Review South Cafe - Gandhinagar

I recently visited South Cafe and ordered their idli, which unfortunately was on the pricey side. The overall cost of the food was high. However, I must say that the service I received was excellent. The staff was quick and efficient, ensuring that my order was delivered promptly. The atmosphere in the cafe was pleasant, with a nice vibe and great decor. The friendly nature of the people working there enhanced the overall experience. While the prices may be a bit steep, the quality of service and charming ambiance make South Cafe a worthwhile visit.

Being a foodie and a south Indian lover I love south Indian food and this place serves really good food. Loved their Mysoor Masala dosa along with their sambhar and chatni. We also ordered filter coffee and Medu vada which was again best of the box. I believe it's only the other South Indian restaurant in Gandhinagar and for sure food is up to the mark. A real authentic southern food which make your tongue drool. Their pricing is also very competitive. It's a must visit for south Indian food lover.

Good south indian restaurant. The cooks are from Karnataka so the food really tastes like Bengaluru food. Prices are very high though.

Good south Indian taste...... Quality is good... Best sambhar and coconut chatny i ever had in any South Indian hotel ... Just one thing i didn't like... they use whole Black pepper in menduwada..and ambiance was ok .

I visited with family. We ordered a combo meal having Masala Dosa, Tomato uttapam and cheese Mysore dosa. I experienced the authenticity of South Indian food including Sambhar and various type of chutney they served. Staff was very responsive and so service was upto the mark. (It was Tuesday.) A must visit place if you want to taste authentic south Indian food.

One of the best authentic south good place in gandhinagar with cost effective quality. The quality is very nice and ambience is somuch good. the place is not crowded and enough seating capacity. All the payment options are available. Staff is also good. Parking is also available near by.

You will got pure taste of south indian. Also 2 type of chutney. And the ambiance and sitting arrangements is perfect. Overall we like the restaurant. Staff is also polite and friendly.

A really authentic experience for south Indian food in the north. I have been to south and have had the popular dishes there along with the sambar and chutney and i can confirm the taste is very similar to that of the south which i really loved. Hands down the best place for south indian in Kudasan and Gandhinagar.

Taste of Sambhar, chatni and dosa is awesome here. Sambhar and coconut chatni I loved it here. Have been visiting this place since last 9 years and taste remains same yet. Must visit if you love to eat south indian food.

Simply beautiful place with good food. A nice place to have South Indian food with family. We would love to try other dishes such rice and rasam.
