Review Kansar Garden Restaurant - Gandhinagar

The location is excellent. We celebrated a birthday party there and they have provided a separate area to us for celebration. The quality of the food is excellent and the service is awesome. The staff was courteous and took care of our decoration area also till the guests arrived.

Visited with family, Food is awesome & service is also good. location is center in Kudasan area. Parking problem there. Kansar Garden interior is very nice & night time is very best for visit. 5-7 km form main Bus-stand of Gandhinagar.

The food tastes very good. Food serving is also good. Lighting arrangements need some improvement. Outer decorations also need some maintenance.

Located in Kudasan. Visited on Saturday evening. Waiting time was approx. 10-15 minutes. Taste and Quality of food is superb. However, service is very slow. Almond Brocoli soup was scrumptious. Mexican Sizzler was also delectable. Overall good place to eat and enjoy with family. Highly Recommended place! Will love to visit again.

A few months ago we organised a program at Kansar. My family and I really enjoyed the food that was done by the staff. Apart from that, we have visited several times, and at no point were we disappointed by the good quality and service which were provided by the staff of the Kansar.

Good experience! We had to move from Chennai in India to Bangalore. Based on reviews in Google, we contacted the company for a low-cost estimate. Everything was carefully packed and transported safely. All our belongings were delivered on time. They're highly professional. I recommend them!

Perfect place for family gathering and celebrations. The place has only Peaceful & positive vibes. Serves delicious food items. As we celebrated birthday they started some party songs and enhanced the enthusiasm. They provides u a separate area just to avoid any kind of embarrassment. Its worth to visit kansar with family.

Visited during recent Gandhinagar trip. Tried 3 different sizzlers and all were really good. Each had its unique taste. Had also ordered Manchurian and fried rice, and that was delicious too. Manchurian was really soft on the inside. Recommended!

One of the best Garden Restaurant in Gandhinagar area. Restaurant has two options, either you enjoy in private cottages or in general ac dining area. Good waiting area available inside restaurant with lawn. Exterior is good, like village theme. Service is excellent. At first they serve Traditional Kansar (a sweet dish) in a bowl, it was super tasty. We had ordered Veg Manchaw Soup, Mexican Tortilla Soup, Paneer Tikka and Kansar Special Sizzler. Soup, starter were good. Sizzler was not upto the mark.

We ordered ringan no odo and paneer lababdar with bajrino rotlo and butter naan and one mix stater platter. the staff is good, atmosphere is pleasant,no mosquitoes, washroom available, parking available, service is fast, hygiene place,foodnis yummy,very comfortable and pleasant place for family/friends/get together.

We went for dinner ..there are two kind of sitting arrangement outside and Indore. Food is good . Ambience is very good. Service is good. Test is average..pricevis resonable. You love to spent time at this place at outdoor sitting. Parking place is enought.

Best garden restaurant in Gandhinagar locality. Parking space available. Two types of sitting indoor (AC) and outdoor in Hut. Service good. Staff well trained and good in nature. I tried punjabi fix dish lunch (Rosted papad ,salad,two sabji -one paneer and mix veg.,3 roti -Tanduri or tava,two gulab jamun in sweet, dal rice, masala butter milk). If you visiting this place then you will get complimentary Lapsi(kansar). Test top notch. In night I tried -paneer butter masala -manchurian -naan -soup(Tomato) -masala papad -dal rice.

Please is awesome. The food taste is good but according to the price the quantity was very less. As well as they are providing sweet Kansar as complementary but the taste of kansar is just ok not as expected.

A very good place for authentic Gujarati dishes with good taste and affordable price. The approach and behaviour of the staff are commendable. The outdoor sitting arrangement in thatched huts is very interesting. The ambiance is impressive. The overall experience with food and service is good.

It was a birthday party organized and food was order. Paneer Amritsari had 2 small paneer. So told the waiter to check. After 5 min he came with a bowl of frozen paneer. This is sick ..Worst don't ever go. Waste of money.

This Restaurant is very spacious also has unique seating style as it has individual huts also they provide decorated huts for individuals and coming to the food some of the dishes were amazing but some of them were avg.. overall a good place to go out with family ,friends and your partner..

