The restaurant was overall all good. The prices of the dishes are also affordable. We really like the atmosphere of the rest. The food was good, we ordered pad Thai noodles. It was tasty.

Nice place to come and enjoy the view πŸ˜‰ and have good food and drink cocktails 🍸 πŸ˜‹ πŸ‘Œ. And if you have attitude, don't come go to some 5 star hotel and din . I really enjoyed this place. And don't see the star rating.

Pro: Pretty good taste and Tibetan cuisine were worth ordering. We ordered Mexican fried rice and Fing with black mushrooms. Ambiance 3/5 nothing very fancy. The price was reasonable and the service was ok. One thing I would like to mention, for the first time I have seen such fennel seeds with this tasty coating.

Cons: it was an ok restaurant

We asked and entered the restaurant at 1 pm... There was food scattered on the chair so have asked them to get it cleaned... They asked us to leave... Shall strongly advise never to visit this place

According to the crowd more staff needed. Greeting an hospitality is very bad. We are waiting for long time bt no one is bother to come to an take any order. We repeatedly call them bt they don't respond Nd if they come also they don't bother to need to hear our hole order. So very disappointing. I am not recommended this place to any one. Don't waste your presious tym an money.

Loved the Food And Ambience Here. We Were Badly Hungry Reaching Here. In No Time, We Ordered 3 Types Of Fried Rice. And All Those 3 Tastes Different And Good. They Had fried Noodles mixed With Rice. That was something unique but loved it. Lemon Chicken Was Average In Taste But Kung Pao Chicken Was Absolutely Drooling.

Location of the restaurant is good. Food is also good but there is a huge room for improvement. We had thukpa and cantonese noodles. Taste of both the dishes were good, but the thukpa could have a lot more flavour in the broth. Also the pork slices contained much more fat than meat. However, the service staff were smiling, polite and welcoming.

One of the best restaurants on M G Marg, this place scores very high on food and drinks though not so much on ambience.

We ordered Sikkimese red wine Saino along with the local starters - chicken choila, chicken sekewa, chicken sadekho - and chicken momos. The starters were unique, spicy, tasty and very satisfying. The momos were probably the best we had during our Sikkim Trip.

Must visit in Gangtok!

Overall good. Thukpa was not that good but Chilli Potato and Paneer Chilli was fine. Ambience is amazing. Various cuisines are available. Go for itπŸ‘
Very polite staffs and dim light family bar restaurant, located right in the middle of the famed MG Market in Gangtok.

Food - 3/5
Ambience - 4/5
Management - 5/5

I along with my girlfriend went there for dinner after a long spree of shopping and soaking in the amazing view of the market and the mountains.

We were tired and wanted a nice warm welcome, and we got just that in this place. The staffs were so polite and friendly, that we felt at home almost instantly.

The ambience was mildly lit and well decorated in a typical Gangtok style, with lot of fine art works on the table mate. Their music choice was also very good, mostly playing soft melodies and blues along with some romantic tunes, which added more to the intoxicating atmosphere.

We ordered Honey potato chili, veg manuchurian sauce and veg fried rice. And a 30ml of Antiquity and Signature each. Food was a little bit oily.

πŸ”ΉHoney chilli potato - First they had brought us, chilli potato, but changed it immediately upon complaining. No questions asked, no explanations, just in a polite way the waiter said "I'm so sorry, it was the mistake of our kitchen". We were literally touched by his words. Such a good human being. Hope we have services like this in Kolkata. The dish was a soggy, sweet & sour and spicy mixture of french fry styled potato, which serves a great purpose of removing the alcohol texture from your mouth after every little sip.

πŸ”ΉVeg Manchurian Sauce - Yes, it has Veg Manchurian balls in it, πŸ˜… and not completely a gravy/sauce. But that was what written in the menu. It was oily, and not so tasty, the balls were soft, and was seasoned well but lacks the flavour. Was a bit spicy for my pallete.

πŸ”ΉVeg fried rice - Was too oily. Taste was missing something very important, may be some vinegar or soy sauce or something tangy and a little sweet.

The food quantity is very very good. They have big heart when it comes to serving food, and serves large portion/quantity of everything. Loved it. And also the food price is very pocket friendly, even the bar too, like 30ml Indian liqour costed us around 100 bucks..which i think is quite cheap.

