The place has it's own charm since it's not in the city crowd. The food was fantastic, I loved the smokey flavour the vegetables had, apart from that the presentation was amazing as well. There were multiple drink options with some mind blowing combinations. It's also value for money. Would definitely recommend. 👍

The restaurant has great food and excellent services. The ambience is completely mystic and peaceful and makes you feel like you are on a holiday. The staff is very well mannered and good with the customers. Food ordered comes to your table faster than many hotels and their menu and the quality of the food is just mind blowing

Ambiance was and food was delicious. Best place for couple as there were no noise and can spend lot of personal time there. But for food you may have to wait for some time as they take time. The day we went there it was totally vacant only one family was celebrating birthday party so it's look odd otherwise it was fine.

We had Dinner here on my birthday with family, The servers here are just wonderful and have great memories it seems. We sat on table enjoyed the view with our delicious moktail and Dinner. Must try!

Nice place and service by the staff.... If you don't like the mocktail they'll replace it. Ambiance is perfect for a family, corporate and date. For two people the cost would be between 750 to 1200 INR which includes mocktail, starter and main course.

Nice food.. many varieties in menu... ambience is cool....there cafe is also very nice. But cafe is much better in winter because it's open air.. there moctail bar is also wonderful.. over all good place with excellent food

Superb Restaurant. Quantinantal food quality was amazing. Best place for couple who want to spend time with beautiful atmoshpher and delicious food. Price is higher than other hotel but worth it. Delicious sizzlers! The joy doubles when you are with friends. Shamiyana offers an interesting menu with multi-cuisine options. Surprisingly, some dishes are mistaken as far as their origins are concerned but that doesn't effect the taste. Do try!

Exquisite cuisine and place, however not for everyone. Good for a proposal, date or business meeting.<br/><br/>But be aware, some dishes are just fancy names for local Indian dishes. Always ask for details before ordering a dish.

Love their mocktails and platters 💕. Ambience is very calm and peaceful. Must try for couples for a candle light dinner. Overall food is good and provide lots of variety in cuisines. You would definitely love it!

Wanted to go for long drive & have some good food at good ambience hotel which we thought we should get here.<br/><br/>Ambience is ok probably open area would be great but due to humidity one can't prefer.<br/><br/>Service was good , food was ok ok.<br/><br/>We had their halim kebab & sizzler whereas sizzler was average.

There is nothing so good about the food in this restaurant. We ordered mexican sizzler and taccos. Non of them was tasty. I can make more tasty food than their chef. Service is ok ok. Ambience is somewhat good. But when food is not good, nothing else matters. Never going again.

I would not recommend anyone for this place. Thai and Mexican food was pathetic. Its a waste of time, and money. they need to improve in services.

We went to Shamiyana for a date night. After being greeted by a very friendly staff, we were taken to our table. When we generally go out on dates, we're not taken seriously considering we're college students. I expected the same here but it didn't happen at all. We were being given the treatment they were giving any older couple.<br/><br/>We were given the menu and plenty of time to decide, considering their huge menu. Unlike a lot of places we weren't rushed into ordering. The best thing I find about this place is that the wait staff knew the order of courses. Everything we ordered came in a proper sequence and not just all together.<br/><br/>We ended up ordering a Mushroom Parsley soup, Tandoori Momos, and Mexicano Sizzler.<br/><br/>The food was delicious and of good quality and quantity.<br/>Being a Punjabi, I have high standards when it comes to food and it is a little difficult to impress me.<br/>I'm gonna specially comment on the Tandoori Momos. First of all, their momos were served on a table tandoor, the momos were served with Green Chutney and Pickled Onions, Tomatoes, and Capsicum (If you know any Punjabi, you'll Green Chutney and Onions are our weakness.). The wait staff served it to us and then we were left to explore the flavors. The spicy marinade on the momos which was put before they put it on the tandoor, tasted amazing. Not kidding I haven't had anything like that even in Delhi. We literally took fifteen to twenty minutes to eat like three pieces each cause we were enjoying the taste as much as we could.<br/><br/>The only suggestion I have is that they can do with a little more cooling in the restaurant. It gets hot after it starts filling up.