OH MY GOODNESS<br/>This resturant is pure love!<br/>I mean service and everything was just on point i was seriously imprsd with that.<br/>About food so i am super happy with the taste also i have no complaints about anything and i am sure i will visit here again!You should defintly try this once if you need peaceful atmopshere!

I want to be polite but the restaurant owner is not.... He is too rude with the customers and not at all able to understand customers request.... Being a regular customer i will not criticize the food but behaviour matters a lot .... So from now I have decided will never go in this restaurant and also ask friends and relatives not to go for this restaurant......

Found unwanted ingredients(Leg of Red flour beetle) in ordered veg. item. but restaurant manager denied to accept that. we all customer (12 person) agree that it is leg of Red flour beetle but manager denied that.<br/>Please dont prefer this type of restaurant. We visited Kansar on a busy festival night and hence had to wait for more than half an hour. The restaurant has outer hut like seating and a big hall if one wishes to sit inside. It's a perfect setting for a family dinner. We ordered Special Dal baati, a speciality at Kansar. The daal was bit spicy but delicious. Baati could have been better. We ordered Achari Paneer Till for starter which was nicely presented and well cooked. Been here 3 times. Consistent quality. Best sweet ever - they call it kansar, I just loved it infact all those with me did too. Other than that food quality is decent. Great place for greenery lovers. They also have those cute little rabbits. It's just a lovely place to visit

Before some years I was just passing from this road and wanted to go there when I was high school student 😅so finally Been here for couple of times and both times their consistency was same yet there are many veg restaurants in gandhinagar provides better quality than kansar but if someone is in love with greenery and want to eat in garden then its okay for them they have Ac rooms as well ...nice place to visit but not any special yumm things here just a average place.<br/>Good to go with family will definitely recommend this place 😊

It was a Farewell party and we were like 25 people. I would say food is not that extra-ordinary kind of but yeah better than many other restaurants. One good thing about this place is that they serve 'Kansar bowl' as a compliment. Overall good experience. They have garden restaurant as well as indoor facility. If you want to enjoy beautiful evening with your close one than you shoupd definitely visit this place.

It’s really good place, and also good food. Just need to update little fast service and food quality need to maintain. Some time food came not hot enough while serving from kitchen to table. Otherwise all service is perfect and recommended place.

Beautiful ambiance , wonderfully decorated place perfect for a special dinner. Visited this place to enjoy kathiyawadi cuisine, had really good time relishing the food. <br/>Tried sev- tomatar, baigan bharta , sirsaon ka sang , bajre ki bhakri , jawar ki khari, ghehu ki Bhari , makke ki roti , chapati , dal tadka and jeera rice. The food was good though not finger licking types but still subtle on favours n spices. <br/>The staff is cordial n ready to help on each and everything possible. <br/>P:S : value for money is very very high.... <br/>All the best keep it up.

Food was pathetic to say the least. Don't ever try any cheese based food if you want your taste buds to remain intact, especially the Au Gratin.<br/>On top of it, they really like to fool people into paying extra.<br/>Pan Parlour adjoining the shop, which is managed by the restaurant itself, charges around 2rs extra per Cold Drink bottle.<br/>It is against the law to charge more than MRP, and on objecting came the standard high headed reply "if you don't like it take it from somewhere else".<br/>I'll surely be filing a consumer complaint against it soon, stop fleecing the customers and show some respect and sense of service, being in service industry yourself.

I just loved the food of Kansar. I literally getting fan of it's Kansar. I tried Punjabi Food, Haidrabadi Biryani.<br/>It was amazing. If anyone wants to go with Family or partner, I recommend to go for Kansar. Specially the outside area is so nice.

Had awesome time at Kansar today with my friends. We were a group of 18 and had dinner there the order was ala carte since we had not pre ordered or booked any specific dinner package but to be true the ala carte food quality and service were awesomely good finger licking taste and quick service is what we look for and same we got at Kansar...<br/><br/>Keep up good work guys.

Nice open space, decent food quality complemented with nice portion size. One more thing that strikes you is that pricing is much more economical than the pricing of any such restaurant in Ahmedabad. We had gone in afternoon, with nice weather, less crowd, got feeling of dining in private farm house and I hear that this place is even nicer in evenings, so yes a good find if you like dining in open with desi cuisine at hand (they do though have Oriental preparations too in their menu). Just a few things that management can do to improve the experience is to make the cutlery and uniforms of the staff more traditional to make the experience feel complete.<br/> One can surely look to go here for a nice relaxing time with family and friends.

