This is a proper authentic South Indian restaurant have tried so many south Indian cuisine outlets but Sankalp really makes a difference. like on an average per person it will be like 300-400 rs easily if you order normal items . They also have beverages like Coke,Pepsi,Sprite etc. All the chatnis, sambhar, rasam, dosa, idli, everything was just top to notch. Highly recommend this place. You must try the taste of Sankalp. I would like to say they have wide variety of South Indian Food. But i will say the food is worth the money. The serving of food is decorative, the taste of food was at it's best and the quality of the food is also very good.

It was my first time testing their taste but the experience was so good. All the chatnis, sambhar, rasam, dosa, idli, everything was just perfect. Highly recommend this place. Any of it's outlet the taste and services are excellent. We tried today from cruchy MASALA BOONDI, then Mysore Masala Dosa, Dosa Platter, Mendu Wada, Golden Crisp Masala Dosa, Mix Veg Uttapam and a Plain Paper Dosa. All are really up to the mark in taste as well as quantity. Always love this food with their different types of Chutney and Sambhar...

Quite a great place for your choice of vegetarian South Indian cuisine. Especially if it is dosa, idli, Vada and the like. The variety and range is huge - tantalizing and irresistible. Right from the humble plain dosa called golden crisp dosa and masala dosa that is golden crisp with extra masala to the paper masala dosa and then a riot of choices - Schezwan, Spring, Panneer, and what not. Idlis too with podi and other. Medu vada. The ambience is very good. The cutlery - especially the glasses, bowls are all in the silver type metal, heavy and quaint. The plates are china or ceramic type. They provide great platter of chutneys and accompaniments. Also the sambar is unlimited served in a Aladdin type lamp style pouring utensil. Staff are friendly. Rates start from INR 150 to 350 or so per item.

If you go and dine in restaurant its better then ordering food because thhey dont send the stuff mention in their own description of the recepi. They mention itself and say that its chargable and all of that then why they mention in the description of the same dish. Never follow the instruction. I metion them to add extra sambar they say i will need to buy 500 ml why would i order onther extra 500 ml for one dosa when i just need lil extra sambar only. Sankalp dosa are my favorite but their home delivery service is just not so fair. Even when the dish is not available at the restaurant they do not make that unavailable and call back to order onother dish. Why cant they make it unavailable at thir list only. So bad experience im having with then back to back it was not for one all the time their is somthing new one on the other.

So I ordered food from Sankalp after years and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and the efficient packaging. I had ordered the Nilgiri Special Masala Dosa with green chutney that turned out to be quite yummy and Medu Vada, which even though a little small in size, was delicious. Another good thing was the restaurant's prompt instinct to call and let me know that Gulab Jamun wasn't available and they helped me figure out what I could order instead and the Nimbu Pani that they sent in exchange was on point with zero spilling, which is a fairly common scenario. All in all, I'm happy that I chose to order from Sankalp. :)

Was there for lunch. Ordered Fried Idli, Telangana Aloo, Medu Vada, Golden Crisp, Super Paper Dosa, Special Indian Bhaji Dosa, Onion Rava, Special Tomato Masala Uthappa & Sizzling Brownie. Taste of food was average & in the terms of quantity, prices are bit high. Service was slow and staff was not friendly. Restaurant is on the first floor and there is no lift, so elderly people and specially-abled people might face difficultly.

Being quiet frequent at Sankalp in Delhi it was very relaxing to find an outlet in Gandhinagar where i was struggling for a familiar taste. Every time we went to an outlet in Delhi we were first served with rasam as a complimentary welcome drink but over here it was not served and when i asked they denied that this thing doesn’t happen in any of the outlets. The food was no doubt really tasty. At the end of the meal we were not served with finger bowls and on asking for the same the person who took our order pointed directly towards the washroom. The staff was not at all friendly and welcoming. It felt like they are being forced for the work.

