Personally I like this place very much .. whenever I want to eat kathiyavadi then I come to this place only ... each and every items perfect perfect perfect ..... vadharelo rotlo and odo are the speciality I guess.. 😋👍🏻
Visited on Saturday at this place nd carving for some kathiyavadi food..we ordered dhokli sabji, lasaniya bataka, rajvadi khichdi, kathiyavadi kadhi nd chaas..what we loved most are dhokli ni sabji nd kadhi bcz that both items are curd base so they were tangy..loved all the foods but they laked in terms of hygiene..
Nice restaurant on SG highway. Large space with enough sitting arrangement (Thankfully no waiting). Though Punjabi food is not too good, but kathiawadi is superb. Kadi, Rotla and Bengan Bharta are awsome.

Nice restaurant on Gandhinagar highway. Nice seating area with an option of dhaba style seating arrangement. Chaas is good and refreshing. Punjabi thali is superb. It fulfilled my wish to eat something spicy and filling. On the contrary, kathiawadi thali is not up to the mark. Vegetable dishes are too spicy and kadhi is too sweet. Khichdi is good though. Kathiawadi thali comes with an option of bajra rotala or chapati. Punjabi comes either with chapatti or tandoori roti. Both rotis are served with dollops of ghee, which still lingers on hand and in mouth even after finishing your meal.
4 stars just for dalbatti
I just visit this place to eat dal batati cos they serve a really good taste of dal and batti

Once in a month I do visit this place to eat dal bati, I have tried Punjabi food too but it was not what my taste buds likes.even masala papad was nt good in taste .

Not always do you want to go to a normal high-end restaurant and eat... Yesterday was that day ! In all moods to have Gujarati-Kathiyawadi food..late in the night, driving on the Vaishnodevi Sg road... We spotted this not-so-little dhaba Marutinandan !
So we had the sev-tameta nu shaak, lasaniya bataka, baingan bharta, masala khichdi etc. !
Worth a mention is the seating on the 'khatalas' , which we took an instant fancy for !
One of the yummiest food I've ever had... Which compelled me to write about it ! The garlic naan we called for...was one of the finest which would easily be competition to a big restaurant- so crisp and utterly buttery charred ! The 'rotlo' was just so superb that I can't explain !
Complete with chaash, ghee-gol and tadka type onions..... This meal was like 'Serendipity' in all means ! Do try if you happen to be a fan of Kathiyawadi food with a dhaba Wala desi feel !
Some of these dhabas are the under-dogs of the food industry I feel !!

This is a really nice place to go with your friends or family members and it's on highway. Here I personally like cheese 🧀 Naan. But if you go on Saturday or Sunday then you will not get proper service actually because there is a lot of people around here. You will not be served so good. So, you must only go on working days , i.e., Monday to Friday. You will get nice service on this days. The Garden is also nice scene to enjoy with and also they have some games for children to play......
Overall food is good but in "Masala Papad" what they do I don't know. I notice the prices of all items little increased.
For 4 people around 700 to 1000 rupees will comes.
The Daal Baati at this restaurant was tasty, and the staff provided good service. However, the presence of mosquitos around the table and food was disappointing. With improved hygiene, it could be an even better experience.
It's nice place to arrange any kind of function ..it's has big lawn which can easily cover 500-700 persons ..and now the real thing it's has best authentic traditional cuisine..it's kichadi kadhi is best I ever tasted..in short you definitely try it