Overall i liked the experience.
😊😊😊😊😊😊

We visited this place by looking at its special menu... Which was
β€’Pork ribs on fire- and, it was literally on fire.... The pork ribs arrived with flames and lots of smoke... Four huge pieces of pork ribs with lots of masalas... Though I didn't like the masala that much... But it was a traditional preparation
β€’ Chicken Gyathuk- another traditional dish... Recommended by the servicegirl... This is better than thukpa... And, is light...
β€’ Alcohol- Brandy, Rum and Whiskey... Everything was quite within range...
The service was prompt, staffs are very cooperative... And most importantly you can see the mg Marg while having your food... Good ambience.
With Shubhamay

This place serves one of the best pork ribs. Try their house special of the day if you are here. They are mostly good. Smoky pork was also very good. Ambience is decent and music is good. One can have a good time over some good food here.

Had BBQ pork ribs here. Worth the price. Was juicy and tender as i liked. Also had fried rice and Kang pao chicken which was good too. Service was excellent and food arrival time was good. Ambiance was awesome and the music was favourable too.

This restaurant is situated on one end of m.g marg (not the Gandhi statue end). We went here for dinner at around 8 p.m. It was mostly occupied. Loud music was playing. The waitress was formal and polite. Service was fast enough. As with other restaurants of the area they don't give you water unless you ask them to. We ordered
1) Veg mushroom fried rice
2) Chicken fried rice - Both the rice dishes had enough quantity. The rice was a short and fat grained variety. Both the rice tasted same apart from the mushrooms and chicken. Taste and texture is different from Kolkata fried rice, it was on the saltier side. Chicken shreds were a bit smelly, very typical of cooked frozen chicken.
3) Hongkong chicken - tasted really good. Had lots of pineapples and some papaya and few cashews in the gravy. It's a spicy and tangy preparation which went well with the fried rice dishes. There were ample chicken pieces with a very thin coating.
4) Chicken thukpa- a big bowl of noodles with peas and other veggies and shreds of chicken in a bland but tasty broth. It's a very healthy option and is a meal in itself.
5) Vanilla lassi- tasted average.
Price is pocket-friendly. If you are there and want some chinese food at a decent price, do visit this place. Ratul Ghosh

Situated in famous M.G marg. Nice place. We go for Schezwan rice and hot garlic pork . Pork is good. Quantity is good enough for two. Price is reasonable for food menu, bit high for alcohol.

This is a quiet Place on first floor opposite oriental hotel in MG Road. Good food, nice momos, fried rice etc. Rum as cheap as Rs 40, perfect for this weather. If you love hills, everything will look delicious. One dish which is a sure no no at this place is Chicken 75 in Vodka sauce. Rest all works well. Cheers!

I solely went there for pork. That's all. Not so disappointed by the taste πŸ–πŸ‘Œ, price was also not that steep but certainly not that cheap!! Ambience wise good.

Quick tips: If you are in sikkim, my advice is to drink at all possible place (if you are into liquor). Here at chopstick's, You can get a 60ml of rum (XXX) at as low as 60 bucks!! Just go for it with every dish possible!! πŸ˜·πŸ˜‚

Overall experience: Quite good. 4 star only due to the unavailability of POS-payment!! It is a near impossible job to fetch cash from any ATM at MG-Marg.

As recommended by Zomato, we visited the place on Saptami evening of 2018. It was a small place, and most 4 seater tables were full. We were a family of five, and we ordered

American chopsuey (pork) : Very decent quantity (enough for 1) and very tasty. Little less sweet than the version you generally get in Kolkata, and came with chunks of pineapple, a white square of some fruit (tasted a bit like "tal sash", and very good amount of pork bites. Another difference was there was no friend egg on top but slivers of omelet.

Chicken Thupka: This was a huge bowl and my husband's order. Very healthy with medium sized boneless chicken. The broth was light, so he added a bit of spicy sauce.

For drinks we had vodka and old monk. The price of drinks was very reasonable, and since peanut was over, they served a plate of sliced cucumber with it. The whole bill was about 1500.

The server was very helpful and ever smiling.

The only thing I didn't like was the price of cocktails which were quite high!!

Chopsticks, mg road is amongst one of the best restaurants at mg road.
Ambience is very pretty with local touch overlooking the bustling mg road.

Service is pretty slow.

Food: we had a number of dishes.
Pork ribs with honey chilli β€” we are not pork fan, but this one is good.

chicken sekewa β€” local Sikkimese dish. Bite size boneless chicken pieces tossed lightly in a tangy spicy saucy gravy.

Grilled chicken on brown sauce served with boiled veggies and buttered white bread sandwichesβ€” chicken was little stiff but it tasted good.

Mixed noodles; Triple fried riceβ€” quantity is good and tasted superb too.

Price is slightly on higher side.
