Review Happinezz - Gandhinagar

Akash Gulve
Baps Akshardham Temple in Gujarat, a masterpiece of spirituality and architecture, offers a tranquil retreat. To reach this divine sanctuary, one can conveniently use road or rail, with Gandhinagar Railway Station being the closest transit point. For a comfortable stay, Gandhinagar provides various accommodation options, such as Fortune Inn Haveli and Cambay Sapphire, catering to diverse preferences. Exploring local cuisine is a culinary delight, featuring Gujarati specialties like dhokla and thepla, adding a flavorful dimension to the visit. The temple maintains minimal entry fees, ensuring affordability for visitors. Tickets are available on-site. Notably, the temple remains closed on Mondays, an important detail for planning visits. Additionally, the restriction on mobile phones inside the premises fosters a serene environment, allowing devotees to fully immerse themselves in the divine ambiance and spiritual experience.

The place is well maintained and properly secured. If you are visiting first time you should note down a few things- - You have to deposit your phones, smart watches, cameras before entering. - You can also deposit your bags and helmets as they are not allowed inside. - Only one person on a bike/car allowed inside the parking - You can get a photo clicked in front of temple from inside and they would print it for you and provide a nice cover for them and the time taken for this process is 30 minutes and the cost per photo is ₹100 - If you are there during evening, do not miss the laser show as it is really good

Beautiful experience. The entire journey at the painting and musieum gallery is awesome. Top notch security and other facilities that were hassle free. A souvenir shop adds to the touch. Photography is strictly not allowed inside.

Great place to visit, it doesn't need my certificate to that effect. Must visit place. You have to deposit your mobile and handbags ( big ones, no need for small ones) at the counter and it took about 10 minutes. It is free service. No entrance fee or tkt, then stand in queue for security check, it took me less than 5 minutes to be inside the temple complex. Good, clean very well maintained.

Beautiful, very well maintained temple. After offering prayers, you can go upstairs to see the history of the temple and Swaminarayan. They even have a kids play area and rides. We had a great experience.

It's awesome and peaceful. There are many things to watch. Garden is very nice. There are different rides for kids and adults. You can get adventure experience in some rides. There is laser show at night. The laser show is fantastic. Also you can try best food here. Food quality is very nice. This place is clean. Divine. Best place near Ahmedabad to visit as a picnic. You can visit this place with friends and family. For children, it is perfect place to visit.

Very easy to reach the temple. There is ample bike/car parking, and it's cheap. Note that before entering all electronics; phone, smartwatch, headphones etc plus big bags need to be kept in a locker. They take a picture of the depositor before giving the token which makes it safer while collecting. Carry cash or card to buy food inside. Food options include all kinds of snacks, Jain food, Punjabi food and Gujarati food. Coming to the temple, it is an absolute piece of art. Every stone is carved with hand with utmost love & devotion. There is no entry charge for the main temple and the painting gallery. But exhibitions are chargeable 60 per adult. There are 5 exhibitions which are a bit lengthy so I suggest that you visit around 3-4pm so you come out of the exhibition hall just in time to watch the water and laser show.

It is a beautiful place. The architecture is so intricate and detailed..love it..the paintings showcasing the life of the first Pramukh Swami is just mesmerizing. Some of them quite literally feel alive. No camera or cell phones are allowed which is sad but given the security risk one would understand.