Well, That 2 for the ambiance, the Classy Interior and that's it. It's was worst experience, I am not sure that if the management know about whats on their own menu. Having a Vast menu with the variety of delicious cuisines.<br/><br/>So we ordered TEX-MEX FRIES (I have attached a pic of the menu) By the description they have provided I was pretty much excited about but what they brought was completely different. So obviously I asked the manager about "Is it the same dish we ordered as I can't see a single drop of sauce here" To defend me he replied, " SIR dalwana ho to pehle bolneka" (If you want it you should ask it earlier). <br/><br/>So why did you wrote a description including it? And why didn't you let me know that earlier?<br/><br/>NOTE: So If you need a Paneer dish with paneer in it you have to mention before you order.<br/><br/>Finally, I ordered *PANEER DUM MUSALLAM* thinking at least they can't screw this thing up. Oh Boy, I was so wrong. So when I complained about it to the management they exchanged it just by taking it to the kitchen and bringing back after 10 minutes.  The funny part was they replied "Sir yeh dish esehi hoti h". This dish has to be like this. (-_-)

Have been to this restaurant 2-3 times and has never been an disappointment... They have a great ambiance, great service and great food... We went at the time of halloween so they had a special decor on that occassion which was nice ... The mocktails are good..The enchiladas are perfectly baked and tasty... Overall great experience

Had heard about this place from friends but hubby being bong, rarely do we go to pure veg place. Got a chance to come here for 'kelyan' which is taking bride and her parents for lunch.<br/><br/>The place did not disappoint. Food and service was great and lots of different cuisines. The only disappointment was ravioli was not available. May be next time

Very nice place, interesting ambience, a very nice menu with some unique delicacies and great taste. We loved the starters especially served on a grill on ur table. Overall food quality was quite good. A bit expensive but would love to visit again when on that side of the town.

It's the place for you if you like Mexican Italian over Punjabi food. They do have numerous option to choose from. We were there for dinner. Starter was nice, we had tandoor ka karishma. Though monchow soup was only OK ok.I would like to visit them again to explore more of there menu. They should improve there service part a bit.

The place is at koba circle which is little bit far. We ordered one pizza and pasta, both were delicious and it was enough for 2 persons. Overall good place to eat but at times you feel it is far from ahmedabad city.

Been here several times. Main attractions are Menu with wide range of food types and horror theme they arrange at particular time. You will get message if they have your number in system. So food is good, but price is high. Ambiance is good. Service is not up to the mark. Guess what! I had a piece of metal once in food I ordered. I showed it to a manager and he accept after check in kitchen with chef that it's a piece from mixture machine. He apologise and gave 10% discount. Second thing is sheesha launge they started... Now I will not prefer to go with family there any more.

Sitting in the restaurant right now.<br/>Ordered soups and starters first along with papad. After that we ordered main course. And guess what, papad was the last thing we received. We ordered pasta and few other things. Food came altogether. But, they served us only certain items. The pasta was kept on the table as it is for a long time without being served. We asked them to take it back and warm it again and then serve. It didn't even come back until half n hour

A great place with outstanding setting , it was a very relaxing night ✌🏼. Well i believe they are to diversed and have a great handle on every dish but i found the ravioli pasta to be extremely good . <br/>Other favorites included bbq sauce along with the burger which was great ✌🏼. Awesome interiors, perfect for spending quality time. Vast menu with variety of delicious cuisines. Thukpa (soup), starters mein we tried paneer-e-firdous, cheese & chilli cigar, shicuan wontons were awesome.<br/><br/>Oriental sizzler was mind blowing. Kala gora for dessert, don't go by name. Menu Options r so vast, anyone would surely get confused with choice. Service staff were friendly, overall a great experience

Over priced restaurant with dirty washrooms, with rat dancing and rolling under the tables, with smell shifting from sizzling to burning, with lack of herbs and flavors to the thai curry, with rice half cooked and khichadi like mughalai biryani. Not to mention the lack of atm machine in an over priced restaurant.

Visited with family of 13 people, table was booked in advance. However preparations weren't upto the mark. Ordered Cream of Broccoli & cheddar soup which was lacking with creamy texture and broccoli wasn't blended and crushed properly. Starters ordered weren't served together. For onions & pickle we have to ask and that was delivered after half of meal. Taste of curries were ok, butter roti were also not putted with proper bus and charges were useless for it. Just by making ambience look good won't work if you want to run a restaurant.