This is a perfect place for a romantic date under the rain. The ambience is great. I recommend getting a table on tree loft. The view is amazing plus it has its own feel to it.<br/>The food was delicious. They probably serve the best Malai Kofta in town. The service was prompt and the staff was chivalrous.

This is very special place for me. I got married at the banquet hall and had dinner reception at lawn area. Banquet hall is big enough and lawn area with sitting area under the hut type construction is very good. Service is very good. And most important food is awesome. Everyone who came to my wedding reception had one come thing to say that food was awesome. Specially daal makhani and spring roll. I have been here 2 times for dinner and I will be visiting this place again and again. Highly recommended.

This weekend went to kansar also visted couple of time. Good garden restaurant to visit. You should prefer bamboo style floor made to sit in first floor its good and order soup all taste good , starter are average but main course taste is nice specially kansatr special paneer , kaju curry.

Visited this place after attending a Holi Tomatina festival @ Infocity. <br/><br/>The overall experience for me was unlike the other reviews I am reading here. We had their fixed lunch which for 145 was a stellar deal considering the quality, quantity and taste! So in terms of taste of what was served to be, it was brilliant.<br/><br/>Service was okay. The staff although not warm and inviting were not all the way rude and arrogant. <br/><br/>Ambience well is a matter of taste. The fact that they offered different seating options in the outdoor seating (chairs / khaat / cushion) was a good thought considering the comfort level of customers.<br/><br/>Definitely a visit once again! The Kansar which came complimentary with the food was every bit drool worthy with no compromise on the Desi ghee!

Ordered dish hariyali sabji which is kind of spinach based gravy sabji yet the taste was not good, also serving was slow despite there was only us. Just good thing was the rotis were made of whole wheat but some degree uncooked. The staff was good but I can not recommend this restaurant.

Went a big group of 23 people, and were pleasantly surprised that we were all seated at the same place within 20 minutes. Food was pretty good. Paneer Luckhnawi and Veg Awadhi were worth mentioning, as was the Kivi Margarita and the Sweet Lassi. A few of the naans were charred partially, but that is acceptable in such a large order. Price range is also comfortable, along with nice ambiance and good seating arrangements.

Nice ambience. They have indoor and outdoor both seating arrangement. Very impressive look of the huts from outside especially at night. Average food quality. They give kansar (sweet dish) in the beginning for free. Good hangout place where you can go with family and friends in a large group.

Entered and took an exit with a take away.<br/>Wanted to dine in open but due to bad light it killed my mood.<br/>When asked wats your best...The guy at the reception was busy talking over the phone.<br/>I waited for him till the call ends.<br/>Then he tells haan bolo sirji...<br/>Kansar special veg. Best hain...I said ok go ahead...<br/>When opened damm I saw a white gravy layer thought it's sweet...but under it there was red gravy as well.mixed both the gravies but the taste was disappointing. Too too too much of mava taste in it.it was as sweet as sugar syrup...Red gravy didn't play it's role to cut the sweetness...Overall not satisfied...<br/><br/>Funny incident while waiting for my parcel: there are double decker huts and a couple had occupied it.suddenly heard a the gentleman's shout to the captain ...bhaiya upar aake order to lelo yaar....:):):)<br/><br/>

Worst experience ever! It is so dark that none can have a fruitful dinner. Only couples who prefer to sit in a dark corner are happy here with the ambiance. Considering it as a family restaurant, we went there and it was a bullshit experience. <br/>Nothing great about here expect the design; which is a complete replica of a garden restaurant; which was open a year ago near Raisan petrol pump highway. <br/>Also few huts are reserved here for storing restaurant items; which looks ugly as it is a sitting area for customers. <br/>Coming to the food; the food served to us except the sabji; was all cold and tasteless. Paneer quality is little low. Vegetable sabji was nice.

Food was horrible, from the soup to main course. <br/><br/>Rotis were cold and like rubber. Rice was served as if brought from cold storage! <br/><br/>Went there to celebrate my b'day, spoiled the evening.

A good alternative for Gandhinagar. Spacious restaurant, good decor, good food , good service. Nothing great about it but good is great with very limited options in Gandhinagar.