First time a horrible experience with Sankalp. Usually we like sankalp very much. They provide good food no matter you are in ahmedabad or mount abu. Sankalp always satisfies you. We were in gandhinagar last sunday so we choose sankalp for lunch. For three of us we ordered one plain dosa, one chettinad dosa and a biriyani. Only plain dosa was good there was something smelly in chettinad dosa like it was spoiled. Veg biriyani was with capsicum and onion in it on the name of vegetables. it's taste was ok. The raita which was served with biriyani was also not fresh and may be 3 day old very sour and not good. Now about service ,I don't know why but one thin boy who was taking our order was very rude like he was forcefully doing his job. We called him repeatedly for another order but he was pretending like he wasn't listening. After finishing our meal, he gave us 2 pan in a bowl, we were 3 people LOL. We didn't argued a single word with them at the restaurant, but decided to share the experience with zomato users.

Ambience and hygiene is good. Though the service was good , it was slow. Morever staff is lacking the ability to manage the crowd efficiently, it takes a lot of time there to manage the guests during busy hours. Overall nice. Sorry for the bad photo capture.

Food was good. Cheesy Crispy Idli was yumm. Ordered one special tomato Uttapam - as decribed made with secret method. So i thought there would be someting special and different. When it came it was just an ordinary tomato uttapam. And same kind of thing happened when we ordered rice cake...it was just an ordinary idli.. Here my point is they mislead by the titles and description of the food which they should not. You should work on it.

Everytime when I go there, I love the taste and the preparation of the food.. the taste of Sambhar is too yummy.. must visit for original South Indian taste. Only thing I don’t like is the pan they provide in the last which is complimentary however it always caught my tonsils. So I prefer not to have it!

Today I visited Sankalp at noon. The specific issue is the SERVICE. When i finished my dish, waiter came and ask me, if you want to order more, i said no. Then he came, pick my plate, and even if my wife and mother in law is eating he picked all the extra items (chutneys and sambhar) and their plate from the table, and started cleaning it.

The experience over all was ok. First of all they give very limited range of Dosa’s. Even a corner larivala has more variety of dosas than them. The photo I am sharing is schezwan Dosa and viola all we get is cabbage and tomato filled wraps and the owner even accepts it’s not a traditional schezwan but their way of looting people. Don’t know why this place got such good ratings. Never coming to this place again

I came Gandhinagar for the first time and it was the first one I tried and really had a very good experience. Loved this variety of chutney. The taste of Vaghar idli is unforgettable, heard something like this for the first time and it was yum!. I will go again definitely. Make sure you also try. Went here for the first time, choosing not to go to Mr. And Mrs. Idli. This place has a better ambience, and is worth the price with Gold. We had a bisibelebath and a rava onion dosa. The bisibelebath was not really authentic, but it tasted pretty good and close enough to home. The rava onion dosa was surprisingly done really well, with a very nice flavour and nothing overdone. The chutneys and sambhar that came with it were quite the showstoppers (they give you SO MUCH SAMBHAR). Overall, I loved the place and would definitely go back for another rava dosa!

Dosa served by Sankalp infocity was low quality, I am assuming it was due to being GOLD MEMBER, first They served very bad quality chatni- so i asked for fresh one, he immediately brought fresh one, that was nice quality, and both dosa served to us were not recently cooked, it was clearly looking made earlier before dont know so much before the time may be in morning or afternoon,. but HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR APPROACH, AS THEY HAVE TO GIVE ONE DOSA FREE, THEY ARE CLEARLY COMPROMISING WITH FOOD QUALITY. The worst experience.. poor customer service. The person who was taking orders was mannerless. Even the Manager was rude to customers. Staff behave with customers in arrogant manner. Quality of food is also not satisfactory. Charges extra rupees... have been to there since 1 and a half year but the last experience was worst. It seems like they do not care about customers. Sankalp used to be the best south indian food restaurant in Gandhinagar. I don't know what happened. May be the chef is changed. Recently when I visited we all ordered different food. None of it was tasty. More salty than it should be. And the famous coconut chutney tasted nothing like the previous ones i used to eat a lot. They need revamping.