Ambience was not bad. There is a ventilation problem. We went on Sunday so the service was slow. Food was good but not a wow factor. Not a much variety of Jain food.

Very good ambience and amazing quality food. Try their nachos and broccoli soup. Their staff is really courteous and food tasted amazing. Must try their stuffed kulchas and cheese cigars.

Before going here I gave a phone call to do some decorations for single table. When I went there the decoration was superb, also the ambience was nice with soothing music. We ordered mock-tail and Spanish food and that was so YUMM!! Service was also on-time. No complaints! A true food lover should surely try this restaurant.

Good amenities with fantastic inferior...I had ordered full panjabi dish and that was delicious...but when I went there second time and I was wished to try something new so I ordered falafel...that made me disappointed...they have verify of mocktails...more over we tasted one of them and it was superb..as the facilities they provided the cost is appropriate.

Today I visited Shamiyana to celebrate my marriage anniversary with my family. But it was disappointing to me about their food service and bogus staff. No one is to ask about waiting. I have to wait for ulmost half hour for menu. The tablespoon was dirty. Service was very slow. After soup we have to wait for another half hour for starters same thing was happened for main course.. Bill.. Even they have forgotten about mukhvaas. High rate.. Poor quality...

The ambience of the restaurant was good. However i didnt liked the presentation of the dish i ordered. I ordered dhungar paneer which was suppose and according to the description should be in red gravy, the dish was made in orange gravy. Secondly i was paying Rs 375/- for a vegetarian dish. I expected good presentation and exceptional good in taste which i did not get in paneer dish. The presentation was pathetic. The dish was served on sizzler plate in aluminium take away container ( please refer the pic ) <br/>This was my first time visiting the restaurant and hopefully last one.

We 9 people were standing but no one cared to ask. Lastly asked one guy and he was arranging the table, and after 5-7 mins, again asked about the arrangement. The captain then replied you have to wait outside. Is this service or hospitality we accept from renown restaurant! Card payment was also in technical error. Disappointed and left the place! Really surprised as I found first time African food at Ahmedabad Gandhinagar restaurant….<br/><br/>Two separate arrangement for foodies. One is main restaurant & another part is Shisha Lounge (Not able to visit Shisha Lounge). <br/><br/>Food is not too spicy but lip smacking taste make you happy & enjoying the surrounding space<br/>. Try the recipes mark in menu with Chef special. African Indonesian recipes to try as it may rarely available at other restaurants. <br/><br/>Only one thing I am surprised is reserved space at restaurant where tables were available for more than two hours and other guests were waiting in ques for longer. Management should work out on this part.<br/> Reserved space should be reconfirm from the guest or it should be reserved for proposed time slot...Due to over reservation, almost 25 people were waiting outside for more than 2 hours. Ambience and service was good. Food was good but nothing extra ordinary.price is quiet high compare to food . Overall experience was good but nothing extra ordinary.

We literally traveled over 20km to come to this place only to be treated with hostility. They did not even serve water until I asked them nearly 5-6 times. They kept messing up the order and treated us demeaningly when we pointed out their errors. The place has no air circulation and we kept asking them to turn up the Air conditioner to which they said it was already on. We had to cancel a part of the order because they ended up taking too much time. The food was satisfactory but it did nothing to quench the fire that the service staff lit in our stomachs with their crude and demeaning behavior.

Not a happy review. Ambience makes you feel comfortable and menu feels wow with detailed description of food items. Now things take u turn where chef inside looks on a speed troll possibly due to sunday and hence served us with spicy north indian vegetable, even though we mentioned less spicy due to kids along with family. As a good citizen we ordered for new paneer vegetable "less spicy" and boom again served extreme spicy. Now my furious wife wish to take out some paneers from it so that she fill kids stomach. Wow three paneer cubes in entire bowl. Upon this we complain the guy and he got furious for unknown reason and adding some murr murr sound & bring us the revise bill cancelling the paneer vegetable. <br/><br/>Why this review is important because people expectation go twinkle twinkle little star.<br/><br/>My transparent reviews:<br/>- Food taste good.<br/>- Ambience is ok and you cant try to make thing look like fine dine by showing hanging cctv open wires and TV cables.<br/>- Waiters not upto mark and dont come to clean table, water to be asked for again & again.<br/>- Spicy food subject to chef mood i suppose.<br/>- End result less quantity higher price point, this feeling you get when you start for your home.<br/><br/>Just owner personal attention with proper training of staff & chef, served with good quantity food serving will fill customer stomach and feel satisfied vis-a-vis the amount they pay.

