spices & Herbs works great as a combination of decent food, ambience and a rooftop vibe that amps up everything. The menu is a standard one, and hence great for large family dinners. Moreover, a few intimate seatings also cater to livelier crowds.
The food is good, with the paneer delicacies being especially worth the money. The staff is courteous as well

In central location near to the government offices. It's in a mediocre shopping area.
Ambience
Good furniture and decor. Nice materials and lighting with good use of natural looking materials. There is a large semi open roof top area. There are two AC area with glass walls. Music is bearable but the usual TV with cricket was there. This is always a distraction for the waiters so we told them RK change the channel. The toilet was clean but completely inaccessible from a wheelchair.
Food
Excellent preparation, quality ingredients and good flavour. We had a paneer dish, some jeera rice and some dal. Apart from the jeera rice being too oily the food was tasty and in good proportions. The best part of the meal was the stuffed mushrooms. This was excellent. The chaas turned out to be more of a lassi but it was well prepared.
Service
From the moment we arrived the staff were excellent. Very kind, polite and attentive. Seeing how Gandhinagar was generally very low class we were expecting less of the place.
As soon as we entered and chose to sit in the rooftop area, we were given the cabin side which was great to give you a little privacy! Quite a romantic setup. We did not want to eat heavy dinner so we opted for trying starters and sizzlers. We ordered the Spices N Herbs Special Paneer Tikka starter which had soft paneer pieces with crispy texture. The way cheese was stuffed between paneer pieces along with the tandoori flavor, I was in love with this dish! The next we tried was Chinese Sizzler - a perfect blend of rice, noodles and paneer chilly served with Chinese cigar. It was yummy and the quantity was enough to suffice 2 people. At the end, we were surprised with a complimentary Paan Shot, which I tasted for the first time and loved it. The staff was very attentive and polite. Wonderful experience! 😊
It's one of the best Restaurants in Gandhinagar. They serve quality food and have well-trained staff. Twice a week they have live music. You can choose to sit inside or at the terrace and enjoy the view. Food quality is just wonderful. The must-try dishes are Mexican Chilly Bean Soups, Punjabi food, Pasta, their soup to dessert meal and Pan Shots.

The place with nice presentation skills and you'll fall for your food more then you'll ever had cravings for it. They make dishes so presentable. And tasty
One of the best north Indian restaurant in Gandhinagar. Food is good and so their service. Ambience is quite amazing. They have sometimes live music too. Amazing right!! I know. If you are in Gandhinagar you should definitely try this.

Tried papad kebab (a unique dish) must say , papad rolled over potato and vegetables mashed... Crispy and tasty kebabs...had pink lady mocktail with tail.
Dal takda from the main course was the best and most tasty thing on the table
Lahori kofta was also good but it was a bit sweet with gravy. If you like sweet gravy dishes u can go for it
Tried cheese garlic naan which was actually stuffed with melting cheese... Very nice to have if you are a cheese lover, and the butter naan were also fresh and crispy to have.
Jeera rice tasted real good with dal tadka
Good place to hang out with friends or if you are looking for a date night dinner 😊😌

🍄 A serendipitous serene place situated just across PDPU and the buzzing education hub at Gandhinagar, Koba, heralded us with a supremely elegant program for our Food Group of 27000 members- Hunger Hop , of Live Music with Romantic songs located on an open section of the top floor of a commercial complex – Swagat Rain Forest.
🍄 Located aptly along the main road with immense greenery and great atmosphere to enjoy a sumptuous meal with family, friends or your sweetheart. The décor is tastefully done with strips of wooden flooring with white pebbles to enhance to the natural feeling while you enjoy a fine dine meal.
🍄 As I reached the place early, the central illumination lighting controlled with a state of the art remote control caught my attention with lovely rainbow of colours being shown to me where the golden shade made our evening glorious with golden memories while our 30 plus odd member team enjoyed live music perhaps after ages as –per the feedback given to me personally.
🍄As we settled down, the service started very promptly with the service of soups.

🍄Rice Coriander – A healthy version of aptly minced rice, coriander and spices to elate our moods and swing our health to the right direction

🍄Papad Kebabs – Resembling a shape of a non veg dish this innovative dish which was totally veg was served with succinct taste and delightful style
🍄Crispy Corn – Scrunchy to the core, sumptuous to each morsel, this dish I personally loved the most
🍄Lahsooni Paneer Tikka – Marinated to subliminal glory with each class of spices immersed graciously, Panner was served in a well barbequed and greatly neatly cooked avatar
🍄While we were made immensely satisfied with starters the team Spices And Herbs again came up with a wonder that surpassed the previous saga

Paneer Rolatini - fresh cottage cheese tikki stuffed and rolled in luscious gravy scenic to the core with a delight of tasteful glory
Bavli Haandi in brown gravy – Done deliciously like a Mexican hot pot, this haandi stole your heart with immense taste and elegant culinary art to devise a spell of taste and grace all through out

🍄Mumbaiya Tawa Biryani with Raita – Done with beautiful taste and exact match of spices with properly cooked each grain of separated rice by a dollop of ghee, this glorious dish gave us a taste of nawabi zayka

Ambience is fanciable, if you want to spent lovely time with your partner, you must go there..taster of food is also good.Staff is very decent , but price is little bit high as we compare to quantity....if price is not attracted to you, must visit once upon a time.
