Review Oasis - Gangtok

PRO: The place serve really good Yogurt Dessert. That’s something new that I have tried. It was almost like a ice cream. The shop can be easily located on the main market road. They even serve alcohol. The staff is friendly. CONS: The seating is a little tight. Due to crowd the service is little delayed.

This was a random pick up on our first Gangtok visit. It was raining, getting late in the night but still the owner decided to serve us the dinner. It’s amazing restaurant. Superb taste at very affordable price. Service is great and staff is too good. Wonderful experience and and we had dinner at this place on both days of our stay at Gangtok. One must try this.

We visited this cafe in MG Marg New Market just at the starting of the main road after couple of shops. It was a nice cafe to have tasty momos. We purposefully went to eat momos, as they serve a variety of momos and lot more snacks. Fried momos tated good with the seasoning and chutney. Presentation was well, quick service, nice clean well to do cafe,with good staff. Must try different varieties of momos.

A very beautiful cafe just by the roadside with a view giving your the feel of what Sikkim holds further. Very courteous and quick staff. Help you with their suggestions. The coffee and tea, both are must haves here. The dimsums also tasted nice. En route Gangtok or exiting Gangtok, this is the halt place you want to stop at for some refreshments and tea/coffee.

Good place to have desserts. Frozen yogurt is their specialty. Not too expensive. There's barely any place to sit/ stand in side the outlet to have the dessert. Taste is good.

They have very good shakes and the chicken zinger fired burger is the best. They are also very professional and the service is good.

Firstly, Subway has closed down permanently and in it's place is a brand new joint called Sonny's Oasis Cafe with the tag line" Great Food Every Time ". True to it's tag line, the food's great, ambience cool and cuisine different from the general mish mash available in Gangtok. Good location, excellent service, healthy portions and priced to suit everyone's budget! A must try place!!