Well I have been to this restaurant so often. Overall we had very good experience. In Gandhinagar hukka parlour are very rare. This place severs the purpose of both dinning & hukka. We were more than 20 people so we ordered different cuisine almost all dishes were upto the mark. Mexican, Italian, Lebanese taste mouthwatering.Mocktails are must try. Delicious flavour . Service was slow at a time<br/>. Even hukka service was slow. Food presentation was good in every dishes. Interior is quite interesting in hukka section. Some dishes are high rated compare to Quantity. But for multi cuisine lovers this restaurant is good place to hang out.

The restaurant I heard a lot about, but didn't get chance to visit yet. The ambience and menu is something amazing here. If you want some peaceful place to be around this is the one. The service is ok. And half of the menu items they don't have! 😋😂 But overall a good place for good time with good people. ✌

Nonsense, they don't even care to clean table before allotting, no table cloth, for a restaurant with starters at 450/- u expect waiters to be well behaved and not rub feet while walking, cocktail comes after dinner is completed and when told to reject the staff is unapologetic. Dirty glasses. Totally regret going there. BULLSHIT. Keeping a costly menu doesn't make u classy. Needed to replace dishes 2 times due to lack of cleanliness, cocktail glass was also whole wet with juice. Stupid place srsly. They brought the glasses after we were half way through the dinner and still no water in it. Also once they brought our food just left it there making us to serve ourselves. When you pay at a restaurant u pay for service more than food which lacks completely at this place. Even when the waiter gave us glasses his wet dirty fingers were all the way inside, they srsly need to enrol real trained waiters instead of rickshaw valas.

A great restaurant is not only about food and ambiance but also hospitality. Please learn to maintain the minimum decency!We went to their extended hookah lounge called El Retiro. Okay so first we went to the terrace as I heard it's pleasant but to my surprise though there were two couches empty just because they were for a bigger group we were not allowed there . Who does that ? I understand this if there's a crowd waiting but this was unreasonable. <br/>Then we move on to the garden area , then when I was just about to order food they tell me that without hookah they won't serve food. Like really ? 900 was the minimum for a hookah and I'm bound to order one. The tone of waiter was very demeaning! <br/><br/>Also other than teaching your staff how to behave with minimal decency please keep in mind even the best hookah lounges have non smoking zones where people who have an issue with the smell of smoke can chill and eat in peace and you refuse to serve food and price your hookah at such a high rate ! <br/>NOT RECOMMENDED.The very basic level of hospitality is missing.

Very few restaurants in gadhinagar are good and Shamiyana is one of them, we order Punjabi sabzi, baked macroni with pineapple, pizza and some mocktails. So on a Sunday eve we except to be a bit more work load of any restaurant's stuff and as expected order where taken late and water too serve a bit late but never mind coming on food the taste of all sabzi were nice but Marconi was not upto the mark, mocktails where nice but best one was in red bull base.

Bill no. 7  , dt. 21 March 2017 , table 3 <br/><br/>Today we returned to the restaurant considering our previous excellent food experience here ,  pre renovation. <br/>With a better lit ambience I expected a better experience , tonite<br/><br/>We ordered dungar lal paneer  ++++ .   This was stale , along with onions etc served. <br/>Upon intimation ,the star trek captain , replaced it with panner appki pasand , of course after a hungry wait. <br/><br/>This too was stale ...stinky bitter taste ......the panner to be specific ....we simply left the veggie without any further complaint. <br/><br/>Upon bill submission , the star trek captain was surprised to see the veggie as it is  &  went on & on , on how panner is cooked. <br/>We had to explain him that , we are veggies & are professional panner  eaters !! <br/><br/>Paid the complete bill without a  hitch as this would always caution me for such experiences. <br/><br/>So , for now , this place is perfect for a post apocalyptic situation , wherein there may be no food available elsewhere .<br/><br/>For me its a X .