The only good option for South Indian food in Gandhingar. The dosas & uttapams are at par with what they serve in other outlets in Ahmedabad. The good part is that the taste of all food items and also the sambhar & chutneys is the same across all its locations. The quantity is good and the taste is better than most other south-Indian restaurants in Gujarat. A good place to visit with family for a nice meal. Visited this restaurant before some time.. As it was Sankalp, ordering one dosa is always worth to enjoy their mouth watering Sambhar and different types of Chutney.. So we ordered Golden Crisp - Plain Dosa and Sankalp's Top Seller Vegetable Pulav.. Both dishes were fair enough as far as quality and taste is concerned.. The only concerning factor at Sankalp is pricing.. I personally felt it little costly as compare to other south indian restaurants.. But to enjoy quality south indian food you can visit this restaurant for sure..

Terrible service.a simple order of uthapams and dosa. We did not receive our correct orders . When we finally received the order it was cold. On informing the waiter, he touched the entire uthapam with his bare hands and surely reheated the same and got it back. 2 dishes were raw to add to our problem.one dish was burnt. The entire table finished their food and one friend was still waiting for her sada dosa. NEVER TO RETURN HERE EVER.

If you love South Indian cuisine this is the place for you. It was my first visit to this chain. We were starting when we visited this place but left with full and happy tummy. We tried Spring Dosa, Neelgiri dosa and Uthappa. Spring Dosa was Crispy and cheese on it which was a bit different but the dosa layer and filling of veggies were crunchy, hence tasted very fresh. Neelgiri dosa had a layer of mint on the inside of dosa it was again very fresh and tasty. Uthappa too was very yummy. This place served assortment of chutneys and Sambhar in huge portion, which were savory and really good. They served paan filled with coconut shavings as mouth freshener which was a delight.

Visited the place with family and was one of the worst experience even before we commenced our dinner. After a 45 min wait in simmering humid climate, we were finally led to a table which was worse than waiting in open. The overhead and surrounding AC were not working properly. It difficult to sit leave aside enjoy the meal. Despite repeated requests to change the table or provide alternative cooling arrangements, we were rudely advised to manage. They would have the same corrected next time. Hearing this sought of response from the manager as well just completely put you off. We left the place mid way and they had no concerns whatsoever (Why would they be concerned when you have queue waiting for you). Service is last on their minds. Worst experience under the Sankalp franchise. Think before you visit.

South Indian food was good. Ambiance and service was great. Good experience so far in sankalp the south indian. One thing was confusing there, that was water in the bottle and I guess pudina was dip in the water, probably a tradition of sankalp. I would suggest if you are thinking of south indian then try Sankalp.

I would give it a 2 out of 5. Although the ambience is decent the cutlery is extremely dirty. I found a spoon which was clearly used by someone else and then thrust into our tables spoon holder without washing. The waiters were impolite and they kept staring at the women present at our table making them uncomfortable. All in all I don't recommend this restaurant.

sankalp is the best for south indian food. I have tried many dosa like three barrel, rava masala and many more, I just love it's food quality, taste, service and every thing..it is much better than any else restaurant for south indian food...

If you want to say ‘Hello’ to your ‘Gastroenterologist’, then this is the place to go. My husband and I went there for a lunch once and the experience was awful to say the least. We had ordered ‘Vegetable Pulao’. The quantity served would not fill even half the space in your stomach when compared to the price, which is Rs. 175/- per plate. The item was extremely spicy and disastrously oily. We managed to somehow ingest it and it was a goddamn mistake. Within an hour after reaching home, I was afflicted with food poisoning. We would never dare to visit that restaurant again. Ratings: Ambience: 2 Taste: 1 Pricing: 1

Don't even have a dream of coming to this restaurant! It's too bad 😒 They don't even provide finger bowl. The waiters are too rude. Only ambience is good. Don't expect anything from this bloody restaurant ! It's just a piece of shit.