Absolutely worth it.<br/>The Management is great, but they do take some time if you've ordered baked dishes.<br/>The food, according to me, this place offers the most variety in vegetarian food one can get in this city. It has food from cuisines all over the world, to me it was a surprise they had Greek and even Spanish food (P.S do try their falafel and hummus, its exquisite)<br/>The chef's specials are very creative and inventive dishes, do try them (paneer lasagna was amazing)<br/>This is a  must go place if you are looking for a great dining experience!

We went it yesterday night with a lot of expectations....<br/><br/>Here is my review comments<br/>- waiting: the guys who was taking the waiting asked us to wait for 15 mins, after waiting for about 45 minutes, I was asked to wait for another 20 mins...same issue was been faced by many...it was a frustrating experience<br/>- ambience: very average, no exhaust system<br/>- service: to me, they have all trainees ...couldn't find any professional...even captain had no clues of what they have in menu<br/>- food: it was very average food having unnecessary premium price<br/><br/>Overall: after a drive of 30 kms, it has poor experience...unnecessary hyped place...worst restaurant

My last experience that service was very poor.last night we sat one hour but we couldn't get the food then after we got it.please do something about your service day by day it's become very bad.

Very bad services. I think after opening shisha bar they are not interested in a la carte. Pathetic service. Not refer anyone. They are not concern about guest at all.

The place is situated far away from the city..! But not allow people without their id cards. There is no such ambiance, but it is cute and small arena which is open and cool..! Food is good in taste but served in small quantity which doesn't match with the price, Service is too slow and not at all served properly! Flavored Hookahs are available, but in small very size with the limited time..! Place is good for hangout and eating with friends...! Went here for shisha. The atmosphere here was pretty cool. Nice music, good air ventilation, and great hospitality. Had a very nice hangout time with friends. I had order LP flavour for shisha and manchurian dry and veg hakka noodles. Try this place atleast once.

Ahemdabhad 1st hookah parlour which look decent but the food is not worth price is to high ordered pizza and rice not worth paying ambience is ok good place to chill. Good luck.

Wasteful experience because of disrespectful staff. They asked us to leave terrace despite there was space then They asked us to leave the garden just because we didn't want hookah.

Very nice ambience. Variety of food option as said undiscovered receipes. Best part of shamiyana is mocktail bar designed like a pub there. It looks awesome and service is also nice. We tried mojito and mexican sizzler, pasta everything were good.

It's a shady dark place. Food is bad, no music and to make it even worse, there's no AC. I am surprised that such a place has 3.6 rating!!!! PLEASE NOT GO

Worst food ever.. they have lot of options for food but most of them are bad. Service is not upto the mark. Post starters they took very long time to change the plate. Pizza was sweet which was disastrous. ACs not working. <br/><br/>I visited this restaurant. If I could give minus rating, I would have opted for the same.

Shamiyana-the undiscovered food restaurant <br/>where u can waste money.. Plz do not go.. If u have extra money then give to beggers..I have ordered new Mexican item just rs. 230 with tax 250.its better to eat 25 bingos.. Rating zero but there is problem so I have to select one.

Excellent service, very good quality of food. Total value for money. Little expensive but if you really want to try new flavors then this the best one.

This is the place that you can easily recognize as the one which has a lot of Lamps hanging from the trees in a dark deserted road to Gandhinagar, yes that is Shamiyana - The Undiscovered Recipes For You.<br/><br/>It is a nice Cosy Place which has a hukka lounge alongside the Restaurant.<br/><br/>We went there on the occasion of Rakshabandhan we treated our Sisters as they like the kind of food they offer , it was a first timer but was a great Experience.<br/><br/>The order started with some fancy names <br/>Kutchi Beer ka Pitcher what more can you Expect, being in Gujarat if you can order a pitcher I am the happiest man alive , then I do not mind the delicious white milky Chaas flowing out of it. It was nicely prepared now I have one more think that tastes nice straight out from the pitcher.<br/><br/>Cheese and chilly cigars was one of the star attractions on the table , my little niece was getting impatient but did not touch a single cutlery in the table and that was due to the presentation of one of the dishes it was so well presented she kept pointing towards it and wanted a note from that dish , for her it was Light wali subzi (presentation as shown on the Picture)<br/><br/>We just went there for a Hukka but the ambience invited us into the restaurant. Had visit this place ambience and interior was superb. Also took food suggested by captain "Tandoori paneer lasagna" having different taste which is served with roomali roti.<br/>Also order broccoli with cheddar soup which was having light & delicious flavour.<br/>One more order which was i personally like was home type palak khichdi. 😋<br/><br/>Dim light which i personally don't prefer...over all 3.5 /5.<br/><br/>Thanks.

Best part about the restaurant is that as the name suggests it truly has many undiscovered recipes. Ambience is also beautiful and on top of that the food is extremely delicious. Only negative about the Ambience is that it has extremely dim lights. It is a tad highly priced too. But still, a very good place to dine.

Ambience is good to someone who likes to eat in dim lights, but for others it's too poorly lit. <br/>Food quality is not on par with the price they are quoting. Overall it's good but not VFM.

I have visited this place quite a few times. Food used to be nice and menu has a great variety. But then last night I went for dinner and I wasn't served the food I ordered and the staff was non cooperative about it.

I visited the place a week before. I rode all the way to this place. The place was too hot as the Ac's were not working as soon as we entered. We were 2 people. We were given a table to sit at. There was some bad smell coming from somewhere and later I asked if we could sit at some other table. The restaurant was not at all crowded so they gave us a new table. We ordered mocktails, Mac N Cheese Spring rolls, Paneer Shaslik (Or whatever) sizzler. We were been served the Mac N Cheese Spring rolls earlier and they were too oily. When I took the first bite, I kept it back as it was full of boiled flavoured macroni and no cheese. I had high expectations with this dish. But disappointing. We were been served the sizzler later on which was a paneer sizzler but there was not a single piece of paneer in it. At the end we were served the mocktails. The service was too poor. It was my first date and it just got ruined. BADLY. The ambience is good. They have an amazing variety of dishes and I have really heard good reviews about this place, I thought it would be special which was not.

Shabnam curry with broccoli cheese naan.....no words..... can't control my urge to eat it.....rice preparations are also nice...but these days the staff is getting dull day by day.

Polite staff. Very dimly lit for my liking. Interesting food. Located in the middle of nowhere. Great Biryani. Dry double seekh kebab. Nice paneer kaleji fry (veggie). Worth a single visit for the dum Biryani. They had an interesting chhas with smoky flavour. Recommend that definitely.

I went there with my fiance on her birthday..<br/>Here they organize candle light dinner on every Friday.. but on my request they arranged candle light on Wednesday.. Which gives us amazing experience...<br/><br/>Staff was very very friendly and trained...<br/><br/>Food was also good with international taste... not like very sweet or very spicy to make them taste good..

I have been there twice one on weekdays and another was on Weekend, Their food tastes amazing, ambient is Amazing however the Service is too slow. I'm not giving remaining 1 rating just because of the speed of Services.

By looking at the decor..it is feb.. looking very good with nice interior but not food.. Service is slow..needs improvement. But price.....oh my my..it is very much high compare to same quality food..

My experience in shamiyana has been awesome. The ambience is good. But apart from this. The menu ia very nice and they offer some new dishes that are worth a try. Some of them are of entirely new taste. One beverage i always order is "Smokey Chaas". Its another one of Shamiyana's special things.

There is some issue in card payment. So pls carry cash. Otherwise everything including food,hospitality is very good. The staff is co operative.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE..! <br/>We went there for dinner on sat night , as we were 4 people they insisted us sitting on the center informal seating,even on requesting to provide us sofa seating as my mother has Back problem . The women attending was so rude , inspite of many unoccupied sofa-seating they didn't provide us , saying that those are for 6-8 people .<br/>Moreover there were 2-3 group of 4 people seating there already,which they mentioned as "6-8 persons seating"<br/>Such a shame on them ,and on the top of that when we left without having dinner they didn't had courtesy to apologize or adjust or even stop us ..!<br/>Shame on ur hospitality. First learn basic ethics and then your food and ambience matters.. <br/>For imaginary guest you guys insulted and let go the guest which came at your restaurant to eat..! <br/>I would never recommend your place to anyone and would spread this to let other people avoid such incident again..!!
